I had taken my car for an MOT at another garage who failed it on brake pad thickness. I asked Boscombes to change the pads and discs for me but when they took the old pads out they found they were fine so did not change either. The previous garage that had performed the MOT had lied wheres Boscombes were extremely honest. I will be using them again.

Disgusted by the lack of professionalism here. I called ahead on Saturday and was told to bring my car in on Monday or Tuesday morning. When I did so on Monday I spoke to the mechanic who told me to come back in on Wednesday at midday. As we're still in early stages after lockdown I forgave this oversight and said I'd wait til Weds. However, when I did come back he wasn't even there! I was simply told by the perfectly pleasant chap at reception that he had forgotten... For some reason I gave them an opportunity to put this right and left my number, but it's been a day and a half and I've had nothing.
Disappointed to have to write this negative review but 6 days after my first call my car hasn't even been looked at, nor have I had an honest conversation. Suffice to say I've booked my car in elsewhere now.

Five star service brilliant garage and customer service
The turbo went on my motorhome on route to my holidays. Limped to Boscombe garage where the boss immediately went to work. He had a new turbo supplied and fitted by lunch time next day. Excellent service from an outstanding team and all done with a cheery smile. Couldn't fault these guys in any way.

My handbrake needed sorting, and on the morning of my appointment the van wouldn't start. Leo and his colleague came to my street and got the van going (only live a 2min drive away) and sorted the brake for me to pick up the next day. Great communication from the whole team, and they went the extra mile to help me out. Can't thank you enough!
