I drove 600 miles for a low production Hyundai vehicle that Terry Reid Hyundai had in stock. They were willing to work out a deal that made the drive worth it. That alone made me happy with the dealership, however the reason for the review is actually based on when I made it to the dealership.
I arrived around two hours before they closed on a Saturday, my new car was already detailed and sitting outside the front door. Austin (salesman) already had the deal ready to go and paperwork ready to sign. I met Christian (Finance Manager) briefly and he stated he would get the deal loaded. Austin and I went for a test drive just to make sure one last time that it's the right fit for me. This was a courteous gesture as it was discussed on the phone previously that I've test driven this vehicle before locally, but they didn't have the right package. Austin wanted me to be sure that this was 100% the vehicle that I want.
When we got back to the dealership it took about 10-15 minutes for Austin and I to finish up the preliminary paperwork, and then I was taken into Finance. I brought a dealer draft from my local bank with a 2.75% APR, I told Christian that if he can beat it I will finance through them. He went above and beyond to reach out to their finance companies and got me a lower rate than 2.75%. I went ahead and financed through them and he also helped me with GAP, a Wrap Warranty, and Wheel/Tire Protection, all at prices that were acceptable to me. Overall I ended up under the payment that I set as a cap for myself (which rarely happens after going through financing).
Short Version: Austin and Christian went above and beyond to make my experience fantastic. I would highly recommend anyone within a few hundred miles (I drove 600) to go to this dealership, you can't go wrong.

I had a really good experience here with all the staff; but I tell you... Theresa(I am not even sure what her job title is) is the absolute best thing about this place. My two oldest children were driving back to college in Florida today from Wisconsin when they had a mishap on I75 not far from Cartersville, GA. Their car was towed to Terry Reid Hyundai and the wonderful service staff took great care of them. What started out a very bad day for the car, turned into a blessing by meeting some very fine people at Terry Reid's dealership. We went to Terry Reid to see about trading our old car in on a new santa Fe. The used car guy test drove our car and thankfully I rode with him. At the entrance to the dealership was a dead armadillo. He said I'm going to get that thing. He ran over it in my car and said that will give the detail guy something to do. After we got parked I was so mad I needed to leave. The offer on my car wasn't good enough so I politely declined the offer. Nothing was ever said about getting it cleaned up so I will not be back

I highly recommend that anyone thinking about buying a car here to go somewhere else with their money. They start out very friendly with you as to be expected, but as soon as your dollars are in their hand they treat you like there is no longer a use for you. I went their to purchase a used car after being out of the country for a long time. I took my step father with me, who is a mechanic so that I would have somebody to check out the car before buying. I finally settle a something that I liked and had my step father check it out and he found that the brakes needed a lot of work and to ask them to fix that for me before purchasing. They said they would, so I went ahead with the purchase.
That next morning I popped the hood and looked around that the engine again and notice a pool of liquid that wasn't there the day before. My step father looked at it again and said it was transmission fluid leaking and that they must have cleaned it before I bought it. So naturally I would back to the dealership to confront them about it and was told that I was liar to my face. Never do business with Vic, he is the head manager of that place. He said that I had my step father check it out and that it was good and that he wasn't his fault there was some kind of leak. However, it was obviously cleaned up before I bought it. They also tried to not honor their promise to fix my brakes, but luckily someone there is honest and did the work for me. Vic will treat you very poorly and he does not deserve your hard earn money. He is very disrespectful and is only cordial long enough to get your money. Steer clear of this place!
We had been to several car dealerships in search of a car for our son. We had a budget and not really sure what kind of car we wanted. These guys went out of their way searching their inventory for the perfect car. They even stayed past closing time to find it. Not once did we feel pressured or did they make us feel like we d miss out if we didn t buy that day. I highly recommend this dealership. Their professionalism was exceptional. We will give them our business again.

