It was ok, definitely updated on the inside but grundgy hallways and pool was dirty too. The front desk people were nice but not very helpful and different have accurate information and the location is close to universal but the stuff around it was disappointing.

Overall good, but had some details to improve. Breakfast was late, but nothing more. It had almost no hot items, and what was available for pastries was of average quality.
The apartment was generally fine, but the elevator was not working well. The location is very good and easily accessible by car. There are stores within yards for food and essentials one block on International Drive.

Place easy to reach and very close to universal .. the problem is that they did not know or did not know the person at the reception to solve the big problem we had in their room ... the whole room was flooded and part of the living room with water from the boiler ... lots of water
.... The staff's solution was to bring a fan at 11 o'clock at night or we did not pizaramos the water ... if we did not walk .... to demand the minimum a change of dry and clean room the person in charge He refused ... after discussing a lot of time the next day they gave us a room ...

The experience at Enclave was horrible. Everything is old and broken. The toilet over flowed, and our bathroom was all wet! The coffee machine was broken. The one studio balcony is the worst. In their room selection of course they don't mention the balcony is the first floor only for those rooms, all we saw were bushes and it was not fenced in so a man was sitting there one night. When we spoke to the manager regarding our problem, I believe her name was Maria, she said oh I can upgrade you with an additional charge. The fact she approached it that way was horrible customer service. We even requested a higher floor, she kept arguing that they did not receive it. I had an email from a lady and she said oh I don't know what that is, maybe corporate. SOOOO unprofessional. They key wouldn't work several times, and we had to go get new keys. I would not recommend anyone to stay here and I will NOT be coming back.

We stayed here for spring break. Although alittle outdated we enjoyed our stay here. Room was very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. We would defiantly stay here again. Very close to universal.

The water temperature in the bathroom was awful. The bathroom is also tiny and there was hair all over the place. The bed is super uncomfortable. We had left a sign on the door for our room to be cleaned. We came back with the sign on the door gone and the room not even being touched. There was a surprise $50 deposit when we got to the hotel, WE PAID ONLINE IN ADVANCE. Towels had a very strange smell and so did the bed. They also used sheets instead of a comforter. The smart TV didn t connect to their WiFi. The continental breakfast was awful but you could upgrade to a hot breakfast for $7. The hot breakfast still wasn t even worth it.

Drove to Orlando and stayed at The Enclave over a weekend since I was going to Universal and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. In terms of price, location, breakfast and peace of mind, it'll be tough to find a much better deal
1) Price: If you like saving your money and realize you just need a place to stay since you'll be out most of the weekend with the fam or with friends, this is a sweet deal. Just go ahead and get it. Period.
2) Location: The area is very close to Universal and safe to say that on average the price for that area is a higher than Enclaves.
3) Breakfast: Buffet Breakfast...need I say more?
4) Peace of mind: When I read that the building was being renovated, I expected to be woken up by the sound of hammers and electric screwdrivers, but none of that happened. And from the front desk clerks to the cleaning crew to the construction workers, everyone was very hospitable.
I realize that reviews are usually written by people who had a bad experience. I actually have a theory in this case, I think the other reason the reviews are bad is because the older folks are too busy enjoying vacation to write reviews and the younger folks are too busy posting about Universal. Enclave was nice (definitely more of a 3.5 Star Hotel going to 4). I would obviously totally recommend.
PS. If you are going to Universal, there is a bus going to Universal from Enclave...saves you the hassle of driving. You'd spend on a good day about one hour waiting in traffic to park, paying extra for parking, parking then waiting in again in traffic to later. Take a bus or just take Uber/Lyft.

I returned from a stay at The Enclave with my mum and auntie on the 20th May 2016, this is mine and my mum's 4th stay here. All the staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I received a 'Welcome Back' card and a birthday card signed by the manager and all staff which I thought was very kind of them. The room was nice and clean, however we noticed we had no kettle. Reception phoned to ask if everything was okay with the room. My mum said "We do not have a kettle", then 5 minutes later one was brought to our room. Service is excellent. On one day we had no water from 11am until 11:30pm, the hotel apologised for any inconvenience this may have caused and we were given a voucher for a FREE pizza located downstairs in Pizza Hut. The hotel is in a great location on International Drive with loads of shops and restaurants. They provide FREE transport to SeaWorld and Universal parks. They also do transport to Disney's Epcot centre for $12 there and back, where you get the free Disney buses to the other parks. I would recommend this hotel to family & friends. I will be staying at this hotel for future Florida holidays. Another GREAT stay.

If more than 2 Adults and 1 child make sure you get 2 bedroom apartment as not much room but excellent location and basic 3 star accommodation and would definitely go back- 2 adults 14 and 11 year old but only if 2 bedroom apartment available.

The rooms were dirty and very old, we had one that was next to an amusement park and could not sleep of the noise, apart from the noise that was in the room itself (like a motor). The breakfast included is super poor (they do not even have hot milk for the children) and the place seems more like a social dining room, without even a window. The room is not cleaned. The staff is friendly and they speak in Spanish.

