Missed the... appointment, no call no show after calling to confirm with 30 minutes of personal questions about income, marital status, work, .... called office would not reschedule without 90 minute presentation. Said I wasnt the customer they wanted to help.

I just want to take this opportunity to recommend Storm Tight Windows for doing an excellent job installing my windows. If you are looking for Hurricane impact Windows Storm Tight Windows is the company to hire for the job. They took measurements on my schedule they came and showed up on time they put plastic down to protect my furniture and belongings they removed all the old windows away. Their staff was very professional. I just want to thank Storm Tight Windows again for a beautiful job. I was the winner for the December drawing that Storm Tight Windows gave me $25,000 check to do my home as a makeover. Without Storm Tight Windows I would have never been able to get my whole house completed I just want to say thank you again

Great company to do business with. The installation and financing was smooth. The installers were polite and on time. The salesman was friendly and very knowledgeable. I love my new Windows! A++ company.

Worst company ever it s been almost a year doing the back and forth with this company. The owner Mr. Brown will never call you back or anyone from this company to resolve any matter. The sales guy will tell you one thing but it s totally different after, DO NOT give them a dime!!! You re better off donating. These people are incompetent and unreliable having no clue on anything. Six different times they came out to measure my home each one came up with their own measurements not even matching the prior person. The interest rate that I was promised they cannot fall though with it so now they are pushing for me to use YGreen! YGreen is famous for putting liens on your house which if you try to refinance after your windows you cannot. So no saving with insurance companies till your loan is paid off.. check WSVN they did a segment on them. You ve been warned about these thieves!!!!

Clearly you have the wrong customer which shows how you do business. Because for 4 almost 5 months you guys claim that you could find my social and that s it s invalid. Gave it to you over and over and still your company was incompetent to get it right and my work order. I have excellent credit and any bank gives me a low percent. Not only your company is calling me after hours asking for my social security number from their cell phones which is very fishy. My windows didn t change size over night so yeah it s your guys that keeps measuring wrong. For a owner you rather hide behind a computer trying to make yourself look better since I wrote a review warning people about your company. You also sold my info to other companies because now I have people calling about home improvement. Let s face it you re a thief point blank!!! You cannot be trust with anyone info... Some of your employees and ex employees that I have spoken too even talk bad about you how you don t pay right and they are forced to lie just to make a sale. BBB has been notified.

I replaced all of the windows in my house with Storm Tight windows. I like the product. There were some problems with breakage during shipping, but STW stood behind everything and replaced all damaged windows. This caused a lot of time to pass between the start of the job and final inspection. Installation workers (both subcontractors and company employees) were all good. Office personnel were for the most part friendly, professional, and helpful.

We purchased our windows from Storm Tight Windows for hurricane protection, but ultimately they have done so much more for us. My wife came home to discover that two men were hammering away at our back window trying to break into our home. The windows were impenetrable and they could not break through. Without these windows my wife and children would have walked into the house with burglars inside. The police said everyone should have these windows. When we called Storm Tight that night to report the incident they answered the phone after hours and were ready to help. They are a fantastic company.

I almost feel bad for the representative that showed up to the house. He was cool. I asked if I could skip the videos and just get to the numbers. He called the boss and I could hear him on the phone and the boss said "good luck with their choice then if they don't want to watch the videos". I subsequently kicked the guy out, thanking him for coming out. Horrible, and no home owner should have them out for a quote. Period. Bad Business model. Horrible.

Storm Tight windows were very helpful from the moment I called to set up my appointment. The demonstration of their windows compared to my current windows was night & day. The quality of the windows, safety they ll provide and savings with the AC sold us right away. The other brand windows couldn t come close to Storm Tight. You won t regret letting them inside your home.

Promised to finish our project in 10 days when we signed a big contract for the whole house in Oct, 2017. It's been 3 months since they started on Jan 8, 2018 and after multiple errors/re-installations, changing personnel, messy processes, they have managed to Fail the City of Plantation Inspection 3 times on basic compliance issues. Job is still not finished and the Official Inspection is still outstanding! We were upfront in asking for a reasonable discount for their dismal performance and delays, and they are threatening to put a lien on the house! Disgraceful response given their service level. PLEASE STAY AWAY!! We just want the nightmare to end!!! Premium price is not worth the product.

We had French Doors installed last week. The installation crew were professional, clean and answered all of our question. The manager even came and answered even more questions. We had a great experience.

Very disappointed. One of our windows cracked under pressure within days of installation and it took months for Storm Tight to come out and repair it. Once the windows were finally all in they failed inspection through our city and needed to be removed. It has been almost a year since our original purchase and we are still waiting for this process to be over.

