My night at the Brown Hotel was more than great. The atmosphere was giving, sharing, and relaxing for what I needed. Great Jets games for the first half.

Good food selection...friendly staff....medium price
Great nights rest! Had our annual Christmas party there last night and stayed the night. Everything was perfect!
The Brown Palace has a great history and was a must see for us when visiting Denver. There is a self guided tour we did while goofing around the hotel in our down time. The hotel has been the accommodations of presidents and stars in the past. We stayed in the Beatles suite.
The hotel has a nice combination of elegance, history and the old west.
We enjoyed our ladies day at tea at the Brown Palace!
Went in for brunch for my anniversary, it was amazing
A beautiful hotel with exquisite interiors. The ship tavern, their bar, was very cool with a lot of model ships and I had a waiter with a very old school style of serving drinks. Overall, it was fantastic even if it was just one drink!
Good customer service and finishes on everything, but it is more a one time experience than a regular place to go. They include a 22% gratuity in everything even for an individual. The room was pretty but old and small as you would expect. The bathrooms appear to have been updated, but, for example, the outlets are so old my phone would not stay plugged. It is clean and the beds are comfortable but that can be (and is elsewhere) achieved for far less money.
A great trip down memory lane of what hotels used to be like. Super service, cugar bar was amazing and high tea worth it. Rooms are small but all part of the bigger experience
Really unique place to stay. The cigar room was excellent, even non-smokers can sit there. Food is good but expensive.
The people were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The view wasn"t good. The room was small which was fine.i called the front desk 4 times at 2AM for a wake up call. No one ever answered. I would stay there again.
OUTSTANDING!!! The Brown Place tops every place in Denver. Their food, is second only to the outstanding customer service. I dont know when I was ever taken care of by so many fantastic people. What a family you have, thank you for making this day so special for my mother. Shout out to Dennis, the grapes made the ice sculpture sing.
The holiday decorations were absolutely amazing. The service is always so awesome. We love the Brown Palace!!
Historic hotel worth walking through the lobby. Rooms are well appointed.
Friendliest and most helpful staff (All of them). Great restaurants, best piano bar in Ships Tavern. John Kite is incredible. Great stay, will definitely be back.
Had afternoon high tea, wonderul food and delicious tea, beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, and wonderful pianist who appreciated our applause and made us feel very welcome and appreciated.
Lovely old hotel in downtown Denver. Only problem with an otherwise amazing hotel is the noise. Very noisy from large atrium!
Food was cold and runny for late night with an hr still left on kitchen time
We went for High Tea in the lobby restaurant. It was awesome. The food is great and the tea is quite tasty. The best part is the ambiance though. The hotel is beautiful and the live piano player really makes it a great experience.
Beautiful interior in a great location. The building history is incredible and I would recommend the tour for any history buff. Drinks cost what you would expect from a high end bar, staff is friendly enough, and they are home to one of the few indoor cigarette friendly lounges in denver for those who parktake in that kind of thing. Overall a great experience.
Go for high-tea. Don't forget to plan a visit during the Holiday, see the Chanpaign Tree or catch a glimpse of the Wild West during the Stock Show
Lovely, classic hotel in downtown Denver...a perfect holiday getaway!
Great atmosphere, only reason for 4 stars was due to our HVAC not working right in the room.
Used the spa. Loved the ammenties and service received.
I've been wanting to see this place with my own eyes. I LOVE it. I was just touring inside. I'll have to stay here next time.
My family just stayed in room 318 no working phone, coffee maker not working, room not that clean for a 4 star hotel blankets on the bed stained room very dusty. My boys said the bathroom smelled like their dog. We wanted to eat breakfast but was told they could not put tables together to make room for 5. I told the front desk about our stay she said I am sorry I am new. Great we will not be back.
Excellent location and wonderful accommodations with the exception that in writing this at 2am because I can't sleep because the temperature in my room won't regulate and it's 10 degrees warmer than I've set my thermostat to.
