If I could give this dealership a zero, I would!!! I bought a car from Sutherlin Nissan November 30th. Being my first car buying experience, I did not receive my paper work for the vehicle (bill of sale, ect.) while I was there. The finance manager neglected to give me the proper paper work period. I told him that I would be moving to SC, and asked for the steps in order to get my car registered there. He told me just to go to the DMV in SC and they would take care of me. After I moved, I realized I need my paper work to register my vehicle. I called the dealership letting them know to send my paperwork to my new address. They told me that they would. About a week later, I still had not received my paper work. I called back. They reassured me that it was on the way and that it would take a while since I forwarded my mail to my new address. Another week passed (getting closer to that 45 day mark), and I still had not received the paper work. I called again, this time asking for a tracking number. The finance manager let me know that he had failed to send my paper work because he was "too busy". By this time, my temporary tag had expired, and I was at risk of getting a ticket/my car impounded. When I didn't receive the paper work in two days, as promised, I was livid. I decided I would drive down to the dealership (2.5 hour drive) and get my paper work. After sitting and waiting for an hour, the finance manager gave me my paper work and another temporary tag. I was told that they would expedite my title information to the DMV in Greenville. Last week, I went to the DMV, got my SC license, paid property tax on the car, and wanted to register the vehicle (happily!). Unfortunately, the DMV was unable to locate the car's VIN, so I was unable to register my car. I called the dealership once again, in which I was told they are waiting on the title. It is now after the 45th day since I purchased the car. If I were to register my car today, I would have to pay fees. I now have to wait for the title, and then wait 4-6 weeks (according to Capital One) for them to release the title information to the DMV. They better pay these fees for me. This is ridiculous!

Not to mention, the finance manger is extremely rude. Acts like I am just another deal and not a human being. He had the nerve to tell me to "calm down" about the situation after lying to me numerous times. Would anyone else be upset at this situation?

I also had to pay $300 out of pocket to replace a heat shield literally 2 weeks after I bought the car. I was told I had a 100,000 mile/7 year factory warranty, which was also a LIE. The dealership I got the replacement from told me I had a 35k/3 year warranty. I just can't get over all the crap I've been through with this dealership. Worst car buying experience. I do not advise anyone to buy from them, knowing what they've put me through!

I had to get a new transmission on my 2015 Rogue I purchased used just 8 months ago and I am so happy I came here. Will was awesome, and he went out his way to make sure I was happy....I will be coming here for service on my vehicle..u gained a forever customer.

We had a great experience at Sutherlin Nissan. Purchased a new Murano. The main reason we came back was the salesman. He was professional, courteous and never pushy. Everyone we dealt with had the same attitude. So far, we are happy with our experience. Hope service department is just as good!

I made multiple attempts to obtain Drive-out price...

I made multiple attempts to obtain Drive-out price with all fees and taxes for the specific vehicle in stock.
The mistake I made is that I tried to contact them via internet.
Apparently that all internet sales department can do is to invite you for a test drive .
IF I wanted a test drive, I could have just stopped at the dealership.
But I already know which vehicle I want.

After 3 or 4 attempts to get that drive-out price with everything included I was given some number which was called special internet price but it didn t include any taxes, fees or dealer installed options.
They said the we our OTD prices are so low, that I our company policy is not to give them in writing. Seriously.
Considering that nowadays such little tricks with fess and options could add thousands of dollars ( its already printed , we can t remove it etc) , I think that number that was given to me is more or less worthless.
People, its 2020, not 1990. Customers DO buy things over the internet and they expect the price to be know in advance.

I wasn t in the mood to spend 2 hours of my time of getting to the dealer and probably be given some walk-in price, I just bought a car from another place.
Were everyone being nice and professional.

Bait switch. I only go to dealerships with USAA approval attached. However I will never go back here. I knew I wanted a Nissan Sentra. Upon arrival I told them a price I wanted to stick with. I was shown a price out of my range, but I really wanted this car. When I asked to see the other cars I was told they had way higher mileage, and were about the same cost. This turned out to be a lie. They were in fact lower mileages for 2k less! Unfortunately I didn t find this out until I was home and browsing their website. I ve had some amazing salesman in the past. These people are down right liars. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

If I could give no stars I would, hands down the worst experience I have ever had and to this day it makes me kind of not even like my car because of what happened. I was lied to and taken advantage of by the people who work at this dealership and I have now owned my car for a couple months and when I call up to ask questions the service department and receptionist are always short and dismissive. They have lost a lot of business with me as I would never ever refer someone to this place. My sister bought a car last week and went across the street to the Toyota dealership and had a great experience so if looking to buy a car in the Gwinnett area give them a try instead of Nissan.