I was an installer, they say they pay every week (nothing but lies) I had to place liens on 5 houses , Storm tight didn't care one bit . but I'm sure the customer does , they can't keep contractors because They don't pay, if you are a contractor Do Not work for these people

Super happy! Last hurricane my house was fully protected I didn t have the need to stand in line and buy plywood for my windows. Storm Tight Windows have given me a piece of mind! They also called me to see if I had any damaged windows so they would be covered under my lifetime warranty. I was pleased to let them know nothing happened!

I love Storm Tight Windows (STW). I did my entire home in three stages, and STW was great to work with. Lifetime Guarantee is serious: a cracked window and a screen with a small rip were replaced at no cost.

My experience with storm tight it has been good, My windows and doors look fantastic!. It just depends who are the contractors who does the job. Make sure if you schedule for the installs ask for joe. On every detail you notice from cleaning, wrapping the plastic in your couch, etc. thanks guys!

While it took some time to get done, the end result was worth it. Great service from the installers. Awesome windows.

My husband and I are very pleased with our new Impact Resistant Windows. We feel much safer and the windows have most certainly improved the look of our home. The service has been a very positive experience from day one, when the sales representative thoroughly explained the process and a detail of the windows. He didn t rush or try to sell us something we didn t want.
The installers were excellent and tried their best to minimize and dust and debris, while installing the windows. A big thumbs up to them!
I would most certainly recommend this Storm Tight Windows! Great Job!

We ordered our windows May 2016. It is now August 2016 and we're still missing 2 sliding doors and a window. They've taken so long to complete the installation, the original financing agreement was actually canceled by the bank!

A supervisor named Ray came over after the financing was canceled. He assured us that if we signed a new finance agreement, he would guarantee finishing the job by end of day Friday. It is Saturday and the company was a no show, and they still have no idea where the manufacturer shipped our windows.

I called to complain that this was not acceptable and he actually hung up on me. Ray refuses to return our calls and we're left with only a portion of our windows installed six months later. The original salesman who sold us this deal has quit and we can't get ahold of him.

In addition to how long this process takes, the installers have damaged walls inside the home, as well as damaged brand new exotic hard wood flooring on the stairs. We were assured damages would be compensated as well as reimbursement for time off work. Now they won't even answer my calls.

Avoid them at all costs. Take your business elsewhere. They do not manufacture the windows and the installers are sub contractors. If I could give them 0 stars I would. The only redeeming quality is that I'm sure they will not finish before the next financing agreement is canceled by their bank a second time.

Very satisfied with the easiness to decide on the right windows and the excellence of their customer service. I must also report on the great installation process by seasoned professionals. I was anticipating a mess but was surprised by the fast and clean performance. If you are considering impact windows for your home, Storm Tight is the way to go!

StormTight was professional all the way through the process of buying my impact windows for my home. Measurements were taken numerous times to ensure proper fitting windows, and there was great care taken during installation to make sure that we were safe and sound when the team had to leave before coming back the next day.
My fiance was in charge of monitoring the installation while I was at work, so when I came home and started being super picky, he wrote down everything and told the team about it the next day. By the time I got home everything was so much better than I had expected.
2 little down spots, and I do mean LITTLE: The install team ripped one of my curtain rod brackets out of the wall during either removing the old window or installing the new one, and we are still waiting on a crank cover for one of my casement windows (the install team had brought one for the opposite direction).
Overall, I am so satisfied with the purchase of my windows - waiting on final permit inspection and then I can officially "unwrap" them!

We contracted Storm Tight Windows to install three windows. The Technician was very professional and focused on the installation. The job was completed within 5-6 hours. The rooms were cleaned to the point you would not have known the window installation was ever done. The windows work very well and I am very satisfied with the work.

Since July 3rd that we signed contract and still don't know when our windows will be installed. Several phone calls and left messages but not a call back on last 4 weeks. Very disappointed after this extremely expensive investment :-(

I recently change all the windows in my house. I m very happy with the product and very satisfied with the service in general. The employees were very professional, courteous and patient. The Storm Windows team took care of everything from the financial to the city permits and even the cleaning and inspection after the installation. I m very grateful for all their help and the excelente job they did. I love my new windows and the new look my house got!

I texted them based on a TV offer. They called with some cheesy you won fake offer. I was in need of new impact windows so listened for 15 min and scheduled an appt for following day. Then another person called me again later in the day wasting another 15 min to prospect me again. She was rude acting like she was doing me a favor. If I m going spend tens of thousands with you then be more professional. These are time wasting hard core advertising tactics.

