Reasonable room rates when you factor in water park passes in the cost. Would cost $30+ per person - family of 4 works out to room cost less than $100 in Niagara falls with all the extras close by

Great for children. excellent service. Rooms were updated from the last time we were there. Fields restaurant was excellent. Pool restaurant a little pricey but not a deal breaker for us.

My daughter had an amazing time. Went when it was empty. Only thing was the staff kept closing then reopening slides all the time and you would finding them grouped talking. My daughter had fun but would notice the slides were closed. Wave pull was awesome, even for an adult

My stay at Americana was unacceptable most of the staff were not friendly, especially the life guards in the water park, the water was cold. I liked the idea of it being a smaller water park cause my son is Autistic, but I didn't like that the Arcade is close to the waterpark, and I didn't like that we had to line up for the towels and life jackets and sign for them. I was unable to sleep, kids running through the halls, banging doors till 12:30 at night.

Attended a BEAUTIFUL wedding on NYE this year but was seriously disappointed by the upcharged room ($396 CAD). The sink didn't drain, the closet didn't close, the room was unreasonably tiny, and it had a rotten moldy smell.

We will not be staying here again.

We had a little over night stay here. What a great place for a family outing. Nice and clean comfy rooms with better then I expected size for a room. The bunk beds were pretty cool as well for kids. The staff was very pleasant and great to talk to. Was easy finding our way around the building. There are also many restaurants and even a grocery store near by if you wanted to stock up the fridge.
I think the only downfalls, are if you stay in a room close to the arcade/pool area don't expect to go to sleep before 10pm, as the sound from the arcade and people going by drifts into the room. The kids can be loud there. Also the arcade can use a little updating. The games seemed boring even for my 8 year old grandson. Still a very nice getaway. Would recommend for a family to share some laughs and good times.

The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! We checked in today. Our suite came with five waterpark passes. My cousin wasn't staying the night, just coming to use one of our extra passes which I was trying to explain when she asked how many people were staying. She was literally yelling at me and cutting me off while I was trying to tell her. Once I finally got out my sentence of "3 in the room and 4 for the waterpark" she yelled at me again saying THATS ALL I WANTED TO KNOW!!! Well, that's all I was trying to tell her as well! I told her that her customer service was horrible and I was treated like absolute garbage. I considered walking away and not staying but my daughter was so excited. She is having a blast though, which makes this horrible customer service experience more bearable. I will NOT be coming back. It's absolutely disgusting how this woman treats people. Get a different job if your not a people person.

I went there pretty good customer service and loved the breackfast but the reason why I gave them 2 stars is that both of my 2 kids were crying because of the chlorine. Wouldn't prefer going there to anyone.

The resort itself is kept clean and it relatively quiet for a resort geared towards children. They do seem to nickel and dime a bit more than anticipated but then again, it is Niagara Falls. It is the smallest of the three main water parks in Niagara Falls and would recommend it to a younger family. Older children, 10+, would most likely be disappointed.

Not bad.

Not bad.
Not much to do.
Only 4 slides for 42" and above 2 body slides and two tube rides. Only one ride for double riders.
Needs lots of updates as everything is getting old.
Seems over priced in the summer time. Groupon has the best deal around. Even if you contact the hotel directly they can't match Groupon's price. You can pretty much be there for two hours and feel you've done everything you possibly could. The lifeguards and supervisors are chatting it up like it was a highschool dance. They don't pay attention to the kids I found. Seems like they are being forced to be there. Out of all the lifeguards there was only one that was polite. I wish I knew her name as I'd call in and give a compliment. But she knows who she is as I told her.

Onto the rooms
Old office type thin tile carpet.
Outdated everything it seemed.
Gross all in one body wash and conditioning shampoo. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner.

Rooms have a fridge and a microwave which is a bonus. Onsite Boston Pizza wasn't the greatest :(
And we normally enjoy BP.

Exposed wires outside on lamp posts :(

Room was dirty when i came here... hair all over the bathroom. waterpark is O.K. my son loved it but.. i think clorox will burn your eyes and your throat... i thous there was water added to clorox not clorox to water . girls at the front desk are very nice.. that i can rate 5. The bar..their food is awful.. and super expensive. go simewhere else to eat.

Went to the water park and it was small but still fun. It seems like the life guards are always yelling and whistling at the guests. Well for my visit they did.
The waterslides were awesome though...after a long awkward wait. Did I mention it was cold inside as well? I won't go back but I did have a good, brief time there.

Meh

Room was outdated but clean. Towels are tiny and old - need to be replaced. Don t eat at Fields for the breakfast buffet - food was terrible, coffee awful and not worth the price. Do the 7 minute drive to sunset grill instead.

Problems with our room, noise in the vents kept us up all night, as of now unsatisfactory compensation (wife still working on it). Also the dispensers they have everywhere for soap and shampoo are bad. In the shower is a body wash/shampoo/conditioner all in one dispenser and it's bad. I get this is trying to reduce costs and maybe prevent people always taking the shampoos but man that stuff isn't good.

The water park for kids is good, so that's why they get a reluctant 2 stars

It was a disgusting stay at their resort/hell-hole . It is over priced and smells really bad, to say the least. My heat didn't work and I ending up very sick because of it. I implore you not to waste your money at this place its a ghetto resort. They over charge and are not pleasant at all. I read the reviews online prior to my stay and I believed what I read based of several quests stating it was "clean" and stated they "had a great time." I have been around the world, around Ontario and Canada, but this is by far the worst experience of my life.

