Sutherlin Nissan's Service Department isn't exactly eager for business. Would NOT recommend their service department! Several weeks ago I took my car in for a door repair on Friday which they informed me wouldn't take long, but would probably need to be picked up the next day. I missed a call that evening about the repair and attempted to call back, no one ever answered, and no one ever called back. The next morning (Saturday), I tried calling again - this time, I was informed that the department was closed due to COVID-19 and that I could call back on MONDAY to see when my car would be ready. It should be noted that I did NOT have a car to drive. The Nissan employee was baffled and after several calls back and forth.... I went to get my car before they closed that Saturday at noon.
I have attempted to call Nissan for the repair 4 times, left 4 voicemails for 2 different Service Reps and 1 for the Receptionist. NO ONE RETURNS PHONE CALLS. Not impressed by their lack of customer relations, support, or communication. DO NOT RECOMMEND. This should have been a simple fix.

My husband bought a used car from them on June 17, 2016. The temp tag expired August 1, 2016. In between there was in issue with finance. So, the original temp tag actually was invalid on July 20, 2016 but no one from Sutherlin Nissan bothered to tell us this. This tag had an expiration date of August 1, 2016. On July, 29, 2016, we went to the local tag agency to get another temp tag but to no avail. They told us we had to come back in August. On August 1, I returned to the tag agency only to learn that this tag was no good since July 20 because another temp tag had been issued due to financing and that we need to contact the dealership to get the tag not the local tag agency. I called Sutherlin the same day and spoke to a very rude lady that directs the calls. She put me to someone's voicemail. I left a message for a call back (never got a call back). But then I decided to call back myself and ask for the manager, Mike. I spoke with him and told him everything. He told me he would get back with me and hasn't. It has been two days and I have yet to hear back from him. I then called back on Wednesday, August 3 and spoke with someone in finance by the name of Curt who explained that he had been out because his mother has been ill and that he has to call me back once he speaks with someone to find out what is going on. I don't see how these people are in business with this kind of poor customer service. How do you cancel a tag, re-issue another one and never inform the person with the car of this. This is absurd. If you are considering buying a car from these people, please re-consider. They are terrible! The car itself is wonderful. Luckily we have a Porshe and a Mercedes to drive while they figure out who's on first with this Malibu? These people are ridiculous! They should get training in how to deal with customers on a more professional and efficient level.

I had one of the WORST experiences here. I had originally leased a LEAF from here two years ago. When the vehicle had issues in few months, their service department was very hard to deal with to get the problems fixed. It was really frustrating, Today I called Andrey Nikoaev (salesman turned finance guy) about renewing lease for another 2 years for a LEAF. I told the sales guy that I worked with before that it is 35 miles one way to drive, I will come only if you can beat the price that I am getting from another dealer. He said don't worry, come on over we will take care of you in spite of me asking / confirming 3-4 times. When I went there their price quote was the most expensive of all the dealers I had spoke to (almost 2 times, like 350-400 for LEAF/2 years lease). It was such a crappy experience. I had to wait for over 1 hour to meet the guy while the store was not even that busy, hardly few customers were over there. Finally the front desk had to call the guy several times before he showed up somewhere just wandering eating something (not busy at all as I was told). So he wasted my time driving down 35 miles and half-a day for nothing. I will not recommend them to anyone what a crappy experience.

So, I received an advertised mail flyer from Mall of Ga Sutherlin Nissan on Monday. It advertised a 2018 New Nissan Murano, which I have been looking for now for 2-3 months. The deal was an awesome one, so I called to check if it was in stock, it was and I went there yesterday to purchase it. When I got there, they stated there was a 10k dollar misprint by the advertiser. I was still interested and moved forward in negotiations until they flat out lied about the discounts. Per their corrected advertisement, the rebates and discounts were $11,207.00, yet per their paperwork they only offered me $8000.00. When I called them out, they changed it to $10,000.00. In addition they had over 5k in dealer fees added in with one being $299 for nitrogen. Really??? Like the tires did not come from the manufacturer with air/nitrogen in them. They had $499 for tinted windows which comes with the car from the manufacturer and is included in the MSRP. Anyway, I did a little research and according to the FTC, all advertised prices have to include ALL charges except your standard tax, title and tax and the dealer is the entity responsible for the advertisement. Also, there cannot be any additional dealer fees or charges over and above the advertised price. Needless to say, I m filing a complaint with the atty general and will spread the word regarding Sutherlin Nissan. Sad part is that between me and two of my daughters, we have bought 5 cars from this specific dealer. I know all dealerships play these games, but if more people filed complaints with the FTC, The Atty General and The BBB, this type of practice would result in very hefty fines and consequences. against them. Have called the General Manager and Mr Sutherlin, neither of whom has shown the concern or common courtesy of returning my call. Per other reviews, this is standard practice for them. Hope my complaints provide results for the consumers.