I have always brought my Sonata to this dealership until I bought a new car from them. When my husband and I bought this brand new Plug- In IONIC car in May 2018, the manager said to us that our first oil change will be free because the car is new etc. Now that my car reached 5000 miles, I brought the car in for the oil change. I am very disapointed that the manager does not only keep his words but the way he spoke to the service guy who went to him to double check whether he promised a FREE OIL CHANGE or not, is horrible. Man, if you don't remember promising anything to anyone, there is a nicer way to deal with that. I actually feel sorry for the service guy because he was very nice. Fine, you do not remember promising a free oil change and I could have stayed and paid for the freaking oil change but I would not give a penny to a place that does not value its customers! I'd rather even pay more elsewhere to get my oil change done! I will never recommend this place. EVER!
I brought my 2017 Hyundai Tucson in for the 45k maintenance and to replace a headlight bulb that was out. The front staff were polite and the service took approximately 2 hours. No problem. I paid $300 for the 45k maintenance and $40 for the bulb and about $20 for labor to put it in, so about $370 total (After tax). After I took my vehicle, that night I noticed I could not see light from my headlight that was replaced. When I pulled up to my house, I noticed the light was pointed straight down. I took it back the next day and they took it in to look at it. I was told it would just be a few minutes to adjust it. I waited 2 more hours for it to be adjusted by their master tech. I was quite frustrated but as long as it was done right, then I had no problem and I understand issues come up. When I got home that night again, I was blown away to see my headlight projected about 7 feet up and off to the left and the other one was right below eye level and straight on. Needless to say I was furious. I googled how to adjust the headlight myself and found it was just a 11mm bolt that when turned clockwise or counter clockwise it raised and lowered it. I did it myself in about 3 mins and they were both level with each other. I waited 2 hours for that to be done and they didn t get it wrong just once but twice! That s ridiculous. The second time was supposedly by their master tech. I paid $370 for service and with how messed up and bad a simple 3 minute job was done, I have no idea if the rest of the services I paid for were even done. That is embarrassing. I had a good experience a few months ago with a manufacturers warranty service so I decided to come here for my annual maintenance but I will never come back to this location as well as I will let anyone that asks know about my experience.

I always get my nails done here at 316 Nail Salon. Wonderful staff and outstanding customer services. There are two restaurants Neena's and Johnny Smoke House both are very good. There is also 316 Ice Cream Shop with rolled ice. Ice cream is made while you watch. Yummy in the tummy I like to treat myself there.

I bought a Car last week from Terry Reid Hyundai to use as my mode of transportation for the use of my cleaning service business. I was helped by a salesman that goes by the name of Cartess Ross! The whole staff was really nice and home welcoming! I bought a new Tucson SUV and I absolutely love it! Terry Reid has killer rebates and they are basically giving cars away with their killer rebates! I even got a free 55 inch brand new flat screen tv! I will be buying all my future cars here! Pretty good for a dealership in Cartersville!

**UPDATE**
41 days since this purchase my happy experience has now turned sour. It seems that once the car left the lot the customer service at Terry Reid left too. Problems from the poor detailing job to the pay off on the trade in.. nothing was as it should have been. Many issues and mistakes resulting from careless and rushed paperwork have caused a trade in vehicle to still be in my name (41 days later) and a furstraighting tag issue on the new vehicle. Keep in mind, this was not a special or unique deal. As you can imagine I have many questions to which the staff of Terry Reid either cannot answer or they simply refuse to answer.
Beware. They will charge you $135 for a "diagnostics" that they didn't tell you they were going to charge for. For my case the "diagnostic" was driving the car around to try and recreate the issue, which they said they couldn't recreate. Yet I still got charged $135 for them to drive it a couple of times and say we can't get it to do anything. Then right when I go to leave the service center it does exactly what I brought it in for that they said they couldn't recreate.
Bad communications. Needs a lot of help in the customer service department.

Terry Reid has been my go-to dealership for years. They offer great customer service, service repairs and rates. My parents even drive an hour to do business with them! As a high school teacher, I had a student that wants to be a master technician for foreign cars. I knew, IMMEDIATELY, to send him to Terry Reid Hyundai. They re always going above and beyond to do things for the community and for people. Would recommend doing any type of business with this wonderful company and people.

