Amazing space, hell to get parked in, but seriously... Amazing space
Never a bad time. The staff was wonderful and the music was fantastic. I will definitely be back soon!!
Saw Paw Patrol live here. Great show, great venue. I did not like the steep seating and parking was far away. Personal preference.
This is a fancy place. Bring your date here if you want to close. The Fox is for closers.
Always a great time at the Fox. What a great venue and piece of history. Crowds can be unwieldly, but that is a good problem to have.
I always love going to the Fox Theater; it's another reason to dress up (or not) and enjoy the atmosphere!
All of the attendants were very helpful getting us to our seats and through the security checks. The show was great and even being in the balcony we still had a great view.
Beautiful theater. Fabulous show. Love every visit.
Excellent. Always a good time. Courteous employees.
This historic theatre is everything you hope it would be.
For first timers or those that hate crowds it can get a little close quarters after a show. Patience is key. Also please get their early so you can grab your seat. The worst is being that person who comes in during the show interrupting your viewing. Do go to the bathroom before as well. Specially of your in a middle seat.
No matter what or how many times you've been, take it all in.
My husband and I love going to The Fox. The was it was designed to really inspire the imagination. I do wish there was a little more room between rows. When getting to your seat with people already at their seat makes it a little tight. The seats are comfortable, for the most part.
The theatre itself is a work of art, clean and beautiful. However, they literally forgot to mail me my tickets. I called them two weeks before the date of the concert, wondering where they were. Apparently they were supposed to mail out the month after the show?? So I put them on will call. Got to the theatre and Will Call didn't have them, so they sent me to the box office... Who also didn't have them. They printed me more, but it was understandably nerve wracking and frustrating.
Then my seat was broken. They got maintenance down there and fixed it, but we ended up standing in the aisle for about twenty or so minutes because of that. I don't know what would have been done if we hadn't gotten there an hour early.
The staff was friendly, but all of this made my experience frustrating. The concert was spectacular though!!
The fabulous Fox. Saved from the wrecking ball in the 1970s, this is Atlanta's premier performance venue. Check out the moving clouds on the ceiling.
I always love the Fox!! No bad seats in the house personally but I love the balcony!! Saw Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and it was magical!!
It's The Fox, hands down the best theater in Atlanta. Better for shows than concerts though, the acoustics just don't work so well with super loud amps
Overall hospitality can use improvements. Love the historical thematic. Parking assistant could be helpful and beneficial for guests. Popcorn was expensive and stale. Couldn't give it away.
Loved the architecture design and the Event was Elegant and Classy!
There's a reason it's called the"Fabulous Fox Theatre" -- because it is. If you live in the Atlanta area and have never been, you have been missing out on one of Atlanta's historic jewels of architecture. They present a wide variety of entertainment, from Broadway musicals to rock concerts, classic movies, and stand-up comedy, so there's no excuse for not finding something that interests you. If price is a concern, check discount ticket outlets, or get nosebleed seats and ask the ushers when you can move to a closer seat (for lightly attended events), or consider joining their volunteer usher team and see many events for free! Besides the main theater, the Fox also has beautiful, large ballrooms for company events and the like. Paid parking is available, and a little pricey, so you may want to avoid the heavy traffic before and after events, and consider taking Marta, or park a little further away, and enjoy a short walk (perhaps not for more dressy events during the summer).
Always a great place to view a play or other performance
I loved the venue and the volunteers were super nice. I thought the mix sounded muffled and muddy, though.
Overpriced everything, crowded as hell, bathrooms are old and weird, security makes you throw away a tiny half-inch key knife with no option to check it or have ccw despite being in the center of one of the most violent cities in the US, small and uncomfortable seats
Always a great experience at the Fox! There is not a more beautiful theater. The architecture is amazing. The staff are not only great at their jobs, but they are all extremely friendly! Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get there - Atlanta traffic is always heavy.
It was my 1st time attending a show. Went to see Gucci and I was a bit disappointed because they didn't really have any opening acts so it was dragging along but the bartender Candace was AMAZING and got me and my sister super LIT! Very friendly and made great drinks. Sadly my phone was stolen in the bathroom but Gucci did a great job and I plan to return for more shows in the future!
The show was good, but the usher's was a little over the top. I paid good money to see a show.
Dionne, Peabo Bryson, and Deniece Williams were fantastic!
Enjoyed Bodyguard....
The theater is awesome, the stage magnificent...
