The Elton John wax sculpture from Madame Tussauds ...

The Elton John wax sculpture from Madame Tussauds upon entry was a fun surprise. I was only able to experience the lobby for a post wedding rest stop, but the venue was extremely clean with modern furnishings. It was nice to find many electrical outlets throughout the lobby to charge my cellphone low on battery.

Nice clean hotel with comfy beds and pillows. rooms are a little dated and walls a little thin. the restaurants brick & beam and the wardroom are newly furnished and have good atmosphere and decor. there is a good selection for buffet breakfast although a little expensive if it's not included with your room. in a good location 5 minutes from the fisherman's wharf

It's the best! The attention is very cordial always worrying about providing the best possible information. Some receptionists speak Spanish so it makes the experience more familiar to some. You can send packages purchased over the internet and receive them at no additional cost. The rooms are very clean and the cleanliness is first class. The rooms have 2 large beds and very good distribution. The price is high for my budget but it is a very good experience.

The hotel can not complain it is all good but the associated restaurant is a disaster of the lowest order. What they offer as food is no different from the offer of a booth on the roadside. Chips & fish and lots of such delicacies.
Therefore only a sufficient for the hotel!

Price was a bit steep due to the fact that all the amenities are not available to the guest. The customer service was great. The room was extremely clean. The rain fall shower, I thought would be great, but its actually harder to rinse.
Close to the fisherman's warf and pier 39.

Thank you to the staff at Hyatt Centric! My sister and I went on a road trip, a sister sister weekend roadtrip to honor the passing of our father. He loved San Francisco! We were visiting a friend in Sacramento and then decided to go see SF just as Dad would encourage us to. He'd say "you're only a short trip away" so her and I did. We went, rented bikes and took on the Golden Gate bridge! So much fun everything was so beautiful and we knew our Dad was with us. On our return we went to Scomas restaurant his fave! But...when we went to get our car we were locked in. That's when we discovered Hyatt Centric and they were able to accommodate us, we actually took the last available room they had left. We think Dad made that happen. Again, we were just here for the day all our stuff is at our friends house in Sacramento, we're from LA so yeah! We just biked for 6 hours, tired, SF had really worked us out! The staff at the registration desk hooked us up, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, motrin, and phone chargers. Not only did they provide the essentials but their kindness was everything my Dad spoke about the SF residents! The staff had no idea what we were going through with the loss of our sweet Dad but they did more than just accommodate us they gave 2 girls from West Covina an opportunity to stay in our Dad's favorite town and feel everything he always claimed to experience when he and Mom visited...kindness, happiness and adventure. So again, a big thank you to the Staff at Hyatt Centric Fisherman's Wharf, we will definitely be coming back next year for our new annual Sister, Sister roadtrip!

We visited SF Hyatt Centric at Fisherman's Wharf to have a short leasure trip with a family. It's in very friendly location to walk over to Fisherman's Wharf, Ghiradelli square, and Pier 39. Very close to any location to geab a bite. Also you can park your car in any street parking location, which is free 6pm-9am. Hotel service reps are very friendly, room was clean. Recommended if you plan to visit SF and stay in a night!

Wife and I stayed here for an anniversary getaway ...

Wife and I stayed here for an anniversary getaway trip! This is a great hotel and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great location, good breakfast restaurant and the staff at the front desk and the concierge really took care of us.

There is also a sports bar called the Brick & Beam attached to the hotel that is a decent spot to grab a quick bite or cocktail before heading out to explore SF.

Rooms are fine. Pillows were a little flat for my needs but bed was good. Next time I may try to get a Suite so we have a little more room but it was fine.

For us early risers there is a breakfast/Starbucks type store setup by the front desk with coffee, food, muffins and other snacks and drink for purchase before the hotel restaurant opens.

You can walk to almost any spot on the Warf from this hotel.

This hotel made our anniversary trip very special and we appreciated it.

We stayed here on the last night of our honeymoon. The receptionist was super sweet and listened to our stories of our hikes through the Muir woods. The room was nice. Only complaint would be the shower. Who designs a shower that you have to stand under to turn on. Ain't nobody like a blast of cold water to the head!

