I ordered and had installed hurricane impact windows from Storm Tight and was very satisfied with this company. I did a lot of research and had many quotes before deciding to use Storm Tight, and although the windows were pretty expensive, compared to the others I feel that the quality vs. the price was worth what I paid. The windows are beautiful and the installation process was seamless. The installers were on time, covered EVERYTHING in my rooms, and cleaned up thoroughly when finished. The only reasons for not giving 5 stars was the price and the length of time it took for the windows to come in. I would recommend this company.

We chose Stormtight because they had installed the front door and another window for the previous owners of our home. The price was steep but the quality of product justified the cost. They were about a week maybe two overdue on the install, but that was acceptable as the product had to be manufactured. The install went without a hitch, initially. The installers were very professional, neat , and courteous. However, we are now a month or two since the install and we are still missing parts. For whatever reason they cannot seem to get the end covers for our sliding doors and one window. The area is covered by a curtain, but it is the principle. When you pay that much for a product you expect all the pieces to show up and be installed. We were missing a screen, that finally showed up. I would give them five stars for quality of product. Four, maybe four and a half stars for installation, but the customer service is a little lacking that is the reason for the three stars. I am in the aviation maintenance industry and customer service will make or break your business. Quality and customer service are the most important aspects of a service provider in my book. Stormtight really needs to work on the customer service problem. From reading other reviews, it is a serious problem.
Don't waste your time or money with this company. They are probably the most incompetent and disorganized company in Palm Beach County. We purchased windows from them last year. The installation took over 6 months to complete. They did a sloppy job and and after months of arguing about damaged windows, screens and overall very incompetent window installation they finally sent someone to finish the job. At that time we were told they already pulled the permit for our windows so we have nothing to worry about. Today we received a letter from Palm Beach County - Building Division that the permit was never completed. I called Storm Tight to talk to someone but just like in the past I only got to leave messages with requests for call back. Nobody from this company ever returns phone calls to unhappy clients. They will only return your phone calls if you're calling to purchase their windows. Stay away from them!

Promotion SCAM ! Was told we were getting a great discount because they would use our property in their advertisement and take before and after pictures. My mail carrier was told the same. Neither ever saw before and after adds or pictures ( - One star for the fib). I had to follow up on my order just to find out that it was sitting in the warehouse but no one bothered to call and schedule the installation ( - another star). I moved and covered all of my furniture for the install, even scheduled time off from work. After the installers were 2 hours late I called to find that they needed to postpone my installation ( - another star). Once the installation crew showed up for the 2nd appointment, they were VERY professional and were able to complete the work in one day instead of 2 days. The windows look great but I feel that their sale gimmick should not be used if they believed in their product. I should have shopped around and compare reviews before placing an order for 20K

Windows came in and crew installed them in the allotted time. Unfortunately there where some issues due to shipping with the windows but Storm tight quickly set up a service call to fix the problem. Overall I am happy with my purchase.
I requested a quote from the company via text from a promotion I saw on TV. I received a call the next morning. The call took about 30 minutes just to set up an appointment. The appointment setter said that in order for them to come out I had to meet several conditions.
1. I had to be the home owner (no problem)
2. I had to have at least 3 windows I needed (I need 10)
3. I had to have all persons making the decision present for the estimate.
This is where it all went south. I explained that my wife would not be present as I work from home but she couldn't just take off to get an estimate. This was after I was told that the estimate would be good for one full year. So WHY did she have to be there? I explained that she could not be there and they said they could not make the appointment. they informed me that the appointment would take about 3-4 hours.. 3-4 HOURS? To measure some windows? They told me how the rep would measure, input the data into his iPad to get the quote, and show me the product and explain all of the ins and outs. That's great, but I JUST NEEDED a quote. And if you are asking for all decision making parties to be present then you are expecting a decision...which makes no sense because according to you the quote is good for 1 full year. She insisted that there would be no hard selling. I kept saying that I didn't have 4 hours for a quote, when I still had to get 1-2 other quotes from other companies for comparison. It was at this moment that I was told that I was not an ideal customer and that they would rather just not make the appointment so that I do not waste their time. At which time she hung up on me.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????? Waste YOUR TIME????? But you want to spend 4 hours at my house to give me an estimate??? I've been through this with other companies making "presentations" when giving quotes but are actually making the hard sales pitch trying to wear you down. This is a disgusting and shady sales practice and to tell me that I am not the type of client you want is insane and ridiculous!!!!
I will be getting windows. 10 of them...and two sets of sliders...but most assuredly NOT FROM YOU!!!!