Fine purchase experience, but that's where it ended. I leased a leaf in December and I have been to Dept. of Driver Services twice. Stood in line both times for about 2 hrs. Got to the service window and they said the dealership had not sent in their paperwork so that I could not get a tag issued. After the first incident, I called Erica in the titling dept. and she promised she would take care of it the next day. I went back 3 weeks later and it still has not been taken care of. I am at the end of my second temporary license term and DDS will not provide another one. If you want to spend 2 days at DDS and waste your time because the titling department can't complete her job - go here. Otherwise go elsewhere.

We just bought a certified pre-owned 2011 Pathfinder Silver Edition. They were pleasant with a good sense of humor. My wfe is the premier negotiator and they got a kick out of her and her playful banter during negotiations.
Finance manager offered to meet us near his house to completed some paperwork details. he lives in the same town as us.
They worked hard to find us the right lendor, fair with our trade, and we walked away with a quality vehicle.
I was a bit boneheaded and didn't notice the alignment was bad, which could of meant SOL at other dealers. But Sutherlin took care of my alignment and gave me the before and after specs as requested.
I was able to work while I waited in their nice desktop setup in the waiting area.

If I could do 0 stars I would. Received a letter from the company called City Lending and was told to bring the information needed to Sutherlin Nissan that I was pre-approved. Call and spoke to the internet manager named Shane and was giving the runaround. I gave all of my information to the representative at city lending and now I am literally here at the dealership and and being told that since I have only been on my job for a little over a month, because the company I am working for will only hire from a staffing agency, everyone has to go that route to get hired on after 60 days with this company. I was not told this by no-one and now no one from city lending will call me back. Do not go to Sutherland Nissan they are scamming people along with City lending to get you into the door.

