I really like this place the food is great the service is excellent not a long wait for food very comfortable

The server did not show up very often at all. It took 2 hours for the full time of food and drinks. The bathroom was disgusting and no one attended to it. Last, the table was never cleared and we were left with server all plates on the table

Bartender made no eye contact and made us wait, wait and wait!

Terrible experience! Start to finish was the worst eating experience I have ever had! Do NOT eat here!

Hello everyone, I would like to share my experience at T.G.I Fridays ( 149 West 46th ST NY ) on February 20th, 2018. While dining at TGI Fridays my mother went to the restroom and on the way back she slipped and fell on the floor I quickly rushed to aid her and notice an oily substance on the floor, the staff quickly cleaned it and posted a cone on it. I was very upset the staff had failed to keep this floors cleaned and very concerned for my mother and elderly woman who was now in pain. I helped her back to the table and we waited for the manager or someone from the staff to at least apologize, and offer any kind of assistance, but no one showed!. Everything continued like nothing ever happened, I requested to speak to the manager who again did not apologize and just asked if I needed an ambulance, I live in France so I m not aware of the laws in the United States, my mother is a legal U.S Resident but had never deal with this type of issue before, I figured the least the restaurant could do is pay for an ambulance ride to the nearest hospital, but no!!! she said the restaurant would not pay for anything. Instead of providing any kind of useful help she started asking people around the restaurant if anyone had in fact seen her fall, REALLY????. It is very sad that an establishment like T.G.I Fridays have such an incompetent and rude manager, with no customer service skills. Most people would probably start a lawsuit, all I wanted was for my mother to be seen by a doctor to ensure there were no issues or potential future issues caused by this fall. Needless to say we paid for our dinner and left. This will be the last time I ever go to a T.G.I Fridays and I will share this experience with as many friends and family as possible.

Okay so my family and I went to this place,we got 2 FROZEN SALADS,first salad was frozen and second, the waiters didn't take manus back so it was all over the tables , soup was over salted, do they ever try it when they cook ??!! I was so upset,especially when waiters didn't even care about frozen salad ,they were like whatever

First time there and enjoyed my time. Good food and cook to the way I like it.

Staff not friendly left a tip for the waitress who then complained it wasn't enough try giving better service to you're customers who are on holiday

They take a while to assist you, in the same way the drinks are rich. The food is good, but it is not the best, it is advisable to take advantage of happy hour.

The guy servered us only came up before we ordered. And then, he was nowhere to be found. We waited 30 minutes to pay for our bill.

We were there around 5 pm and they were very understaffed. The food was soggy. The drinks were VERY overpriced. The only bathroom was down a narrow staircase. At the end of the stairs was a sign that suggested there were problems with people doing drugs down there.

Normal food, high prices, $ 100 a Small steak with 2 side dishes + salad, medium beer and coke

I was looking for a place to chill with my bf before heading to the airport and we stopped here. We had the WORST Oreo milkshakes of our lives. We returned and they brought us back the same watery milkshake that had no Oreos in it and was 90% made of ice. Bad service too.

Liquid lunches are the best for food you in nyc so many better places

You would be amazed being so near Time Square they would have better service... had none of the food items we requested but only alerted after the fact and when ordered a bottle of wine, they also didn t have, and just did not tell us but instead just bought a Sutter Home and started pouring without asking if its Ok.

Poor staff, food very good, but level of ervice was not good, mains brought out while eating starters, explanation was staff going home. Slippy floors, very slippy, greasy floors. Now what I'd expect of a TGi Fridays

The food was good. The bathroom needed cleaning though it smelled.

Great service and food BUT restrooms lacks of hygiene. Not napkins, toilets dirty and really tiny.

Waiter not smiling not pleasant. Lack of sense of trade. We waited a long time before having our dishes.

Staff is very friendly, the bucket of bones were very delightful! I loved it and the strawberry lemonade is to die for.

It was the worst food experience ever. I went there yesterday with my wife. Can you imagine they served Microwave heated mash potatoes and chicken... the food was simply disgusting and the restaurant was unhygienic. I am never going to TGI Fridays ever for anything anywhere...

Went to New York for a short break and visited this place on our first night. Thoroughly enjoyed our food and the whole ambience of the restaurant. Returned 3 nights later for the barman to remember what we drank on our first visit and the waitress to remember what we ate. Amazing, thank you Louis and Amanda. Also the manager came out to check if everything was good for us. Also went to Plant Hollywood, was awful.

Despite other reviews you can't go wrong with their pecan encrusted chicken salad and a draft beer. But tonight the chicken was dry. Still that is something you need to try. Usually the chicken is more moist. I had great service & an enjoyable meal.

It took 45 minutes to get the order and I was wrong. The super dirty facilities! They treated us badly, rude, arrogant. Terrible place

It saddens me that I can only give this restaurant one star because I believe that if I had gone a different day they could have gotten a five star. I went to this particular TGIF once and they pasta was amazing that was I visited them again when I came back to NY. But this time I regretted and felt embarrassed because I took my friends there already talking non stop about them but the service was rubbish. I understand they were backed up that day, and I don't mind the wait. But getting the food and having to wait until the food turned cold before getting my clutleries was not okay. I had to eat cold soggy pasta that I have spent a year craving. My friends were disappointed with the service and we were a bunch of college students that wanted one expensive meal in NYC before we left. That doesn't mean I won't go back there. I will just ask for a different waiter and make sure its not a busy day.