We are completely disappointed with the customer service or should I say lack thereof with Storm Tight Windows. There is absolutely no communication from this company after you sign the contract. After several repeated phone calls (always initiated by my husband) we finally got the windows installed. The workmanship is sloppy and not professional. Their finish work is terrible. The foreman who showed up on the first day of installation had major anger issues. He was swearing all day long (F bombs flying out of his mouth) while working on our windows. The second day this guy started swearing consistently again. My husband asked him nicely to watch his language. This guy clearly wasn't happy being spoken to about his language. Believe it or not he proceeded to start smashing the glass from our windows with a hammer that had been removed from our kitchen. This was on our pool deck. Of course glass was flying everywhere including into the pool. My husband spoke to him again very nicely asking him to stop smashing the glass and the guy turned on him like a viper. As a result we immediately called the owner of the company and left him a message telling him what was happening and we never got any response from him at all. We did get through to the general manager who was apologetic and said he would take care of this problem. He did remove this lead guy but not that day! He replaced him the next day with a new guy. The GM came out to our home the day after this incident with a plant ( peace offering) and again more apologies. He handed my husband his business card saying if we needed anything to call him. We had an issue with one of our windows so we called the general manager. We still have not heard back from him. So much for calling him if we needed anything. We have never had to deal with this kind of incompetence and lack of responsiveness when hiring anyone to do work in our home before. We paid a lot of money for these windows and unfortunately are not completely happy. My advice is to stay as far
away from this company as possible. I only wish I had read all the reviews on this company. I would have shopped around for a better company with a better reputation. Live and learn!!!

My house is only 2 years old with builders grade insulated windows. I had hurricane windows installed because I had 2 heart attacks and unable to install storm shutters anymore. The new windows are super I insulated and look great. I feel more protected from storms and burglars now.. thank you Stormtight.

They were quick and professional. They came on time and worked hard throughout the day. The windows are beautiful the slider works great as well as the windows. I would recommend this crew to my neighbors and friends should they need replacement and safe windows

I am excited about getting my new Windows. The sales associate was prompt, knowledgeable, and pleasant. He answered all our questions, gave us detailed explanations, and showed us a sample of their product. The overall experience was educational, I was able to use the knowledge when meeting with other STORM window companies, and it was clear which option we should choose, Storm Tight Windows.

I love the opportunity to FINALLY be able to get Hurricane Impact Resistant windows on my house. I was able to enroll in a government program to pay for my windows. Although it took 4 months for the windows to be constructed they were installed in ONE DAY!! It was great! Plus I love the incentive and rewards programs that Storm Tight offers.

This is a cautious recommendation. I have to give them 2 stars. The presentation that was given in my home was very informative and many of my questions were answered well. I had shopped around a bit and found pricing to be similar for what I was looking for. So, after a positive sales presentation whereas Jerry talked about the company and assurances of great customer satisfaction and the involvement of the owner in the company activities down to the purchasers level, I decided to sign. Finally, the installation day came June 10, 2020. The crew was careful to protect my flooring and walls. They hung a plastic sheet to contain the dust. The windows were installed. Upon looking at the windows, I noticed on each of the 3 screens where the paint was damaged. I pointed it out to the installers and was simply told it was from the packing. I was not satisfied with the answer. He tried to clean off the dmage was found that it was into the paint. He then took some white paint and brushed it over the areas. The finished product was atrocious. He seemed satisfied. I will try to include photos of this at the end of my review. So in further discussion it was obvious we were having a communication problem and ended up using the translation service via his iphone. I was told that each crew would have a fluent speaking english person. Not the case here. Also, as I further looked at the finished installation, I noted a screw was missing from the one of the latches. I pointed this out and he looked in his truck and had no other screw. I told him that I would have to call the office to discuss these issues since he did not have any other way to rectify the problems. I then asked about the stickers on the window. He told me that after the city does final inspection, someone from stormtight would come to remove them and clean the windows.
The crew left. After the crew left, I texted pictures of the screens to Nick to show him my dissatisfaction. Soon after, I received a call fro Andressa at the office. Now I had to send her copies of the pictures. Andressa then informed me that she would send another crew out to look at the screens and replace the screen. On June 17, 2020 the very same crew came out. I dont know why. We found ourselves once again speaking to each other via the translator on his iphone. He asked if the company had inspected the windows. I said they did not, but the city signed off. Well now we found ourselves at the very point we were a week ago and they still didnt even have the correct screw for the lock. The installers did remove the stickers though. I then placed a call to Nick. We had a lengthy conversation and I indicated that I was not happy paying 9k for windows that had brush marked paint repair. Nick then provided me the phone off Lee Brown, owner??? I left a message for Lee to call me. I dont know if he ever did. By this time I am quite perturbed with this company. In the meantime the tech had been talking to someone at the office and advised me that 3 new screen would be ordered. So, up until now I had decided that rest of my windows that were going to be done next year, would be done by another company. Today June 30, 2020 a new crew came out. They were totally fine. I discussed with them the issues of the original screens and the defective lock. This crew carefully examined each screen and installed them, replaced the lock and had me evaluate the work. I was quite satisfied. I really feel that the proper thing that should have been done by the original installers is to point out the flaw, contact the office and arrange for replacements then and there. Then they would have been able to tell me about the flaws and that it would be rectified. It would have saved a lot of distress and inconvenience. Based on the prolonged phone calls and long discussions, I feel that I cannot in good faith recommend this company to anyone.

