Really beautiful rooms. Water park was amazing had a great time here

Was there for a graduation. Everything was set up nice room looked great

The waterpark was decent, it had 4 main slides, a pool and a Jacuzzi. The staff their were friendly. For the most part, the place was exceptional clean. The one thing i did not like about this place though, is that the pools had to much chlorine in them, one of the people who came with us their couldn't see for almost an hour because of how much chlorine entered their eyes when she went swimming in the pool.

Added to our bucket list to go. Kids had fun at the water parks. Not so crowded.

This hotel is so outdated it is pathetic! The rooms smell like mildew and the room even had ants. Not to mention they re making a fortune from people when they don t even supply bar soap and separate shampoo and conditioner..just a pump of all in one in the shower! This hotel should be ashamed! Waterpark only has two slides and a small kiddy section. It is truly WAY over priced and I would recommend anything other than this. Might as well be another motel on Lundy s Lane

Been back already 2 times to swim. My Autistic Son Loves it there.

What a major disappointment we just checked out today. Spent almost 1200.00 for 2 rooms for 2 days. Waterpark is small and geared to little kids and toddlers not older kids. Rooms were dated and our's had a terrible smell. If you are use to using shampoo and hair conditioner or know the differences beteeeb facial and body soap be aware this overpriced place offers you a dispenser on the wall that is suppose to be for your head to toe all in one soap. Breakfast buffet in Fields was horrible, the sausages while brown on the outside were pink on the inside ( I prefer pork cooked, thanks) and a ridiculous price. Boston Pizza was no better. The front end staff were rude and acted like it was a bother checking you in. One lady ahead of me, walked up to the counter on Friday afternoon to this middle aged staff member and she told her to go back to the line and wait for another staff member to serve her even though she was serving nobody. We stayed in rooms 145 and 144 and got no sleep whatsoever. The doors must be hollow core and the walls paper thin. Was ridiculous then an insult to be told the resort fee is mandatory. This is not a freaking resort, it's a run down rip off.

good enough amenities (not great), but rooms are noisy as hell. parking is terrible.

My kids love it there. Staff are great if anything is wrong they fix it right away.

Hotel very basic. No soaps were provided. Had to ask. Only liquid soap did pensers in shower. The pool park was very nice and that's how they get you in I guess

Just a warning to never stay in room 137! Are room door was beside the housekeeping/janitors room; therefor we had to listen to the door SLAM all day and all night and listen to the staff members personal lives. Trying to put a 6 year old to sleep was a nightmare
I did call and complain the first night, which did absolutely nothing, then when we were checking out brought it up to get a oh ok response from the girl wjo could care less about what I was saying

Won t return and we are going to stick to paying a little more and stay at our regular hotel in Niagara

Wonderful staff, service is always extraordinary. Rooms are very clean and spacious, equipped with a microwave and large mini fridge. Water park is nice as well, great for families!

Worst place ever. Very very old outdated. Wont recommend to anyone. Paid for parking???!!! Also someone pooped in the pool so couldnt used pool for rest of day. Crazy.... left this place right after. No wonder its cheap

Location is far from action (10 minute drive to Clifton Hill) but good water park is good for family will little kids. The wayer park, Waves is on the smaller side and deepest pool is just over 5 feet. Rooms are nothing special but ok. Hotel is beside a Freshco so easy to get snacks and meals there vs eating out every meal. Senses spa is awesome--I got one of the best manicures I have ever had from Melanie. Over all good time

Great water park. If you can find a Groupon makes the price easier to digest. The kids had a blast and it made for a very memorable vacation. Tip: bring cash.

the water park is nice, for its size kept the kids busy for hours.
we had young kids with us, 6 and 4, plenty to do for both of them.
the hotel is cheap, as in the furniture is old junk. the whole place needs an update.
the food was bad.
the breakfast buffet was just below the free buffet at any hotel chain in north america, and it was expensive.
Dont do it. Go to Tim Hortons and save your self $50 dollars and get WAY better food.
Boston pizza... big thumbs down. just bad.

Great place for families of all ages! Check in was quick and easy. We made changes to our reservation once we got there with no issues. There is an indoor waterpark, arcade, Boston pizza, and gift shop all on site.