It is always a guarantee of good quality Fridsys, but it is not recommended the one that is in Times Square always crowded and the dishes are not the same as in other TGi

Nice place to have a bite to eat after attending B'way play. Atmosphere relaxing & friendly wait staff. Check it out for yourself.

Service was awful!!!!! We waited so long for our food order to be taken that we changed our minds and left. Smelled good too but we lost our appetites.

My first eating here and I thoroughly enjoyed the taste and quantity of the food. It didn't take a long time to cook and our waitress was friendly and professional and very well informed. I would recommend anyone, tourist or local to eat here. The prices are competitive, they also have lunch specials and coupons which is really great.

Mohamed r is hands down close to the top worst waiters I've ever encountered. Our food was not good at all. It was dry over cooked on the chicken sandwhich and than dry on the french dip. Didn't even ask how our food was to make sure everything was good. Than we went our whole meals without asking if we wanted a refill on my drink. When they delivered the food my side salad wasnt even delivered with the dressing we kept trying to waive our waiter down we had to get up and chase him down to ask for anything. There is much much more but I dont think I need to spend anymore time explaining how bad our experience was. Bad food bad service. Never coming back after that.

Service was horrible. Waited forever for our food. Didn t even get half out good, we were there on a Friday afternoon so that weren t busy at all, I would at least excuse some mistakes if they were busy.

Staff service was incredible and the food was fantastic. Five stars. The other reviews complaining about the wait are clearly tourists every restaurant in New York has an extensive wait, especially the ones near Times Square. I highly recommend this place and cannot wait to dine here again!

If I could give 0 I would! Bossboy aggresif who launches his clothes on the tables and jostles everything, he even bickers with the hostess, in front of the world. I order a medium steak cooking stink, I receive a steak well cooked. My crushed potatoes have "mottons" and whiskey sauce is disgusting. My spouse's burger was ok no more. Price too high for the m *** e we ate. We will never go back, but we laugh so much that it was the worst restaurant we have eaten in our life.

Waitress had too many tables, we never got refills, couple sitting next to us got up & left because they were seated, the waitress never came back to take order. Also, we ordered wings, they weren't done..

My friend and I came in last night which was a Friday at around 7, there was no host at the host stand and I literally had to walk around the restaurant to find someone to seat us and when I finally got sat, I couldn t even enjoy the luxury of eating here because of 30 minutes of sitting down, I hadn t even had my drink order in. Server came to our table after 15 minutes of us sitting down to tell us that the drink specials were only at the bar, okay, so we sat by the bar. No one came to us, no one attended us. So we left and the manager just watched us walk out without even inquiring on why we was leaving after he saw us sitting for so long. I won t be back, like ever.

Not at all crowded at the time I visited. Service was fast and the server was genuinely attentive (heavy rain arrived a moment after I entered, and the server offered me something to cover my head). As a fast food restaurant near Times Square it's obviously pricey, but as a franchise, quality is reliable.

The prices here make nooooooooooo sense. Idk if its because of timed square I've went to a couple of other places and the prices are not that high. Plus for the price it took 20 mins before anyone took my order and the tax is way crazy. Its way better places to eat at if you wanna spend 20 for a burger and 40 for a steak.

Good drinks but food was very regular, the corporative it's so much better

Worst service and food ever do not go there. Also it took over an hour to get food and it was cold. The restrooms were gross and unsanitary. Save your self and go some where else!

In the restaurant in NY where we were, it was very loud from the music. At the neighboring table, an American large family sat 4x, the rest of the kids in all age groups, was extremely what they delivered there ... So to eat, That was ok for burgers and fries for 2 people about $ 60

Food came fast, great service by Amanda. Food was amazing, definitely recommend it to anyone.

Me and my boyfriend are from the UK and this was our last night in NYC before heading back home. We love visiting TGIs and were excited to try it in the USA but were extremely disappointed. Won t be returning again and will definitely not recommend.
Ridiculous amount of money for nothing and horrible service.
Wasn t greeted with a hello or smile or even asked a question, just a hand ushering us to follow a man who was walking ahead quickly, and then dumped the menus on a random table and walked away.
Took ten minutes to even get our drink order, half an hour to even get a drink to our table.
We planned on ordering food and drink but once we were seated decided on just cocktails.
Cocktails were disgusting, worst me and my boyfriend have ever tasted.
Because of this we refused to even drink it at all (we had two sips) and asked for the bill. No one was approachable or friendly whilst we were trying to ask for the bill, and no one questioned why we weren t drinking these two drinks we were about to pay $27 for.
The server brought back the bill and receipts practically demanding we tip her.
We proceeded to say that we just paid $27 for two drinks that we haven t even touched and just want to leave. To which she replied do you think the service was bad? You re not even allowed to be seated on these tables if you re just having drinks, I did you guys a favour .
She spoke with a disgusting attitude and was extremely rude and dismissive.

Terrible the food I ordered a chicken burger and it was raw and even frozen in the middle I told the waitress and I take it off but it is still very expensive it is not worth it

Just No. Drink ordered was not as advertised. Attitude given when asked to make corrections. Then place was empty for a reason. Try another TGIF if you like the chain.

The service was terrible. There was nobody in the place, but it still took forever to get seated. Once we were seated we sat there for at least 10 minutes without them acknowledging that we existed. We ended up walking out. There is a small Irish pub across the street that we ended up eating at. I strongly recommend you do the same. O'Brien's was excellent! Go there instead.

Even though the place was kind of empty the service was slow, the food wasn't that great for how expensive it was ($93 for 3 meals/not including tip) and the place was kind of dirty. I will not be going back.