Hamilton and Anita Baker were so good. Excellent venue
Always a great experience at The Fox! Only gripe I would have if that the sound system was terrible for the Alabama/Charlie Daniels Band.
Great shows. Depending on who you see. Soundgarden was amazing. Rip Chris. Mastadon and Primus were sub par. Just a good venue but like I said it all dpeneds on who you see. Pricy drinks. So get drunk before hand. View is amazing. Especially if you get the chance to see the ceili g when it's blue. It's beautiful
Never a bad experience! Years of wonderful memories made at the Fabulous Fox!
Fox is super expensive $$$ they have horrible policy of charging for kids that don't even need a seat. For cheapest seats my family of 6 spent over $200 (even though our 2 and 3yr old were in our lap the whole time) They claim it is due to security, i call BS. The show was good. Concessions lines in between acts was horrible, they should have employees to help facilitate the lines.
The building itself is pretty neat. Old school theater with plush carpeting, dim lights and some pretty unique features. Unfortunately there were a few negatives that make me reluctant to go back.
For starters, you'd better get there pretty early because they decided that a playhouse needs airport style security. Full metal detectors, bag checks and random wanding after you've already made it through. What's worse is that there are no actual security guards, just people hired to run the checkpoint, meaning that someone with ill intent could just force their way in. The whole thing is a huge hassle and does nothing to improve safety. It probably makes it worse since everyone has to stack up in a confined space to wait in line.
Second, the sound system really needs an update. Our seats were near the back and we could barely hear what the actors were saying. It was too quiet and there was a lot of echo.
Lastly, the tickets were very expensive. We saw Book of Mormon and paid over $60 each plus taxes and fees, and were too far back to make out the expressions on their faces. Add in $20-$30 for parking and it's easy to break the bank here. Concession prices were also outrageous. $5 for water? Come on.
Would I go back? Maybe if it was a show I really wanted to see and they weren't performing anywhere else. Otherwise, once was enough for me.
A must see Atlanta landmark! Stunning! Be sure to hear the organ play. Hard to believe anyone ever wanted to tear it down. Great save Atlanta!
Always a nice time, but the concessions could be better. I bought their popcorn once and it was very stale. I went back for a refill during the intermission but it seemed to be the same stale popcorn. It's bad enough that there aren't many choices, but even worse when those choices are poor quality. I
Not enough intermission time for the amount of restrooms verses patron with children.
Never had a bad seat. Ushers are the best. History on display everywhere you look!
I love the fox theatre. it's just the right size for a show. I don't get tired of the decor.
Beautiful theater, but don t to drink anything though. Not enough restrooms for the amount of people the theater can fit and you will have to choose between being in line to use the restroom or missing part of the show after intermission!
We really enjoyed it. This was my first time. I would like to go back.
Watched Trevor Noah in this historical landmark. Good show and great history all throughout the theater...
Not what its hyped up to be. Watery drinks bad food and drug smoking... Bad experience
This is such a beautiful theater. The history and design is so intriguing.
The Fox Theater Is a beautiful place to see plays and concerts
Classic place to go see a show in Atlanta. This place is a fixture of the local culture with lots of history. What most people don't realize it that they also have a summer movie series that is pretty cool. They show classic films at a reasonable price!
This place causes too much traffic! Don t park in my garage and tell your Uber s they can t block the streets!
First time at the Fox after living in GA for 23 years. Wow! What an awesome & ornate venue. The customer service was rather good as well. Felt like a throw back to the ritzy life of the 20s and 30s.
I'm not sure what I was expecting but I was impressed. Even the bathrooms were interesting, in a good way.
Saw School of Rock. Loved it.
Beautiful, historical theater with good seating and friendly staff.
Went for The Book of Mormon, liked it very much. Beer is adequate price, you can drink inside!
This place is beautiful! Vendors are great, security is tight and polite....will visit again
We saw a show there recently in what were billed (and charged) as good seats. We were so far away the faces of the performers were indistinguishable. Generally the sound quality was good for the music, but not for the dialogue. They get good shows there that I would like to see, but in the future will be very picky about seating.
Love this old historical theater from yesterday's generation of classical architectural construction. Great acoustics and stage position made our viewing of Lin-Manuel Mirandas "Hamilton" the weekend highlight for our party of five. One suggestion: go to restrooms as soon as you arrive as the lines at intermission are long. Yes I like this place.
The Fox Theatre is a beautiful. You can schedule a tour to learn more about this interesting venue.
Great venue but the seats are the worst. When you unfold and sit, you sink allllll the way in.
