Magical venue ... Moorish columns... Velvet curtains... It's pretty bitchin.
Stunning decor. Beautiful performance of The Nutcracker
Entering this theater is like entering into imagination. Four star acoustics, though.
Absolutely beautiful! The marque is bright and easy to see. The seats are comfortable. They are packed a bit tighter than movie theater seats so be prepared to be bumped as people walk past you.
Watch incredible shows and musicals in a beautiful time capsule of a building from a magnificent bygone age. What's not to love? Oh yeah, the parking.
Took my 6 year old Granddaughter to see Paw Patrol Live and totally enjoyed it.
Even a bad show is good at the Fox. Make sure to ask any usher about it's history.
It was my first time ever being at the Fox Theater with a concert with Babyface and Keith Sweat so beautiful beautiful place I really enjoyed myself
Really enjoyed the Alvin Ailey performance. Excellent performers. It was easy to get inside. Go through a checkpoint with metal detectors and then you can get your ticket scanned via your mobile phone. Quick and simple. Only thing that was annoying was the one white lady security with the ponytail that continued to walk up and down the aisles checking for cell phone use and getting in the way of the show. She did it so often that many other patrons started to whisper about her and give dirty looks. She was a complete nuisance.
I can't think of a more spectacular venue to attend a performance. From the red carpeted entry way to the grand staircase in the lobby to the ornate theater with the star filled sky, my favorite place to take in a live show.
just a great venue. perfect size with a seating capacity that allows for almost every location to have a good view with reasonable acoustics. comfortable and inviting, you feel at home. throughout the year an excellent selection of shows, produced well with professional actors and musicians. quality at a great price. my only complaint is not with the theatre but with the parking. can be hard to find and is often expensive.
The ballroom is a great venue and the bathrooms have a nice classy lounging area.
Patrons however should be told about the security/metal detectors . Added at least 10 mins to get into the Fox which if running 10 mins late you might miss the beginning of your show.
The lion king was breathtaking. The costumes were very colorful. The case interacted with the audience.
Beautiful theater, usually has a good show at almost any time of year. All the seats I've had have offered at least a decent view.
Awesome performance...
Great seats!
Lovely! Enjoyed the play and Marquee Club experience!!
I went to see Rachel Maddow and I loved the experience. Truth matters!
Classic. The venue itself is worth a visit but it is also a great place to watch a show. Arrive early and buying a parking pass with your tickets is recommended.
i am TRIGGERED. this is the most outrageous moment of my life. i come to see the nutcracker, and i buy some SIX DOLLAR POPCORN and this waiter thing DOESNT EVEN FILL IT UP ALL THE WAY. I TELL YOU A FULL 3 INCHES IS UNFILLED. i am outraged. 3 stars.
The popcorn and drinks in the theater kind of took away from the classiness and beauty of the venue. Otherwise it was great.
Such a beautiful historic theater. Recently enjoyed a play put on for students and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
Hamilton tickets always a great experience when attending the Fox theater
The Theatre was amazing from the security to the ushers. The ambiance was perfect. The architecture was breathtaking and The Alvin Ailey Dance Company was "On Point"!
Can't say enough great things about the Fox. I'm headed back today actually!
Fantastic setting for any event. Historic venue with excelent acoustics and not a bad seat in the house.
Just finished see Tyler Perry's Madea's farewell tour! The Fox is one of the best theatres!
I loved the Fox theater. I saw the show Wicked and it was phenomenal. The only problem was that it was chaotic to get to the restroom during intermission. I think there should be a better way to organize the flow of people to get to restroom without the chaos. Otherwise the Fox was awesome!!!
Such a cool place. If you are going to see a show or play, I HIGHLY recommend sitting in the balcony and not on the floor.
Such a historic monument. Its classically breathtaking giving you a sense of history I saw Wicked there and it was amazing
The fox is the fox you pay for historic charm. I went to see the color purple on this particular visit in the show was amazing.
My wife and attended the showing of Wicked, something my wife has wanted to see for a while now. It was a cold night and so the Theatre had the heat on. Once we sat down and the program started it begun to get extremely hot. It was nearing 90 degrees with several people fanning themselves with their programs and me sweating along with everyone else. I talked to an usher that told me they just sent someone to fix the temperature during intermission. The second act started and it continued to get hotter and I could feel the hot air blowing down. Several people around us didn't come back for the second act do to the heat. During the second act my wife and I became lethargic due to the heat and had a very difficult time focusing on the show. I called the Fox Theatre to voice my concerns about the less than satisfied experience and was told that I was the only one to have voiced a complaint and that they were contractually obligated from the actors to have the temperature that high. After stating this, the lady the had answered the phone at Fox Theatre said that there wasn't anything she could do to make up for the dissatisfied experience. Never would I have come close to paying over $200 to go to a sauna fully clothed. Would have to consider very carefully attending any other event at the Fox Theatre, especially with the customer service afterwards.
