There is no comparison. The Brown is the preeminent venue for exceptional treatment from cigars to massage. From the bottom to the top you will not find a better historical experience in the Denver area and beyond.

Don't expect any customer service: Had a wonderful Sunday brunch at Ellington's, picked up my car from the valet (but never walked behind it), drove home to find a damaged rear quarter panel. I spoke with folks at the Hotel and Valet about the damages and they were very accommodating and took my information. Today I received an email from their insurance provider denying any claim because I had removed the vehicle from the premises. I spoke with the customer service and the valet again today and both played one against the other and eventually blamed the insurance provider claiming "there was nothing they could do".

So don't drive a nice car to the Brown. Do a 10 point full check of your vehicle if you do. And don't expect them to take any responsibility or have accountability for damages that occur under their valet's care. We won't be going back.

Always a classy place. Whether you're here to eat in one of their restaurants, have high tea or stay as a guest the staff will go out of their way to provide amazing service. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and are always a treat to stay in. I've never had any food here that wasn't excellent and never run into a staff member having a bad day.

I was married here in 2010 and I highly recommend them for their wedding services as well. Their staff went above and beyond from the event coordinator, Mary, to the flowers, the bakery and the spa everything exceeded my expectations. I can only imagine any event done here would go off flawlessly.

Would be a 5 star rating but the shower doors were broken. One roller was off track and the other was missing..

Very nice place, great views and service. The Ship restuarant/bar was understaffed.

Went there with wife just to get a full body massage before we headed back home. It was recommended by friend. So we did the full body couple massage and it was fantastic and really topped a wonderful vacation off. Highly recommend. Anytime really but if leaving def do it before that. Have a great time and the couple massage was very relaxing and the masseurs were very comforting and gentle.

This hotel is the definition of elegance, class and luxury. From the moment you pull up to their professional Valet/Concierge service you know you chosen the right hotel. Impeccably clean and full of history, nothing is lost in the full luxury hotel experience. Highly recommend this location.

This is a historic property with lots of personality. My room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet. I was on the backside of the hotel. There wasn't much of a view but I had little outside noise. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly.

-1 Star because they haven t upgraded the entertainment system. The hotel engineer claimed he didn t have a master remote controller so I could simple change inputs on the TV to use HDMI. It was NYE, and we wanted to play our own music and videos. We instead used a laptop with a bluetooth speaker in the Presidential Suite worth $1500/nt haha.

Stayed one night upgraded our room and had a wonderful night. Every employee was friendly, courteous, went above and beyond, it was clearly all about customer service. We will indeed stay again at this fabulous hotel, it was the first time we have been there all the time we been living in the Denver area for over 37 years. The breakfast was fabulous a must do like the ratings say. Did not do dinner there, but next time we will. Can't say anything more about this fabulous hotel other than you will indeed enjoy!!

The Brown Palace was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The staff was friendly and professional. It's very pricey but you pay for what you get and they do a great job making everyone feel good.

Great location and beautiful building. Unfortunately the staff did not make it feel like a 4 star hotel. Short, non attentive, staff made it feel like a normal holiday Inn. Conceage was a joke. Asked for a reservation and they gave me a number to call, figured they would offer to make one on my behalf. Will probably stay somewhere else this time, even if it costs more.

We called one day ahead to schedule a pedicure and three massages and the staff was easy to work with and super accommodating even with a last minute appointment. We all loved our services and had so much fun lounging in the spa area and sauna before our treatments. After, we enjoyed tea and champagne in the lobby. Service was wonderful, such a treat and definitely an amazing memory on my bachelorette trip to Denver. A must do for a fun and glam girls' day.

You really just go here for the experience, not anything else. The place is beautiful. The rooms are very nice, as expected. It's fun to just people watch as guests come for high tea. The bar is nice but over priced - as expected.

Historic hotel, with a really neat tea service in its famed lobby dining area. With all the unique rooms, it was extremely disappointing in the room selection for an Ambassador level member.

My company planned and hosted an event in one of the reception spaces. The venue is beautiful and full of interesting history. The staff was lovely too. Would definitely consider coming back as a guest.

This is my favorite place to stay when I'm attending events in Denver. It's beautiful, with nice rooms and plenty of options for dining. The only drawback is that it costs $50 for valet parking.

Went there for high tea and was underwhelmed. The tea we chose was delicious (we purchased a tin) but the food selection (scones, finger sandwiches and cakes) were quite bland. We've been to high tea numerous times and in several cities (small and large) in the US, and this was least impressive.

NOT WORTH STAYING AT HOTEL...employees were rude...was told by numerous managers that they would credit the room charge due to MANY issues and a credit for $100, all of which were NEVER done. Tried contacting another manager after the stay and never received a return phone call! But tea was amazing!!

50 years ago this month we were married & spent our wedding night at The Brown Palace Hotel so we decided to spend our anniversary there. What a wonderful experience - the room was super, dinner at the Ships Tavern was delicious, breakfast at Ellyngton's was very good, all the staff delightful - we were treated like royalty!!

I go to the Brown Palace often. Sunday brunch with unlimited champagne is fabulous (make reservations). Pop over to Churchills for a drink and cigar. They have sipping events on fridays 6-8 pm, try different wines, scotch, champagne etc. The staff is exceptional. Give it a whirl!

This is the only place to stay when you're in Denver in my opinion. I love The Brown Palace! The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly. The hotel, restaurants and spa are absolutely superb! My husband and I ate at two of the restaurants on site and enjoyed a spa day. It was so relaxing! We had a wonderful stay!
