This is a great mountain, but it has some issues. The parking lots fill up around 8:30 on weekends, so get there early. Also, they have had some technical issues with their chairlifts. I would be pretty bummed if I paid over $100 and I got stuck in a chair line on the backside for more than an hour.

I've been skiing at Stevens Pass for over 40 years, taught my kids there as well and have many good memories with friends too. Be sure to buy your tickets ahead of time though as the $91.00 ticket at the ticket booth about floored me. I know the big shots at Vail bought the place but it ain't no Vail or Whistler. I'm not real sure how a young family would ever do what I did for mine with these rates. Does anyone know of some good sledding hills?

If you rent you ski gears here, they will put your ski shoes on for you. It's nice because you don't need to go back and forth to get the right size if the first pair did not fit right. Rental equipments are all in great shape. Staffs are friendly.

They can get really packed and busy.

It was a great camping trip. Not overcrowded and a great snowfall on the last night so we stayed all day having some great snow fun.the roads are well maintained and cleared regularly. Short trip to see the lights in Leavenworth and have great food at Kristals . a very enjoyable time for everyone in my group.

Great runs and amazing value, $65 for lift tickets and normally priced food options makes this one of the best resorts I've been to. The large variety of runs make this a good option although the runs are mostly blues/blacks so beginners beware

Went on a Sunday, way too crowded. Lots of families with children. We wondered about the bad quality of lifts and conditions on the so called "groomed" runs...changed in the middle to the opposite! I wouldn't go there with my child due to the safety issues: most of lifts are very old (look like 1940) and 70% didn't have the safety bar installed at all to prevent people from falling out which happened when we got stuck for almost an hour without any information. They had to rescue someone who was hanging out.
Ski area is ok, enough for a day but still small & 70$ for a day a bit on the high side for space, quality and waiting time.

Great snow, awesome backside, chill employees. However, a price hike from 65-79 between seasons definetly NOT justified for a meager amount of ski able terrain with little verticle drop. Great place for begginers though and people NOT looking for epic double black diamond powder. My advice, DO NOT go here on weekends because you wont get a parking spot unless you are there promptly at 8 am. Weekdays are much more fun and have that local feel that reminds me of growing up riding in the Rockies. All in all, I would give four stars but they lost a star for high price to ride a small mountain, and not enough parking for weekend traffic.

Came up yesterday only to wait in line for a shuttle that never arrived. Roads were closed causing the shuttle to stop running. Now the roads are still closed and no known time to reopen. Just wondering how this place stays in business.

Nice place for intermediate snowboarders, there are a few easy rides but if you re a beginner then don t buy a lift ticket. Because the small hills don t require one. It got more expensive this year, and they also got a new ride too. Fun place with friends. Friendly staff too

Fantastic place to spend the day, or the weekend.
I try and get up on the mountain at least once a week, and Stevens is my first choice. They have a healthy selection of beginner and intermediate runs, with some good challenges on the black diamonds as well.
Something for everyone here.

Stevens has been our home mountain for a number of years now. Lifts are usually pretty fast the restaurants and amenities are pretty good. But the parking can get horrendous and on holidays the lines will be insane get there super early or don't bother.

Close enough to the city for a day trip, but still has a small mountain feel. Great range of terrain for all skill levels and even on busier days lift service is pretty quick. Plenty of choices for food and drink between the three lodges.

The reason why it doesn't get 5 stars is parking. There usually are more visitors than the parking spaces (because they oversold the tickets). When the nearby lots are full, people will be asked to park 5 miles away and to take the shuttles. The whole process could be 2 hours or more. Your car can get stocked in the parking lots easily. Be sure to have your snow chains ready.

It's a great place to spend a day of skiing.
My kids really like the ski school there.
During the weekends becomes overcrowded, so come early if you want to park close.

Some lifts don't have bars (especially the one in learnings area); while it may be ok for adults, it's quite scary for kids. A would really like them to install bars for kids, just like most european resorts have.

We went for lunch ..it took over an hour to get out food. While waiting, there were annoying nats flying all around. After we finally received our food, they strongly hovered our table. I wont eat there again. The food was ok

Great mountain and mostly great staff. But there are a couple major setbacks. 1) going on the weekends. The parking needs to be expanded. I have now been turned away 3 Saturdays in a row showing up within 15 minutes of opening. 2 weeks ago the parking staff was very rude about it as well. I did not spend extra money on the premium pass to be turned around every weekend 2) only some of the lift operators quad people up on busy days. Usually only skyline, it's infuriating to be waiting in line for 30 minutes watching one or two people getting on the chairs. When they are busy they must fill the chairs or it just makes the wait long for everyone 3) Stevens doesn't enforce a park pass. By allowing anyone and everyone to take brooks to ride through the park, it makes it not only dangerous, but not using the features properly destroys the definition of the jumps and kickers to the rails. Not to mention drop-ins are not called. It's only a matter of time before a small child is waiting underneath one of the jumps out of site and is seriously injured. Free style parks should only be used by advanced riders. However using skyline and dropping the shoots after 4pm is perfect because it takes the accessibility away from those who shouldn't be there.