Amazing venue, great location and staff was very professional. Perfect for drinks or an overnight stay.
Greeted by valet, beautiful entry with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee from their coffee nook. The lobby is breathtaking where guests were getting checked in and others were enjoying their food. As we entered our room I was a bit disappointed. Yes it was clean, had all the amenities, polished decor but it seemed really tiny. The two shower heads and the lavish bathroom definitely made up the downer. The prime rib and deserts Amazing. Probably the best meals I ve enjoyed from any hotels ever.
Relaxing....enjoyed the time with my son and granddaughter. Parking is a nightmare so let the hotel valet park the car for you...free..
Enjoyed lunch in the restaurant. The server was engaging and helpful. The salad was reasonably good but the creme brulee was superb
My Favorite Hotel in Denver Food and Service Always Terrific
The Cruise Room bar was great! The bartender was very knowledgeable and made an excellent cocktail. Other patrons were fun and not at all pretentious.
Enjoyed dinner in the Ship Tavern - great atmosphere, friendly attentive staff and delicious food!
I'm in love with the people here and the overall magic in every detail. Don't miss the brunch on Sunday it's Divine! Ask for Jerome he will take care of you!!
Stayed overnight for Sugar Plum fairies, wonderful brunch
The place is great, and very clean inside and outside, the staff there pretty much cater to you every need. The rooms are spacious and very well maintained, and room service is a little slow but it really didn't bother me that much, and they bring your car around whenever you need it or you can use their shuttle that will take you wherever you wish, but personally haven't used. Over all a Five star experience from a Five star hotel...
The Brown Palace has such a rich history... they don't build them like this anymore.
Wow what an amazing experience for the holidays. Decorated beautifully we were in awe. The room was beautiful I highly recommend a Top of the brown king suite-the tub is huge. Not a jacuzzi but just as good. The beds are so comfortable I felt like I was on a cloud. Quality soft sheets and nice pillows. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The holiday buffet was very impressive and worth every penny. We may have started a new holiday tradition

Attended Easter brunch with some friends. Absolutely loved the layout, the live music, the impromptu dancing, and the wonderful atmosphere. Ordered the iced hibiscus tea, but hot, and it was delightfully sweet. Was disappointed with the food a little bit. I can't digest heavy dairy and they brought me out a special plate of the standard afternoon tea, just with add little dairy as possible in all of them. It was incredibly delicious, but that was it. When I was asked if I wished to have more, I was excited to get another small plate, but got far less that what had initially come out. Was a bit disappointing, but won't stop me from coming back again. The scones were wonderful, though filled with dairy.
This place was terrible! They have no parking aside from valet which is fine if you want to pay $52 a day for parking. The room itself was a claustrophobic 15 ft by 15 ft, and the bed provided the most uncomfortable nights sleep imaginable. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. The dining area was in the center of the lobby which allowed all of the noise to flow up the open air multi level common area to the rooms. So, if you have any intention of talking a nap during the day you will have to do so to the sound of live instrumental music. The safe in our room wasn't even securely bolted to anything. If someone wanted to they could have easily walked out with the entire safe and all of its contents. The room was suppose to have a microwave and coffee maker. It did not. The "refrigerator" was barely large enough to fit 3 or 4 drinks in. Due to the Covid only 2 people are allowed in the elevator at a time. Instead of waiting in line to get on the elevator we decided we would take the stairs up to our room on the 6th floor. However, the stairs were blocked off. We asked why and were told that the VIPs were located on the 2nd and 3rd floor and we were not allowed on their floor. Apparently they segregate "ordinary folk" according to some sort of ancient caste system. Oh, and if you are traveling with small, curious children you should be aware that the vent doors under the windows easily lift up and expose electrical wiring and other A/C components. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Hampton Inn the next block over.
