Oof.. what a difference 3 years makes! Visited for my birthday, and pretty disappointed with experience. $3000/night room, $45/night resort charge.. and you still have to pay $25 for an umbrella at the beach.
No minibar in the room anymore.
Last time, i've received a happy birthday message at least 15 times during 4 day stay.. this time exactly 0 (just shows where service level, and attention to detail is)
Requested a late check out (I am Marriott Ambassador elite) and was told, hotel is completely full, and will not accommodate. I just went on google and it shows multiple room availability.
Used to be my favorite hotel in Miami, will not likely to come back.
