Cannot attest to the rooms but the lobby is beautiful with all of its original tile and wood banister and mantels that are well maintained from when this hotel first opened its doors. The lobby also provides fun facts of Denver's iconic history on how it has turned into the Capital City it is today

This hotel was very nice. Our room was clean and tidy. We also went on the historic tour during our stay which was very fun and informative.

Historic old hotel, now Marriott Bonvoy chain. Enjoyed it, neat place to stay.

Faded Glory, The Churchill Bar still welcomes Smokers and has a huge Cigar collection

Very elegant, very quiet. In the heart of the city with lots of shopping, dining, transportation, and COFFEE. Every block has a coffee shop of some sort. The Brown is a hotel with character unlike the chains. I stay in a couple hundred hotels a year and this is definitely unlike most others in charm and location. But you pay for it.

Amazing architecture and history. Elegant environment and substantial settings that offer only world class 5-star service and amenities.

Somewhat pricy restaurant, but excellent food and service.

Diego in the spa he s a hairdresser has been working on my hair for over 2 month and I basically just surrendered my hair to him and I couldn t be happier with the results he truly knows what he s doing and is a complete joy to be around would highly recommend

Absolutely amazing place filled with history. Should be a 5 star but please see below areas for improvements@Management.

However, I do want to point out there are certain things that can be improved:
- I was upgraded to their presidential suite, all great & amazing. But the bed has only one decorative cover, and one thin sheet...no blanket and no additional blanket anywhere in the closet etc. (yet there are 6 pillows on bed). So in the end, I slept with 2 big bath towels, my clothes on and bath robes.
- The AC unit can't be turned off. The only thing I can do is to change the temp
- The room with the AC forever on is extremely dry, making my spring allergy worst
- The breakfast is very much below the bar...bagel is very dry, server admits their pastry is not good so they don't recommend it, tea is tasteless (one low quality tea bag in one big pot) and milk is definitely not organic and taste like pharmacy brand
- Lack of certain services, such as iphone charging cable available for emergency use etc. <and I didn't feel they are extremely friendly when I made that request...so when it came to the no blanket issue, I didn't even bother to call>

Beautiful hotel and a perfect place to get a spa service...friendly staff

Went for tea, very good, it was easter and the easter bunny was coming around giving candy, there was a band playing, it was overall very fun.

Beautiful historic property with three restaurants and amenities located in downtown Denver. We stayed here for 4 nights and had an enjoyable experience. Room were clean and bed was comfortable. One thing I like the most is lobby area, so large and well decorated.
I recommend this hotel for everyone who would like to have a great time staying in Denver!

We go to their Christmas tea once a year, and always have a blast! Portion sizes on sandwiches seem to drop every year, but the food is otherwise incredible. I also recommend upgrading to the tea with kir Royale.

The Brown palace is a Denver institution, that seems past its prime. Tea here is still a beautiful ceremony, but as a guest of the hotel, it has not kept up with the times. Our room was very small with a lack of amenities: extra towels, enough toiletries, a TINY refrigerator. The thermostat was broken-ish, the light on the mirror was out and though not necessary, the was no guide on the TV. The staff was very pleasant though, and tea was lovely with extra plates of sandwiches brought without asking. Live music and a jazz quartet were lively.
It's just kind of sad. I love this hotel and have beautiful memories here. Nothing lasts forever unchanged.

Got drinks and cigars at Churchill's. Great atmosphere. Ended up staying much longer than expected because it was so relaxing and easy.

Had High Tea with a friend. Pricey but a lovely experience.

Try the hot pate on dark bread. It's amazing! Melts in your mouth.

It is a nice hotel with history and all the employees of that place are very friendly without exception

Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Old world charm and elegance . Complimentary dessert tray, delicious. Service, exemplary from the front desk to the valets.

The a/c-heat fan never would go off. It sounded like a jet plane engine inside my room. The thermostat read "off" but the fan stayed on. Maintenance came and turned it off. He left and 5 minutes later the fan was back on and never went off. Not a restful night.

Fantastic atmosphere, great service, amazing location. Definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting an authentic and historic visit to Denver.

The stay was quite enjoyable. The ambience and decor are a refreshing walk into the past. Convenient access to a spa, restaurants, and probably the highlight afternoon tea.

We're at Brown Palace ground zero of the Covid scare. I've wanted to stay at Brown Palace my whole life. I remember coming here as a kid and being awestruck with the huge rotunda and lovely shops and restaurants. As an adult, I had lunch at the Ship Tavern years ago, and remember what a pleasant experience it was.

The Covid Apocalypse experience: At first, it was just weird, hardly anyone on the street, hardly anyone staying in the hotel. The two people at the desk were helpful and gave us options for dining because the hotel restaurants were all closed. The initial experience had a bump, because the room they sent us to hadn't been fully serviced. We called the desk, and they sent a bellman up to take us to another room. Partner was freaked out. It was The Twilight Zone.

You'll need a hot spot if you want to use your Roku.

Now to the room...It's spacious, with ample walking space between the two queen beds. There are three huge windows with city views, nothing to write home about, but the Roman shades and curtains/valance are lovely.

I wish I could give Brown Palace and the staff 15 stars.