A few weeks ago I dropped my car off and I got one of those deals in the mail. They were supposed to wash and vacuum my car and clean the upholstery with my oil change. My car has visibly not been washed. They didn't clean my upholstery. I am not happy about them not doing what they said they would. Probably gonna start taking it to the dealership I bought it from which is Carriage Nissan.

My boyfriend bought his 2008 pathfinder from them late last year and has had problems with it since. They never checked it or they would've seen it had problems. He has had to fix so much on it. He had something else go wrong with it so he took it to sutherlin to look at it while it was there they busted his radiator cap. They never said anything and didn't replace it.

If anyone is looking to get your transmission rebuilt Aamco in lawrenceville has a transmission specialist on staff. They do a terrific job. They won't lie or give you the run around.

Also if you want a good nissan service center Carriage Nissan in Gainesville is awesome

While driving near Buford on I-85, our Nissan rogu...

While driving near Buford on I-85, our Nissan rogue lost its transmission near this dealership late on a Saturday. Service department worked after closing hours to determine the damage so that we might make decisions as to how to save vacation. They transported us to a nearby motel, called us with the news that the transmission needed to be replaced and that it would be finished on the following Wednesday. We rented a car, traveled to see our parents and returned to find the car ready to drive home. This dealerships staff, especially Ruben and Will, were kind, thoroughly competent and were wonderful to deal with in this difficult circumstance. Very grateful. They are a little too far from Maryland to purchase a vehicle from or to recommend to friends, but if I were closer I certainly would, with pleasure, do so.

Bad experience we bought nissan pathfinder sv 2014 the seller added us like 2000 dollars more than something that they had not even done to the car, unfortunately I did not check the battery and brakes the battery had the acid outside and had stained everything that is the part of the engine, brakes were very worn, trust this seller and it really is a very bad but very bad experience

I have been a customer since 2006 and have had nothing less than a fantastic experience. The sales persons know their job and let you be in charge of the deal. The service department is outstanding. I have never had to make a return visit for the same problem. Service technicians like Mike and Andy are the best in the business. Their goal is perfertion and they are not far from achieving it! No complaints whatsoever! Sherry Hosch is the best service advisor!

NEVER EVER PUT YOUR FOOT INTO THIS SLEAZY DEALERSHIP. We recently (Oct 2016) went there to buy a certified pre-owned vehicle and were shocked to find out how from a sales person (Weiss) to the general manager (Shelton) to the Finance Manager to the Director of Used Car Sales work in tandem to hoodwink the customer. We went for a test drive with Weiss and noticed that this 'Certified' Quest was loudly whining. On our return, Shelton promptly came with a document for us to sign and we told him in front of the sales person that there was a loud whining noise. We also told them twice that we needed to see the Carfax. He promised to take care of the whining noise and also told the sales person to get the carfax. We TRUSTED them and initialized the document. We were then taken to the finance person, who was more interested in quickly closing the deal and making sure that the vehicle would be physically driven out of their lot. Before signing the contract we told him that we are yet to see the carfax and refused to sign. The sales person finally came with the carfax and we were shocked to notice that there was an accident report which was never shared with us. What followed was a dog and pony show. The sales person danced around and tried to convince that the accident was a minor one, but otherwise the minivan was in a good shape. We again made the mistake of TRUSTING these snakes. We signed the contract and asked if we could come and pickup the car in the evening as it was getting late to work. The finance guy insisted that the vehicle has to be driven out of the lot. I later came to know that there is a legal reason why the bean counter wanted us to drive it away. We got the key and started driving the minivan. To our shock again, within a few miles the whining noise from this 'Nissan Certified' vehicle was unbearable. So Shelton never got that issue addressed as promised. We came back to the dealership on the same day after work and told them that we had to talk to the Director of Used Car sales. We told him that we were completely cheated and asked him to call the Weiss and Shelton into the meeting. He simply refused and told us that they belonged to a 'different' department, but would look into the whining noise from the gears. At this point we told that we would like to return the car as we were cheated into buying a lemon. This is when the real pow wow war of words started. He told us that it was a 'contract' and cannot be terminated, at which time we suggested that they were potentially looking at a legal situation and both Weiss and Shelton will be summoned. He threatened on top of his voice that they had 6 lawyers and we can bring anyone we want. He perhaps forgot that consumers were protected by GA Lemon Laws. We also wanted to see and get a copy of the list of items that were checked out by the mechanic to ensure that it was Nissan Certified. We also told him that we are ready to take it to another Nissan dealership and get it tested for certification. When these issues came up, he must have realized that he was not dealing with some ordinary buyers, so he agreed to get the minivan completely 'checked out'. But was arrogant as hell and had underestimated the caliber of the buyers. Next day we got the vehicle back and the whining noise was gone (atleast so far). We again asked for the list of items that they had checked to ensure that the vehicle could be Nissan Certified. They are yet to give it to us. So that was our GREAT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AT SUTHERLIN FOR BUYING NISSAN QUEST!. NEVER EVER TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP. WE ARE NOT DONE YET, I WILL BE CONTACTING NISSAN USA HQ. WE ARE JUST GETTING STARTED...