StromTight was the only company that could meet our tight deadline for installation prior to the peak of Hurricane Season. They came out as scheduled and got our windows installed. Good follow up post install.
The second worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. Incompetence and apathy abound. It has been five months since the building permit was issued, and I am still waiting for Storm Tight to schedule an inspection.
The storm windows are good quality, my only complaint is that a high end window for which I paid at least 50% more that those my neighbors bought, doesn't have left and right panels on the side sliders. In other words, they flip the window panel over so that some windows have the latch facing down and others up. It seems trivial, but is a regular annoyance whenever the windows are opened, and on an expensive product like this, they should at least go the extra step.
The shutters are cheap, and badly installed.
NO recommended they took one year to complete a job that takes one week.
They broke a lot of things during installation , such as bathroom tiles, walls frame, and damage my plants outside.
When they sell the product , with a lot of pressure from seller and closing people , they offer the CEO phone number and general manager (they never answered our complaints).
NO follow up from at all.
My experience with Storm Tight was very good, the guys cover everything, clean after everything was done and explained the whole process really detailed.
The salesman was great and the rest is downhill from there. The communication between the company was very slow. It took forever for anyone to come out and "fix" my issues. They sent out sub contractors which they said they don't do. The screen door was broken when it was installed. The door is not straight. And there are gaps in the trim of the door. Over all the quality of this door that was way over priced was absolute horrible and would not recommend this company to anyone!
Got my windows installed less than a month ago and I have rain water coming through a window! So much for storm tight! Rain is dropping down from the top screws called yesterday but they couldn t help me. Have to call a different number on Monday. Meanwhile my walls are getting soaked from the rain coming through the seals.
Storm tight windows did a great job. They were very professional and made sure to clean after themselves. They protected all the furniture in the home from debris by covering them with plastic wrap. If you need impact doors and windows, give them a call.
They custom made and installed sliding patio doors and double-hung windows in my house; the job was done on time and their installation was very professional (they even cleaned up their work area!)

I was very impressed with the quality of the glass and frames they use on their products and all the protections these materials offer (UV and noise protection, energy efficient, they can protect against hurricanes, storms and even burglars...)
I can't feel the savings on my energy bill yet, since they installed my windows and patio doors so recently but I expect to start seeing some savings on my next bill. :)
They are not the cheapest company, but I don't mind paying more for a product of quality and that's what I got.
I feel protected. And this sense of security and peace both for me and my family is worth every penny I spent of my new windows and patio doors!