Spent a night here. Check in was straight forward. The waterpark was crowded which is expected. There must have been an accident so the wave pool was closed for half hour. However the checkout was awful. I had a misunderstanding with the front desk and thought they had given us late checkout but they hadn t. However, when we went to talk to the front desk attendant one of the staff pretty much called me a liar. The initial attendant whom we spoke to wouldn t even make eye contact and yelled to another attendant that she hadn t given a late checkout without even looking at us. She pretended we didn t even exist and looked really angry. We just wanted to clarify what the mix up was so instead of explaining the situation all three of the front desk staff members ganged up on us and it was our word against theirs. In the end we cleared it up but had to get a supervisor involved. I don t see a point of behaving so unprofessionally and avoiding customers instead of just explaining the situation. I guess this is what separates them from a 5 stars hotel. For a resort that caters to kids and family they were pretty cold and unprofessional !

I love the clean and spacious rooms. Employees attended to our needs immediately. We enjoyed the waterpark as well. It's our 2nd time here. I recommend this place.

if you make a group booking, there is no notification email. great wolf lodge even send a welcome email. but this hotel did not send the email and charged me no show fee, I even did not know when I should get there because group booking did everything for me. water park is small and not worthy to stay more than whole day.

It was a clean water park, good for early elementary ages. Lots of staff, well maintained.

Just pay a little extra and go to the Fallsview Waterpark.

Waterpark is fun. Wave pool was having issues.. Sometimes it worked.. Sometimes it didn't. The snack bar is insanely priced as are both restaurants located within the resort. Do yourself a favor and bring a portable stove. There's a freshcos next door. We bought food there. My son enjoyed the playground too. Lots of kids to play with. Room was ok. Reason it's just ok... The ac unit would leave the room really humid if u turned it down. Everything felt damp. Patio doors in the room is in rough shape. Some Reno's need doing sooner rather than later.

Stayed for one night, our room was nice and cozy. Only negative was the balcony had a lot of bird poop

We were there for a dance competition weekend. Enjoyed our stay, rooms were clean and staff were excellent. Waterpark is smaller but our kids still enjoyed their time.

Terrible terrible terrible experience. After being at this hotel a number of times, I would not go back if they gave me an option of everything being paid for.
Rooms: not only was it not comfortable it had an odor.. white powder along the edges of carpet (they must have bugs).
Lobby/ hallways: little pieces of garbage not cleaned up.
Water park: staff unimaginably disrespectful.
Called my 11 year old a f***ing Basterd and managers didn t clear up matter. As a grown woman I m not spending money to lie on their 17 year old water park staff..

Our was dirty, (the pillow case was dirty) breakfast was not included, I did not get the room that I reserved.

Rooms are fairly nice. A bit small. Walls are a little thin but not too bad. Good amount of towels and pillows in rooms. Had a good stay.

Most noisy hotel I've ever stayed at. Hotel needs updating to guest rooms. Ball room was lovely though.

I love americana. Especially the spa part. Its relaxing and the people are great.

Overall we we're very happy, and the boys 2 1/2 & 6 had a wonderful time. The water park was fun, but looked a little worse for wear, and could use a good cleaning. The room was clean, but the bed was saggy and too soft.

We had a booking error and staff was very rude to us and didnt want to help us resolve the issue. When we called our credit card company to resolve the issue and they asked to speak to someone at the front desk, the stout lady with medium length straightened blonde hair was especially very nasty to me and told me she is not talking to anyone on my cell phone as it could be anyone. I showed her the 1-800 number on my phone and even then, she refused to speak to them and so my credit card company just made another reservation for my family (with small kids) to avoid further inconvenience to us and told me that they will deal with the staff issues separately. Even after my credit card company made the booking and I recieved the confirmation on my phone and I went up to the front desk again, the front desk staff kept saying that they cant find my reservation. I showed them the confirmation email and then they finally found it and her tone towards me and my family with young kids then changed dramatically. Long story short, my family will not be coming back to stay here. We came to stay for a night to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary and the experience with the resort staff definitely put a damper on the hapoy vacation.