Their hard deal tactics made me feel extremely uncomfortable and then they took the deal off the table when the manager realized his sales associates had made promises they couldn't keep. We will never visit this dealership again. If you do shop here, avoid, Sal, Travis, and Shelton. They are shifty bait and switch sales men you can't trust. I recently purchased a vehicle at this dealership. I was looking for a Nissan Rogue and found a 2015 SV AWD model. I test drove the vehicle with Mr. Sylvester Gary. From the go, I expressed my concern with the vehicle not having the blind spot Nissan sensors I previously experienced in another similar model. I was not going to purchase the vehicle as a result, but Mr. Gary came back and confirmed that the feature, I described in full, could be added on to the vehicle. I described the feature to him in full detail, as well as showed him where the sensors are, like other Rogue models. The price was an additional $800, but then it was 895 at signing. I was to return the vehicle to have the feature I described, being the Nissan blind spot system, installed at that price. Once I received my vehicle from Brandon in Service, I noticed that the system was not what we discussed. They used a cheaper alternative to the Nissan blindspot sensors, as promised. It was never stated to me that I'd get after market parts at a hefty 900.00. Sylvester instantly started to argue with me, telling me that he told me it would be after market, which he didn't, nor did it reflect such in the invoice. It was never communicated to me that the parts were cheaper after market parts. Sylvester later changed his story saying he didn't know what the service department would give me and I caught him in that change of story in front of the general manager, Andre Nicolai. Sylvester confirmed through that comment that he did NOT tell me they'd be after market parts. Andre further argued that "I got what I got." He would not rectify the situation, nor allow me to cancel the deal and take my business else where. I was told that I would have to bring in the vehicle and trade it in, which would be a lesser value, even a day later. DO NOT do business with this dealership. They are desperate to have customers sign papers and lie later about promises. They basically stole money from me for a cheaper alternative to what was discussed. In fact, the blind spot sensor system I researched, is only 100.00 on the internet. With the install, it should be no more than 300.00. I even have an audio recording of the general manager down playing my description of the horrible alarms on the blind spot sensors when they blink. I described my son looking at me in confusion when they went off and he says, " I get guys in here that say this and say that, blah blah blah." They never rectified the situation and I will share my story and a video to prevent people from losing money.
UPDATE: Tina, the Loyalty Owner Manager, reached out to me to rectify the situation. She helped me get a refund for the misrepresented feature, being the blind spot after market parts, which you should watch out for. DO NOT ask for an additional feature in the model you are looking at buying. If it's not there, it's gonna be aftermarket. This was NOT communicated to me, which is why my review was negative. "After market" also entails over priced parts. In my case, the blind spot sensors were 100.00 after market parts found on the net, which cost me 895.00 at the dealer ship with install. Thankfully, Tina is great at her job and cares about customers. She went above and beyond to correct this issue for this dealership. I am sure the sales team learned from this experience with Tina's help and I hope they don't do this in the future to other customers and to Tina. She has to deal with all this bad stuff. Earlier in the month I received an undated letter for URGENT SAFETY RECALL for my Nissan Pathfinder for passenger bag air inflator. NHTSA RECALL 14V-360-1. The letter indicated that this was the second notice and included a statement:
NISSAN STRONGLY RECOMMENDS THAT YOU HAVE THIS SAFETY RECALL REPAIR PERFORMED IMMEDIATELY. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS LETTER, YOU SHOULD NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE
Let me start off by saying that I never received the first notice. I reluctantly proceeded to the dealer as instructed in the letter. Upon arrival that morning I presented the letter to the service writer. He immediately balled up the letter and discarded it. I was surprised and politely asked him to return it that I may retain it for my records.
The next thing I did was before signing the work order and reviewing it carefully was to write a statement: NO OTHER SERVICES REQUESTED OR REQUIRED.
That same evening I was driving home I noticed the service engine soon light had come on. When I got home I looked at the work order again; I wanted to be sure that no other work had been performed before returning to the dealer. I was wrong. I found that they had went under the vehicle to perform an inspection for rusted struts only to find out later that this recall was only for vehicles in the states where the weather would cause the parts to fail. Well since my vehicle was from California and has always been garage kept this would not apply to my vehicle. I returned my vehicle to the dealership the following morning. I spoke with the service manager Kevin. They took the vehicle in and a short time later a mechanic returned with a laundry list of what needed to be repaired. I was incensed and asked them why they ignored my request not to do any other work than that of what was in the recall bulletin. This would have only placed them inside the interior of the vehicle rather than underneath where all the problems were supposed to be. Apparently they took it upon themselves to perform the other unnecessary service and against my authorization. The problem is they violated a written order not to do any other work to the vehicle.

My salesman sat down with my husband & I after getting us coffee, got an understanding of what I was interested in & let us browse the selection. The financial department was friendly, funny, honest & very helpful with my purchase. Weeks later I am still amazed at what incredible staff this facility has & would not dream of going anywhere else in the future when it's time to purchase again.. The Inventory was impressive and they have very good pricing.. I am baffled by some of these negative reviews, I was nothing short of impressed with my entire experience.

Sutherlin Nissan at the mall of Georgia has "Outstanding Sales and Service". The Sales department listens to what you want and always goes the extra mile to deliver. The Service Department are always very polite and let you know exactly what you need for your car. We have a 2009 Murano and a 2020 Rouge, that we will always have service at Sutherlin Nissan. And when I need a new car, I will go to Sutherlin Nissan.

I have come to Sutherlin for the last 4 years. My service advisor is Stephen Rezmer who doe a great job for me. I have a 2009 Nissan Murano with over 300,000 miles on it and I have always received my service here. There are two main reasons. One is Mr. Rezmer always gives me sound and honest advice. he has never advised me to get any work done on my car that was unwarranted or not needed just so that the dealership bilked money out of me. In 2016 I bought a second Nissan Murano from Sutherlin and also get that serviced here. Sutherlin and Stephen Rezmer do a fine fine job for me and I trust the product I receive.

One time I was there for a recall service. They told me that my brake pads had 2 mm left. After half year I went there again for another recall and they told me that the same brake pads had 3 mm left. Though I had an appointment it took a long time to get to my car and after I refused the brake service they did not even do the recall work. Today I went to another garage to check my brakes and they showed me that there were 5+ mm left on the pads. What a bunch of crooks!