Super friendly and helpful staff, and high class shared facilities. Prices reflect this and the location rather than overly opulent rooms, which are nevertheless spacious with comfortable beds. The only downside was that the plumbing can make a heck of a noise when used by neighbouring guests at 5am (stayed in room 419).

Excellent location, the attention is second to none and the room impeccable.
I highlight the work carried out by the young receptionist named Jessica, she is very cooperative, kind and hospitable.

Great service, well-insulated and updated room, outstanding location. The neighborhood has plenty of tourist traps but there are some fantastic bits of history nearby - the maritime national park, a bar that claims to have brought the Irish coffee to the US, and several local taps that have served all sorts of notable SF figures.

I would not recommend staying here if other options are available. The bed and bathroom were clean and the staff was friendly, but there were room service plates and cups along the hallway for multiple days. The outdoor pool was not heated and not clean. It was a safe location close to many attractions, but I felt the photos and marketing were misleading. My expectation from the photos was higher than reality. It's not a bad hotel choice, but perhaps isn't as luxurious as you'd expect.

The location is great, the rooms are large, clean and in good condition. The staff was very friendly! The hotel is handicapped accessible and child friendly. In the area you can discover a lot, the pier for example. Would book the Hyatt again!

Walking into the hotel with thinking this was a gr...

Walking into the hotel with thinking this was a great choice.. I was sadly mistaken. Sure, the lobby is beautiful but their front desk clerk was very pushy and very misleading. Typically in my experience the hotels tell you there will be a pending charge to your account for $100 for incidentals and the hotel will charge your account in the end. NO. They charged it all at the beginning as if we already created incidental charges. When trying to understandably hey do it this way the clerk was very rude and loudly says oh you can t pay for it? SMH No, we just want to understand. So that s the first bad part. Later into our stay we go to their convince store inside the lobby and prices are straight out not listed on the drinks and VERY pricey. Better off going somewhere else. Also not to mention that if you ask their register clerk a question he straight out has attitude with you. Hotel rooms are nice. Cozy beds. Didn t mind the small hole in my comforter so much. House keeping is good. Rooms were nice and clean. That s why I m giving it a 3 star. Would have given it a 5 star however customer service was just awful! I hope it changes and no else has to experience that.

Decent enough place. Very little information in the room about the hotel (restaurant/menus, floor plan, ice machines, etc.) Hotel was unfortunately under strike/labor dispute when we were here. Hated to cross the picket line.

I was pleased with this Hyatt. Rooms were spacious and nicely appointed: comfortable beds, plenty of counter space in the bathroom, tastefully decorated. Wifi and breakfast are not included in the rate, which irked us; why nickel and dime patrons at the expense of their experience? It's worth noting that the elevators are painfully slow and you may be walking down several long hallways before finally making it to your room. The location is fairly central and convenient. We were in and out for a work trip and didn't get to take advantage of the area, though I did like staying near Fisherman's Wharf far better than the Union Square area.

They have valet parking $59 overnight. Rooms are comfortable and have a modern style. Bottled water is $5 inside the room, but if you go downstairs, they might give you a water bottle if you tell them that you couldn't find a water fountain.

It was awesome to stay there. Very complete hotel, it's big, well equipped, the rooms are big and sound isolation is pretty good, nobody will annoy you. The staff is very nice and they will help you in anything, as expected. Food was also pretty nice and varied. Totally recommended.

This hotel did an absolutely wonderful job hosting our event. The food was top notch, we had so many healthy choices all during the morning through the evening. Wonderful place for any event and the breakfast in The Wardroom was also very good, lots of choices from the buffet. Quiet at night so you can sleep well and very clean. The market place was a bit over priced on most all the items and there is only one microwave over in the entire building, none in the rooms.

Pretty good place overall. A few things that kept me from giving it five stars were no bathtub in the room, the lighting fixtures had to be turned on individually with the lightweight only operating the entry light and the lights were glaring when they were on. Otherwise it was a clean facility with good service and a good location for tourists.
