They had us drive 50 miles to see a vehicle when it had already been sold, if it was even there to begin with. I asked for confirmation of the vehicle being there before we drove so far to see it and they had plenty of time to tell us it wasn't there

Sun Toyota is a fantastic place to buy a car. Our salesman, Jason Bulluck, was fantastic from the beginning to end of our buying experience. He was enthusiastic without the typical pushy tactics you see at many dealers. Everyone there did an awesome job helping us, and the dealership itself is very, very nice. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in the market for a great vehicle with an excellent warranty. See Jason Bulluck, you won't be disappointed.

Wasted 8 hours of driving to come pick up a car that they tried to add $5,000 in fees after negotiating a price. Was paying cash and everything. Didn t even try to pull another car or anything. Not interested in making sales I guess. Lack of care. Lack of customer service. Lack of basic human decency.

Sales guy Tommy Chills negotiated with us and couldn t even be bothered to talk to us after we drove the four hours down. Lied about hidden fees then pawned us off to a coworker.

Update: Their corporate response to my review says they ve been trying to reach me . That is false. No calls, emails, or anything else.

Would not recommend. Went in to test drive a vehicle to see if it was right for me. This was the second dealership I visited in my whole car buying process. The salesman would not let me test drive one until he pulled my credit report, saying over and over that he didn't want to waste my time. He was very pushy and when I said I didn't want to do that, I got the vibe that the guy was pretty much done with me. I ended up buying a car the same day from a different dealership. Just goes to show, if he would have taken a gentler approach and showed me more options, he could have made a sale. I don't think it was MY time he wasn't wanting to waste...

I LOVE Toyota but it seems they were in too much of a rush to complete my paperwork. They did NOT set up automatic transfers as they were supposed to. Half of the information on my insurance side was INCORRECT! they also never sent the declaration page to my insurance so they did not have the right Information in regards to my who my loan provider was and that had to be fixed after almost costing $200. There's also money from my protection plan that I have not yet seen. Like c'mon guys I'm a repeat customer and this has never happened but dang!!!
I LOVED the service I provided but whomever process the paperwork needs to be checked.

Worse experience ever!!! When today to try to buy a toyota tacoma, with a 100k miles , the price for the car online was $10,900 when online to try to find the real trade in value in kellys book and the maximum was $7560, when there trying to get a good deal for it, and between dealers feee and taxes it when up 5000 dollars more. The total price when from 10.900 to 15,800 for a truck that didnt even had that value, also try to speak with the manager to see if he will give us a better price, and it didnt even let me talk, dont waste your time there. I feel very disappointed with this place since it wasnt what i expected and the treatment that i got was the worse one especially coming from the manager.

My Aunt purchased a used prius in Nov 2016.
She had her credit union send a check to Sun Toyota to pay for car in full. The slick salesman brought the car to her with paperwork to sign. The slick salesperson had her sign to go with a new loan company WITHOUT HER KNOWLEDGE. He must be compensated by Grow Financial. The car was dirty, the 160 point check was completed in September by incompetent mechanics, they didn't even check the Navigation system or the key fob. Battery did not work. Key was missing the door key. Navigation had previous owner information. So many things are wrong with this sale. My Aunt was exploited by this Unethical Company. Go to any Toyota Dealer, but Run from Sun. That should be their marketing slogan. RUN FROM SUN.

We first shopped for a truck online and when we were ready to purchase we went in. It was a good experience, Sandy was very kind, genuine and down to earth and we really appreciated that. While we were waiting Austin (the young one on the sales team) gave my husband a very detailed knowledgeable explanation of the new 2018 Camry. He was so impressive in his presentation my husband had to ask him how old he was (just 20 years old). He came back to where I was seated and told me I missed out on the best car presentation ever. He was so impressed by Austin's knowledge, articulation and finesse. That young man is headed for success. This is our 3rd car from this dealer. Can't say enough about how dedicated they are to good customer service.

It was a very cold morning, however I got a very warm reception from Michael my Service Mgr. Oil change, tire rotation, went flawless, and had a great breakfast at the Cafe while waiting. Barely finished eating, and my call that the work was completed came. Great service, great work, and good food. In and out in about an hour. You just cant beat that!

