Great place to see...lots of history and the Tavern is a must see!
I ordered the prime rib done to perfection. Delicious meal in a pub atmosphere.
Spent the afternoon with friends in Churchills. Great staff and a nice atmosphere. The ventilation is solid and while you'll still smell like cigars, you definitely don't have to peer through a haze of smoke. Definitely recommend
Still the Grand Dame of the Denver hotels. It still retails its icon grandeur. Room was very comfortable, the bed was very firm for my taste, but for some it might be perfect. All room amenities were first rate.
But, if you normally stay at hotels at this level, you can't help but to notice that it is corporately run. A flute of champagne is offered at check in. But the flutes were pre-pour, not freshly poured from a bottle chilling in a bucket of ice. It is touches like this tells you that the panache is fading.
Had a quick chat andbciffee before a meeting. Was lovely.
High Tea is a must. Ships Tavern a must too!
Always great for Holidays.
The Grand Dame of Denver, this hotel is an elegant, classic beauty. I visited at Christmas time, and the decorations were gorgeous. The hotel really sparkled. They serve a lovely afternoon tea with authentic Devonshire cream. Tea is served daily, and is very popular. Luckily, they accept reservations! There is an onsite luxury spa (which I hope to enjoy next trip!), quaint flower shop, top shelf restaurant and classic bar. Sunday champagne brunch at Ellyngton's features top of the line champagne selection. Great for a luxurious weekend or special event!
Very festive, lovely Christmas decorations. Tea , scones and sandwiches were delicious. Wonderful experience
Still the best! First let's talk about the service which in my opinion it's the most important part of hospitality it can make or break an experience no matter the location or amenities of the destination. The Brown Palace's staff exceeded my expectations of quality service. Everything from selecting the right room after I set the reservation to making special accommodations for high tea for a special birthday experience. At every turn where quality genuine service was expected it was delivered with white gloves. Amazing staff ! Seth was especially helpful during our stay.
We stay here everytime we are in Denver, both business and pleasure. it's a wonderful hotel, very cozy and elegant. They have excellent restaurants in the hotel and also a bar/cigar room (you cannot smell the cigars from anywhere in the hotel other than the cigar room). There staff is kind and the rooms are clean. They have an excellent tea time during the day (selective days) and they have someone play the piano friday and saturday evenings. It's just a great place. They also have a coffee shop in the hotel which is okay. The hotel is located near a starbucks, shops, restaurants, etc. Great place. The only negative (which is a new and current issue that I've never had before). Due to covid their restaurant hours are limited, no room service, everything in denver closes around 9pm and the experience is highly limited right now. It is not as enjoyable as before, so just expect if you visit now (Nov 2020) you are not going to have the same expeirence at this hotel or in denver in general. We just left and it was a very different experience. Restaurants close early, some businesses aren't open, it seems very ghost town. just fyi. But under normal circumstance, this is the best place to stay.
Wonderful place to stay especially at Christmas time!
Very ornate historical landmark. Service is excellent, as are the amenities. Sunday's high tea is a superb experience of grace and elegance.
Highly recommend Tea with friends. Schedule ahead. Teas, champagne, scones, finger sandwiches, desserts. Relaxing and so much fun!! Beautiful historic hotel.
Loved our stay here. The champagne brunch was outstanding.
Enjoyed learning the history of this eloquent hotel.
Fabulous brunch! Spendy but great with a huge selection of delights!
My wife and I stayed in Molly Browns old room. It was a fantastic corner room on the top guest floor. We loved it a lot. We weren't too keen on the new carpet they installed once the Marriot bought it. It doesn't really fit the hotel. The guest service is fantastic! They really treat you well here. We're going to stay here again soon and use it as an excuse to go to the Spa.
Denver at it's best from the good ole days. Did not stay, just siteseeing
Went here for high tea, the tea detection was great and the food was wondering. 10/10 would dine here again
I I am new to Co and by chance I reside only a few blocks from the Palace but unfortunately have only had the pleasure of going their once.Evidently the Palace is a historic landmark and after going their I can see why. I don't know if I would have ever visited the Palace but a friend asked me to meet her their for drinks. I wish I had more to say but if you have never been their Please do yourself a favor and do.
Old world charm and comforts here..the Churchill cigar bar is something out of the movies..come with a full wallet cause all cigar aficionados will surely empty them soon..
Came here for champagne brunch at Ellyngton's. Huge spread with mostly anything you could want. Very attentive service in a beautifully appointed setting.
Fist thing first, you have to PAY for WIFI.... Okay... Its a "5 star" hotel but my experience was far from. I work in hospitality so I notice the small stuff and thats were they fell short. All lights off upon entry to the room is rather unwelcoming. The room was very very plain. The bathroom was were all the fancy was which seemed out of place only because if how plain the room was. The bathroom sink faucet knobs were smudgy with fingerprints and the outlet cover in the hallway was obviously broken. These things would not matter to me in a normal hotel but at over $350 a night they shouldnt have these problems. Over all their problems are not big but seem that way for the price. I wouldnt stay their again but said real casualy.
It is a very nice hotel. The food is expensive but delicious and satisfying.
Amenity goods of the room are the quality that I want to make a cute souvenir.
Overall nice rooms and interesting lobby area, but some of the rooms are tiny. Would stay again.
We didn't stay here, but you can quietly take a walking tour and they'll happily give you information on the place. We loved it! Beautiful and historic. A nice surprise.
Celebrated my wife's birthday with the champagne brunch. Good food, great music, fun time.
Great hotel, lovely bar. Highly recommended for pre dinner drinks.
Absolutely beautiful! Only there for a bit but the interior is stunning.
Went there for an event. Enjoyed cuisine, ambiance, and service.
It was a great break in Thanksgiving tradition. The Rocky Mountain Trout at the Ship Tavern was amazing!
Fabulous food, service and atmosphere. And most of all, being with my daughter and grand daughter was priceless! !
Wonderful experience. If you have never treated yourself to a night out the Brown Palace is the place to go
Very unique experience. Waiter messed up our change though and didn't bring back the 35 dollars we were owed until we finally caught him and told him what we have him. Otherwise an okay experience.
Took my girlfriend here for a couple's massage on her birthday. The massage was fantastic! Also we were given free champagne (I think because we went in the weekend) which was a nice touch. When I stopped in a few days in advance to book it, the employees there kept talking about other features. They were not very clear about whether they were included in the package I was buying or extra. If I hadn't asked for clarity & held firm, they may have upsold me without me realizing it.
Elegant, timeless, sophisticated... The Brown Palace Hotel is truly one of a kind.