I just spent 4 hours on a Saturday morning, alone with my two toddlers while trying to listen to this mans sales pitch. Finally came down to the final step and then threw a price at me and basically told me his company wasn t going to do business with me if I didn t sign a contract that day. Thankful I told him to pick up and leave after he tried to haggle his manager down to meet my expected budget. Sorry I wasted so much time with this guy who was only looking for an immediate sale. Don t trust these guys and don t have them come over unless you re ready to sign an overpriced contract!

2 days later I have been called by a manager trying to explain to me that the sales person I encountered was new and that he was going to offer me a highly selective city marketing program to use my house as way of marketing their windows. He mentioned that his offer was going to be "at cost" and that I should take this review down. My response was that I would never recommend this company to anyone regardless of the price of the windows. Little do they know that I read other reviews of them using the same schemes on other customers who turned down their high-pressure sales pitch!

The Storm Tight people have installed windows for me prior to this installation. In fact, some of their windows have weathered Hurricane Irma. These are really good windows; easy to clean and they keep my house much cooler. I also noticed that the house retained its thermal heat better during those cold days we recently experienced. Amazing!

Love my new windows. Found company at home show and they were local. Haven t had to test them thru hurricane yet,thank goodness but they are noise and heat filtering as promised I would recommend this company

Storm Tight has a great product. Our picture window is beautiful and brings the outdoors indoor. Sales rep did a great job presenting the product, however he did tell us S.T. does not use subcontractors--YES THEY DO! Windows received within timeframe quoted. Installers (subcontractors) were polite and friendly, yet messy and not great at cleaning up after themselves (glass & screws left outside). They were also in a hurry as they had other jobs to go do--installed our windows in 1 day (10 hrs) instead of 1-1/2 days. This also true when they came back to "correct" an issue. Communication with staff was also an issue--not returning calls or not returning them in a timely manner. End result--beautiful windows, installed well, secured over and above requirements per final inspection. We did not expect so much frustration, however, end results worth it.

Very satisfied with Storm Tight Windows. They performed the job in a timely manner and left my home as clean as it was when they showed up. I was satisfied with the price and the payment plan they offered me. I would highly recommend this company if your looking to replace your windows with impact windows.

Superb Quality Hurricane Windows. I have part of the house done with Storm Tight Windows and the other parts of the house with PGT. There is such a difference in the quality of the StormTight product over the PGT that I wish that I could go back and only get the StormTight product. Their product blocks more heat, more sound, and their customer service is excellent. I Definitely recommend them for all of your window and door needs.

New follow up 6/5/20. I just remembered to add an update to this review. I had a window crack due to stress. They made it simple to report it and send them the pictures to have it repaired and replaced. Awesome customer support after initial purchase.

Salesman spent 3 hours in my house..from 6pm till 9pm. Showing a long presentation and all I wanted was an estimate. He gave us a crazy high price that after calling the supposed "president of the company" almost went down half but he was pressuring me to sign the papers at the moment witch I didn't feel confortable doing. They called the day after and I didn't like that much of insist. I'm glad I didn't make businesses with them specially after reading all these reviews.

Horrible, horrible experience from the very beginning. They did an awesome job selling the contract, and then practically forgot we existed. SIX MONTHS after the contract was signed, we get an email that our door was being made in the factory and hear nothing from them after that. Another couple months pass and I receive a letter from the city stating that the permit they filed to begin construction was about to expire (naturally, they took forever). I contact Storm Tight right away and they said they could have the installers come in less than 1 week to install it. So... did they have the door completed and just forget about us? Or rush the completion of the door because permits were about to expire? Door finally gets installed and looked good. City inspector comes and the door fails inspection. Storm Tight never filed a 'Note of commencement' to the city and the number of screws visible to the inspector was not the number they filed on the initial permit. On top of that, the VIN of the installed door is different than the VIN they filed initially. We're still dealing with this headache and inspectors from the city calling us in the middle of the day when we are at work to be let into our property, when I have asked Storm Tight REPEATEDLY to please put on the inspector's note to call 30 minutes before arriving. For the very high price we paid for this sliding door, we expected a wayyyy better experience and everything to be done properly. I hope this prevents someone out there from making the same mistake we did and purchasing an overpriced sliding door just to have to deal with all of these headaches. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

We were impressed with the quality of the windows and agreed to have 5 windows replaced. They have been put in and look great. We have noticed a decrease in outside noise as well. The installation crew was fast and did a great job. Our only issue was with communication. Between signing the contract and installation it was tough to get answers on scheduling and we were contacted by the different people for the same question.

