I just love this venue. Still a gorgeous classic theatre that has retained it's vintage feel despite the years. I would be a regular visitor if I could afford it. Prices for all events are high.

It is without a doubt one of the most beautiful theaters I have ever been too! I have never been to a place quite like it. The ceilings are a work of art onto themselves! I will keep coming back here for years to come.

The FABULOUS Fox! My family and I attended "Madea's Farewell" stage play at the Fox about 2 weeks ago. I love the Fox although there is not an embracing history, black Americans have come a mighty long way from only being allowed in the balcony to hosting performances in front of sold out shows. Never miss an opportunity to attend an event at the Fox. If you're not from Atlanta, plan your visit during a time there is an event at the Fox!

Terrible experience here, one of the employees sold me fake tickets, the staff showed absolutely zero sympathy and didn't even care that the employees are selling fake tickets out of the stage door. Management said there was no way an employee could be doing that, but I met several people who also bought fake tickets from employees, so the fox is making money off of sold out shows and protecting the scammers who do it. Such a greed filled city Atlanta is, I don't recommend anyone go there at anytime ever, the whole city is a toilet and you can't go anywhere with out someone trying to rip you off or ask you for money. Thanks for the worst new years ever fox,

I saw the Atlanta Ballet's Nutcracker there with my girlfriend. It was my first time at the Fox, and I've got to tell you: it lives up to the hype.
The staff were efficient but courteous. They helped us find everything we needed and showed us to the theatre.
When we walked in, I was presented with a beautiful theatre with a story. The stained glass lamps lit the area under the balcony quite well. Then, we went to the front to meet our friend who would be playing in the pit. Then I saw the beautiful night sky scene complete with glimmering star lights in the ceiling!
The seats were comfortable, though a bit close together for tall people. None the less, it was a good show and my girlfriend and I enjoyed ourselves.

Wine suggested by bar maid great. Coming from the NY area where italian food is great this was good. Didnt have my first choice-- one of the daily specials. So settled for chic parm which was just ok.

This is a well-kept theater. The concession employees are very friendly and helpful. The ushers are always ready and willing to help.

You sense the age of the place in only the best ways. It is well-maintained and charming.

If you are taller than average, you may find the seats a bit close, but I've found this to be the case in most theaters.

Always a thrilling show. Warning: they are getting lax about letting people in after the show has begun and tolerating drunk guests. I worry about the future of the theatre if the actors and attendees are disrespected in this way.

The Egyptian Ballroom was beautiful. The food was great. My bartender was great. The bathroom is pretty old and located on the 4th floor which was a tad werid, but it's The Fox, an Atlanta Classic, so it makes sense. Good time at an event hosted there.

We love events at The Fox. Be it a concert, ballet, or a musical, it's always a great time. The food options have gotten much better over time, and there are great food options within walking distance. Most parking is around $20-25 at the site, but depending on the show you can get advanced parking for cheaper. Strongly advise getting there early to get good parking. There aren't any bad seats in the venue; we've sat in the balcony and orchestra sections and never felt like we should've just gotten the Blue ray video.

This is a wonderful theatre! Beautifully designed and decorated. Staff was very nice.

I saw an orchestra, and the atmosphere of the theatre made the experience more magical than it would have been in a regular concert hall. There is gilding and stained glass effects on the walls and ceilings, and staff uniforms are lovely. The staff of the theatre was very courteous and professional, and knowledgeable about the event being hosted, not just their venue. The security check moved swiftly, and they were very patient, even when people clustered around after the event to talk.

Food and drink is available at the venue, though I didn't have any, so I can't comment on the quality.

Tickets and concessions might be pricey, and parking or transportation might take some figuring out, but it's all totally worth it to see a show at this venue! I'll definitely go again.

Beautiful place but....
Now with 1 less bathroom making it even more difficult to use the restroom during intermission if you're anywhere in the front half of the theater (everyone behind you is ahead of you at the toilet).
13 years of season tickets and not motivated to buy again.

Last Show I saw there was the Tedeschi Trucks Band. I was not impressed. Two opening acts, and way to many drunk people.
Security and Volunteers could not control the room. In addtion they were so busy selling alcohol I don't think anyone was policing the theater. People were constantly wandering, and standing, and talking. It was almost impossible to listen or see the band for the number of people going back and forth to pee!! Beligerent drunks were everywhere and people just stood in the isles.
Worst experience at the Fox in 30 years.
My suggestion, stop serving drunk people more alcohol and don't spend 3 hours before the lead act gets on stage. Control the crowd.

I still love looking at the faux night sky. Went to see "Come From Away", beautiful performance from the cast and not a bad seat! The only issue I had is one of the bag checkers popped my hand when she was searching my bag and I was trying move stuff out of the way for her to see things. She's lucky she was older than I was... I don't take kindly to people putting their hands on me. I've been to several shows at the Fox and I've never had that happen...

Went to see Color Purple at the Fabulous Fox. My mother, my aunt and a family friend joined me. The Fox is beautiful, my only complaint is it tends to be cramped and late arrivals are irritating, as you are missing the show with the constant up and down. The facilities are immaculate. There is not a bad view of the stage at the Fox. The play was just alright. A lot of the book's (and even the movie's) power and message was lost on the stage but the performances were enjoyable. The Fox was great the play was ok.
