Food was decent, server was average, the place is disgusting.
We ate on the 3rd floor... The bathroom was an absolute nightmare, if we'd have seen it before ordering we would have left right away and the rugs have not been cleaned in ages for sure.
I asked my server if my burger was supposed to have a sauce on it because there wasn't any on the burger. In which she replied, "I'm not sure, check the bun." Never came back with an answer or sauce.
Bad, even for a TGI Fridays.

One of the worst experiences in a TGI fridays that we have ever had. No fountain service available, so no mixed drinks could be made. Many customers complained about a lack of service or long wait. The bartender was over whelmed , and still tried to maintain a smile and pleasant attitude! One TGI FRIDAYS I will avoid in future visits!
If I could choose zero stars then I would. The service at this place is absolutely horrendous. We waited over 20 minutes for someone to even take our drink order, and it just got worse from there. Two groups next to us just got up and left, but we stayed out of morbid curiosity.
Server was fine, but they don't know how to cook a steak. Had to send it back cause it was cold in the middle, rest of food was dry. This is why you don't eat at chains. Would of headed the dozens of other places
Wait staff was willing to please even when the restaurant was packed and overflowing! Food, well, it's in TSQ, so expectations were set low, and it passed!
Absolute shocking service !!! We waited 40 minutes for a drink and starter by time our main came it was cold sent it back would never eat there again !!! So unorganised
Got our food, in 25+ mins waiter never came to see if we are okay or need anything. We had to make 1000 gestures to get some help. Oh and didn't offer dessert just gave us the check and walked away.... worst customer service!
This is a franchise so they don't participate in the rewards program like the corporate Fridays.My server was a pretty girl but was very distracted. It was one of the coldest and busiest day of the year,the setup for the ball drop was in progress.The ladies bathroom was a mess! My friends didn't even got straws for their drink (a neighboring table handed them their extra straws)!My coffee came cold and had to be reordered....they didn't have brown sugar!!!!! While one order was wrong ,mine was fresh and hot and I did enjoy it.They had an upstairs area which we utilized for its quiet and spacious aura.We were greeted and seated by a very friendly girl.There is a bar and a few huge TV to watch while eating.Its in walking distance from Time Square as well.Prices were very high compared to what we normally pay in New Jersey.Parking was not available and it's not a wheelchair accessible spot.
When we arrived at the table my chair was soaking wet and the hostess just walked away so I had to clean it up myself. Asked for medium rare steak and was given a dried out overdone piece of meat. The waitress never came back to check on us after taking our order. Not worth the time or money.
Entered it, first off how you send customers to the other floor with out a waitress. Then you bring the food so late that it was warm. Needs some improvement more then the New York Knicks Roster. FOR table of 4 they served 2 dishes at a time like what ? The food tasted like it had no flavor like it was cooked on a Thrusday. Other then that the place is really good. I suggest ordering burgers from Burger King or McDonald's and then serving them to your customers its not like they can tell the difference bewteen these basic foods because FRIDAYS you Basic
Ok, but nothing more. They're playing loud music, like many other restaurants in the area do, but it's quite stressfull. The food is ok, and the service is ok.
The Restaurant was really dark and old. Lack of maintenance. No hostess no manager. It took 25 minutes to take the order. We stayed bc I was with parents (seniors)The dishes served were different from the menu, flavor was Ok. The waiter charge us the price on menu. I did not complain for respect to my parents since the experience was already bad from the beginning . Do not go there. They do not have enough waiters. While there a couple of tables walked away. The manager was probably sleeping in the office while downstairs the waiters were running as a chicken without head...
We came in at 5pm and we were told it was closed when there were clearly people inside of the restaurant who were just getting food. We didn t even get a chance to eat here. Very disappointing.
If it was possible I would definitely give this place zero stars. First my friend ordered her burger with no pickles onions or tomatos and American cheese and medium well. When the burger came it was very pink had nothing but cheese on it when she wanted lettuce with white cheddar. The fries were also cold. She ordered her drink(smoothie) at the very beginning and got it with the check AFTER we reminded them we needed it.
Service was only so/so, incredibly long wait for food & my food was completely cold. Fries weren't fresh, burger also cold. Didn't enjoy my over priced watered down drink either. Will not come back. Highly dissatisfied with my first and only experience.
Worst experience ever!!!! If I could give zero stars I would! First off, our server kept spazzing out over any little thing. It was obvious that he was overwhelmed. Second, our drinks and food took a year and a half to come out! When the food finally came, two of our orders were wrong. And when we told our server about it he said I don t know, would you like me to get a manager . Every time we say something to him, his response was want me to get a manager?! Once we finally speak to a manager, HE DIDN T EVEN CARE! He was avoiding our table. When they brought back one of the meals, it was still wrong! At this point we just wanted the bill and leave. I wanted to taste my cheesecake before we left and the spoon was covered in dried up food! Usually when I have a bad experience, I just observe, keep quiet and simply not return to that place but this time was ridiculous!! I have never had such a bad experience in my life! The food and service was not worth the wait OR money! Mash potatoes was bad, the boneless wings were salty, the cheesecake taste like buttercream, red velvet cake was dry, and the brownies taste like box mix. The only good thing was the fries. Honestly wouldn t recommend this place to anyone!