As far as the room waa concerned, there was a muggy smell, the AC was not kept on and everything just looked yuck overall. We were fed up so we just settled for the room given to us, but we will surely not come back.

The water park is small but very well designed and the best park for young children.
My kids didn't really care for the fallsview park but they had the time of their life here. They ended up going on a lot of slides that they normally wouldn't attempt. It really was a great time for the whole family.
We tried the food in the waterpark and I would go with another option next time. There are many places to eat just outside the hotel.
I would also probably skip the coffee stand.
The hotel room was reasonably clean but showing its age. It was perfectly acceptable for the price. We had a junior suite, and traded up to a kiddie suite for the same price. This replaces the sitting area with a bunk bed which my kids loved.
Staff were pretty great. I had a mix-up where my bill was overcharged and the manager dealt with it promptly.
At checkout, the lady at the front desk was not polite and it was awkward. This was surprising, especially considering the issues with my bill earlier.
I will definitely return.
Follow up:
I visited this hotel again recently and absolutely loved it. It was a great experience for the family.
Unfortunately I can't rate this place higher because they have decided to participate in the Niagara Falls parking scam. $20 plus taxes to park and it was free a few months ago. A bogus tourist fee was also charged but at least they were up front about that at the time of booking. When I booked I had to go deep into the fine print to find any mention of the parking charge, otherwise they just surprise you at check in.
The contract stipulated that there would be no other charges but the hotel still took the liberty of charging another $3 fake tax. Didn't feel like waiting in line to get it refunded.
The room was listed at $210 before taxes and came to $290 with all the other fees added.

Food was great at fundraiser but even when the asking 3x of food staff for the glutton free fruits that we ordered ahead of time they never brought it to the serving table....

We stayed for one night. We had no hot water! The resort told us that it should be an expectation during winter months that this could happen. We couldn t bathe our young children. After a lot of fighting they offered us a 10% discount for our next visit to keep me quiet as I was very vocal I the lobby to make everyone else in the line checking in to be aware how displeased we wrre!

Water park is nice. However for 170 a night for a room I wasn't impressed. The room was dated. I asked for a room with a balcony and must have got the worst room in the hotel we couldn't even see outside the window was garbage. The lamp shade was broken the bed was also broken. The last day of our trip there was a bug crawling on the floor.
The restaurant was good typical Boston Pizza.

The Americana resort and spa was very nice to stay in the room was of a good size bathroom was very nice and clean the bed was super comfy and relaxing and the staff at the front desk was very nice and friendly with very good customer service I would very much recommend them to anyone and I plan to stay there again.

We had a great experience!! Stayed April 25 for one night. Every staff member from front desk, waterpark, maintenance, housekeeping and restaurant that we ran into was super kind and friendly. We had room 172 and have no complaints of it. We used Groupon and got a a very reasonable rate. Definelty for younger kids. But we all had fun!!

The hotel was great, containing 2+ restaurants, a small arcade, and a medium sized Waterpark. The rooms were somewhat pricey, but pretty clean and spacious. $15 to park at our own hotel was strange. I would go back, but hopefully on a coupon/Groupon.

Room was clean and comfortable. Waterpark was lots of fun!

Nice place. Small and well maintained. 4 slides for adults, Jacuzzi, small pull for tobblers with slides and water castle with 2 more slides for kids, big pool with waves. Cafe has very limited choices of food. On negative side- extremely small changing room and set up very wrong way. If someone is coming into changing room people from park can see all the naked people inside the changing room. There are only 2 showers in the changing room.

The rooms are very comfortable but the food is very ugly

I m leaving a 4 star review only based on the fact that we made it a day outing and not an over night! As we live in Hamilton I couldn t justify spending that much money for a very dated hotel that I knew my kids would be bored of after so many hours! But we live in Hamilton and the my kids had a strike day so I saw that they are the only water park offering day passes which I thought was awesome! So I packed them up and we came and they had a great time! It still cost me 100 dollars but non the less would spend that at any water park and other than the water being super chlorinated they loved it! It was a nice winter escape they swam all afternoon until 6, we at the Boston Pizza which is offering kids eat free all of March so that was a nice surprise and then we played in the arcade before heading home just in time for bed and they were absolutely exhausted!!! So if you live anywhere close and don t wanna fully commit to a night in the falls I strongly recommend a day trip!!! Much more affordable, change rooms
Are fully equipped and lockers are only a dollar!! My 11 and 7 year old had a blast on the slides and the wave pool and with the basketball nets!! I could relax because it was small enough I could see them wherever I went!! A really nice day!! More of the Waterparks should offer day passes for the Niagara region residents who don t feel like spending a fortune to stay overnight when the falls is just a 40 min drive... so yes for a day trip the Americana gets a 4!!!

