This place always do an excellent job taking care of our Murano. We call in advance, make an appointment and when my Wife gets there it's just like in an out, 30 minutes at the most. We bought this Nissan in Kennesaw, brand new and since than, Sutherlin Nissan Mall of Georgia has taken care of it. We are not disappointed.

I rate this dealership 3 stars. I got a car that was clean and the price was decent. My only issue was the hidden fees they charge for what they call a car "inspection". Something they have to do any way before they can sell a car. Why charge the buyer? They tacked on over $1,700 to the listed price of the car when I got there. They only offered me a discount if I financed with them. I refused due to my credit union giving me a 1.9% interest based on my credit and there was no way in hell they could beat that! I would have walked but the car was in excellent condition. They also tried to raise the price of the car and I had to screenshot the internet price. They post a price on line just to bring you in...then add that huge inspection fee. They should include the fee in the advertised price so people know up front what they are paying. The car I purchased was a Toyota Highlander trade in and I know if I bought it from Toyota it would have been a certified vehicle based on the condition. Because this is a Nissan dealership it was purchased as is... A courtesy water would have been nice. They offered us nothing to drink which is strange. Most dealerships at least offer you a drink considering you will be there for a few hours. Other than that the car was clean and practically sold itself with the immaculate condition it was in.

At first, we had a very pleasant experience. As part of the sale, the salesperson went into great detail about the CPO warranty and that's why we negotiated the price we did. We wrote a check for the full amount and everything. We negotiated that they would deliver the car to us. However, two days later, they called to say they the car would not be covered by the warranty, yet offered no reduction of price or refund, and didn't even apologize that they had wrongly given us that information. When we decided we didn't want the car, the GM called us and clearly was desperate for us to purchase the car. He got the Business Manager on the phone as well, who said our check had been deposited already (we later found out it had not been). He finally offered to reduce the price to reflect the lack of warranty, which is what should have been offered to begin with, but when I pushed back and asked if he might reduce the cost further due to the inconvenience, he said he would call us back. He never did. Only after we persistently called his cell and the dealership, we finally texted the GM that we were out and we had cancelled the check and he responded.
The price listed was around $7,000. With the hidden fees, it ended up being just under $10k. The warranty was $1200. So they wanted to give us a car that we thought was going to be around $7k with a warranty for $10k without a warranty. Something is really not right there. Once they had our check and our car, I think they felt like they had us over a barrel.
This experience felt VERY shady. Why couldn't they tell us the car was not under warranty when we were there? Why were they so unapologetic and slow to offer a refund? Why did they say they would call us back and then not do it? Very unprofessional. Beware of this place.
I purchased a car here along with a program for free oil changes and gap insurance. First of all when I called the person who directs the call I asked her if I can talk to services she couldn't understand me (maybe because my phone was cutting off) and she was getting a horrible attitude. When I finally got passed to services, they ended up saying I needed to wait 2-3 days because they were booked all those days? That doesn't sound like good service. Plus they never send letters when you purchase a car to see if you were satisfied with the agent or car ect. Why purchase a car where you don't get treated right. I regret not going to Chevrolet and buying the car there (they also had the car I wanted) because my dad purchased a car at Rick Hendrick and they have the best customer service plus when you purchase a vehicle there they call multiple times to see how satisfied you were as soon as you step inside the dealership.
Great people ... they were patient and flexible with my crazy schedule...actually could not have asked for more. Better customer service than you will find at most busy locations these days.
All those stories you hear about sleazy car dealerships? The stories that are so awful they cannot possibly be true? This place will pull out all the tricks. Quote one price over the phone but then when you arrive to pick up your car, they claim they can't honor that price. High pressure. Lots of games. DO NOT GO HERE.
My vehicle purchase at Sutherlin's was great. I am now Cherry Newton. I purchased my vehicle in January 2017, it is now March 20 and I still have not received my tag. But that is just one issue, there are a few more.
I called numerous times to resolve the matter as well as visited the location when I dropped off my trade in vehicle title. Everyone assured me all would be settled quickly after dropping off the title, but that was not the case. I have called for a week and left numerous messages and no response. Finally, someone answered my call and assured me it would be resolved in a few days.