A one star is giving them too much credit. We waited an hour & half for our food. My kids ordered endless apps, when they order second round they never came. Finally we just gave up, paid, & just left. The food was terrible. The staff was cursing up a storm and very rude. Never will I go there again. I highly recommend you don't either!
Definitely not the best TGI Fridays we ve ever been. Waited so long to order food, waited so long to get food, toilets are in a very bad condition. But for bartender!
Horrible wait staff. No sympathy for the fact my wife and I - with our 10 month old son had to wait close to an hour for our food. The restaurant wasn t even busy. Need some more damn cooks and a reboot on the wait staff. Don t go here with your family.
Worst TGI Fridays I ve ever been too, terrible service. It took over 25 minutes to get drinks alone, the food took over an hour and the sides were missing, the staff was rude about the compliments and then wanted a tip.. it wasn t worth the visit
Such slow service and below basic food wish I didn't have to pay 80 dollars but since I'm a tourist blah blah blah they don't care who walks in but I'm definitely done with chains.
Not as good as other Fridays I've been too unfortunately. Pretzel was undercooked, came out raw. We asked for another one but the same issue happened. Steak was well done instead of medium. However, it might have been a new staff on this particular day as it was late and not too busy. 3 stars because the waiter staff were great.
I would give this place no stars if I could! 3 of us went and if we weren't all hungover and in serious need of food we would have walked away from the table after taking 1 bite of our food! Sooo awful! They ordered plain old burgers and asked for them to be med well and they both came out well done. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and my bread was thicker than the chicken salad inside my sandwich and our bread for all of our dinners was hard and not edible. For the prices we paid for these simple menu items we expected a lot more for the money. Just awful all around. Our server was terrible also. I believe her name was sandy? She never really paid attention to us and we're pretty sure we saw her dunk some kind of dirty item in a man's drink before she served it to him. So awful save the money and go to McDonald's or something!! I wish I could get my money back!
We stopped in for a quick snack. Party of 3. Took a bit to get a host to the stand to seat us. After being seated our waitress quickly got us drinks and took our order. Fast forward to 25 minutes later. An order runner came to our table with a ticket and confirmed our order of the Friday's combo appetizer and the Bucket of Bones appetizer. We then watched the host have a ten minute shift change meeting were virtually everything stopped. We then flagged our waitress and asked about our food. It took about 3-5 minutes after they took our food on a walkabout and our food got to the table. The Friday's combo was cold, not cool, cold. The bucket of Bones was hot. We flagged the waitress down and told her to take the combo back. We didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for it to be remade. Beware... eat at your own risk.
We were there on 12/15 for dinner and the service was horrible dairies for the food 1 hr and it was horrible we had to send back. I won t recommend this place at all.
Hello my dear francophone to avoid all emergency it steals you in tax I got it personally for 45 dollars dollars in emergency fuires for a starter and two main two lemonades and a dessert 145 dollars
This is not a must but good. Room a bit noisy anyway that night. Good location because of Time Square. Nice server. Had 2 burgers and 2 drinks, got $ 57.
Waited over two hours after ordering our food. People around us came ate and left before we were served. Waitress kept apologizing but still not served. Never going to TGIF again.
What a waste of time!..felt sorry 4 the server...they triple seated him..he took 12mins b4 he came over..food was cold..wrong items! NO MANAGER came by at all...he had no help..i bartend in d.c...i would NEVER go 2 this place again..i still tip 25% becz of what i do 4 a living...when we left..they triple seated him again..the two women next2 us ..waited almost 15mins b4 any1 came by...i made the mistake of not reading the reviews...
TGI Fridays great place to eat on 46th street.have a good meal and great drinks.open for dinner ,lunch brunch also.There trukey bacon Avercado sandwich and soup bowel great meal.
The steaks were good, better than the last couple of times I had them at a different Friday's. My wife's dinner was good as well, however we order 2 steaks w shrimp as on the menu and 2 other just steaks(5 of us eating :)) they wrote it up as for steaks and an add on for the shrimp, and the shrimp didn't come until the meal was over. Also never came around for drink refills even if they charge here for refills they should have asked.
Had a great time here with my best friend. We were seated pretty quickly despite the busyness. Waiter was awesome as well and they totally hooked it up with the shots! (Big "shot") The drinks were great too. Not too heavy on the alcohol so you cant enjoy your drink but defintely how i would make my drink at home. Pork dumplings are legit. Steak and mash was awesome as well.
Take out order saved us during the blackout. Place was slammed as it was just outside the power outage zone. Bar staff was friendly and took care of us.
