Stevens Pass is one of the nicest mountains in Washington. They are one of the highest mountains on the west side of the state and get better snow than the lower areas. There and is a reasonable mix of terrain including some good cruising and also glade skiing and more open spaces that are great on a powder day. There is also a large beginner area that allows for progression and numerous ski schools that can provide instruction. The mountain staff are friendly and helpful.