Vinny and Mr. Kim are amazing!!! Couldn t be more happy with how they put my needs first and closed out the sale! They were both efficient, smooth, knowledgeable and overall badasses! These guys are assets to your dealership. I m a hard customer to please but these guys put me and my family on a pedestal and treated us like royalty. Vinny went out of his way to make my wife and two daughters feel right at home with his comforting gestures. Water, food, whatever we needed Vinny had it covered.

I had leased a 2013 Nissan Leaf on last month. The sales person Sylvestor was very courteous and helpful. He kept the deal what we discussed over the phone and helped me to drive back home.

The only thing was that I had to wait about 3.5 hours until everything was done. Other than that, I was very happy and would recommend others as well.

My husband and I bought a new 2012 Pathfinder full...

My husband and I bought a new 2012 Pathfinder fully loaded and paid close to $50,000 for it!! I'm a stay at home mom and it's hardly driven!! My GPS can never seem to find the roads I need ( NOT new roads) my leather on the driver side is already pealing where the heated seat area is located! We also paid close to four grand for an extended warranty to cover all the extra features. We were told we would get FREE oil changes ect for SIX years, NOT THE CASE!! I've always taken the truck to Mall of Ga for oil changes and scheduled maintenance as required. It takes almost an hour sometimes close to two hours for an oil change!? The last oil change and tire rotation,they didn't wash my car as part of the extended service plan and they didn't even bother to put the new mileage sticker on my windshield for the next service appointment! When I called regarding these issues with the leather and GPS the customer service I received from Cindy and Gram were less than friendly and didn't even acknowledge these were valid issues!! I DON'T recommend buying or taking your vehicle to this location. People don't spend money to be treated as though your concerns are nothing. I dang sure didn't spend $50,000 for leather to peal off on a vehicle that isn't even 6 months old and has ten thousand miles on it!! I called another Nissan dealership who was nice and told me to bring it in, they would get it fixed, The owner and manager of the Mall of Ga location should re-evaluate how they do business and treat customers, before they shutdown from the lack of respect and not standing behind the products they sell.

Sutherlin Nissan has lost a customer thanks to their Services representatives. Twice I've gone to get Nissan's required recalls (fuel tank issue and hood latch coming loose) and twice I've been told that they don't have the parts. No one bothered to let me know before I went there. Both times, Brooks thought my car was there for an oil change. It was obvious that he hadn't looked at the service appointment record because I wrote specifically for someone to call and confirm that they had the necessary parts. When I went in, Marcus was the only one who showed any level of concern or care. Brooks, on the other hand, couldn't have cared any less literally. In fact, he basically told me to step aside so he could address the customer behind me, and then we could figure out what's going on with my situation. Uhm. No. I left and will not be returning.