Excellent price for a family! Less than fifty bucks a night for a suite with full kitchen and balcony with breakfast included. Bonus points for having a quiet secluded pool apart from the rowdy children's outdoor pool. Double bonus for spa open 24 hours. They lose one star for dingy carpeting. Awesome air conditioning and large comfortable rooms.

Enjoyed stay here and will use again in future. Yes it's a bit older n dated, a few problems with lifts, working then not working. 2 lovely pool areas. On-site pizza hut and little shop. Location is fantastic, just off Idrive. Within walking distance to universal parks.

This place is an absolute dump and waste of money. Mold everywhere, ac broken, and safety certificates expired! We checked out a day early because we could not stand to stay another night. This set the tone for our whole trip and we will NEVER be going back and I will NEVER recommend this dump. I give this place 0 out of 5 stars.

The rooms are nice. The bed is comfortable and has everything you need to make a breakfast or a meal without much elaboration. The heating was not working properly and there were several days that we requested a change of towels and they did not.

While the price of this hotel enticed me to book my reservation here I would have gladly paid more money to stay at a cleaner and more kempt hotel. We found the 1/2 elevators out of service for 2 days and never fixed the out of service elevator. The other elevator was filthy with grimy floors and walls. Our room was not vacuumed and we found dirty tissues under the bed and what looked to be feces on the bathroom cabinet. I would not recommend this hotel to people wanting a great experience but if you're short on cash and need a roof and a bed then this is serviceable. Also hotel does provide shuttle to Universal and Disney World. Would definitely not stay here again.

Food on premises. Pizza hut express and typical american food like burgers and fries.Walking distance to tons of restaurants and shopping. Now the hotel, carpet in hallways were stinky. Automatic door in building 2 did not work, inconvenience to walk in and out with bags. Outdated tv, tv remote worked intermittently,ac would cool only at night they lock it at 70 degrees f. Toilets are small and low to the ground made for kids not adults. New water heater in our unit yet the water would not get hotter than 75 degrees if we're lucky. Housekeeping not once cleaned our rooms or brought clean towels even after we asked the front desk. Best part is the friendly staff and location. You get what you pay for. Shuttles to parks are not free they charge a fee.

Okay.

The staff is really nice but the rooms lacking. Messy remodel jobs or something. We didn't really use many of the amenities since we came to Orlando to come to the parks. The breakfast is your standard hotel breakfast. I've had the same thing at motel 6. The beds were really the worst part.

Bad service, made me wait from 4 to 5:30 to deliver room, the air in the room was not technically sent 5 times and we were not moved from the room. The Frontdesk with bad attitude. Terrible service little cleaning.

I want it done daily!!! I want my bed made daily!!! All the beds where are from Hell..Rooms are Small...
The room sleep 6 B/S.. The table only seats 4 people.. Had alots of trouble working the TV's.. They need flat screen TV.. The lighting was bad..Dim.. Also thank GOD we brought are own powers strips all the out lets half working ! The top plug worked not the bottom plug... we would be sweating every night come to find out the vent in are room was CLOSED.! Clogged!! They need to clean them.. Mainly the people are nice just need a total update.....The front desk should be able to give directions. Didn't enjoy my stay at the Enclave. The television didn't show clear and the water was cold. It didn't even get warm. Checked out a day early and they refuse to give us a refund. Asked to speak with the Manager on duty and she refused to come speak with me. Told us they don't give refunds. We will never stay here again.

Horrible place to stay do not recommend false advertisement through the programs used I booked for different parts of my family and myself and the rooms were terrible dirty old yet they advertise the new ones that they have remodeled but give you the worst horrible breakfast at the hotel in the hotel service next door restaurant has roaches is infected with roaches I complain and nothing was even done about any of the services in the room or any other things that I've just specified I promise you it's a terrible experience unless you pay a high price for the sweets that have been remodeled I do not recommend neither does my family we all stayed in different rooms not recommended

Myself and my girlfriend stopped here for 7 nights as part of a holiday.

We have been allocated room 2111 in block 2. The room itself was clean, tidy and look fairly refurbished. The room is packed with a small kitchen that includes a hob, sink, dishwasher and a fridge.

The bathroom looked tired that could do with a refurbish. The temperature was very inconsistent. One minute would be warm then next it would be cooler than below. The extractor fan was not working, the drain in the bath wasn't draining correctly when showering but we didn't make this as much of a deal. My girlfriend also complained that the room smelt of stale cigarette smoke which we made the front desk aware. Not sure if anyone has been over to spray some air freshener or not but the smell was still there

We also had breakfast at the hotel. The food was great and an excellent selection each day along with friendly staff! No complaints from myself.

The location of the hotel was excellent as only a 5 minute drive from the Universal parks and a 2 minute walk from some of the popular restaurants such as Chili's, TGIs and Buffalo Wild Wings.

I'd definitely recommend this hotel if you want a short distant travel to the theme parks.

Sketchy from the outside. Breakfast was very unorganized, but tasted good. Rooms are nice. Mattresses roll you to the middle of the bed, though so you better know your bed partner well!

