The building itself is pretty neat. Old school theater with plush carpeting, dim lights and some pretty unique features. Unfortunately there were a few negatives that make me reluctant to go back.

For starters, you'd better get there pretty early because they decided that a playhouse needs airport style security. Full metal detectors, bag checks and random wanding after you've already made it through. What's worse is that there are no actual security guards, just people hired to run the checkpoint, meaning that someone with ill intent could just force their way in. The whole thing is a huge hassle and does nothing to improve safety. It probably makes it worse since everyone has to stack up in a confined space to wait in line.

Second, the sound system really needs an update. Our seats were near the back and we could barely hear what the actors were saying. It was too quiet and there was a lot of echo.

Lastly, the tickets were very expensive. We saw Book of Mormon and paid over $60 each plus taxes and fees, and were too far back to make out the expressions on their faces. Add in $20-$30 for parking and it's easy to break the bank here. Concession prices were also outrageous. $5 for water? Come on.

Would I go back? Maybe if it was a show I really wanted to see and they weren't performing anywhere else. Otherwise, once was enough for me.