I was working with Nesrin SHE WAS AWFUL I wasn't greeted the right way She didn't remember who I was... she didn't show me the car at all, she just put me in and that was that. and lastly she didn't follow up at all!!!!! I could have not been treated anymore kindly than their staff did, especially my salesman Cass. I had called over 20 different dealerships in Ga., Tenn., Al., and Fl. looking for this model and color. No one wanted to deal with me because it is a NEW design change. Most wanted MSRP for it (2015 Murano). But Cass worked with me and management to get the price I was hoping for. He is a top notch salesman. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone because of their staff. I also would like to recognize Alan. He worked well with us trying to get us on the road home because the weather was getting bad and we had about a two hour drive.

You responded 2 weeks back saying that somebody from Customer Relations Manager will be in touch with me, its been 2 weeks you replied in this platform, but sadly no one approached me about the concern and resolution.

Could you please take the necessary action to resolve the issue ASAP, can't be wait this much long and just following up with your finance officers. Please take necessary action to improve the Customer satisfaction and resolve my issue.

April 2019:
I have got very bad experience. I purchased nissan rogue , discussion with the sales person went good but the when I step in to finance magic started. With out my knowledge and clear explanation they have included all security plus policies which worth around 4000$ on top of my total value of the vehicle purchase. I realized after reviewing the docs when I reach home. The next day when I contacted to remove the policies they have not accepted , finally I have called nissan customer service and raised concern and then they accepted, it's been 3 months now I don't the status of my policy cancellation and no one give the proper response , I have called multiple times , but finance guys are unreachable.its very frustrating every time to deal all these things. All I can say is finance team is not transparent here and once you done your purchase ,then they really don't care about your questions/concerns further.

Very much disappointed with my purchase here

Being from the Gwinnett area I have grown to love it s location and it s people. Now a resident of Atlanta I still make the trek back to my home town when making car purchases or trades. Haddy has made and continues to make this experience when dealing with my current and potential vehicles flawless. His customer service is top notch and I would highly recommend speaking with him when you re in need, he will not disappoint.

I was looking to purchase a used car. I called about a Camry that was on their website. The lady said she checked and it was still available. I told her to call me if it became unavailable. After work, I drove an hour in the rain with my toddler. When we got there, a guy informed me it had sold that morning. I was upset as I had told the lady to let me know if it sold. I fact checked a different sales rep and he told me that the car had actually sold the night before, meaning a full day before I even called and had the sales lady verify that it was still available. The sales lady knew it was sold and lied to me. Another sales guy tried to align his story with hers and told me it had sold right before I got there. Lies all over the place. I didn t find out the truth until I asked the random sales guy that was unaware of their plan.

Complete waste of my time. I will never shop at this crooked dealership.

Update: I saw the Loyaltly Manager response. You can t help me, but you can help your business and future customers by firing the Sales staff that employ these type of tactics (which was clearly done). The sales lady was named Madarie.

This is the worst experience I have ever had when purchasing a new car. All of the employees are liars. They appeal to the customer but end up lying to the customers. And the worst of it all is that they make you sign forms and if you change your mind there is no backtracking. The next day after purchasing the car I found out what all I had signed, so I went back to the dealership and none of the employees that where there that day were to be found. So I talk to David Robins and he promised a check request and I never received that money. I return another day to find Mr. Robins and he was no where to be found. When i finally reached him through phone, he denies everything and sends me to the department of finances. So as you guys can see through my terrible experience dont fall for their lies and don't get robbed.

Did not have an appointment for my regular maintenance. However they were able to fit me in and still got me out in a reasonable time. Stuart informed me of other recommended wear and tear maintenance items that also needed to be replaced based on the mileage. Staff is courteous and friendly.

Came in for an oil change and to have a heat issue looked at. Issue was diagnosed quickly and repairs were done same day. Due to length of time for repairs, I was offered a rental car so I could take care of other personal needs. I appreciate the consideration of my time.

I have two Nissans and I have them both serviced at Sutherlin Nissan all the time. I always feel like they provide great service and are seem to be very honest and open about the issues, the prices, etc. They provide very detailed explanations about the problems they find with the cars and are patient in explaining some of the more confusing issues.
The waiting area is clean and has workstations so I can work while I wait or get a ride home.
I highly recommend them for all your Nissan service needs.

Service department is terrible. After over $1,000 in repairs, was told that the repairs done did not fix the car and now the whole engine will need to be replaced. Really guys? Try a different Nissan guys and don't get ripped.
