I like the vibe here and the steak is always amazing! This is the place to go when you need a top choice cut
Very nice hotel. It will give you feeling of royal palace. Food is excellent.
Drinks were good and they have live music in the lobby, it was really nice.
Fantastic experience. The building is amazing, the atmosphere is fancy (but not overly so), and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Amber set us up with Dennis who had worked there for 30 years. They treated us like royalty but also friendly like family. Thank you Dennis for the little extras that was like a cherry on top of this divine experience. Great food and great service.
The Gold Room was the perfect size for 20 guests. Thank you! Mary Gemba + Sann Deboutez Hosts GEMBA-ECHKART BRIDAL SHOWER June 24th, 2017
Pricey accommodations for a clean but basic room. Was unable to lower temperature of the room from 68. Hard to find power outlets. Considering this is a 4 diamond hotel, there were no robes. It was an ok room but I expected more considering the price and hype.
While it is one of the older hotels in town, the rooms have been updated recently and are well appointed. Bathrooms, while on the small side, have amazing showers. Staff were friendly. Valet parking is the only option, but often quicker and cheaper to park in the lot across the road. Can get crowded on weekends due to the high tea and great brunch.
Very beautiful & relaxing atmosphere, amazing tea & pastries. The service was professional, all of the servers were welcoming & friendly.
My husband and I have been to Ellyngton s at The Brown Palace hotel a few times for breakfast. The coffee is delicious (one of the best in my opinion). Our favorite breakfast item is the Eggs Benedict. What I love most about the restaurant is the ambience and the quiet. It s such a welcome reprieve from the craziness and wait times of some other great but busy breakfast spots in Denver. After we are done with breakfast we love walking around the hotel. There s so much history and architecture to admire. Will definitely be going back.
Fantastic. The high tea was lovely. Beautiful Hotel
Great hotel that is historic and offers great service
Had the afternoon tea there , the ambience was great and the service and staff were excellent.
Truely the grand dame of Denver. Rooms are well appointed, and on site amenities are excellent. If you are a fan of history, or of grandeur, stay here.
Super friendly staff and the hotel is soo unique and beautiful. The rooms are a little dated but the Suites are definitely exquisite especially their presidential suite!
We attended the brown palace for tea and it was a very enjoyable experience. I am gluten free and they have an entire separate plate just for gluten free to be able to enjoy the tea service. The teas were super delightful, we all traded then back and forth and not one was bad. We ended up buying some to take home. The building is beautiful and we enjoyed walking around after to admire the architecture. A must visit if you haven't.
My daughter in law took me for high tea while I was visiting Denver. What a unique experience. A beautiful place that I would love to visit again. A lovely staff off people!!! Very enjoyable!
Wow! Absolutely stunning and right in the middle of downtown. I wish I could have stayed longer!
Churchill's lounge is one of the last few places of refuge downtown to enjoy a good cigar
Historic character and charm. Step back in time for tea.
The most incredible tea time you can find outside of a meeting with the Queen of England. Incredible music and ambiance. Truly an experience.
Just stopped by briefly but everything was gorgeous would love to come back
The food and drinks were great, but the service was slow.
A first class experience. Try the Tavern downstairs.
Brown Palace is a classy place. I've stayed here a number of times in the last 30 years, and it's never failed to impress.
Restaurants were great room was perfect. But the front desk staff is subpar and don't really care about all if the guest. Was the worst front desk staff i have ever encountered. It comes down to management and it was poor considering the caliber this place should have.
The Brown Palace was a tremendous experience, from the second you walk in your greeted with the sound of piano standards and the staff has my room prepared well in advance of the check-in time. I'm more than satisfied with my stay there and the City view can't be beat! Only a few minutes from Coors Field and close in proximity to the 16th Street bars and shops!
Ate lunch at the attached restaurant. Good food. The Brown Palace Hotel has an amazing lobby. Absolutely beautiful.
I'm a little frustrated with trying to reach someone for a discrepancy on my account. I accidentally was directed to autograph, and a Debra stated I need to call the hotel directly. When I asked for their phone number, she hung up. I will try calling again to get this resolved.