But when all said and done, no one ever called to check and see how the experience was nor did I receive the service records on the vehicle or the warranty information on the vehicle. I felt they only wanted the money and sale. I was very disappointed in my entire experience with Sutherlins and unfortunately I will not recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from this location.
Buying a car here was one of the best car buying experiences I've ever had. I would recommend them to all friends and family.
I'd rather have a root canal than buy another car here. It took 2 days and almost 10 hrs of negotiating.
Oil changes take 1.5hrs even with an appointment.
I will start with the positive, Nesrin was great and she did a good job of showing me off the features of the car (I already knew I wanted it and very familiar with the make/model) but she was a joy to work with herself.
Now for the negatives:
To start, I found an online price they did not want to honor at first but some talking to the Sales Manager we were able to get the price to what I found online however, an extra $1,900 for paint protection plus which is put on all the cars in their lot to protect their investment but again mention none of this, wheel locks for $299 and Nitrogen in the tires for $199, all non negotiable so the price didn't even matter what I saw online, they still would get it back and more.
I finally agreed on a price and had my own financing, I shook heads with them after agreeing on everything and said I had my own financing, he immediately said well we won't sell you the car for this price if you go with your own financing. Nothing in the small print indicated this at all but they stayed firm on this. I asked why is that and his response was "some people like a low interest rate but the price of the car is higher or they like a high interest rate but give them a break on the price, either way it will be the same". I was dumbfounded when I heard this as I care about the bottom line and not how low my monthly payment is, what is the point of negotiating or any of this if that is how you're going to put it? He ran my credit and said oh this is very good, you get our "best" rate of 5.85% when the offer I had from the bank I was using was 2.35%. I asked if I could refinance after 90 days and he said I could.
Finally, the car was given to me with very low nitrogen in 3 of the 4 tires of the lot and a window regulator that needed to be fixed within 4 days. This is how you treat your customers? I was charged extra forfthe Nitrogen you didnt even put in my tires, what a joke.This was the only time I give them my business and have told others a different Nissan dealership to purchase their cars from, thanks for showing how you truly low value your customers.
I drove 50 miles to come here and all these extra fees, a finance guy who basically said it doesn't matter what option you go with it is the same (I didn't work on my credit for nothing), awful experience with leaving my tires low on nitrogen and a window regulator that needed to be replaced within 4 days of leaving the lot on a new car, just terrible.
On November 29, 2013 [Black Friday], my Husband, 4 year old son and I went to this dealership to purchase a new car. We specifically went on Black Friday because the special stated all new purchases would receive a 42' LED television. We gave the price we were comfortable paying monthly and was told a deal could not be met. We said ok and left. About an hour later my Husband received a call to come back and was told they could meet our price. While finishing paperwork my Husband inquired about the television and was told it would be an additional $25/month which was not stated in the advertisement. When I came home from work and my Husband explained this to me I immediately called the dealership. My call was rudely answered by the receptionist who transferred me before I could finish my sentence. I explained the situation to a Susan, who stated I would receive a call back from Edwin. Edwin did not call. A few weeks later our first car note was due. We were told by the bank that Nissan pulled the application and to call them. Again I reached out to Susan who stated Edwin was handling something with our application and would give us a call back. On 1/23/14 [almost two months after having the car] Edwin called and stated he could not get us approved for our monthly price and we needed to bring the car back by 1/24/14 and would receive our down payment back. On 1/24/14 we were informed that our down payment would need to be mailed to us and we would receive it in a few weeks. WORSE FIRST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER.

My husband and I went into Sutherlin Nissan to look at the 2012 Juke. As soon as we pulled in we were greeted by Zack, who was awesome. He took us right to the car we wanted to look at and answered all of our questions. He showed us all the different models and helped us find the one that would best fit what we wanted. After test driving the SV edition, we left and went to lunch. As soon as we finished we went right back and purchased the vehicle. They were very helpful from start to finish. Both Zack and Fredrick (the finance guy) were great and so easy to work with. They made us feel comfortable and worked with us to keep our payment within budget! Overall it was a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend them to anyone! We would definitely buy from them again!
Excellent service and great personnel. Vinny, my sales representative, was very friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel like a person and not a number. And David in finance was awesome! He explained things in a way that made it easy to understand the financing piece. I didn't feel pressured; very comfortable! Thanks to both of them!