The windows and doors are good quality. However, their service is terrible, they send someone over to talk for over an hour about how they are committed but when they come to install it takes them forever to get permits, one window came dented and it was NEVER fixed (Over a year ago) when getting the front door permit it wasn't even requested properly with the city, broke a window sill also never fixed, the French door handles were installed loosely, the grids took over a year till they put them in and two are still missing, never finished filling in the holes from the shutters. Every time I call I am promised a return and that someone will come but that never happens. Worse service ever and extremely expensive.

Have only dealt with the sales and accounting departments to date. Windows are scheduled to be installed within the next couple weeks. So far everyone has been terrific and very responsive.

I had to confirm this company s appointment three times over the past month via phone.
They continued to ask me the same exact questions every single time they called; including to make sure that I had the same date and time available... which I never changed.
On the third call from some female supervisor I was given some passive aggressive attitude when I reminded her that I had already verified this appointment twice. But I can overlook that part.

My appointment was scheduled for Sunday morning at 9 AM.
NO ONE SHOWED UP.
I was sent two text messages on Friday and Saturday morning asking for an additional confirmation.
Those two text messages said:
Greetings from Storm Tight Windows. This is a courtesy text to remind you we have you on our schedule for Sunday at 9:00 AM. Please text back 'C' to confirm on or before Sunday morning by 7:00 AM Thank you kindly. We will still show to the appointment if you do not text back.

"WE WILL SHOW UP to the appointment if you do not respond" ... Ok so I didn t respond. They should show right? No.

Then on Saturday evening at 8 PM I was sent a third text message (which I did not read until the morning because I do not live on my cell phone, I live in reality)....
That text message said:
Greetings from Storm Tight Windows. This is a courtesy text to remind you we have you on our schedule for tomorrow at 9:00 AM. Please text back 'C' to confirm on or before 7:00 AM Thank you kindly. This is the 3rd and final attempt, if you do not text back to confirm your appointment, we will have to cancel it.

I shouldn't have to respond via text on the third text message at 8 PM the night before which says something DIFFERENT at the end.
*Especially when I have verified over the phone three times already! (phone calls which are definitely recorded)
I was in bed before 8pm not answering my phone. Not responding to text message re-confirmations.

I m sure that this company does quality work, but they really need to improve their customer service and their records custodian or scheduling trainer needs to be fired before anyone else wastes their time.

We met them at an expo where they had a booth setup. They offered us, $1,000 Gift Card if we scheduled an appointment that day. We were held up with them at the expo for about 30 minutes while they called to schedule the appointment. They insisted that both my wife and I be present for the appointment and schedule around both of our schedules. We set the appointment during our lunch hour at 1:00 on Monday (today). We were to expect a confirmation call prior to our appointment. At 1:00 I called them because I had not received a reminder call and it was 1:00 and nobody was here. The woman said, "I was just about to call because our technician is running late and will be there around 2:00".

I simply cancelled the appointment and urge anyone to avoid this company. They have very poor business practices and do not respect their customers time.

The team did a great job and this summer has been a lot easier to deal with since the A/C bill s been cut in half and the house is always cool.

Let me start with the positive: their product is nice. It looks great, and if they ever get fixed in our home, they would probably work great.

That said, their customer service has been horrible thus far. They say they will fix a problem, but then don't. For example, my husband took time off from work to be here for the installers. They didn't show. They called at the last minute to let him know they wouldn't be able to make it. To make up for that, the regional manager, Brandon, assured me and my husband that we would get a $200 check to make up the difference of pay. That was almost a month ago, with nothing more said.

The installers came, and because we do not speak Portuguese, there was no ability to communicate with them for issues. They came to our home twice, once for the majority of our windows, the second to put in our specialty windows. The caulking is already cracking and the only windows that currently work properly are the casement windows.

When it comes to communication, this company needs some major overhaul. We schedule appointments through someone named Dominique. She never called to confirm the second appointment for install, and the only reason I found out in time was when the project manager, Chris Campbell, called me to try and do damage control. Of course, that was after multiple unanswered calls and messages from my husband to him had come about.
To top all of that off, I was just informed by my husband that the inspector was scheduled to come to my home today. This is after my husband had spoken with Dominique to have someone come out and fix the problems we already have. A manager was supposed to come out this coming Saturday, which was scheduled by my husband, but no one ever called to schedule the inspection.

For such an expensive product, the customer service needs to catch up. At this point, because of all this hassle, I would not recommend the company, even though the product itself is good.

The people whose work at this company are ver y professional and have very good Knowledge about the products the y sell.

Their Windows are very bua cuality and I am ver y happy with the quality of the Windows and with the experince I have had with them si far.

Replaced all my windows, except the one that is out of reach right now. Very professional, clean, responsive to requests. I hope to use again for my sliding glass door.