Storm Tight employees were profession, friendly and capable. Our windows were made, delivered and installed in good time. Installation was excellent. Eddie and his crew were professional and efficient. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure our cats didn't get out. I LOVE my new windows. The windows kept the noise from my neighbor's party outside. (YaHoo!!) Our air conditioner broke the day after installation of the windows. I thought we would need to stay at a hotel until the air was repaired. But we could turn the air on/off at the circuit breaker and the windows have kept the cool in. Wonderful all around experience!!
Form the first consultation with Richard the sales rep I've had a great experience. Richard was patience and very through. I felt like I was talking to a family member. The windows were installed when promised and the installer arrived on time and dress in the appropriate virus attire. They protected my belongings with plastic covers. It's been about 5 months now and a hefty deposit later and I still haven't heard a word about my windows. I've called a few times and transferred from one person to the next and still no response... I've even left messages; (And as I write this review, I have been on hold for over 30 minutes already). I've got to say that I ignored the reviews when they came with their flashy sales pitch. I said "no" the first time as it was very expensive and I got a better quote from a competitor. But I got a second call from a supposed "manager" - which I have yet to confirm - and he came by for a second visit and brought down the price considerably and mentioned that it was a special price because of the "area I lived in". I took it. Left a deposit, got approved for financing and was told I'd have someone come the following week to get measurements and have everything complete in the next couple months. Okay... so it hasn't happened yet and I am VERY DISAPPOINTED. I only gave 2 stars instead of one as I have not seen the quality of the windows or the ease and precision of the installation. Otherwise - Customer Service is a 1 star. They were great at trying to make the sale - poor in keeping me happy after I signed on the dotted line. Please be weary in purchasing with this Company - and don't fall for their sales pitches. If I'd gone with the competition, I'd have impact windows installed by now and would have paid less.
Storm Tight installer "Joe" completed a challenging installation in a bare concrete wall in the garage with only a rough cement finish. He then added a Formica strip at the bottom to create a finished sill that complements the beautiful hurricane glass picture window. Talked to the Palm County inspector who signed off on the installation, who said he never has any problems with Storm Tight. Now all my windows have been replaced by Storm Tight, and I am very pleased and would highly recommend them.

I am the proud owner of Storm Tight hurricane impact windows. Anyone who is looking for hurricane impact windows, I highly recommend this company. The windows are constructed of high quality material and are constructed very well. The cost was slightly pricey, but affordable if you are on a tight budget like me, wherein I was able to utilize the Florida PACE program financing for home improvements for the first installation, I elected to personally finance the second installation of doors. After the windows were custom made, it took the installer only three days to complete the installation. My wife and I now have peace of mind as the next hurricane season approaches.
Just a side not, after installation of my doors, I experienced a problem with one of the doors and contacted the company several times, It eventually took a month for someone to come out. It took the serviceman 5 minutes to rectify the issue.

Actual Results
1) they did not start on time and no one reached out to give us an explanation as to what was going on, or when the new start date was going to be. I had to call repeatedly to find out what was going on and it was very hard to get in contact with a couple of the numbers that they gave us. Finally called Lee Brown and he had someone call us back. Project was supposed to be started and finished within three days in the second week of November, did not start almost 2 months later.
2) First day of installation: my wife and 2 neighbors call me at work saying that the installers were arguing and cursing very loudly at my house. At that moment I tried calling Lee Brown but of course he did not answer. My wife then then calls back and says there are police at the house. Installation did take 3 days and the one installer who did the job did clean up after himself.

I will not list the Cons but whoever is reading this can take from it what they want. In the end I guess we ended up with better windows that what we had before.

Every phase was executed with professionalism, respect and in a timely manner. The quality of the product is also top notch. The installers were very professional and knowledgeable and we found no problems with the installation and neither did the county Inspector who passed it first time. The house was left in pristine condition with no debris in sight. Anything they sale you are able to get from a diferent company for at least 40% less...the installers told me they dont pay them to and no one on the company treat you good after you buy...dont waist your time with this company
We were in the market for hurricane rated windows and were impressed with the product and price. The install was fantastic, kept the work area clean and did the job right. What a difference the new windows have made, can't believe we waited so long to get them. Everyone we dealt with at Storm Tight was responsive and professional :-)
I'm back in FL to get mom's house modernized as she's recently retired. Part of that was choosing impact windows in lieu of shutters. We've been fortunate to have dodged a lot of serious hurricanes here in south Florida but things change.
Our representative was very courteous, knowledgeable about the workmanship of the products (incl. competitor product), and allowed us as much time as we needed to come to decisions as a family. The whole process is thought out. We never felt rushed or that our rep was not attentive to us. It helped that the installers were all friendly and took care to walk through the house without damaging anything.
The construction of the window frames seem extraordinarily strong and is rated to Miami-Dade Co. impact standards. They are rated significantly higher than the minimums set by the State of FL and the warranty is INSANE.

