I've been going to The Lube with my family for over 20 years. Over the last few years the quality of their food, primarily their wings, has diminished. It's very disappointing as they used to have the best wings hands down. Other food offerings are pretty average as you might expect for a bar and grill. Service is hit or miss. Our latest experience was horrible. Granted we had a party of 16 but our food was cold, our drinks weren't refilled unless we went to the bar ourselves, and my wife had to set our tables herself as our server simply brought a basket of silverware and napkins to our table and sat it in front of her. I didn't blame our server for this whole disaster even though he was clearly overwhelmed. I do however, blame this on poor management.
Waited 45 minutes for food. Drink came out wrong, after the 3rd time they got it right, but we had to goto bar to get it. Waitress was never around, no refills on soda. Ordered well done steaks came out pink and bloody. Wings were pink inside, guessing under cooked. Waited for ever for bill. This plave sucks
I used to LOVE their ranch wings and salad with the ranch chicken on top. Well they no longer carry that ranch sauce so I will no longer go there.
Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. Nuff said
It is a good place for a group of people. Especially for birthday parties. They really work with you to get it set up. The waiters/waitresses are very, very friendly; great service, and the food is good too.
This place has really gone downhill i dont see us going back
I stopped in for lunch a few weeks back. I believe this is the original Quaker Steak and Lube location. The waitress I had was pretty terrific. And the Philly cheese steak sandwich was great (and as it's supposed to be...like the make in Philly). If I go back...I'll probably try the lunch buffet. It looked stacked with great items.
Went in and ate from the lunch menu, I got the steak sandwich and fries. The sandwich was delicious, and for it being on the lunch menu it was a BIG sandwich. I'll be back the next time I'm in town.
Still looking good. I haven't been back to this location in 9 years. Really neat setup. Food still good. They have added more healthier choice items to their menu. They have an outside area.
Service was good food came out quickly, no wait to be seated
Tables are disgusting. Need cleaned or just refinished.
Ate here with my girlfriend and let me tell you the service was excellent. Our waitress she went by the name of hoops was so attentive. My cup was never empty. She came by every 5 minutes or so to make sure everything was good. Food was good order was correct and came out quick. I ll be here more often that s for sure.
Wings are great, but the Biker Chicken Salad is awesome.
This place is no longer good. As soon as I visit the area, I crave wings and I go to Quaker Steak/Sharon. The last 3 visits have been a let down. Is not just a bad night, it's a trend. Something has changed. The wings are an unnatural large size, and very rubbery. The service had been lame. I ordered a bourbon,... Bulliet, 9.00$ $9.00 for Bulleit. That's I price that I would pay in NYC, or Sydney. The wings were actually not edible. I have never not finished my order of wings...but the ladder 2 visits I left 1/2 of my order. Go to BW3 if you are guten free, or any other numerous wing places in the area. Skip this place... the reign of Quaker Steak has ended. I would give 1 or 2 stars, but, I did not want my review to be eliminated!
I was never a huge fan of the lube. The food is good and they always make a good drink but its a bit pricey and for the money there are several other places in the valley that are actually better. It also seems like the service has declined over the years.
Was looking forward to a Lube burger as it was in the years past and was really disappointed. It was not NEARLY as good as it was in years past. Will not be returning for a Lube burger. Service was great, atmosphere was enjoyable.
Love the atmosphere of the original! Great service!
Glad to see the new owners didn't destroy this restaurant as they did to the lube in c town
Electrical storm knocked out power and still had great service. New menu is not as good as original, more trendy and generic food. My "regular" was not as good. Guineas beer cheese is gone. Replacement made with light ale n was no where near the quality if the original. The appetizer antennas are a thing of the past. New owners are nice and have remodeled, but just not as I expected but and food will keep me from returning any time soon.
Our Waiter was AWESOME!! VERY Attentive and Helpful.. we tipped him as Well as He Worked.. Thanks Dominic
Great appetizers and drinks the way we like them! Outdoor music. We had a fabulous waitress by the name of Frankie. She was very attentive and provided everything that we asked for. Overall wonderful experience here!
Wings were delicious as always! Great service also. Highly recommend!
Good food, good service, AWESOME atmosphere. Loaded tots were tasty!
Went for the buffet lunch. Small buffet selection but delicious.
Service was slow and my sisters order was forgotten about.
Great service, yummy food. Looks amazing since remodel, bright and family friendly.
Great good but nothing is on the cheaper side. Drinks are high always
Can't beat the original! Quirky building that isn't far from Daffins! Best wings by far.
The best Quaker Steak and Lube! Awesome service and food. Building is very aged though.
Over priced and the quality of the food has slipped.
Took an extremely long time to get our bill. The server forgot our candy. :(
Had to wait for a table, but I passed at least 10 empty tables, and the service was slow. The food portion was small for the price.
Love our visits to the Lube..... And Johnny took amazing care of us
Very rude fat blonde bartender.... I will never be back!
Best wings around! This is the original Quaker Steak & Lube. Very interesting sporty decor. Nice staff. But the wings are what will bring you back.
This is a must if you're in the Sharon, Pa area! This place used to be a garage and has several rare cars on display, as well as motorcycles and other stuff. The burgers are excellent and the price is very reasonable!
Love the food and the staff. Disappointed that they removed allot of the original decor and have replaced it into a sports bar theme.
Horrible food at high prices . nothing but a terrible restaurant that only survives because the people think dining in a great museum on horrible , overpriced food , small wings , this place has not been good in years. Its simply a bad restaurant in a cool museum. Stop in if you want have a drink , walk around and look at the displays in the museum then leave . 9/10 times they will screw up your order , then take forever to replace it
We waited for a long time for our food. People who came after us got their food first. It was good food and they were not busy.
What happened??!?!?! The food used to be so good and the wings amazing. The service always was great and now I wouldnt even come to this one anymore. Sad. Wish hot rod cafe was still open
The food is good and the service is very fast and friendly. Interior is a dive: old, musty and crap hanging everywhere. The all-you-can-eat line is like pigs eating from a trough. I don't know how it's not a health hazard. The crowd that comes here is very trailer-trashy (which is typical of the area). I only come here for the food.
Good food, good prices. I'm mad they ended they all you can eat wings on Tuesday night's. Lol
The food and service have gone horribly downhill in the recent year. We waited a long time for our food. The one persons wings were barely sauced. We had to ask for refills on our waters and pops and for more napkins from eating the wings.
Doesn't look like your typical Quaker Steak & Lube but the food is the same. Great service
The wings are great as always, but we miss the Tuesday night buffet. Servers are awesome and the atmosphere makes it worth the trip.
Buffet is gone.Prices are quite high.Wings are still good but you get charged 99 cents more for 2 different flavors. Food ok if you wanna pay a lot.
Good wings, solid taste, quality meat, cooked through. Reasonable prices for what you get. Not the cheapest wings, but not all wings are made the same either.
Good food & nice atmosphere. The service was also good.
New great deals on Tuesdays, $10 for twenty boneless wings
Not the same place it used to be.. food is frozen not fresh. Everything is fried.. but beers are cold and they have tv's.
Foods good but prices are totally ridiculous way to high geesh
I forgot how much I enjoyed it. So many great items to choose from. Exceptional staff.
The food was hot, delicious, and served promptly. We'll definitely return.
No wing night, came from Ohio... You'd assume the founding store would support THERE OWN policy.
