It's a shame zero stars isn't available! This place is a complete sh!t hole! Please do yourself a favor and avoid this dump at all costs. I'm not a picky eater and I decided to take the time to warn others about this place. Seriously.. . You'll be better off going to bed hungry. Oh, and the bill still came to $100 AFTER expressing our disguist with the management. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!
We were at table 152. It took 20 minutes to get a server. Our server was Mohammad. Terrible service. We ordered the wingman burger were not asked a temperature. It came out extremely well done almost coal. The wings on the burger were cold and miniature. The server did not come around to see how everything was until food was finished and shoving the bill at us although we wanted dessert. When we got our desert he kept harrasing us offering us the bill. Will never come back. Should have looked up the ratings before entering. The one in forest hills is the best one.
As busy as it was service was on point and food was great.
Cocktails were nice and strong however the chicken on the chicken sandwich was dry and chewy
Worst experience ever!!! Don t come here at all. The food is disgusting and the waitress we had was even more disgusting than the food. The waitress basically tried to bully my friend and I to give her the tip she claimed she deserves. We stayed even thought we didn t get a server until 30mins later, we stayed even though my food was awful, we didn t get upset when the waitress tried to overcharge us and acted like it wasn t a big deal, but when she hovered over us after we paid for our nasty meal and left her tip, that was the last straw. We put her tip down and she tried to intimidate us by arguing with us and standing by our table just mean mugging us, thinking that would be enough to scare us to change the tip. Little did she know we are New Yorkers and that doesn t fly with us. We immediately called the manager who took 15 mins to come and we had to find him because he claimed we never called him. He did nothing to handle the situation and that s a problem. Don t come to this place go to Havana next door I m sure they are much better. I will never come back here again even if it s the last place on earth. Useless establishment!!

Although there was nothing that stood out from the other TGI's that I've been to, it did nothing wrong either. Cocktails were good, service was good, food was good. Bit in the pricey side but what do you expect because of its location!
Clean n nice atmosphere. Good hot wings. However the prices are ridiculously high for Friday's. And don't ever order there steak they burn it.
my wife and i couldnt enjoy our food because the air conditioning was blasting down over us and our food got cold. we had to stop eating and took our food home. other customers were complaining about the same thing.

My husband and I had dinner at the location on 46th and 7th. We dined on the 2nd floor. Our server was nice enough but the time it took to get our food was horrible. The restaurant had a few families on the 2nd floor and maybe 10 people on the street level. It should not have taken as long as it did to get our food. We also asked the Manager to change the tv to watch the baseball game and he said no, Big Brother was on and nobody was watching it. The steaks were ok but the mashed potatoes were dry and the broccoli didn t taste good at all. Ive dined at other TGIF a and had great, fast service but this location is just horrible. Will not come again.

We came here one night for a meal as we love TGI Fridays in the UK but here it was freezing inside and was very quite. We go seated straight away and got greeted with out waiter every was fine service was a bit slow but then we had finshed our meal and fancied a dessert whilst we was waiting for him to
come over get our plates he presented us with the bill and apologised and took down what deserts we wanted. We then had to wait a while to get him to come over to then give us our bill. We didn't leave the suggest gratuity that they ask for as i didn't think it was up to scratch for what they ask. We was very disappointed as we usually love our meals at TGI. The food was alright and so was pudding but services was poor.
Ordered and 45 minutes waiting, for 5 burgers and 1 bucket of bones, then food was cold and no soda refills were offered.

Wish I could put negative stars. Waiter took 25 minutes to greet our party and was completely slow with everything he did. No common curtesy or sense of urgency. There were 5 tables on the top floor and the service was atrocious. Never coming here again.

Incredibly rude staff. I went with two other people (we are all minorities) and we got seated in the most uncomfortable spot but when we asked to be seated at a booth they said "They ain't no service over there." However, 2 minutes later a White group was seated there. Then, our server did not come to our table for 20 minutes to introduce herself and take our first orders. She never returned to us and we received our food from another server. We also asked for Onions to not be placed in our food but they put them in anyway. It is a good thing no one was allergic.
The service was horrible. 5 adults 5 children. No other people seated except us..though we waited a whole hour and some minutes to be served. I had to request a manager. Other patrons that came after were served, ate and left. Service was terrible. We will never ever go there again.