I am just puzzled about this company's sales strategy. The rep came to my place, after l told him about a BJ's affiliated companie's estimate cost for my project , he only said that they can "come close" to the competing price estimate, but he could not disclose the exact price to me ?! Wanted me to make a decision the same day, before he even demonstrated anything about the product or even tried to convince me why I should give the Storm Tight my business. I said I want to get one more price estimate before making a decision. After I firmly told him that I definately can not make a decision right away, given that I dont even have any price estimate or anything from Storm Tight, he abruptly left, saying that I should contact them last after I am done checking out the competition. Not going to happen as I went to New South windows showroom where I was given a very professional and informative information about their products and honest up front pricing that beat BJ'S company estimate by a significant amount.

I had these windows installed a couple months back were late showing up sent me two men very nice but didn't speak any English so had to go through a third party on the phone for questions for a week while they were there very inconvenienced had to have them come back out weeks later to fix the screen door and the lock on the sliding door have been contacting them for several weeks now been told I'll receive a call back on my screen door that still hasn't shown back up it's been a disaster very dissatisfied for the customer support when you call and the managers are not much help either.
Absolute pleasure to work with. They were on time, extremely cautious and CLEAN. They did their own follow up inspection aside from the City inspection to make sure everything was up to their high standards and that we were happy. Highly recommend!!

I researched various storm window companies for my condominium. When I ran across the advertisement for StormTight windows I was very impressed with their advertisement. So, I called them for an appointment to get an estimate and the representative graciously scheduled me an appointment.
Upon the arrival of the salesperson he was very well dressed, polite and curious as to what type of windows I wanted and why. He proceeded to discuss the type of windows available. He showed me the various types of windows and the advantages of certain types of windows. Once I selected the type of windows he became excited and started to share his extensive knowledge of the windows and poured out every detail of them.
I really appreciated his honesty, professionalism and salesmanship in delivering his craft. I found him to really care about my needs and welfare for selecting the windows. I felt delighted that I found an honest trustworthy and caring company. That I signed the contract and from that point on the company took total control in gathering all the necessary documents to finalize the sale. I was so pleased that the burden of gathering the information was not left on my shoulders. The company keep me informed of every detail and status of the windows until the windows were installed.
Afterwards, they still contacted me to ensure that I was satisfied with the quality and the process of the installation of the windows.
I must say that I am truly grateful, happy and satisfied with my new windows. They beautify and make the rooms really spacious and comfortable to live in.

The salesman was very professional and the sales experience was very informative with many demonstrations which made the decision to go with Storm Tight very easy. The quality of the product is unsurpassed compared to their competitors.
The sales process was very informative and they give you a discount if you sign on the spot. But after you sign the papers, you re nobody to them. Expect to be the one chasing after them for scheduling (and re-scheduling) and follow-up s. They only give you a 10-day window for installation, then threatens to return the windows to their factory. We had multiple windows to install, and they promised us a big crew to complete installation in 1 day. On the day of installation, a crew of 3 guys turned up, and the whole process dragged on for 2 days. Then we found issues with the windows, we were the ones chasing after the project manager for him to come take a look. We arranged work from home day to work around his schedule, and then he never showed. Then we were hit with the pandemic, which put a hold on everything - and we know it s out of their control. I got a letter from the finance company stating the day of our first payment was due, I called and emailed the company s Finance Manager Tristan Brown why I need to pay for something that isn t complete and while the permit is still open, but never heard back till this day. Clearly the finance company already made the payment to them, so they don t care. When they were finally able to come back to fix the issue, the crew smoked and threw the cigarette butt on my lawn. Then our inspection was bumped 3 times in a row, because they only call it in the day prior. They tell you that it s a process that all contracting companies follow, but not what experienced contractors told me. At the end of the day, I have to say that the quality of the windows are good, but be prepared to put up with a company that does not deliver the service they promised.
Update: Your PR lady is very diplomatic and lacks fact-checking. A lot of the issues occurred prior to the pandemic, and covid should not affect how you communicate with your customers. Also, I personally called the City s Building Division for clarification today. They have stated that appointments for inspections have to be made at least 24 hour beforehand, but can be made as much in advance as needed.