My Experience was painless! My situation was a challenge to say the least. The team went over and above and made sure that I left happy. Gage Alexander the salesman was kind, courteous and extremely patient. Never once was he pushy nor aggressive. Tiffany in finance, came to me with a great deal..offering me extras and lowered my interest rate ..none of this never increased my payment. She was not your "typical finance manager" either. My husband and I recently retired to New Port Richey from Gainesville, my 2009 Toyota Yaris was due for an oil change and I needed windshield wipers changed and tires rotated and new wheel covers as I had lost one. I called the service department, made an appointment and was greeted by friendly people and a very friendly service advisor Michael Mckinely who took care of coordinating the service I needed very professionally and politely. I was very impressed and pleased that Sun Toyota is very customer friendly. The service was completed in a timely manner and they even washed my car! Thank you!

Customer Service was excellent, Sales Rep Matt went the extra mile to help and to make sure we were a satisfied customer. A++. Finance proces with Greg, worst nightmare ever. 2 weeks later, still trying to fix the huge mess he created. He lost some of our paperwork, including our agreed purchase price which was sign my 3 people. Somehow, They also lost the $250 gas certificate I was issued for making an appointment with the eteam. When I called to ask about the different issues, I was told that since the deal was already funded and they lost the paperwork, there was nothing they can do. Dealership manager would not return my call, I left numerous messages for Greg, no return call either. I asked for finance manager to complain about Greg, no return call either. If you go to this dealership to buy, make sure it is not handle by Greg, run very fast if he tries to "help"

i recently bought a rav4 limited. i was very happy with the price, service and selection at sun toyota. i was especially happy with my sales person bryan whelan-- he was a very knowledgeable, professional young man, which i appreciated. even though i had researched what i was going to buy aforehand, i asked for his advice and followed it. he had insights that only a full-time, well-trained, toyota salesman would have. he even delivered my car to me when it was ready, which is at least an hour drive each way. i therefore highly recommend sun toyota and their staff. finally, i'm looking forward to buying an all-electric car from bryan in the future.

Recently purchased a 2020 C-HR with the help of Leslie Gray and Tommy Chills.....love the car, great experience!

Prior to test driving, customer spoke with a Mexican salesman whose countenance and personality was more like a drug cartel warlord rather than a salesman. After trying to work out a deal using a buying guide for new cars and trucks, we could not come to an agreement on the price because a new pickup truck shouldn't cost more than 40 thousand dollars for the basic model, a work truck. The deal stunk like a Mexican bean burrito sitting out on the sun too long building up flatulence. As the deal unfolded, the initial prognostication unfurled, and lo and behold, we were off the lot before we know it without a truck let alone a gift card with a serial number my friend and I each have. Something was amiss when the sicario salesman with his silent angry disposition told us over the phone and in-person that he didn't need our addresses or identification/drivers license. How would the amigo know where to send the gift cards if he didn't know our addresses? Unless he has connections we don't know of then he would never know, and eventually he didn't because he got angry like a silent but deadly fart and we never received anything through the mail.

I went and talked to " Gabriel Forehand " about a family mid size car that would still get great gas mileage and I'd have to say hes one of the best guys I ever met. I could tell he cared, his knowledge was Incredible on the vehicles as if he designed them himself!!! I'm not a car guy but he made everything easy to understand. When I make my way back in there I'm definately getting the car/SUV that he refers. I had to come rate him because I feel he went above and beyond to make sure I knew exactly what I was getting my bucks for. Thank you.

I drive all the way to Holiday to have my car serviced because I always get good service. I am greeted immediately and everyone is very sincere. The wait time is very good. The area where you wait is spacious and comfortable.

Only place I trust to do my maintenance on my Camry.

Pleasant, Comfortable, Experience! My husband and I are beyond satisfied with our new car purchase from Sun Toyota. I called to find out about the uber program and spoke with both Lee amd Bryan. They told me to come on in when I got here I was greeted by both of them. Lee took me out to show me the cars, test drove, gave them my deposit got the information for the insurance, went home paid for the insurance the next day call them came back, came up here and went home with a new car. They were both so respectful, helpful and made this process seamless. Xavier was also extremely prepared the moment I walked in the door to sign papers he had everything ready for me and was very efficient. I would like to also add that they were very knowledgeable in this program given it was new to them, they really knew what they were talking about. What could have became a very bad experience turned out to be one of the best car buying experiences my wife and I have ever had.
We bought a rare used Mustang from Sun yesterday and couldn't have been more pleased with the overall experience.
Mr. X was fabulous and if he isn't in some sort of management position, he should be. He turned a couple who were upset into happy customers who will be back.
Mr. X, Scott and the rest of the staff we were in contact with were professional, courteous and went above and beyond to make up for any negative first impressions. They are both men who truly take responsibility when things go wrong and then do everything they can to make it right.
We highly recommend Mr X and the staff at Sun Toyota and will return when we're ready for that new Toyota!