Far to expensive. For 2 persons I had to pay $80.00 (tip excluded). Staff was far below level. Food was lukewarm and the fries where soft.

Re-TGIF on 46th between 6th & 7th Avenues in NYC. Jessica the daytime weekday bartender is amazing! Great food and drink happy hour specials. But No WiFi which sucks! Every other restaurant/bar in the area has free wifi so why not them?

The staff (wait staff, bar staff, and cleaning gentleman) were so friendly and cool, which was unexpected for my first visit to a US restaurant.
The food was good, maybe slightly overpriced for wings, but the cocktail was cheap and amazing at $9.
Got some great news while there, and spilled my drink, left a big tip, just had a great time. It was a unique experience as an Australian, and I would love to come back with my family one day to do it all again.

The worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Took forever to get a waiter, forever to get food, server never came by to see how food was. It was just horrible. 30 minutes for a waiter, 20 minutes for drinks and another 30 minutes to get food. Unbelievable
We waited 45 minutes for our food, only for it to come out so overcooked and dry it was inedible, with a plateful of vegetables that were simply broccoli and rice.
The wait staff were awful and the kitchen staff EVEN HAD A BRAWL OUT THE FRONT which they DRAGGED INTO THE STORE AROUND CUSTOMERS. I am not kidding. It was disgraceful.

My burger came out immediately which made me think it wasn't cooked to order and the bun was stale. Maybe it's just this particular establishment but I don't think I will be returning.
Found the food and staff pleasant particularly Karl behind the bar. The same cannot be said for the owner/manager who was horrendous. We overheard him shouting at staff members numerous times during our meal which made us very uncomfortable. I would boycott this location purely because of how awkward I felt having to listen to staff being berated by such a rude man.
Also should add that the wrong meal was brought out to me, I kindly corrected the order which was dealt with great until I saw the receipt which said "customer changed mind". Did not appreciate this at all.
While visiting NYC we decided to eat at TGIF. It was a Thursday night and they were not very busy. We waited 20 minutes before we were greeted and order taken waited another 30 for our food. Both orders we overcooked. Will never est at this location again. I wish I could not give it a star at all.
The service was super invincible. When we sat down, there was garbage from the last guest on the table. The table was not cleaned. When you left, the waiter still didn't ask if you need water and the ribs were dry Recommend this cricket waiter super invincible to explode! No change will be found! Why give stars, the only quick action is to collect your money!

Took ages to get served and bar was empty. Ordered two new york steaks. Were tasty but something cat dragged in just bone and gristle. Not worth the 100 dollars we paid.
I should have known better than to go here after reading the reviews. I went in the middle of the day for lunch and although I was seated very quickly due to the time of day "no one is there" the food was terrible. My potato skins were dry and hard, my pan seared dumplings were dry, hard and crunchy, and my boneless buffalo wings were hard and dry. My food felt like it was sitting under a heat laps for hours before it was served to me. Even the sauces couldn't help put any juice in the food. I will not return.

The service was terrible. We looked as though we were an inconvenience to the staff. My teacher, her 2 kids, and I were subject to inconsiderate and downright disrespectful service. I would not recommend going there if you want good and timely service.

I love TGIFridays, but one thing that reall draws me to them is the Rewards program. I rack up points and I love redeeming Rewards, but this Times Square location on 46th St is not one of those "participating locations". They get a ton of traffic, and they dont need to offer perks or anything...and in fact, due to the location, they can charge much more...like most other Times Square businesses. The $12.99 Big Rib special that is currently going on everywhere else...yeah...$30 here. The food is still good...but expect to pay more. Bathrooms could be kept a bit cleaner, though. They needed attention here for sure.
This location is very busy so expect a wait if you go anytime around key meal hours. The staff here, while they try, are some of the slowest I've experienced in the service industry. I am not sure if it's a skill issue or a workload issue but even things like requesting silverware for the table wasn't an easy task. From the food perspective, it was delivered hot and was delicious.
Read the reviews. The majority - did not recommend. I decided to go in because I was there. Nothing good and bad. Suitable as a bar, for drinkers. Food is ordinary. Weifai does not. There's nothing to drink. Water or alcohol.
Food usual good TGI standard. Service very variable. One night was fantastic, other visits passable - delay for plates to eat food from, no refills on soft drinks offered, wrong meal brought but resolved with no fuss. Vibrant and buzzy
