Today my friend and I were served by Amanda. Now, i NEVER write reviews but she was so kind, genuine and upbeat i decided that id ask her what her name was. Its typical for places to only receive bad reviews but for someone to even work in the city and remain as amazing as she was is astonishing to me. Thanks Amanda!

It was a Saturday night and me and girlfriend really wanted to try TGI Fridays in the USA. The TGI Fridays is really good in the UK so we thought it would be even better in the USA. The waitress was friendly enough but seemed to be rushed off her feet even though she was only serving 2/3 tables including us.
We ordered jack Daniels chicken, a fried chicken burger and a side of fries. People around us were complaining about the standard of the food and how long they had been waiting for their food so we didn t have high hopes. The food eventually arrived and the chicken and the burger were actually really nice. However, the fries were cold and rock solid which was disappointing considering just a side of fries was priced at $6.95!!
We sent the fries back and asked for them to be taken off the bill which the waitress happily did. When the bill came we enquirered if the fries could be taken off the burger price too because we literally didn t touch them as they were vile. We were told we had to wait for the manager to come over. We waited half an hour for the manager who came over and was extremely rude and patronising towards us. We explained that the fries were terrible and he proceeded to say that the fries were perfectly fine. His words were it s not my fault you re British and have a different expectation on fries when literally everyone else in the restaurant were also complaining about their food being cold.
Overall, our experience was extremely underwhelming, we were left disappointed and we will not be returning :(

Ordered the $10 endless apps and was in the restaurant for over 2 hours. In those 2 hours I only got two appetizers and sat at my table with no one coming. Service is god awful.

Bit run down and service is average, due to understaffing. Food was nice enough, though.

TGI's are so much better in Norway. Our burgers were too well done (/dry). The prices are way to high for the quality of the food. Shake Shack is so much better.

A bit dirty and no drink prices on the Menu makes the experience unpleasant.

Place is disgusting. Server at the bar wearing a red cap was just awful, worst I've seen in NY. Don't waste your time

Eh, I wasn't expecting much but it was less even than expected. Great service and accessible bathrooms though!

Terrible service and expensive food. Worst restaurant we have eaten in whilst in USA. Took over a hour to get starters. No knives and forks when meals came out, had to ask twice for these. Another waitress dropped two plates of food on the floor next to us and it took over 30 min before anyone cleaned it up. The cup of water we received had a hole in it and created a puddle on the table, we had to clean this up ourselves as there was no one around to help. We have eaten in some great restaurants whilst in New York, this by far the worst. Our first and last time we will eat at TGIF.

After a long day of walking in NYC we went in to grab dinner at this TGI Friday s location. Unfortunately the prices are too high for the kind of food being served. We ordered onion rings and were so hard to bite, not crunchy but hard almost stale. Gave those back to the waitress and asked for a new order, we finish dinner and those never arrived. The pasta sauce was watery and too much of a fishy taste to it and a very small portion. The ribs were advertised as fall of the bone tender but felt short from living to that description. Only good thing from this experience was our waitress, she was sweet and understanding.

They did not take us quickly, it took a lot for just one order of wings and very expensive for what they served

Terrible food and slow service. We came as a group and wanted separate checks but the waitress had us calculate the amount to charge each card including tax. Avoid at all costs.

The food was alright. They kept getting our order wrong. It took about 3 tries. The slushie wasn't made how it is in just about every other TGI Friday's I've been to.

Terrible food, extremely overpriced. Not recomended.

Stay a way !!!!
Was in Manhattan and decided to stop by Friday s , because they weren t as busy as other places and wanted to eat fast .
Well , I now know why they weren t busy .
Disgusting dirty place and disgusting food that warmed up but not fresh ( cold and hard inside and hot outside) .Not to mention the bathrooms and overall place dirty.
Bartenders are disgusting personal business out loud how much they hate the place .
But I wish that was all ! Got food poisoning and will NEVER eat at ANY FRIDAYS locations in any city !!!

What a place!! A poor welcome, waiters will come every two seconds for you orders (feels like in a rush to kick you out) and give your bill right after picking your plat, without asking if we need any thing...
Expensive as hell for small quantity, at least the food is not to bad...
Tips circled and the fat line where it says that it is not included too!! Like you re gonna miss it!?!?
At least the kitchen looks like they re having fun! Not like the rest of the restaurant....

We sat at the bar and had a great bartender (can't recall her name at the moment) however we drank and had endless appetizers in times square. We received great service.

Great cocktails especially the strawberry mojito shaker!

Slowest service in the world. After waiting 20 min for a table it took another 15 min for drink orders and then 15 min to bring us our drinks. We order as so as he came back with the drinks we got no appetizers just two burgers which took another 45 min to come to the table.. when the burgers came you can tell that they were sitting waiting for a long time so they were warm we ate then we have to wait another 20 minutes for the check all in all this was the longest experience ever a waste of time

Good food. Sadly rather noisy. Music at the maximum alow able 80db.

I honestly cannot believe that TGI Friday's charges $20 for a hamburger! I will never ever ever go back to a TGI Fridays because of the greed from this one restaurant near times Square! My daughter's kid meal sliders that cost $10 we're good and my son's $6 to scoop ice cream wasn't that bad either. The service was pretty good but the $20 hamburger really piss me off

Attention is the worst. Tasty food. The dirty place.