We instantly heard a difference in the noise reduction from the outside. When I walk through the new sliding glass door it feels more like I'm walking into a cooler. Great investment.

The reason because I am rating them only with 4 stars is that on the time of the installation the installers made a mess they only cover part of my furniture, the floor end it up dirty, they did not finish the installation on time, to finish the installation they rescheduled 2 times and finally on 12/24 the job was done... nice people but they need to follow the rules/safety at the time of the installation.

Again the quality of the product is # 1.

WORST EXPERIENCE IVE HAD IN MY LIFE! 8 MONTHS TO GET MY WINDOWS (WHICH MOST WERE MADE WRONG AND DIDNT FIT, INSTALLER TRIED TO CALK ALL AROUND THEM WHICH WE SAW GAPS THROUGH THE WINDOWS AND WALLS. CALLED FOR SERVICE, THEY SAID 2 WEEKS AND I TOOK OFF WORK THAT DAY (NO ONE SHOWED OR CALLED)!!! I PAID A FORTUNE COMPARED TO MY NEIGHBORS AND NOW WE HAVE ANTS BUG, AND SPIDERS GETTING IN THROUGH WINDOWS. WHAT A JOKE, WE ARE SUING THEM FOR SURE!

I have to say without a doubt that Storm Tight Windows truly puts its money where its mouth is. From the moment I sat with Mike who presented the windows, negotiated a great price and proudly harped on their build quality which included the difficult-to-get Miami-Dade certification; until Frank showed up for final inspection...every aspect of the process was on the mark and stress free. Attaining permission, permits and all the paperwork was handled by Storm Tight. The trained installers took care of business in one full day of work. They were neat, punctual and professional. My six new double-hung windows open and close with ease and the soundproof quality is awesome. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Storm Tight Windows to anyone looking to install hurricane impact windows. It's a no-brainer.

Our experience obtaining windstorm proof windows and sliding doors from Storm Tight Windows was a total success from original contact with their sales person and cell phone contact with the company owner to go over a detail, through the installation and job completion. The entire job was thorough and finished on time to protect us from Hurricane Irma.

They don t pay their employees. Have them using their own car to drive two hours away and they will keep you waiting for months to not pay you and keep hanging up the phone when you call and even to the point where they won t answer when they see your number calling.

First, I'd like to say they have a fine product. The windows are very nice and the sliding doors are heavy, and smooth operating. Very nice windows and doors.

We went through their presentation and was impressed with the windows. We were already set on replacing our doors and windows so the sale was easy.

Installation was fairly smooth, the installers were professional and courteous and did a good job, with a neat installation. I wish to note that the installers are sub-contracted. So depending on who does the job, the result may vary, since they do not use their own installers. However, the crew I had, did well.

All workers that were on site were courteous and made the effort to please us, ensuring all was satisfactory.

The weakest link in this company chain is the office. There is a definite lack of communication there. For example, the installers finished the job, listing out what the next person needed to do (finishing work). The person comes for the finishing work and is unaware of what was left from the previous job. The next person comes after the inspection to plug the holes and he is not fully briefed either. Another annoying incident dealing with the office is when I needed additional weep hole inserts, I was given a hard time in trying to get them. They finally acquiesced but why the hassle considering the exorbitant amount of money we spent? For the office experience, I took off a star.

I can definitely recommend this company for the products they offer. I can also recommend them for the service I received, for the most part.

A friend of mine referred me to this company because I am in the market for hurricane Windows and doors. They gave me a hard time in setting the appt after I explained to them that my husband would not be part of the decision making in this situation and that his name is not even on the deed to the house ( it was purchased by me BEFORE we were even married). After awhile they finally set the appt, however, when the rep came to my home he couldn't understand/accept the fact that my husband would not be having a say in this decision and proceeded to pack up his computer and other demo items and tell me that unless my husband is there, they will not continue the presentation or measuring in order to provide a quote. He made sure to specifically say that "it's not because I'm a woman". Couldn't tell!! Well, I hate to break it to ya Mr. Cocky window sales rep - This isn't just a man's world anymore. In my house, I'm the business owner, breadwinner, and decision maker. Not to mention the wife, mother, and homemaker. A damn Super Woman! Had you taken the time to comprehend that, you might have been able to win me over and make a nice commission off of my agreement. Apparently this company is doing pretty well since they have the nerve to treat their women, "potential", clients in that manner. I could go on and further explain how uncomfortable the rep made me feel, but you get the point. He made a few more comments of why my husband should be there to explain things to me, as if I wouldn't understand a presentation about Windows, completely insulting my intelligence.
Now after reading some of the reviews, I'm glad this happened because it seems that this company would have just caused more headaches down the road. So thank you for doing me the favor. I was able to meet with another company later that day and give my business to them, a company that treats people with respect and listens when the client tells them who is the decision maker.