Went there for a holiday party. They started cleaning up 30 minutes before the party ended and took away all the alcohol. I got the feeling they were trying to get us to leave so they could set up another party.
Despite its age, its well updated. Love the character of the place...
Cool with class Did a performance here and the crowd was a #Love #vibe s/o to the chefs 2
The Valet was more than polite. The food is very light, but full of flavor. Live music was there, and they played my grandma happy birthday for her birthday! It was simply wonderful! Everything in the palace is gorgeous and I would highly recommend this to the best of friends!
Amazing historic hotel and tavern. Did not want to leave. Ever! We shall return.
Gorgeous interior! Loved our room. Ship Tavern restaurant inside was amazing too! Great place to stay. Just remember parking cars is expensive in city.
Old world charm, great service, friendly staff, amazing food and a wonderful cigar lounge
The best place to spend the evening with music, dancing and friends. Superb staff and an amazing room.
Me and my wife had a very awesome experience. A beautiful and historical place.
Booked a room with them and had car trouble. Called and they wouldn t cancel the reservation and charged me the full price for the room. Given that I am a high status holder st Marriott and stay around 100 days a year, I would have expected more. Manager was very rude about their cancellation policy. If I find out they resold my room after charging me for it, I will be furious.
Do better Marriott. Hilton would not have treated me this way and I may start taking my business to them instead.
Best cigar spot in Denver. Open late and the ladies that serve know Cigars well.
What a classy hotel, I was impressed. Not only does it drips in historical importance, it still has a Victorian vibe of the late 1800s, without being stuffy or off aloof. Welcoming staff, decor to die for, an awesome bar(s), & the piano, wow... I told my son it felt like walking into the "Titanic" set. Thank you for an awesome stay. I think found my fave place to stay in Denver when I visit my son. : )
Beautiful hotel and tavern! There isn't a happy hour and the prices may seem a tad high, but they're definitely worth it! The drinks are made for sipping, not slamming, which makes them worth the price. Our waitress Molly was amazing! We can't wait to come back!
Beautiful hotel. Professional staff and a good location near 16th Street.
Classic, beautiful, vintage hotel. Exudes Elegance. I could live here!
Was here for a wedding. Food was fantastic, service was wonderful, and the space was really beautiful.
Gorgeous inside and out. Rooms are perfect size and the restroom is well appointed. The breakfast room service was excellent (brioche french toast). Here for a romantic weekend and met all expectations!
My girlfriend and I had high tea in the afternoon, and it was lovely. Live piano music filled the fancy air while we enjoyed a variety of scones, sandwiches, and sweets with our tea. We weren't very hungry so we split the high tea and each had a champagne cocktail. The waitress was a little pushy to get us to both order the high tea, but as we assumed that would have been too much food. Overall great experience, just don't let the staff push you into over ordering for fear of not being "posh".
I didn't stay at the hotel, just walked around. The staff is very welcoming to tourists, and the hotel has a lot of history.
"Mike" at front desk was a complete waste of a human. The check in process was a nightmare as they had a huge line of people waiting to be assisted with only one person helping. Once it was my turn, Mike was doing 4 times at the same time. Got my reservation wrong, the room was not even clean yet, complete disaster.
For the price, I wasn't very impressed with the lunch. Very cool place with a good atmosphere and great service though.
Awesome renovation of a historic property. Very friendly staff.
Luxury historic hotel in convenient location in downtown Denver.
I went to the Brown palace hotel for drinks and dinner and had a great time! The environment was awesome and food was great! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a night out!
Beautiful historic bulding. If you wanna impress your lady, this is the place to do it. 3 different bars, unique suites, AND A SPA. She aint even gotta leave the hotel. Deff five stars
Beautiful hotel, really a sight in itself, but the shower never got hot, there was no place to hang a hand towel near the bathroom sink, and there was no luggage rack to put luggage on. Be prepared for a $50 overnight parking fee.
We had dinner at the Ship Tavern. The food was quite good and the service matched the upscale nature of the hotel itself. It's pricey, but it's worth it.
Still didn't get my free breakfast. Hope you donated the rest to the homeless teens. Thanks to Doyle Robinson of Sox Place, some one got 2 mugs and a pecan pie for the holiday.
