Wow, what a wonderful hotel. From the moment you check in they are so courteous and accommodating. We asked for an upgrade and they gave us a beautiful room in the 11th floor. What a view from the large balcony. The decor was modern with a touch of antique. The tub was so delightful.
Since there was a storm, they deducted the resort fee. That was very nice of them.
Will definitely come back again.

I had a bad experience at the St Regis in Miami for this Thanksgiving.
My son and I went to 2 x of the restaurants in this hotel, as external guests. We ate our main meal at the burger place and then on to the Greek restaurant for dessert. Since we re in Miami on holiday and don t know anyone here to spend Thanksgiving with, I wanted to make it a special day for my young son and I.
When I came to pay for the ice creams we had had at the Greek restaurant, instead of the $26 I had been given a bill for (which is already pretty expensive for 2 x ice creams), I realised I had been charged $150! The money had already been taken off my account, and when I checked with my bank I discovered that not only had they now taken $150 for ice cream, but that I was charged twice for 2 x main dishes at the burger restaurant, an additional totalling $130. I alerted the restaurant staff right away and was assured the manager would come and help. I waited for over 15 minutes and watched while the manager fussed over new - and evidently, richer - guests. In the end I took the bill and told the staff I would talk to the hotel manager instead.
In the lobby, I was directed to the food and beverage service manager. He apologised but explained that it happens a lot (what?!) and when I asked him if this had happened with 2 x different restaurants in the same night, he said yes, a lot. This was not much comfort. He also insisted that the money was not taken from my account, but merely on hold for a few business days which was, again, little comfort when it s Thanksgiving, we re on a limited budget for our holiday and we were now almost $300 down due 100% to their 2 x errors within the space of one hour. The food manager was cordial, and kept saying he wished there was more he could do but still didn t offer anything above a glass of champagne (with a tired toddler and much fewer funds for our holiday, I was hardly in the mood for that!) and stating that the money would eventually be back on my account. I realise $300 may not be a lot to some people - clearly, not to the hotel staff - but it is to me. I m a single parent and wanted to spend a special Thanksgiving meal with my young toddler at what is meant to be one of the best hotels in Miami, but I walked away with an ok meal and over $200 poorer for the duration of our holiday.
I am underwhelmed by their commitment to make amends for their 2 x mistakes (aside from a free ice cream and valet) and total lack of empathy for how their errors have frankly ruined our holiday. I d also advise caution for future restaurant guests as these errors - evidently, according to management - seem to be common.

It's a beautiful property with excellent service. We had a room with very large balcony and view of the ocean. Had lunch at the Burger Bar and both the service and the food we're great. We ordered room service for dinner and again, the service and the food was exceptional. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family and would love to stay there again myself. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The pool side and beach employees are so wonderful. The entire experience, very delightful. The views to die for. Only thing, the food was just ok. Nothing stood out. You'll want to go out for food or even cook.

From the moment we walked into the lobby at the St. Regis Bal Harbour everything was perfect. The staff was amazing and our 2 bedroom suite was impeccable. This is a true 5-star resort. Can't wait to go back this winter.

I was really disappointed in the food here. After my friends paid close to 15k for a weekend stay, you would think the food would be fantastic. Tbh it was mediocre at best. We ate everywhere in the hotel, meaning we ate in the Lobby Bar, on the Beach and at the Greek restaurant downstairs... all very poor quality. At the Greek restaurant I actually returned all the food and we did not eat. The salmon was dry and hardest, and my friend chicken sandwich was over cooked as well.St Regis needs to really step up the food quality. Other than that the hotel is beautiful.