If you are looking for a comfortable, clean place to stay find another hotel. Not only is this place outdated and DIRTY the complimentary breakfast includes toast and yogurt. Nothing else. Buffet style of course but for an additional cost you can pay for an actual breakfast that includes microwaved eggs, fruit, and some other bullsh*t.

It is a nice hotel with an excellent location. Close to everything and with very nice pools. The wifi does not hold well. Soaps and shampoo are missing in the room and you have to ask for them. The living room was also flooded by the dishwasher. But it is comfortable inside everything and it is a very warm and familiar environment, the people who work are very friendly. It's already the third time I've stayed and it will not be the last! Breakfast is not so good, it is advisable not to pay for breakfast and breakfast outside

The rooms were nice enough, but we had a couple small problems. We didn't have a coffee maker and the hair dryer in the main room was not working. Maintenance was happy to replace them of course, so not a big deal. The rooms are a bit dated, but the renovations they're doing are supposedly going to really be a major facelift, which we will look for next visit! The upgraded breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment. The food was slopped together and not worth the money we spent. Would have been smarter to just make it in the room (2 small, nice hot plates), or just head down to the two IHOP's within a 1/2 mile. The beds were a little hard, but we slept well enough. The pools we're very well maintained, and the kids had a blast swimming all afternoon. The staff around the facility were always courteous. Location is a definite plus, being in the middle of the tourist district. We found it very easy to navigate around town from the area. Overall, considering rate we paid, I think it was a fair stay.

Hotel is managed by same company as Lake Buena Vista Resort and Spa but this hotel is no where comparable to that. We booked here instead of Lake Buena Vista for the first time since we were visiting in January and looking for a comparable property with an indoor pool.

Everything in our room was old--in fact, I have never seen a microwave so old in my life. Electrical plug outlets are so old and overused that the lamp plugs barely stayed in them. Televisions, dishwasher, beds, shower, everything is OLD, OLD, OLD. Elevator was so slow, dirty and rickety that we took the stairs everyday. Pool water was cloudy one day and WAY over chlorinated the next. Would not recommend staying here. Positives were free wifi, nice front desk staff, free computer to print boarding passes in lobby, and onsite pizza hut. Major negative was how incredibly dated and old the buildings and rooms were. (Even the luggage carts are barely staying together). I'd look elsewhere if anyone in your family is picky about accommodations--we made this place work for us but only because we were seldom in our room.

Had plenty of amenities for guests, multiple outdoor pools and one indoor. Wide selection in terms of food and convenience store for snacks. One of our buildings elevator was out of service and the one working made a lot of noise and beeps.
There were no towels at the pools but did have random floats to use.

Had a lot of issues here. First thing that put me off was we checked in and the had us talk to another person for the WiFi password and get a breakfast ticket. Well he asked us about attending a special breakfast to try to sell us condos. The cards we were given opened the building but not our room. Got more cards, wouldn't open the building. Got more cards, wouldn't open the building. They did open the room but only after several tries but not consistent. One floor smelled awful. The elevator did not work well. We canceled the room and went somewhere else, which was lovely.

My family and I stayed here in July 2013. They added charges to my credit card when we returned home. These charges were for taxis to and from parks which I paid for in cash to reception staff. I was issued with 2 receipts, 1 which the driver took on the journey to the park and 1 which the driver took on the return journey. I emailed the hotel approx. 6 times and was ignored. I rang and was told someone would ring me back - no-one rang. I got my solicitor to write 2 letters which they also ignored. If you must stay at this hotel DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS, DON'T PAY RECEPTION STAFF ANY CASH AND IF YOU DO GET 3 RECEIPTS. BASICALLY THIS HOTEL STOLE FROM ME!!!!

Absolutely terrible! We walked into our suite turned around and walked out. Dirty, out-dated. Halls and elevator were filthy. Pool area disgusting. We tried to get our money back and the general manager refused and said that our unit had just been remodeled. There is no way this unit had been remodeled within the last century.

We were actually staying in an Airbnb at the Enclave. They have some sort of set up with reception where Airbnb guests have to grab a key and drop it off.

Anyway, when we were leaving we had a day left in Orlando and asked politely if we could have them store our luggage. The blonde women on reception was so condescending and cut us off before we could finish asking with a snappy we don t provide that service for airbnb guests. She immediately input her head down to ignore us so we couldn t ask anything and then answered the phone as we were standing there completely ignoring all eye contact. We walked away feeling so horrible because she was SO RUDE. We went back up, totally stuck on what to do with our stuff and this time the man answered to my husband who asked if they knew anywhere that could help us and snapped a no reply. My husband turned around and the man on reception shook his head at him.... haha. Wow. Another guest came in and they were then overly friendly with them. Little did they know they were also guests of an Airbnb. How I imagine they wished they could take back their kindness at that point.

Worst reception experience ever. Wouldn t stay there as a hotel guest ever, and wouldn t rebook that Airbnb through them either.

Clean place, organized and with good staff. The hotel is old but very well located and with no surprises. It has a good breakfast compared to other hotels and with excellent cost x benefit.