OK, it's not Great Wolf Lodge, but it's also way cheaper. It's at least the third time I've been there and it still doesn't disappoint. Staff friendly. Rooms clean. And the water park with slides, wave pool etc., fun for children and adults alike. I recommend.

Great place for younger kids it's good for all ages but I'd definitely say kids like 1 to 12 would enjoy this place the most.... staff is amazing except for 1 manger who was extremely rude . ... I wouldn't recommend eating at the boston pizza wen there busy my whole family got food poisoning from them rushing n not cooking things properly but wen there not to busy they take the time more n it's great.... I will be returning and I recommend trying it out

This location lacks customer service and is in need of some quality training for there management team. I had encountered an incident with a water park staff member that i brought to the attention of there management staff. There response was unbelievable instead of investigating the situation they began telling why this was not possible and indirectly stated that I was lying. There management team spent so much time telling how this was not possible then stating that they did not want to have any problems and for me to continue swimming. I left that conversation feeling as if I had just been profiled as a liar and someone who causing problem's not a customer who had decided to bring her family to stay at there location for Family day. When I asked the manager for her name she stated no, I could have the business card of the owner. No name badge. Overall I suggest if you are looking to enjoy both facilities and relationship with staff find another location as they are not concerned about having you as a repeat customer. Success and customer satisfaction should always be number one!

Dirty old hotel rooms, carpet and furniture is dirty and old. The water park is small and full of people. No coming back to this hotel.

Amazing service .. me and my family had an amazing time

I was very surprised with the value for the money at this hotel. Our room was huge and very clean. Staff was amazing and hotel was pretty quiet. I was worried that the place would he packed and loud but it wasnt. My only negative was that we ran out of hot water one morning. All in all i will definately be back and our kids absolutly loved it here.

This was our first visit to Americana water park. I have been to the fallsview water park quite a few times, but I definitely prefer Americana. It's smaller, but it's much easier to keep an eye on your children. The slides are few, but they're fun. The wave pool has HUGE waves and I didn't find it to be as crowded as other wave pools I've been in. Also, the hot tub is lovely. We will be back!

Totally disappointed with the hotel. Everything was okay but our room. Let me count the ways. First the room was not cleaned-there was a soda/pop can left behind a chair. Second a pair of dirty socks were left. Third the beds were not neatly made. The sheet was not pulled up. Commode was not working properly. Items reported and was told they would be taken care of. Front desk kind of shrugged when advised of these issues. Other than those items everything else was great. Granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed the water park.

Bought a Groupon for this place. Omg where do i begin?... Waterparks chlorine level has to be borderline illegal, seriously. Even the hotel room pamphlets recommend that you don't stay in the water too long due to high chlorine. My nieces hair was like straw , even after shampooing. I didn't go in the water cause I have color treated hair and if it did that to an 11 yr old's hair , mine would probably fall out. I took some of my good quality conditioner and massaged it for 10 min into her hair which made ir softer after and left it in without rinsing it.
Bed sheets had stains on them. Carpet in the room felt really dirty walking on and just in general had a really grungy dirty feel to it. All 3 of us kept waking up throughout the night complaining about creepy crawlers, like there was stuff crawling on us. I didn't see anything per say but it kept waking up 2 11yr old kids and myself through the night like there was bugs... I came home and washed everything right away. Gross place, especially it being a family place with lil ones for the waterpark you would expect it to be cleaner .. Both kids complained that you felt every bump on the slides. My son had scratches on his legs from the waterslides.. I just hope i didnt bring bedbugs home with me! ... Never again!!

Food was mediocre at best, my girlfriend's salad was the easiest thing to make and it was wilted and as gross tasting