Bring back the fajitas. Bad service they waitress dropped sauce by my booth and Bennett even cleaned it up. When I told jet I don't want to fall she gave me a nasty look n talked about me too the hostess

This restaurant was just a mess, the service wasn't good, mostly because they didn't have enough people, we even got some dirty knives and had to tell the waitress for her to change them. The food was really bad, like not how it is in other Fridays, it was all bad, we got mahi mahi, salmon, a steak and some buffalo wings and everything was just so bad, very disappointing, really not recommend, you could have better food at any food truck on the street honestly.

This is by far the Worst TGIF IN UNITED STATES. Worst undercooked raw burgers nasty fries cold chicken sandwiches. The host older lady is rude and nasty and clearly hates her job. Trust me stay away from this TGIF. Rated an F.

After a long day of touring the city we decided to eat here. Our service was basic, no complaints there. Strong margarita (should be, it was 14.00), I give 1 star, 0 if I could because our server harassed me because he felt we didn't tip him enough. What we tipped was more than fair. I told him the amount we gave was correct and he still kept pressing us to give more and asked if the service was bad and then said he had to tip the bartender which took away from his tip. It was awkward and he was incredibly rude.

Booking at this place assured us of the New Year's Eve in Times Square. We book a table for $ 270 apiece. Arrived outside the restaurant, we queue for an hour to enter, despite our "VIP" reservation. After settling downstairs, we need packaged chips and bad quality alcohol free. A waiter sporadically passed by to offer us small sandwiches and pre-cooked rustics. Then the dinner: chicken marsala with white rice and boiled broccoli, an absolute sadness. At 11.30 pm we were out to take place among the TS barriers, to try to see the famous Ball Drop. I mean ... in hindsight, I didn't go back even for $ 50. Fortunately, good company always fixes any little disaster by making it lighter :).

One star is even too many. The worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. Shocking service to start, waited 10 mins before server even have us a menu, 2 tables walked out while we waited. Server eventually arrived and took order, not a very pleasant server either. Waited another 10 mins for drinks when they arrived a female customer walked by our table and vomited all over the place.... it was truly shocking. Nobody came to her assistance to help clean up, she just continued to the bathrooms. At this point my family and I decided to leave along with another table I might add.... totally ruined our first night in New York.

Plan to have a heavenly delicious platter of ribs ... give TGI's a visit !

it was not like other TGI I have been. the food was simply acceptable, the waiting time to be served was long. I would not go again.

Omg yesterday Friday 2/17 it was so ghetto they was fighting and throwing chairs and just being very ghetto it was my first time there and I'll never ever eat there I didn't even have time to order food

Burgers and shakes taste was good but I couldn't believe dirtiness of restaurant(specially toilets).It wasn't hygienic at all:-& This was our first and last time

Courteous doorman that's where it ended. He says on his two way "Party of five coming up". Top of the stairs dining room greeter says how many? Half hour from when we sat down food came out, had to get it to go in order to catch bus trip we were with A lot two hours for this place if you have things to do or places to be. Potato skins awful bacon half cooked, cheese skimpy. Didn't here how are friends steak was. 0 star Restaurant---5 star for the Doorman he seems out of place.

Love the place, unique and clean. Staff is cheerful and friendly to customers. The food is one of a kind. Really different from competitors. A must go. Maybe it would be good to with anticipation or mayne reserve a spot to be having a seat on the momemt ypu arrive.

Nice Happy Hour. Fair service. Great location. No free WiFi. Men s restroom was disgusting. It look like it hadn t been cleaned this year.

They went up too much on appetizers and got my order wrong had to send it back and wait for a new plate

Took 15 min for someone to come to our table...took an hour to get our food...food was so bad I had to send it back. For the prices they are charging and being in Times Sqaure they really need to get it together at this location.

A delight. Try the onion soup and the white cheddar soup. Drinks are a delight. Pity the price varies from restaurant to restaurant

Wasn't great a disinterested waiter, plates dumped in front of us & to top it off complained because he wanted a better tip, 15% was more than enough for the way the service and attitude was.

Best service. They have a great manager. The gentleman did taking care of me and my family in a professional way.

It was nice....good place for the family to eat and relax.

Not exaggerating when I say this was the worst dining experience of my life. Way, way overpriced bland food, horrid nonexistent service, a basically non air condioned bldg, and dirty tables and restroom. Literally eat anywhere else in Times Square, including a hot dog cart.

Food was good , service was also good . Nice size servings. Full bar, signature cocktails. Off broadway makes this a nice spot. Staff super friendly. From Appetizers to salads and burgers. Its a nice stop

Service was slow and waitress was rude, took for ever to just get our drinks. The food was alright. The place overall needs to be worked on. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, no paper towers and on top of that the air dryer was unplugged in order to charge phones by employees. Would not go back.

Place was a dump. The food was mediocre at best, and very overpriced. Not a fan of T.G.I. Friday's to begin with and this didn't even meet that bar. We'd have been better off eating street meat from a cart. Server was nice and good but everything else was bad.

They are supposed to open at 11:30, I was waiting outside in 30 degree weather with my family and they wouldn t let us in. All the employees were inside staring at us, but no one spoke to us. So I decided to call them, whilst waiting outside, a woman answered the phone. I could see her on the phone, and she could see me on mine outside. As I proceeded to ask what time they plan on actually opening, she hung up the phone, rolled her eyes at me and walked away. Keep in mind that there were other groups of families waiting outside that they all just completely dismissed. Don t waste your money at this Friday s, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The place is nice and it's close to Times Square, I think the burgers are expensive, good but not the best.