Bought a car at Terry Reid Kia. Now that it's closed, I had to deal with Terry Reid Hyundai but now that the car is paid off and I'm trying to get a gap insurance refund, I get no responses from any of the staff when I inquire about it. I was told 4-6 weeks and now it's been 10 weeks without any communication or refund. Would not recommend this dealership - it looks like they stop caring once they sell their inventory.
Came in today after a month long search for my next vehicle and finding this one online, as suggested by my pre approved lender. I had called ahead to be sure the car I wanted was still available but with no specific appt time. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by Eric and taken inside to grab the waiting keys. The car was right out front, got in, immediate no-wait test drive. And this was the car! Finally! Eric was very efficient in completing the paperwork for my lender while joking with the both me and the staff. Really nice, relaxed atmosphere. Then I was off to Dexter for finalization. I have to tell you, I would have NEVER thought that signing loan paperwork was fun, but Dexter was a riot! Absolutely fantastic! After looking over my lender offer and credit, he (with permission) sent my docs to another lender and saved me 2%! I could not be more thrilled! Conversation was fun and personable while we completed the paperwork and option packages. It was truly a joy buying a vehicle from this dealership.
And y'all, I gotta tell you...I was tired. I was so over looking at cars for a month, at having someone try and talk me into something I didn't want, and the DRIVING, that I half cringed each appointment I set. Coming here was the light at the end of the tunnel. I was able to be excited again about getting a new car. AND being thrilled about the note? Bonus! I'd recommend this dealership 100%. If you're in the market and want a stressfree, pleasant car buying experience, this is the place.

I purchased a new Hyundai Santa Fe from Terry Reid Hyundai in January 2017. It was the best car buying experience I've ever had. They are extremely helpful in all departments as well as very knowledgeable. I met who I think is one of the owners named, Claudia, and this is a Christian lady who helps out in the community in many ways. Since purchasing the Santa Fe, I've had to take my vehicle in one time for regular maintenance and it was easy as could be. The service department was punctual, helpful, kind and considerate. The overall experience was okay buying my first used car i guess.. I went in to buy my first car, a prius. It was about 2000 less than any price close so I made sure everything checked out. No wrecks, no problems, "100 point inspection, the same as a Hyundai certified vehicle would get," great condition. So I bought it came out with a price so much higher after taxes and everything. I could deal with the price though. A few days later i noticed the tent was messed up, the car had not been fully detailed out, and after 2000 miles my oil light came on. At 6000 miles, at the same time, my AC started blowing hot air and both my headlights went out. Maybe this couldnt be helped, I don't know, I'm sitting here waiting for it to get checked out now. I also Noticed that they ran my credit for like 12 banking institutions. So that looks like i went around looking for a loan from everyone even though I was accepted by the bank the first time. I even refinanced for a much lower interest rate two weeks later at my community bank since i live quite a while away from the dealership. The guy who sold me the car didn't work there less than a week after I bought the car. Other than this, They have been really helpful when i've been up there and are always curious and the Financial Advisor Aeriana I think is really nice and helpful. I love the car but its just been stressful sometimes. I also got gap insurance for 600$ cheaper when I refinanced.

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Mike Sanders and Claudia Laughridge..my car had been at another dealership for almost 40 days and I was getting no answers.. I was SO frustrated. The fact that they both took their time to speak with me and Mikes knowledge speaks VOLUMES for what kind of people they are and what kind of company they run. After speaking with Mike, I was able to get the issues resolved quickly with the other dealership. From this point on, I will never trust my vehicle with anyone else but Mike Sanders and the next vehicle I purchase will DEFINITELY be from there. I am so thankful for such caring and honest people. Andre in sales is who I bought my Hyundai from, he really goes the extra mile when it comes to customer service . Mike Sanders in the Parts Department was another person that was so helpful when I brought my car in due to a minor scrape on the side bumper and tire. It was fixed in no time and you cannot tell at all that it ever was scraped. I was so pleased with the end results. I waited 2 hours for an oil change. 2 hours. They won some big flag in the waiting room with #1 Hyundai Service in the district for 2019. They must be the only one on the district. Literally. They made that flag for themselves. Every single 5k oil change, 1.5 to 2 hours. One girl had to look through the window to tell me how long the wait was. I had to reschedule. Still 2 hours on a wed at 10am. That is pathetic.

I used to be very loyal to this location for my oil changes, but during the last visit I made there an employee lied and said that I requested them to check my tire pressure monitoring system light on the dash and then proceeded to charge me $100 for the diagnosis of "need new tire pressure sensors". Maybe this would have been slightly less worse had I not paid $50 (and my insurance paying another $500 or so) for them to replace the sensors and they were and still are not functioning properly. I mean really he could not have picked a worse lie to tell. They didn't have any sort of consolation for me except a pathetic apology. Lying about the purpose of my visit to gain an extra $100 plus whatever charge for the repair FOR SOMETHING I ALREADY PAID TO HAVE FIXED and all they had was an apology and not even from a manager but rather a cashier. Pathetic. I have not and will not go back. They couldn't have spelled out their true intentions any more clearly for me. I won't be fooled again.