We used 120,000 Starwood points to stay here for two days. I needed to go to the emergency room the night before and called Starwood as well as St. Regis resorts to see if I could get a refund on points since I was in the hospital. That was the first turn downhill. St Regis reps told me that it did not matter that I was in the hospital and then I would need to use the points anyways but would not have any sort of refund. Let me just explain that 120,000 points means about $100,000 with of credit card expenses accumulated over a period of time. We missed the first night out of the stay because I was in the hospital. We did try to make the best of the situation by coming to stay the second evening.
We live very close this was more of a staycation. My husband and I have stayed at this particular hotel four times in the past so we are no strangers to what to expect at this resort.
I checked in without my husband because he was going to be coming later and I had an early spa treatment. Let me be clear, I tried to check in... Because my husband was not with me and the receptionist was too lazy to actually look into the reservation fully to see all the details I was humiliated, and forced to wait and walk around the hotel with my suitcases until my husband arrived three hours later.
I found other things very lacking over the course of our one night stay such as bugs inside my fruit. The water bottles in our room were not sealed and seemed like they had been used.
In room dining was an epic fail. After this stay, i believe this hotel has lost two very good patrons for life. In future, on your vacation in Miami if you are looking for a luxury experience don t let the name of this hotel deceive you. My husband and I have stayed in many St Regis resorts the world over And they are all exceptional. This one not so much.

The ratings on here are not reflective of the general sentiment of guests I have come across during my stay at the hotel, and it may just be that other guests are not taking the time to leave a review. Many of them have said they are looking for other options for future stays. You would expect some level of luxury or, at minimum, standard service during your stay if you are paying $500-$1,000 per night on a rainy day. But the hotel, once a great destination, has completely lost its way since Marriott took over and the service is completely non-existent. Hotel management blames it on staff shortages from COVID, but the very staff tell a whole different story: the hotel is choosing to keep staff levels as is, current staff are poorly trained, and the hotel is milking the pandemic to come out with every cent it can despite 95%+ occupancy during the pandemic. Waiting an hour to get something sent to your room and calling an operator is a 5-10 minute process as the phone rings and rings. The restaurants at the hotel are offering 3-item menus and have stopped room service because of COVID. When you want to go to the beach, expect a new $25 per umbrella fee on top of the existing activity/amenity fee on your bill.. yes, a supposed 5-star hotel is asking you to pay to get shade on the beach. They ve stopped turn-down service because of COVID. If these restrictions were in fact because of COVID, I would understand. But they aren t, and it s obvious to anyone who walks into the hotel.
There are so many options in South Florida; as a repeat guest and as someone who has spoken with many other repeat guests, the hotel either shapes up or we re all going elsewhere.

The price in comparison to service and treatment of the hotels guests is something I wouldn t wish on my worst enemy.

Amazing in every way. They got me in to my room quickly and accommodated my request so I can take my business meetings from the room. A free upgrade to the suite for my Marriott loyalty was more then generous and greatly appreciated. If you want high end in Miami, this is it

Would love to give this place 5 stars, but it's seriously let down by the food. As you'd expect, prices are not cheap, but for that I'd expect top quality. That I had to bring my coffee from the room, as the restaurants was so bad should say it all. Pastries such as croissants are far from great, and cooked items are just ok. When mentioning to staff, the response was one of slight interest. Rooms are stunning, bar was great and butler service was efficient and warm.

Ideal location for all shopping and restaurants. Although in busy spot and our room overlooked the street, it was very quiet. Great service and friendly staff. Basic rooms are small but well appointed and nicely decorated. We will be back.

In a world as diverse and full of challenges as we live in these times, it is difficult to find the mastery of feeling welcome and maintaining a high quality from a prestigious firm. Thus, visiting the restaurant of a Hotel that is chosen by the firm that supports it, is our first choice. The experience this time leaves a lot to be desired at St. Regis Miami Bal Harbor.
We arrived at the Atlantikos restaurant closed due to the COVID pandemic so we decided to have a lunch at the Pool & Beach. Good food, very good service!
However, when we arrived at the valet parking they did not allow us to seal the ticket, the ball bounced between the waiter, the bar man, the Valencia staff without any clear policy, blaming one another for a simple stamp, everything resulted in a charge of $ 28.00 dollars for two hours of parking. Unheard!
When in this time of little demand for services and with great care and restrictions, a hotel that prides itself on luxury and high class cannot offer a courtesy to its clients ... well, if you are not a hotel guest, think before you take a car ... the people of the valet ... well with great pride!