My salesman Kenneth O'Shaunessy was very courteous and pleasant to work with. He did not try to pressure me into making a quick decision as many of the others did while I was shopping My Toyota Scion is great so far.
I have only one complaint and that is the wait for the paper work. I was told it would be 30 minutes and it was 90 minutes. I was about to leave as no one would tell me how much longer it would be and I had to pick up my son.
I also like the fact that Sun does not charge the $699 dealer fees.
I would definitly recommend Sun Toyota. This is my second purchase there and it is a 20 mile ride from home but definitley worth the trip.

We went in very skeptical because we were told by another dealer their price was too good and we should expect a trick. But we were given the price they quoted and there was no pressure to buy any extras. A pleasant experience.

I highly recommend SUN TOYOTA of Holiday, FL over all other Toyota Dealerships in the Tampa-area including Courtesy Toyota of Brandon and Stadium Toyota of Tampa. The others may claim to be "bigger and more volume" which would equate to the "best deal". I found that the numbers I generated from dealings with Courtesy and Stadium Toyota were helpful when I purchased my two 2019 Toyota vehicles at SUN TOYOTA recently. The sales person, Al Wahba and his management team at SUN TOYOTA were responsive to make a better deal than the other Toyota giants in the area. Give them a try and they will certainly impress you! It was time for my first maintenance, I was inbetween the 5000 and 10000 mile maint. My service person was Dan and I was on a schedule, I have a sick family member at home. My appointment was for 1pm, they took me in early, they did both the 5000 mile and 10000 mile maint and detailed my car and had me out in 45 mins all the while treating me like I was their only customer. From the first day I bought the car to the first maint, the Sun Toyota Dealership has treated me with A1 care. Thanks Sun Toyota I am really pleased I bought my car from you guys.

I went in there to get my truck serviced. The sales guy was going to see if I could trade the leased Tacoma in and get a car. They never got the payoff on my truck from the finance department and or told me if they can trade it in. I ve called in 3 different times now and got told someone would call me back. Pat Hayes? No call back and a guy just said he would get me to a manager and hung up on me. So unprofessional. This dealership gives Toyota a bad name.

After 13 years of servicing at Sun Toyota & Scion we decided to trade our 2002 Camry in for a 2015 Corolla. We spent hours with Willy Patti, who was as attentive, informative, patient and eager to please (without being pushy!) as any salesperson we have encountered. Likewise, our accessory and financing contacts. Joe Reth, General Manager, stopped by to chat with us and we received a more than fair trade-in on the Camry.

Willy has followed up several times to see if we had any questions or concerns. He even set my Bluetooth for me as he could tell I am challenged.

Perhaps, next time we won't wait 13 years, but we loved that Camry! Looking forward to servicing this car, as that too has always been a pleasant, stress-free experience.

Leslie the sales rep is neither knowledgeable or service oriented. No follow up from mngt. They owe me a key ($300-$500) and it is impossible to get. Just horrible to do business this way. Quick to sell, but after that you are S.O.L.

Had a good experience with a routine oil change. I was out in less than 45 minutes. They did not try to oversell service.

Just bought my 2020 tacoma on 5/24/20. The sales person Giovanni German let me drive all the trucks with no pressure until I found what I wanted. Gio was on top of things no questions ask. Thank you Gio and the sales manager cool guy. One more thing please bring back the other coffee machines you guys had before. Do it for your customers Sun Toyota bring those machines back and get rid of the ones you currently have they are not the same quality. Overall,thank you everybody.