I just had yet another wonderful service experience with Brooks. He has to be one of the best service people I have ever dealt with and that is saying a lot considering my dad was a body shop manager for over 40 years. Every time we visit he is beyond helpful and more than courteous.
We made an appointment to have a recall service. It is an hour drive from our home. When we arrived Rob said to us, "we might not have the part". This caused anxiety and confusion because why would you not have a part for an appointment that you make two weeks in advance? Rob work his facemask on his chin the entire time which infuriated me. Rob seemed very put out that we wanted a rental car. We were on a time crunch and when we went to pay for some filters we also had installed, we could not get anyone to wait on us despite me complaining twice that no one was around to help us. Rob ended up comping the air filters and told me he would mail us a receipt which he never did. Three weeks late we get a call about why we haven't paid for the filters. All was explained and accepted and I again requested a receipt for which I still have not received. Robert and Carrie Hurd
Terrible customer service - bought a brand new Altima from them in Feb 2013. 80 K on the clock AND THE TRANSMISSION NEEDS TO BE REPLACED! Since their "warranty" expired at 60K they basically told me we are on our own" * that "transmissions fail". Clearly they sold us a sub standard vehicle as the Maxima we had before lasted 15 years and 190K - zero transmission issues. Service repair and customer service people are rude, defensive and very unhelpful. Buyer be warned - shop elsewhere for better service & better quality.

My experience here at Sutherlin Nissan Mall of Georgia has been awesome. This was my first time buying a Nissan and the whole experience was great. The salesperson, Nesrin was very warm and personable from the time I inquired about the vehicle, came into the dealership to test drive the vehicle, and through the delivery of the vehicle. Nesrin explained the features of vehicle with ease and confidence and made sure that I understood every aspect of what to expect from my new Nissan. What really impressed me was that Nesrin delivered my new vehicle to my home because I could not get into the dealership to pick it up. This fact alone is the reason why Sutherlin Nissan will retain my business in the future. I would highly recommend this dealership when you are looking to purchase a vehicle. Please ask for Nesrin because she will make your car buying process seamless and fun.

I bought a brand new 2017 Nissan Armada Platinum on Aug 31st and had a very minor paint chip on hood and lil paint of rim. I was told that bring the car on Tuesday (Sep 5th). So, I called before I walk-in to be sure that someone would be there to take care of it. I called 3 times, We would call you back. But I never got a call back. Think before you go there, If they treat new customers like this and I wonder how do they treat their old customers. However, i always have a good experience with their service dept. I'll be getting Nissan Survey and it's going to be very informative for this dealership.

the service area does not make proper check of the vehicle when it is due for maintenance for miles, in my experience, the anti-coolant liquid was about to end and nobody informed me about it, when I call to file my claim they tell me that they do not do that in that maintenance, they do not strive to keep the customer satisfied by giving incentives such as: vehicle cleaning, for example ... I have distrust of taking my car again because I do not know if they really do the maintenance they say they do

Bought a new car. They installed sun roof and it dose not fit. Tried 6 times to have fixed through the dealership like they ask and they never came to get the car. Only excuse after excuses once they got my survey all customer service stop. They lie and are untrustworthy. Now I have a new car with a messed up dealer installed sunroof. This was told to have life time warranty but if they wont even have it fixed. Not worth it. Sales manager and sales man and management are not men of there word... dont buy a car from Sutherland dealerships. Mall of ga nissan will just rip you off.