Very professional and showed up ten minutes prior to appointment that was awesome. All interactions with everyone has been great. The presentation for the windows are very detailed and informative. My only complaint is the presentation needs to be streamlined a little better so they are not repeating the same thing over and over. You also have to watch a video which goes with the verbal presentation but the salesman spoke first then showed the video. The video is cool because you get to see how their windows stand up. Overall great company so far. My windows have not been installed yet so I ll see how it goes. But so far so good.

Introduced everyone in the crew,explained everything and how long it would take.
The either moved or covered everything in each room they were in.
Cleaned up after work Was complete.

This company set up an appointment with us and didn't show. They offered us a $500 discount and stated the guy got a flat tire. About 2 months later, after they called several times in a row, we decided to set up another appointment with them. Again they didn't show. We received a call the following day stating they were running about 15 minutes late for their appointment. We explained that appointment was set up for the previous day and they stated they didn't have any record of this,but would be out today, but they were running 15 minutes late. Guess what, when we called back 1 hour after the scheduled appointment, we were told the representative got a "flat tire" (again???) and they would give us another $500 discount and can they come over the weekend. I asked for a manager to contact me directly. Do you think I heard from someone... (NOT!) This company is a joke. Don't bother. It's a scam or a huge waste of time. Either way, not worth it. I wonder how many times they will have to no show on their appointments for me to get free windows? I wonder if they would even show to install them after I've paid for them...??? Hmmmm. Great questions. Please consider these prior to using this company.

Looking to get new hurricane proof doors for my condominium and rememebred receiving their business card at a broward arts festival so decided to give them a try. Julian was my first contact and he seemed pleasant enough and advised that someone from the scheduling team would be contacting me to arrange an in home appointment to show us their different options for doors and give a free estimate. When Rachel (scheduler) called me and asked what I was looking for, she very rudley advised me that she would not send anyone out to give a free estimate becuase when I was only looking to buy 2 doors and made the comment that they have a 3 window minimum. She proceeded to give me a "rough" estimate of $5000-$8000 for each door and that she would only send someone out if I was interested in spending that amount.
My question is why spend the money of being visible to the public handing out business cards when you're not willing to do business when its not considered a "big" job. really left a bad taste in my mouth.

We chose to use Storm Tight Windows for the quality of the window. We are extremely happy with look of the finished product. However, we were told that the widows would be measured to an 1/18 of an inch so the window would be a perfect match. When the windows were being installed we noticed that there were some, what we thought, larger gaps than necessaey from the window to the frame. We are still waiting to hear from the management in regards to this. However, we were ensured by the unstaller that it would not compromise the integrity of the window. We also had a screen frame that was scratched upon installation.

I replaced my doors 2 years ago, and completed the project by replacing the windows in 2019 . I find the product superior to many others offered in the marketplace. My home remains cooler since the argon gas between panes prevents the western exposure of my home to heat up, thereby lowering my electric bill. The removable window feature is a bonus. I will be now be able to clean the outside portion of my windows indoors

Great company, always keeping me updated with the progress of the impact windows. During installation, the installers were even awesome cleaning up after each window install. Only nice words to say about this company!!!

Decided not to go with Storm tight Windows bec of the price quote. It was double.
However, the quality appeared to be the Cadillac of windows.
Perhaps you would have gotten the contract if you would have given me the lowest price first rather than negotiating from the top

Storm Tight took a long time for installation. Over 6 months due to Homeowner Association changes and requirements. Had to do a lot of emails with Ken Ramirez to finally get it done. Installation staff were excellent and cleaned up after themselves. Though we were told our electric bill would be reduced up to 40% we have not seen that yet even with a new AC system installed also. We used a home equity loan to get it done as it cost us $14000 for just 3 windows and a patio door. Very expensive. But glad to not have to put up storm windows and the security. Had to spend another $500 to update our security system on the new windows and doors. You have to follow through yourself to make sure it gets done. Dorothea Smith-Wimmer

Product is great, windows are fantastic and doors are awesome as well. Very high end looking and just look tough. Had zero problems during Irma. Windows are custom made so there was zero damage to exterior or interior of home. 4 stars only because 3 out of the 6 windows originally came wrong size and both sliding glass doors were wrong size due to measurements being wrong, happens. They did tell me it would take about 6 months to get everything and ended up taking about 8 months. Wasn't happy with 2 of the windows they installed and they replaced no questions asked.. not very good at following up so I was calling all the time but other then that everything went well.. I would recommend.. i had 6 windows and 2 sliding glass doors installed

Would rate a 5 but it took sometime to schedule and installers forgot to show us how to operate the windows. Once scheduled they were very efficient. Installers were professional and friendly.

The installation crew did a spectacular job completing the project to 95% completion on the first day of the job! The company was professional and committed to making our experience as painless as possible. We would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone. . Their windows are high quality and their service is first class.