Best place to stay. Make sure you dress to impress. This is not your ordinary Hotel. If you happen to meet Elias Ageree from the kitchen staff, gently tug on his nose with your hand. He is a silly character who does his trait laughter to impress the guests of all ages.
I went to the Brown Palace for afternoon tea and it was a phenomenal experience. The tea itself was perfection and the buttermilk scones were the BEST scones of my life.
This place is exquisite at Christmas time! The front entryway is beautiful, and they have kept much of the old feel of this great Hotel. The oldest operating hotel in Colorado! Dates back to the gold rush and silver barons days.
Honestly, I didn't stay overnight, but a co-worker let me know it's a must-see while in Denver. Spectacular! Cool history, too.
Had afternoon tea with my mum. Very pricey but also very nice. Beautiful setting exceptional service. Good for a special occasion.
Wow! When I left the restaurant I was so relaxed I felt like I had been to the spa! The food was outstanding, as was the service. The glassware was crystal clear and each dish was beautiful to look at and delicious! Such a relaxing evening.
Stopped for brunch one day (well, with reservations that is). Had a great brunch with amazing and attentive service. Live band playing and a great atmosphere.
It's the Brown Palace! Visiting suite of Presidents, and the best museum quality collection of model sailing vessels in the west.
Awesome.
The Brown palace is a great place to visit a really old historic building lots of beautiful detail and everything
Met with a group of people for a birthday celebration. Started in the lobby with appetizers and cocktails while we listened to the amazing jazz quartet. The piano player, John, was a great host and even took time to have a sing along with one of the guest's children who wanted to sing twinkle twinkle.
After the jazz music finished up in the lobby we moved to the Ship's Tavern, where the host of the restaurant was more than a bit surprised at the sudden influx of 20 people, but he handled it well and we were all able to fit. When John started up at the piano we moved over to sing the night away near the keys. Michael (one of our wait staff) was great with keeping track of our drinks and orders and I didn't hear any complaints from the guests. The bar was great as usual and all had a fun, casual, celebration.
The only reason for taking off a star was the price and the hours. The drinks were expensive (to be expected at the Brown) and the tavern closed at midnight, just slightly earlier than I would have liked but also understandable.
Thank you to John and the staff at the Brown for making it a casual and fun night to sing away the night.
Incredible 10th year anniversary stay.thank you brown palace for everything!!
Very old historic hotel smack in the middle of downtown. Only had the pleasure to dine at the restraunt which was wonderful also fanastic staff, but that trip alone left me wanting to make a reservation and check out the rest of what they had to offer
Best in show from the National Western Stock Show in the Brown Palace lobby!
It has very good service and the lunch is delicious. They have good selection. All rooms are very clean and well maintained. It is also close to downtown and has many bars and restaurants nearby.
This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! Everywhere you look there's another amazing piece of architecture or art.
Viron Lewis at the front desk was outstanding with his seamless ability to ensure our stay was breathtaking. Keep up the amazing work!
We did high tea at the brown palace. A party over 5 can only select 3 teas for the table. They bring trays with small items to eat. The tea was very good, their tea selection is pretty wide, but it is either tea or chai, so if you don't like either you're out of luck. Ice tea is available. The hotel is beatiful, the waitress was very professional and was very knowledgeable about the hotel. There is a live piano player. It is expensive, so be prepared for a large bill if you have a big party.
Ship tavern is my favorite spot in Denver. Prime rib is killer
COVID is a contributing factor but.....didn't feel as clean as we've experienced previously. The service was definitely lacking. We've always loved the Brown Palace but likely will look elsewhere next time.
Beautiful architecture and I hear the tea service is great
Had afternoon tea here to celebrate a graduation. The food, service and tea were all top notch, I highly recommend the herbal chai. The atmosphere is also very classy. The hotel has an interesting history as well. It is rumored that an underground tunnel once connected the hotel to a nearby brothel. If you're interested in ghost stories, there are also a few of those from over the years. I visited room 904 which some people claim is haunted by a woman who died while stay there.