I didn't have a terrible experience. However I felt very mislead by what I had been told about the refinancing programs. I purchased a new vehicle in the summer of 2017. And was told I could come back in 8 months to a year and refinance, get into a vehicle of my choosing and get better payments and interest rate. Well when I went back today to try and refinance. I was told that the bank they financed me through wasn't a "prime" bank. So my monthly payments weren't reported as good credit. So even though I could get a 7% better interest rate, I couldn't get into a vehicle of my choice or have lower payments. Then they proceeded to tell me that if I went ahead with the refinance. I could do the better payments, better interest, new vehicle in 13 months. Um. Basically the same thing I was told last year. No thanks guys. I'll be finding someone else to refinance my vehicle with. I don't recommend.
EDIT: I did decide I'd give one last try. So I did call to speak with one of the finance managers. I was connected to someone in finance. Before I could even finish what I was saying he interrupted me and said we don't refinance. You should go to your personal bank. Wonderful. I'm glad they care about customer retention. Absolutely horrible. DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY DO NOT CARE.

The service department ripped me off pretty bad. Car was having problems especially at idle. They charged over 8 hundred dollars to fix simple common issues. For example they charged over 280$ for parts that come in a 70$ OEM Kit. After they burned me and got caught. The service manager tried to give me the run around instead of making it right. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. I won't trust them again.
What creates a trustworthy/comfortable atmosphere while shopping for a vehicle? When shopping around I came across a young man name Haddy. He presented himself with great communication skills and treated me as I was one of his own. One thing that stood out the most was the knowledge he had about the vehicles I wanted. Happy to say i ll be back soon to purchase through him!! Thanks again Haddy.
Before I set out to buy my first car, I had heard of several different tactics car dealers may use to get me up to their price. I was wholly shocked by Shelton's approach of condescension and ridicule, and I can't imagine he has much success with the level of arrogance he displayed. When a used car salesman opens negotiations with "What makes you think you can get this car for that price?" there's not much left to discuss. After "educating me" on sales taxes (because he assumed I must have been a moron and that I didn't know what taxes were) and BS dealer fees (they expected to collect a $900 "prep fee" on top of the sales price for the oil change, cleaning, work, etc they did on the trade in to get the car ready for sale), Shelton told me he wouldn't write down a best offer for me to take out the door. Finally, I got a scribbled offer on the back of a business card that was higher than the last price he quoted me. When I asked why he didn't write down the lower price, Shelton said "Nah, I would have to make a phone call for that price." PLEASE DON'T PUT YOURSELF OUT LIKE THAT SHELTON!! God forbid you pick up a phone in an attempt to make a sale/do your job.
In the end, I was more determined to make sure that Shelton didn't get a nickel from me than I was with getting any car from Sutherlin Nissan. If this attitude and behavior is acceptable to those in charge at Sutherlin Nissan, all I have left to say is DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!

With a 10:00 appointment for an oil change I sat there for over an hour and a half. I thought they might would have vacuumed my car out and if they didn't/couldn't because of covid, then a heads up would have been nice. The only reason I came was bc of a coupon but almost 2 hours for an oil change? I will just choose one of those places that service cars nearby next time.

I asked them to check my brakes and they tried to charge me 135.00 for a Diagnostic RIGHT! They literally look @ brakes, if they do not need replacing, they hook up a computer that tells them what is wrong! Next time, I will use someone else other than these folks.
They don t have any ethics at all, will exaggerate and lie just to get that commission lol. I guess that s business right? So the other day I came here because my car had the service engine soon symbol pop up. So I called because I didn t know where to pull up my car (btw, the person on the phone had no customer service, answered the phone with just a hello then when I asked a question she mumbled mmmhmm ) and went in. Told them what happened, gave the guy the key, with in like 30 minutes he came back out with a $7k bill talking about your car is useless and not worth this amount of money to get fixed. You might as well get a new one. The man, made it seem like there was no hope for that car and He brought out a lady thinking that I d be more guillable to buy a car from her because she was a woman too LOL. Basically I say all this to say becareful people, do not always go off of the things the dealers tell you. Their main priority here is money and not the costumer. Always get a second opinion or bring someone who is knowledgeable about cars with you. Thank god I had someone knowledgeable talk sense into me.

Stuert at the service customer service desk was amazing. However I have to give the sales side a two star review due to me looking in the lot today and not once did I get stopped by a sales person to see if I needed any help or was even asked if I was interested in a car. Actually, I got passed by a few. They could have made a sale, but passed me by. I could have later asked for help, but rather I will give my business elsewhere to people who actually acknowledge me. There was only one sales person with a client.