Befor meeting Mr. Eddie Chavez, he had already pre qualified us over the phone and from the sound of his voice he knew exactly what we needed. Later that day, after showing us the features and benefits, he gave us a Corolla to test drive for a day so we could be more comfortable with our decision making. Every time we had questions, he had the answer. At that moment, he went from sales-man to sales-friend. He was never pushy or intimidating. Casually and professionally, our experience in finance went smooth as the car was detailed for us. As he gave us the keys, he reviewed some safety features and sent us on our way in our new Corolla. I traded in my 12 year old Camry recently for a new one at Sun Toyota. Toyota makes a great car. The Camry I traded had 209,000 miles and I never spent a penny beyond maintenance. Sun Toyota was a great place to shop. I was referred by a friend to Omar Ghanem who was my salesman at the dealer. Omar was so friendly. He was courteous and professional. I had a hard time choosing the exact car and Omar allowed me to test drive any car I wanted. He returned with me to the lot multiple times while I contemplated which color/style/options I preferred and was patient with my decision making the whole time. I never felt pressured to buy anything. Omar was very nice to deal with and upfront about everything! I highly recommend you look him up at Sun Toyota if you are in the market for a vehicle. Everyone we met was Phenomenal. Chris Ryan helped us but since he was new, nick helped us a lot too. Willy was a great spirit and my Italian roots really hit it off with him. Scott was a great person as well and all of his personal photos around his office were a great talking point. We definitely ended up spending very much out of our budget and we will definitely struggle now but it was a good day and a great experience.

Sun Toyota demonstrated world class experience with the handling of my vehicle purchase. I purchase my vehicle in November and words cannot begin to express how extremely please I am with everyone that was involved with my purchase. Prior to purchasing my vehicle at Sun Toyota I went to several other dealership where the service was disappointing. However, when I decided to go to Sun Toyota everyone from the sales person Aaron to the financial manager "Frank Vatale" and the floor manager Red Bear went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that I experience phenomenal service that they are known for. And to add to this experience the whole process toke less than an hour an half to complete. There was no sales gimmicks and price hagggling. Sun Toyota is the epitome of a top rated dealership. While taking my Toyota Corolla in to Sun Toyota (Holiday, FL) for routine maintenance, I inquired about trading my Corolla in for a Prius hybrid car. Jason Modugno (Sales Associate) was very helpful and was patient in answering my questions. He went above and beyond to make me feel welcome as a Toyota customer. Jason let me test drive two different Prius cars, one 2014 model and one 2016 model and took the time to explain in detail the features of the cars. Jason quickly provided me with the lease and/or financing options for both cars so that I could easily pick the car that better suited my budget. We have been customers of Sun Toyota for over 26 years and have generally been treated with respect and kindness. Our Sienna was part of the massive airbag recall and we were given the option to drop off our vehicle and a rental car was provided until the repair was available. Once the airbag issue was fixed, the rude and condescending treatment by the "Top Assistant Service Manager" award winner (not to mention the continuous mistruths spoken by this employee!!), along with the rude and negative attitude by the service department manager, were beyond disappointing. There was a complete disregard towards customer service and/or trying to resolve any concerns I had. Our vehicle sat outside for 10mos and I had asked for the tires, belts and hoses to be checked; I was told they were not authorized to do that, but they could check only the fluid levels in the car and the air pressure of the tires. If I wanted anything else looked at, I would have to pay for it. There are too many erroneous comments made to type here, but suffice it to say, my family will no longer visit this dealership for any of our future car needs (and with two teens ready to start driving, and another one a few years from that, we will be needing cars!)

Both sales associates were extremely knowledgeable about the Tacoma and were extremely curtious to me and my both brother who accompanied me. I would gladly purchase another vehicle from both these salesmen again.

Michael sawicki and Omar was nothing but good to me from the time I walked in til the time I left with my 2019 Toyota Camry they went over and beyond for me I couldn t ask for a better salesman if you want a car I definitely recommend Michael it was a pleasure and I m so excited to have my new Camry

went in for my 10k service...was able to make the appt from my phone for 730 that at 6am...very lucky!! Wish i had known about the new upgrade to the building serving coffee and breakfast/lunch items, I wouldn't have stopped at McDonald's!!! Personnel were friendly and attentive, service was quick and reliable...really enjoyed hanging out in the lobby waiting for my car...thank you!!!

I went to multiple dealers across the state to find the best price on a 2019 Tacoma. Prior to coming to this dealer ship I dealt with multiple dealers so I knew what I wanted to pay for the truck. Of all the salesmen Nael was by far the most informative and knowledgeable of the vehicle. They did not have the particular model in stock I was looking for (cement TRD sport with premium package) but he was able to locate it in a matter of days. I was able to get the best price by a large margin in comparison to other dealer ships without taking too much of my time.