Well the hotel is amazing as well as the hotel staff. The hair salon was a most awful experience. It is not run by the hotel or spa. The hotel management should really look into who is running this place.

Oof.. what a difference 3 years makes! Visited for my birthday, and pretty disappointed with experience. $3000/night room, $45/night resort charge.. and you still have to pay $25 for an umbrella at the beach.
No minibar in the room anymore.
Last time, i've received a happy birthday message at least 15 times during 4 day stay.. this time exactly 0 (just shows where service level, and attention to detail is)
Requested a late check out (I am Marriott Ambassador elite) and was told, hotel is completely full, and will not accommodate. I just went on google and it shows multiple room availability.
Used to be my favorite hotel in Miami, will not likely to come back.

We stayed here for 3 days for a conference. The hotel itself was great. A very nice room. Amazing view. The staff was friendly and helpful.
There are complimentary bikes, coffee (in your room and on the bottom level) and bottled water (in your room at night, in the gym and at the entrance).
We ate three meals at the hotel and not a single meal was served hot. It was always cold and bland. We had fish and chips for Saint Patrick's day and the fish was soggy. The desserts we had tasted like they had been sitting for a little while, all the crust portions would be extremely dry.

Aside from the Regal experience and beautiful accommodations, what stands out is the service. Every employee was cheerful, kind sincere, and accommodating. Whether it be cushioned lounges or poolside Water Service, the St. Regis is a Class Act. A rare Class Act. Has a very different vibe than South Beach. It's way more Hepburn than Kardashian.

Stayed 1 night. Booked a basic room, and was upgraded to a massive oceanfront suite, with 2 large bedrooms each with a huge bathroom, a dining room with full kitchen (plus an additional bathroom), 3 oceanfront balconies, and a butler on call 24/7!!! Super friendly and welcoming staff, speedy service and requests.

Unless You Are For CERTAIN STAYING. Even if it is An Emergency I Would Advice too Keep the Reservation. Had I know such an Elegant Resort which Seems too Have Class would NOT honor my refund. I could have went to a cheaper resort and had a much better experience. I have been waiting for months and fighting for a refund I was told would be refunded 7-10 Business Days and Now it s not being Honored. That is Shady Business something One expects from a much lower level resort.

A five star stay with some high notes as well as some mistakes.
The people at the Adult pool went above and beyond to satisfy the customer. Especially a guy called Mathieu, a gem in customer service.
Massel, one of the security guard was extremely helpful.
Nevertheless we asked at the lobby to be escorted twice by a security guy on Saturday and none came. I still feel the 20 floors I had to go in my feet. A not acceptable situation for such a high level hotel.

Large, fantastic rooms I've stayed in some really, really nice properties, but this is among the very best. "Rooms" isn't the right word for the accommodations definitely suites. Largest balconies (and more than one) you may find anywhere. Staff is professional from top to bottom. On-site dining is great, but crammed in small spaces. Meeting space is average. Beach and views are what you'd expect in this area. It's really all about the fantastic rooms and top-notch staff.

Hotel was amazing and the staff was incredibly friendly. Had some problems checking out though and even though I was told that my vallet fees were covered with the conference I was attending both by the people running it and the concierge, I was forced to pay almost 50 dollars to get my car back. I recommend getting everything in writing or recording conversations when discussing what is and isn't covered

Horrible service, not worth it to spend any money on staying here. We stayed here for 2 nights and quickly checked out to a hotel where they accommodate your requests and actually care to assist you. Not one of the minor requests we asked for got fulfilled. Don t stay here!
