Very fun the waterpark. but in the hotel the service was poor and the receptionist Kristin was rude and unprofessional.

Paid 260 for one night with water park... Should have gone to the skyline instead. Front desk people very stern, no smiles and border line rude. Water park tiny and really not worth the price.

Great place, great staff, great experience. My 4-year old loves the water park. Perfect temperature.

The off-season price is very low, suitable for children, the room facilities are old and the service is very good.

Checked into this hotel (far from a resort) for this past weekend and was thoroughly disappointed. They failed to mention prior to booking that there has going to be hidden fees, which included a $20 per night parking fee.

The pool area was very dirty and all the trash bins over following. The furniture throughout the motel was worn and dated, including the base board heaters. The wall paper on our room was peeling and very dirty.

For the money we spent which was $200 per night I anticipated a Resort. If there was a zero rating I would have checked it. Do yourself a favor and steer well clear from this motel.

The hotel is okay, although a little far from any of the main attractions. I went to this place because of a deal coupon. Would I do it again? Probably if there's another coupon or savings to be had.

Waterpark was fun for the kids. Arcade area was a bit pricey and quite a few machines weren't working.

Pretty good experience but rooms were a bit dated and no ability to rent movies.

The smallest of the indoor waterparks in the falls but better when you have a few smaller kids to loo after. Rooms were clean and roomy. Needed more sugars in coffee station but service was good. No complaints.

Overpriced for the quality of the rooms, room was buget, furniture was old and outdated, smells moldy musty. Beds were just a mattress no box spring seemed to be 20yrs old with springs and lumps. Bathroom had soap dispenser on wall with towels and that's it. Waterpark is not clean bandaids and garbage floating in water, hevyly chlorinated. When leaving water park was demand by attendant to return towels even though my child was freezing. Arcade is old outdated. Food horrible and overpriced same with the Boston pizza was overpriced and frozen food reheated. Will never return to this resort and spread the word how cheap the hotel and the owner. Charged ridiculous charges on bill and taxed on each, wifi, parking and hotel fee extra $70 on top of bill not explained when booking. Wifi was weak and froze half the time. Waste of time and money highly recommended avoiding this hotel.

Very family oriented. Highly recommend it for families with small children as compared to other indoor waterparks. Great service.

I really didnt like the way that the water park emplyees were. You would at least expect them to have a smile on their face, but no, they all seemed very grumpy. Same applies to the employees at the arcade. No friendliness or good customer service skills. Front desk, Boston Pizza, people at breakfast bistro, and cleaning ladies were the oposite. Very friendly and helpful! That was the only plus. I do not recomend at all.

The Waterpark doesn't have long lines and the rooms are pretty awesome! Priced better than other Waterparks as well :)

Staff were great and the water park was alot of fun for my 10 year old son. But the room was VERY humid and sheets felt and smelt like wet towels. The comforter also kept slipping off the bed and was very uncomfortable throughout the night.

The hotel was hard to navigate it had 2000s stylings and the waterpark, the main attraction had a few things wrong, the pool was heavily chlorinated witch lead to a gross feeling later on, and the life guards weren t watching the pool like hawks like I typically expect but they got the job done. Overall it was fine but my only gripes were the waterpark and the layout of the hotel but it did have a good location with a Tim Hortons close and a playground right outside of the waterpark

Visited the Americana Resort due to a dance competition my kids were part of. The place looked interesting. The Waterpark looked nice. The arcade was a bit dated. There was a Timothy's at the front that was good, and Boston Pizza was attached. There was a playground behind the hotel that my kids took advantage of. Overall, the hotel seemed a bit dated, but looked like it could be a good place to spend the weekend.

Not a bad place. The lifeguards are a bit whistle happy. They wouldn't let us simply lean on the wall in the wave pool... But the place is clean and safe.

It's the most dirty water pool I ever saw, I still itching even after one week.

Room on the first floor was good and clean. Not toddler proof though. No outlet covers available at front desk. Bunk beds for kids were metal and very squeaky. Wi-Fi can be very spotty, but it's free. The water park was great and fun for everyone.

We spent a few hours as day pass visitors to Waves waterpark. It was busy but manageable during the Christmas school break. Lockers were in high demand but we were able to find two of the smaller ones to use between two adults and a toddler. Adequate size for boots, clothing, towels, and toiletries (left coats in the car). The individual change rooms were good, water in the shower was warm, and hair dryers in both the washroom and changing area were much appreciated in this cold weather. The water in the pools was a decent temperature and seemed to have an appropriate level of chlorine. Lifeguards were, for the most part, supervising sufficiently. The waterpark is on the small side but for two parents with a toddler it was fine. I wouldn't consider the regular price affordable nor realistic for this particular attraction. We came prepared with discount Wagjag vouchers. Parking was free.

It was relatively ok. I must say it is a nice place but the price is not worth the service and room.

Nice venue but the pool and hot tub burn because of improper chemical usage... I wish I was joking but it's so bad that I can't even go into the wave pool with out choking. Multiple visits all the same. Would be a 4 if the chemicals where right

Place was great. My son had a good time. My only issue was the girl that runs the snack bar. She was rude.

Birthday party with 10 kids. Park is not too big and fun for all. Clean facility throughout.

A good size Waterpark. A few improvements needed in the room (that we stayed at) but nothing vital. Will still go back for sure.

