Great historic hotel. Room was huge, but I think I got upgraded. Comfortable bed, original bath products, and a cigar lounge. Just about perfect. Breakfast was a but disappointing but by then my expectations were pretty high.

Rooms were ok didn't wow me (I had booked a different room but they said it was unavailable the day before our stay due to renovations not being complete) but the service is stellar and the staff was wonderful.

Bathtub was very very very small. I'm rather petite and i felt clusterphobic in it lol

Overall not a bad place to stay at all would probably come back.

The hotel is beautifully appointed. Very classic feel. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. There are multiple bars and a good restaurant right on site. And the location is convenient.

Still the best! First let's talk about the service which in my opinion it's the most important part of hospitality it can make or break an experience no matter the location or amenities of the destination. The Brown Palace's staff exceeded my expectations of quality service. Everything from selecting the right room after I set the reservation to making special accommodations for high tea for a special birthday experience. At every turn where quality genuine service was expected it was delivered with white gloves. Amazing staff ! Seth was especially helpful during our stay.
Best location for a downtown stay at a beautiful historic hotel. Set your reservation for high tea it's incredible! The unique historic ambiance, the classic piano player, the delightful tea and fill of delicious snacks made this one of the best birthdays ever for my partner .

Had our annual xmas eve lunch at the Ships Tav., Great last year, not so good this year. Service was excellent, but prime rib dry, over booked. Atmosphere was loud, and people bumping into you while you ate. too small for the number of dinners, and large groups. table for two's were exposed and restricted.

This was my 3rd time going for afternoon tea during the holidays. It never disappoints. The finger sandwiches are delicious and they provide you with plenty. The scones are hot and come with plenty of butter and jelly. I'm not much of a dessert person but there is a good variety of sweets and everyone will find something they like. There is a good selection of teas. Try the Christmas tea. Every year they have a harp or piano player which is a nice touch. The only recommendation I can give is to ask for a proper table. Sometimes they sit you at a coffee table or on couches and it can be awkward or uncomfortable.

This is an amazing hotel. High tea in the afternoon, 3 restaurant to choose from and a spa. Get the signature massage, 80 minutes and ask for Richard, he is amazing. Loved the little fact plaques spread areound the hotel telling you the history. This is an older building so you will hear noise from the hallways, but the charm far outweighs the inconvenience.

I love this place. It is gorgeous and the rooms are beautiful. However, I was disappointed by the cigarette or cigar smoke that was persistent in the hallway outside of my room on the 5th floor. I was very upset by the response to the request to be moved from my room, when the front desk very quickly said, but is it smelling in your room? It was clear that they've had this issue before and were trained to try and get you to accept the fact that you would walk through that smell EVERY time you went to your room. They finally relented and did switch our room, but only after I decided to get very clear with them that I wasn't going to stay in that room. What a disappointment.

Had a fantastic stay here! The burger was so nice I had it twice. Estelle from room service was fantastic as was princess at the front desk.
All of the staff was quality. I felt welcomed and had all the comforts I could need. Highly recommend this hotel! And will be coming back. Parking is pricy but expected I guess..

The Brown Palace is like a step back in time. The hotel is gorgeous and steeped in Colorado history. For a Colorado local who loves history and a certain elegant luxury, there's no other option than The Brown Palace. This Hotel and Spa certainly stands apart from any other and will be a memorable part of your trip.

Luxurious spa experiences abound, the in this "old money" landmark Denver building, The Brown Palace Hotel. Multiple United States Presidents and The Beatles have all stayed at this historic hotel in the heart of downtown Denver. What more needs to be said.....

I ate at the Brown Palace Hotel. It was great food but the service was bad. The individual who was serving us for some reason stopped coming to our table. We waited 15 minutes just to get our check.

The High Tea offered at The Brown Palace is all that it's hyped-up to be. The tea was awesome, and so was the Victorian spread! The piano music was splendid and they were very accommodating about a food allergy in our group, and went above and beyond with that. Even though it's pricey it is well worth it for a special event. We loved it there!

The Brown Palace - Historic Splendor in Denver.

Once you enter the Brown Palace you will fell its vintage ambiance and VIP service. It makes no difference if you are a Prince or Pauper, they treat you as Royalty.

We met out of town friends for some beverages in the early evening at the Cigar Bar. We listened to the live 3 piece band while we sipped the beverages of our choice. Their cigar offering is extensive and they are sure to have something that you will enjoy.

Be sure to make it here you will be glad you did It truly is a step back in time to the glorious days.

Great building and lots of places within walking distance. Make sure to stay at least two or three days to really see everything. Only thing I had is parking. Valet if you can afford it-kind of high.

We absolutely love this place! When we checked and the people were so nice and made it exceptionally easy. I am so sorry I didn t write down their name......We had a blast staying here, just the history behind it is so fun. You should look it up for yourself and read the history on it because it was built in the 1800s.

We used to go here years ago one of my favorite places was the Ship Tavern. A lot of memories here for me.

Over the years I have met so many people that stayed here for their honeymoon. It is a magical place. I took my mom there years ago for high tea, It s just another special thing that they have at this amazing hotel.

I WOULD recommend people to stay here at least once in your lifetime.

I think giving 3 stars is generous. The hotel is beautiful throughout and there is courteous staff. However trying to sleep with a toilet that refills the tank every 10 minutes, a dropping sink and a dripping shower is unacceptable. After the first night they appear to have fixed the toilet, but the shower and sink continue to drip. Not to mention the sound of a vacuum at 11:00 at night...

We called room service for bottled water, but never received it. We booked a king size bed (for our honeymoon), but got two queens instead. They didn't have a place to hang clothes, nor a dresser, nor a suitcase cot. It was a horrible experience.

Probably the coolest thing I did in the city of Denver. We had afternoon tea and it was super classy and such a great experience. The service was top notch and the piano player was really good too. The scones and mini sandwiches were to die for! I didn't love dessert but for 40 dollars a person I would totally do it again.

Had afternoon tea here with some ladies and it was a great experience. Not very much food and drink for the price but the ambiance and service made it worth it. Definitely a fun and fancy time!

One of my favorite stays. Lovely hotel. Great rooms. Fantastic staff, especially the tea room ladies and gents. And the music! A wonderful 4 piece ensemble plays in the tea room every afternoon. They were fantastic! Highly recommend.

Went for afternoon tea. I got the Fleur de Geisha. It was delicious! The atmosphere was beautiful and all of the food was very tasty. It included scones, sandwiches and bite sized deserts. The service staff were friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend the afternoon tea! Just make sure you call a month in advanced for reservations.

We only stopped in to see the famed lobby and it's glass ceiling, but the staff and hotel were superb. We will definitely stay as guests the next time we stay in downtown Denver.