Worst place! Just bought the my 2018 Elentra 10/2018.. thought they were friendly, even though no test drive(new so didn't see reason&wanted to find out if i could get it 30 miles on it) I was told don't see an issue but after several hrs & $150 over budget, I was told that my 2016 accent had defective airbag, now tell me how was it not noticed when I took it to them before 60,000 to get overall check &they said shows light, well it was showing the airbag off when no 1 in seat when I was there so they tried to mark down but I said that is y'all wrong doing. Then just took my Elentra today with hub missing since I noticed 2nd week &headlight out! Over a month bought &out! & said hub fell from someone taking off tire to patch &drilled a hole, I said do i look like I can lift a tire & drill into a rim, then they asked about shop(if a shop I would just go there to get figured out) &if tire had a hole then i would've called the Hyundai roadside which would be in records &their fault. So why would i do it myself? Friendly when u buy car but rude when at service dept. They promise a bumper to bumper but when something happens they find a reason not to &blame later.Also tell me why they said let's get u out of that run down 16 accent &into this new Elentra, didn't think twice cause in there for hrs so ready to get stuff from old into new &go home. They won award in 2014 & not since because attitudes are outrageous. Also I go somewhere 5 days a week that has cameras so I will be seeing when it fell off & will make sure to go out of my way to let anyone looking for new car to never go here. They argued with me &implied I was a liar when for all I know the young kid pulling my car around could ve done it while in there or when they took it for "clean up" while doing paperwork did a quick fix to a leak in tire from dealer parking lot or previous test drive &why they wanted to get it clean while it was cleaned before I drove it off, I thought they were putting gas in it but I left with under a quarter of tank,had to stop otw home. If anyone goes here, take pics of all around car &find out exact details of when they take it &watch the back don't get coffee or snacks, pay attention. & find out why it takes hrs to get done &exact details,of warranty & check the things before leaving that aren't covered. I thought i could trust them because informed of great warrant but that was just paid consumers. Someone needs to report this place. Now I'm stuck with a car that will most likely give me the worst trouble unless I do what it takes to stand up to them which I will. I will not allow a dealership to walk over me because I'm a woman. By the way will be taking it to expert to see how long it could have been like that.
I went it for my regular oil change about a month ago and as i was checking in at the service station a sales assistant was standing there. He was like a valcher. He told me that he could put me in a brand new car for the same price as my 2012 Accent. I was not even there to trade in. I told him I was not interested. He pretty much annoyed me to his desk. He then got my info and credit checked me which really pissed me off because I did not want to trade in!?!? Told me that I would have to pay down 1000.00 and my payments would be more. Keep in mind....I TOLD HIM I WAS NOT INTERESTED. Here's the kicker. When I finally said NO....he all of a sudden could not find my keys.....WHICH WERE THERE TO HAVE MY OIL CHANGED. He told me to take the car home for the weekend and come back on monday. Like it was a treat. Remember.....I JUST WENT TO GET MY OIL CHANGED. Then on Monday they magically appreared. The manager was also in on it too. Another sleazy guy. Now I know I could have said no to begin with. But he never said I would be credit scored, again I should have known, he did promise the same payments, that was a lie. My point is.....TERRY REID KEEP YOUR SLEAZY SALES REPS AT THEIR DESKS AND AWAY FROM THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!? I will never buy another car from them again!
Great customer service. In the area from out of state and couldn't of asked for better service. The waiting room was comfortable for the hour wait it took also.