Good water park for a toddler, and having a Boston Pizza attached is a convenient meal option for a family with young kids. Probably not as polished as GWL, but for our family worked well.

Went for the water park through Groupon. Service to redeem our groupon was just 'ok'; however, the greeter to the waterpark where we checked our bags was pleasant.

TheAmrericana hotel is always a great time and experience. There is something for everyone in the family. The waterslides are my favorite, which is why I sneak time away from my kids to go on them.

Our 2 year old daughter had lots of fun. We had fun swimming in the wave pool. The top tube slides were fun for adults being totally dark. Had to enjoy the hot tub while the little one was having fun with mom.
I can understand some people 12yrs + may get bored quickly, but for the price, I even had fun.
Room was clean, beds were too soft. Staff was friendly and helpful
Got and check out extension to noon for no charge.
Had breakfast a block away at scoops. Much better value for food.
Overall, we will be returning. Hopefully with friends and family as well.

i bought this package in Groupon. Nice indoor water park. The staff are very nice to us and our kids. The staff took extra care with my little kid with patient and care.

Arcade haven't change much since I last visit(5 years ago). Extremely short of staff look after there gift shops, Arcade and canteen area. Room was overall clean and tidy, but very squishy for 2 queen beds. There are food inside the air vent of the AC unit. Bed is nice and comfy. Apparently we can get a bigger room with an additional fee, but the price was not worth to go for.

We were suppose to get a Breakfast buffet but were told no buffet during weekday. Breakfast was tasty, but again one person handle the whole restaurant. Nobody help her until she totally overwhelmed by the tables.

The overall experience was not so present with the squishy room and short of staffing in the hotel.

Great water park but rooms could have been cleaner. Also charge extra for parking. Still a good family trip

Ok kids kept throwing up in pool we had to evacuate the chemicals were harsh my kids got rashes and the boston pizza in room service was horrible they took long didnt deliver the right items and charged 24 bucks for a piece if cheesecake because i had kids whining and couldnt get downstairs to grab it they seemed upset they had to bring it to me, i work everyday my time off shouldn't get overcharged or feel guilty plus hotel charged way too much for two days so many fees am not visiting again

The hotel is nice but every time I get a package deal I'm placed on the first floor and it is so noisy day and night. Hard to sleep. But other than that was a nice get away.

First of all, our room was huge and for a groupon deal it was amazing. The water park was small but still a lot of fun! We loved staying here for 2 nights and wished we would have stayed longer. I would definitely come again and recommend it to everyone I know!

The Water park is showing its age but is still fun. The kids loved it.

While the stay was wonderful the inconvenience of it was annoying. After we booked we were informed the waterpark would be closed the Monday. Okay, we will come down early Sunday. I was assured we would be able to check in early and get our park passes. Well when we got there it was a struggle to get the passes. Then we were told our room would be ready at noon. Okay. No problem. We played for a bit at the waterpark and then went back to check in. We were then told our room wouldn't be ready until 4. I got very upset. I had kids who needed to eat and sit and rest and we just wanted in our room. I was told that our room would be upgraded and ready at 2. Fine. We finally got in our room and settled. The inconvenience was enough to bring my rating down to 3 stars.

We had so much fun here. My son who is 7 years old enjoyed the slides and wave pool so much. The arcade was fun and the staff were friendly. Our room was clean and a good size. Only complaint about the room was that there was a street light the shone right into the room and the morning sun would shine in on you because the curtain did not cover the whole window. The window was also covered in condensation in between the glass, not nice to look at. But we did have fun! I would go back forsure.

The waterpark is nice rooms are better than skyline. However, food is horrible and expensive! Dont even try the breakfast buffet if you like eggs; they dont serve real eggs. We will come back but wont eat here!

Lots of fun, great value for money! Water park is lots of fun, wasn't very busy when we were there so lines for the slides were nil. Certainly added to the experience.

Went to an event there, the room was nice however, food venue was terrible and staff were unfriendly and clueless. A staff member told me that they had no idea what the dessert they served was or what was in it .

Great time in the water park some difficulties with correct price. Water wings are not allowed.

We stayed one night. Room was ok but sofa bed was not so comfortable at all...water park is probably about 1/4 of the Great Wolf Lodge water park but considering the price it was ok. overall ok stay but not fantastic.

The water park is smaller than expected and very crowded. Kids had some fun and the slides were cool. The rooms are very outdated and need renovations. The carpet and everything smells like chlorine. The staff at the check in were so rude. When she gave me my room number I asked if it is close to the waterpark. Her answer was let me see what I can do and changed it to another one that's really far from the waterpark. We went there were very disappointed so I checked the other number that she originally gave me and found it was way closer.. b
Not sure why she did that. Went back talked to another lady with arabic tattoo on her wrist and she said I absolutely have no other rooms available come back in thirty minutes and was super rude also. I waited back in the line and talked to a third lady who finally gave me a room that's very close to the pool. So one in three was nice. Be ready to pay $20 plus tax parking if you're staying overnight. They also put $200 on hold till your checkout. One more thing you might need to know we had absolutely no shower gel, shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom . Only scent free soap dispensers. Glad I had mine.

It was a rough day, from pool evacuations, to broken arcade games, and over priced food. I won't be going back.