Partner and I chatted about the experience again today, and plan on returning to Brown Palace when things are back to normal. Our initial plan was to have dinner at Palace Arms and then spend the night. Hope this Covid mess is over soon.

Update: 7 months later and the Covid mess is not over.

Everything is great, except for no bathtubs in the hotel, so can't take a bath

We came here for afternoon tea with a 3-year-old in our group. The servers were friendly and welcoming, plus the tea was delicious! Everyone had a great time.

We had a fabulous tasting in the palace arms restaurant. Newer menu young chef with amazing new cutting-edge ideas in the culinary arts. The tasting plates are like little pieces of artwork that you get to eat. If you like trying different things in one meal this is the place you want to go for elegant and new culinary experience.

Rather posh for two kids from South Philadelphia. Jay was nice and kept our late check-in brief.

The Brown Palace is a Denver icon for a reason. The space is gorgeous and historic. It isn't as cookie cutter perfect as a lot of high end chains, but it has infinitely more character and charm.

Classy, sexy, high end hotel. Perfect for a romantic weekend getaway..

We had breakfast at Ellyingtons, and they made us a tofu scramble for a vegetarian option.

I love this place so much! Tea time here is to die for and it is just such a beautiful hotel with great commodities.

Absolutely amazing historical hotel with a lot of history to explore

Can't believe how much of a rude staff they have. I called to gain some information and was told to "hold on a minute" then placed on hold. When she returned to the line she was rushed and sounded angry, I just wanted to know about parking but she was so curt that I didn't even understand what she said.

I attended high tea at the brown palace. This classic hotel hosts a very nice service. I would highly recommend the palace Grey tea for its light floral notes.

Very nice hotel and amenities. Was disappointed that the room was not ready even tho we arrived well after check-in time (which was 3 pm, we got there after 4:30 on). Room wasn't ready until almost 6 pm. We killed time in the Ships Tavern which was quite nice.

I was very disappointed with the staff working the desk at the Spa. I had made reservations for my daughter and me to have pedicures. Somehow the reservation was lost. They didn't try to accommodate us other than to suggest that maybe we go "have a steam" instead. When we said we didn't want a steam, one of the young girls suggested that we should go to the Four Seasons Spa! I had to laugh. I decided to let the front desk clerk at the hotel know what had happened, and she seemed shocked that the staff would be suggesting its guests go over to the competition. She said she would definitely speak to her manager. I think it would have been nice if the manager had reached out to us but he never did. Guess we will be staying at the Four Seasons next time.

Overall a disappointment. TV s and remotes do not work. Outdated. Try somewhere else.

Always a great time doing high tea
The ladies are professional and charming

I flew in from out of town for a wedding and the brown palace had a very nice feel to it. Not only did it feel clean but it had an early 1900's vibe.

We went for a mother's day tea time, with our two little girls. The staff was so friendly even though our little ones were less than thrilled about being quiet! I was a lot of fun!

Very nice hotel. Although for the price we have visited better.

I always enjoy going to the Brown at Christmas time.

Ive always loves coming here for brunch since i was a little kid. The hotel itself is very old and the rooms are tiny, not the most comfy beds or a lot of space but its nostalgic and frankly cool as hell, my town has a ton of history and that hotel is very much a part of it. so if your looking for a 5 star comfort stay, eh, probably go somewhere else but if you want to be part of the history definitely stay there.

The brunch however is amazing, always fresh flown in that day seafood, awesome ham and prime rib, really just a great selection of awesome food, the desert table wasnt half bad either

Mary is a spectacular operatic gem, who preforms at the ships tavern on Friday nights after 9, and has preformed there for 22 years! Absolutely delightful!

Came here for a stop during a scavenger hunt.. We talked to a few staff and they were all very helpful and personable. Beautiful hotel.

What an experience!! Beautiful bldg., lots of fun and interesting history. Tea and food are delicious. Service is fast and friendly.

Room was pretty nice but watch out for the scalding hot exposed pipe behind the mini fridge, especially with small children. About five minutes after getting in the room my one year old son found the pipe and got very Bad burns on his hand. The hotel manager was apologetic but didn't do anything to fix the obvious safety issue.

Wonderful predominantly art deco hotel, well located downtown. Service is impeccable from checkin to check out, high tea and the best concierge we have ever run across, Bob. Had a nice room on the 8th floor. Will return whenever we are in Denver. Fabulous experience.

Lovely historic hotel in Denver. The rooms are spacious and updated while the hotel itself retains the feel of stepping back in time. I've had high tea there many times over the years and while it's pricey and difficult to schedule, it's completely worth it.

A stay at the Brown Palace is a great way to round out a visit to Denver

Historic must see nice hotel Interesting architecture reminds me of the titanic era. You can order high tea that comes with typical tea type food. Brown palace has a famous bar Ship Tavern with model ships a restaurant. They host several unique events during the year champagne cascade Grand champion steer tea ghost tours etc. We go a few times a year and have always been treated well.

So much for that! Room ok nothing special. Coffee maker in room didn't work ok cool. Just go down and buy a coffee. Hot water in shower doesn't work. Strike 2. Valet the car 20 mins to get out car because the people who check out after us got their car first. Waited over 20 mins disappointedto get our cars.... Terribly disappointed!! Will spend my money from now on with somebody who actually earns it instead of expecting it!