Very professional our experience with them was wonderful from beginning to end. From their sales persons to their installers. When they installed our windows they were very proficient ,professional ,and courteous they make sure everything was done correctly and after of the installation they picked up all the old windows and all the materials making our yard nice and clean. We we would recommend them highly to anyone wishing to install new windows.

With all these negatives double the cost estimate is a no go. They quoted $30k for a small condo, others quoted only $16k-$18k. And then the unwanted phone calls...

Extremely unprofessional sales representative. He did not leave any sales material or even a business card behind after spending over three hours of our time.

When we told him that we were not interested in committing to a purchase on the spot he went off the deep end - literally mocking us and even making (or pretending to make) a phone call to his "manager", while standing five feet away from me, apparently trying to embarrass me into changing my mind. Perhaps their sales training should include a blurb on "don't speak negatively on the phone about your customers while standing in their living room."

The windows seemed to be an excellent quality and were within our budget. I told the rep that I didn't have enough information from his presentation to make an informed decision. I told him that a "lifetime warranty" is only as good as long as a company is still in business. The Sales rep had alluded to reductions in hours at the plant, and gave other indications that the company might not be around much longer.

He stated that the company had zero unresolved customer complaints, but couldn't explain the lawsuits, including at least one class action lawsuit, against the company. (look for Stevens v. Storm Tight Windows, Inc., and Lasalle et al v. Storm Tight Windows, Inc. et al).

He refused to even consider giving us some references for past customers, something that I've freely received from several past contractors. He seemed to be under the opinion that his sales video was wholly sufficient, despite a good portion of it being about alleged customers complaining about generic competitors' previous installations.

If you are sitting through a presentation, pay attention to the terms of the warranty. He made it sound like an unconditional warranty, but the paper presented to us (that he refused to leave with us unless we put money down) clearly stated that it covered only defects in workmanship of the metal, did not cover labor, did not cover gas leakage, etc. When I brought this up with him he dismissively said "we can write in whatever you want." I'm sure that he was fully aware that this is not how product warranties work.

I can't speak for the post-sale support, but the way that my wife and I were treated in our own home was extremely unprofessional. I can't imagine what their post-sale customer support might be like, if this is how they treat potential customers who haven't even given them money yet.

I'd definitely recommend that potential customers not give in to the "on the spot decision" sales tactic, and visit Home Depot after the sales presentation to look at other products. Many of the flaws of his "competitor" product sample weren't present on the floor models from other manufacturers. We're moving forward with a competitor that costs about 3/4 of his quoted price (we didn't even get to his "name-your-price" bit, so I'm not sure if he was about to come down much from his anchored price.)

Bottom line - Rude and unprofessional salesman. Be familiar with "hard-sell" sales tactics before the presentation, and never agree to anything on the spot. If a reputable company has a contractor quote today, they should generally be able to come pretty close to matching the price tomorrow.

The windows are beautiful and really keep the heat out but my main concern was hurricane season. We got the windows installed ahead of schedule which was great news! Everyone has been very professional and I would highly recommend them.

We love our new storm windows and doors. They are beautiful! Best of all is that the crew came in to work and finished within the expected time. They cleaned up in and out so there was no mess left behind. Also, they were very kind and personal.

we have had three different installations done on our house two for windows and a final for doors. we are very pleased with our over all experience with this company and the quality product they provide. everyone in every level of the company we have had contact with is always pleasant respectful and quick to act to sort out any issues and complete whatever steps are needed to complete the job we confidently recommend this company to any home owner.

Shady business practices!

We had an in-home consult and signed a contract for new windows. The agent processed our paperwork and called for loan approval. We were approved and gave a $100.00 security deposit.

Later that same day, after the agent left, we were told that our loan could NOT be approved and that we would not be getting windows. They cancelled our contract.

We have called multiple times trying to get our security deposit back but nobody will return our call.

Do NOT do business with these people!!!!

Beautiful windows! I'm very happy I chose Storm Tight. They were delivered on time, installed expertly and quickly. The installers did not disrupt my rooms, and cleaned up after they completed the work. The follow up with the Palm Beach County inspector was quick and approval was given. Storm Tight also has great customer service. My questions were always answered to my satisfaction. I love the way these windows make my house look. These windows are so quiet, I no longer hear the pool pump and air conditioner unit!. I now feel secure about break in's and secure if a storm should arrive. I highly recommend you look at these.hurricane windows.

The windows themselves are of good quality. However, installation was subpar. They put our Windows in backwards, and to correct this took a year of demanding phone calls on our part. Now that the windows are in the right place (which took the gentleman 5 trips to our house to accomplish) the screen doesn't fit properly and there is a hole in my wall. We have tried to have them correct this (again), but no one will answer our calls. Great presentation when they come to the house, but they do not follow their guidelines they claim proclaim they use.