I love this theater. The performances are always awesome. Seats are great even in the balcony
Beautiful venue! Watched Bill Burr and the acoustics were great and the staff were helpful and friendly. The only negative I can think of would be alcohol beverage cost. $15.00 for a drink is a little high in my opinion. After ticket price of show, parking cost, and high drink prices it really hits the wallet.
Beautiful venue, amazing show and nice employees. Parking for venue is pretty close too
Enjoyed the al green concert here with my mom for her birthday. Great service. Pricey drinks though.
Spacious and easy to get in and out of. Too many folks riding the elevator to the upper levels that don't need to. Needs more ladies restrooms. Very crowded at intermission. Refreshments are very expensive. Still a wonderful experience in all.
Always enjoy events here even though it could use a makeover
Always love seeing a show at the Fox. An Atlanta treasure.
Beautiful theater, great seating, parking is alright, staff is very helpful.
Beautiful experience, every time. The Fox is my favorite Atlanta venue.
A gorgeous place for any musical, play or live music. The fox is a truly awe inspiring peice created in 1929 to look Egyptian as was the style. Everything from the lobby to the bathroom to even the chairs are regel and magnificent. The main theater has a grand organ and has wonderful accustics. The ceiling in the main theater looks like the sky and is usually in the night but occasionally it is sunset. There is never a bad seat, you can see and hear clearly from anywhere. The fox is a must see whether visiting or in town it is iconic.
Just back from a music concert. Management helped me find a place where I couild see the concert with my power wheelchair, and after the encore began, they escorted my entire family to get a front row view of the band. They were so helpful, never complained I was out in the isle, gently guided me to the restroom, and displaced empathy and genuine concern for my entertainment experience from start to finish. The management team is awesome and really go out of the way to help handicapped people, and I enthusiastically endorse Fox Theater for going the extra mile to help someone enjoy a concert. THANK YOU MANAGEMENT AND I WILL COME BACK AND RECOMMEND YOU TO ALL MY FRIENDS!!
Got to see the Nutcracker at Fox Theater. The cast and crew put in a Magnificent performance and I think it was visually stunning and just a wonderful evening. It seemed like #Ticketmaster totally Screwed us on charges, but otherwise a great night.
Was there to see Mannheim Steamroller, and then again to see Manchester Orchestra. The facility is nice, as always could use more bathrooms, but it's fine. The drinks are inconsistent, one jigger from one, two from another, 3/4 from yet another, for $15, come on, pour a dang strong drink. Glad i got to see Manchester Orchestra.
Such a beautiful place!! We went last night to see Mariah Carey and it was the best experience ever. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful!
Much nicer to buy tickets in person and save the extra fees you pay online
Magical place with rich history - built in 1928! Watching a play or a show feels sentimental
The Fabulous Fox. Glorious architecture, wonderful shows. If you're in Atlanta and get the chance, you should at least take a tour.
The concert was good and the Fox is still visually stunning. However, the theater now stinks of stale beer and wine and spilled food. Stop letting people bring food and drink into the actual theater. You are ruining a landmark for no good reason. If you need the extra revenue that bad then raise the price of the tickets. And for God sakes give the theater a THOROUGH cleaning.
Terrific venue. Great seats all around. Fabulous architecture
It is Atlanta's premiere showcase for traveling Broadway. Only issues are expensive and inconvenient parking, and old movie style house not as good for Broadway shows - especially in the cheaper seats, and Atlanta's traditional traffic issues, especially when you are trying to get to the theater around rush hour. If you live in downtown, must be a different experience. I miss NYC Broadway :)
This is my first time at the fox theater! I really enjoyed Dionne Warwick, Denice Williams and Peabo Brison. The theater is beautiful, it has character . Thank you .
Its beautiful the way they remodeled it. When u look up it looks like your looking into the sky.
Every time I go to the Fox theater, the show's are amazing!
Great show very organized and staff was very helpful. Restrooms were surprisingly not that bad. Seating comfortable. Gorgeous venue. What more could one say you can't get much better than the Fox Theatre!
Saw Anita Baker last concert here. Beautiful theater.
This is a beautiful place but the parking is stiff.
Beautiful experience, seating and faculties were good
I've always loved going to shows at the Fox. Be ready for impossibly long lines for bathrooms and concessions during intermissions.
Show as great! Glad I had season tickets and looking forward.to Cats!
The Fox continues to present with majestic grandeur!
Saw the Nutcracker here with the family! Absolutely loved it!