Went to test drive a truck and truck wouldnt start or run. Drove over an hour just to be let down about it.
I took my car in for an oil change, the waiting area is very comfortable, they have a big screen TV, coffee is free, there are vending machines. The staff if very friendly and will answer all your questions. I had an appointment and they took me in early, service was quickly and but everything was checked.
The only reason they got one star is I had to choose it to continue. This place is a rip off. I am stupid and went there for a second car after they got me on the first. I guess I deserve it for going back but wanted to give them another chance! Ended up not getting the second car so they kept my down payment and even took the floor mats and stuff out of the vehicle I traded in and could not find them at all! So I left without my money or my floor mats. If you have extra money you want to throw away or just in for a good screwing please go visit these guys! They will def put one on you.
Best new car buying experience that I have ever had! I was in the market for a BMW SUV until I found the Tuscon Limited. The service department is wonderful. They keep you up to date with the progress of what's going on with your vehicle and the timeframe of how much longer it will be. Claudia, one of the owner's, is super friendly and willing to resolve any issue, if you were to ever have one. All of the employees are constantly offering you coffee, tea, or water while you wait. I definitely recommend going by there and checking them out before you buy from someone else!

My review is to talk about the Ownership of this company so for anyone that is seeking employment please stay away from Terry Reid. My husband and I experienced one of the most insulting encounters today. My husband has been in the car industry for 15+ years (Sales Management) and is very good at what he does. Last week he was told about a job opening at Terry Reid GMC or possibly even where he has the Hyundai store in Cartersville as well, so he went in for a interview and they hit it off very well. He was promised everything imaginable. He was told there was a demo program, insurance would start immediately, 4% of gross at the end of the month, a weekly salary and the list continues. Sounds to good to be true huh? Well guess what it was, it just so happen that last night at 12:00 a.m the night before my husband starts his "NEW" job Terry Reid sells the dealership. My thoughts would be to tell the man upfront that you've been trying to sale the dealership for the past 6 months now, but no let's just leave that untold. Instead of calling my husband last night to tell him that no job existed anymore he lets him come in with the thoughts of this being his first day on the job. Terry said "I didn't call last night because it was so late". My thing is my husband could have been looking for something else this morning other than getting the runaround. We have heard from several different people that this man is "very shady" and guess what people he is just that. I was told by Terry myself that he was trying to find my husband somewhere else to go, but the more I think about it what good is his word. Whoever you do call if "I" haven't ruined it for him be sure you tell them what you just did to the man. We have 5 small children to provide for so we don't have time for somebody to be pulling our chain. Terry I hope you can lay your head down tonight and sleep peacefully knowing what he just put our family through. Please think twice before going to work for this man he makes promises he can't keep.

Very good !!!! The staff was very professional and informative. I felt no pressure in buying the car but once I did the test drive I fell in love with my Genesis. I would recommend anyone looking for a car to go to Terry Reid Hyundai. A big Shout out to our sales person Chad he took his time with me and was very courteous . This was the first time I have ever bought a car on my own being married for 39 years. I was very impressed on how I was treated and informed on the whole process from the beginning til I drove off in my new car.

Below you can read my review on one of the salesmen there I would still recommend to avoid like the plague. How ever after reading this review they reached out to me and I gave them a second chance. I am so glad I did. After buy a car there over a year ago I figured they changed management and everything was crappy. That is so not the case I had just stumbled on one bad apple. They are an amazing dealer ship that went above and beyond to make sure I was happy they have kept me in the loop with everything from service on our other 3 cars we bring there or my new car that I found a tine imperfection on when I got home! I love my car and what is even better is Rick and Ariana have maintained me as a customer for life. I will be buying my next car in about a year from them as well as replacing our truck by years end with them! Thank you sooo much for all everyone did for us on this AMAZING team!
I hade the worst expetience with JR of all the hyundai dealer in a 60 mile radius. We came in twice to look at cars and the first time he basically blew us off and we left without a price of the car we where looking at. I then decided to give him a second chance and he flat out told us he would not help us unless we where buying today and told us buying customer are worth his time, because we where shopping around we where not worth the time of day. Sad thing is we would have gone and gotten our down payment if he had given us the help we wanted. When we attempted to leave he chased us down and had another persons plate from a trade in and told us this is why people come here to het deals and then started to argue with my husband. I will never return to this location and will be going to cherokee hyundai where they have given me numbers, helped me think through my financing and dont mind that i want to take the time to get the best deal for me possible. I am infuriated with how I was treated at terry ried hyundai.

Started working here couple months ago-was immediately welcomed as part of the family! Co workers are always there to help with any problems and the managers always look out for their employees. I even purchased a Santa Fe couple weeks after I started working. Best big purchase! Feels great knowing I have a 10 year warranty!