**********Update**********: I did speak with a manager while I was there and that is who I had the unpleasant contact with. Why should I waste my time to call to speak to someone that is clearly paid to lie? I guess your "resort" employees think their only going to get blind or ghetto guests and no one with hotel staying experience will ever come complain, so just lie online, right?... I ended up staying at another hotel in Niagara prior to my departure and I had an amazing experience there,, thankfully! The other hotel immediately returned my $200 credit card deposit back on my credit card, unlike your "resort" which has still held my deposit and it has yet to appear on my card... I guess I owe Americana resorts more money for my worst hotel experience, right? I may start a lawsuit to be honest, It was that inhuman of a stay...Once again, If your planning to stay here please remember you were warned! Or maybe they will clean their "resort" up for their next guests...

The rooms are fine; nothing fancy. The hotel's exterior could use a face lift. There is a grocery store right next to it, which is very convenient. The Waterpark is pretty nice. I wouldn't pay 30 dollars for it if it wasn't included in our hotel fee though. Overall, it is ok.

We were located on the second floor. All rooms were easily accessible by elevator or stairwell. The rooms were clean but our heater wasn't working very well. It would heat but would turn the room into a sauna and then we would be forced to turn it off. It wasn't a problem during the day since we weren't in the room but at night we had it on, but turned it off when it got unpleasant and we just left it off until we were too cold. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, staff were pleasant and welcoming.

I went to Americana for a wedding show. It was easy to find my way to the event, and I had a great experience. The hotel even had its own booth with pasta samples. The alfredo pasta with pancetta was delicious! Great time, great place.

Hotel is a 3 star. Water park is a 3 star. But the customer service brings it up a star. Ladies at the front desk are amazing and accommodating. Life guards and the people at the arcade are all super friendly. I always enjoy my trip there. Family loves it. Going back in a couple of months. =)

The water park was great, but unfortunately the hotel and our room were quite dirty and we actulay had to speak to the manager about the condition of our room. Overall it was okay but I would double check the cleanliness of your room before unpacking.

Hotel was very nice and large room. Didn't like the booking process as there was hidden fees and cost me more than 200$ than I was expecting. I don't believe that was the hotels fault though.

i just went here like 4 days ago and the staff were nice and also lots of fun things to do and you can get room service but one thing i was surprised there were no cups in the rooms but thats fine im not mad

Overall great experience. We ( two families booked two rooms under one name) took the kids there for some fun and they had so much fun in the water park. I might have had more fun than them. Loved it and wouldn't think twice about going again. Rooms were clean to the touch. Didn't find anything to disappointing there other than paid parking. They catch you with this extra charge. Mini Canada's Wonderland but with much less to offer. Would recommend.

The water park is a lot of fun, and there's a lot about the hotel to like. Unfortunately, most of those things don't involve the rooms. They've got decent amenities, like modern TV's, but these are contrasted by things like the alarm clocks from the 90's.

The most baffling thing of all, however, is the complete lack of accessible power outlets anywhere in the room. There are 2 accessible outlets on the desk lamp, and that's it for the entire two queen mattress room! That may have worked before the days of cell phones and other portable electronics, but we had to start moving furniture and pulling mattresses away from walls just to find enough outlets for our devices.

Overall it's not a bad hotel, and it's main attraction it does well. Just understand that the water park is likely where most of the money goes, not the rooms.

Good place to bring the kids to the water park is fun rooms are nice looking rooms are not the cleanest carpet not vaccumed old french fries beside the bed and night stand, dirt in the dresser drawers second time staying here won't be our last .

Other than the water park the hotel was quite boring maybe if it expanded or there was more facilities in the hotel my experience would have been better, the fitness room was all cardiovascular machines and most didn't work

Went to this resort as it was recommended by a friend for being appropriate for younger children. Oddly enough, the resort lacks some very basic things like ramps at the main entrance nor are the entrances very stroller accessible. The rooms are dated but spacious. Most staff members are friendly and attentive, however, the staff in the waterpark seem aloof. The waterpark itself is a fun time for the family. It's very appropriate for younger children. My daughter just turned 3 and she had lots of options to choose from. The washrooms small and dirty for this level of waterpark. I found this surprising. Also, the family changerooms comprised of 3 small rooms that are located within the arcade in an awkward area. They definitely are not conducive to families. Once again, very strange for a waterpark of this level. In conclusion, I would go back to this resort, however, I would not stay in the hotel. If you go to this resort you must lower your expectations. It is definitely NOT a Great Wolf Lodge, but, it is a cheaper alternative that checks some boxes.

Absolutely overpriced. Facility charged way more because of March break (price gouge)but it looked like they made no effort to staff for the extra volumes of people. Staff were very rude, but I do not blame them, they obviously act the way they do because they are unhappy with their work conditions and not trained to appropriately deal with the public. I would say pool was unsafe due to sheer volumes of people and insufficient life gaurds and by the way it is not just open to the hotel patrons but also to the general public. At one point it looked as if someone was sick in the wave pool but not to worry, within 10 minutes pool was up and running again. This shuts down the pool at my local Y for at least a couple of hours. Halls were noisey in the hotel, room was not the cleanest. Not that I'm picky but honestly I have a sneaking suspicion there were bed bugs as both me and my daughter have weird bites. Having said this we have not been to a professional to get it looked at yet... Never again. Go to Great Wolf Lodge if you want a waterpark hotel. Been there three times and loved it. Serves me right for trying to save a buck.
