This is an amazing hotel! I've also stayed at the Ritz Carlton in south beach and prefer the St. Regis, both in terms of location and the property itself.
I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the hotel. It's a little pricey but there is a variety of things that are all delicious.

St. Regis in general can t ever seem to accommodate early check-in. They seem to be ignorant to the concept of dealing with those that are at the door waiting to settle in versus prepping a room for a new guest.
If you are sensitive to smells THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. The lobby and public areas are scented with perfume? It s not a bad smell there s just way too much, enough to trigger allergic reactions. If you re like me you know exactly what I mean.
Amazing and unique luxury hotel with emphasis on the smallest details. The hotel sets itself apart from its competitors by providing large and square balconies fit for a banquet and you are able to look each other in the eyes instead of sitting in a lineup. Thus you are able to create more memorable experiences with your loved ones. In addition the pool launch chairs are unmatched in quality, comfort and size. Not the Four Season nor the Ritz Carlton come close. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your every request is met. If you want a truly sophisticated and extraordinary hotel experience then the St. Regis Bal Harbour is the only choice in the Miami area!
Pricey but they are constantly uping the game here. Great Sushi at SRB. La Patilla in the Pineapple is a signature drink. Look up the resident mixologist or the Sommelier for an added bit of entertainment if the live music is not enough on weekends. Atlantikos blows away Milo's on all points with exception of the jet setter ambiance which I don't need when I'm having a meze.
Unfortunately the quality and service had really declined Over the past two years. They really couldn t care less if your are platinum or if have stayed at the hotel before.
I understand we are in a new situation with covid but there was complete lack of communication on any policies at the hotel. The restaurant was closed even though others in the area were open. No one was clear on timings, the front desk failed to bring us have the things, it was chaotic overall. I really appreciated the upgrade but I know it s based on availability. However we had to wait hours to get a paper plate or a cup to drink out of. I would highly reconsider another hotel that isn t charging such premium pricing.
No room service, no coffee makers in rooms or coffee service, adult pool closed so you have to deal with loud children screaming next to you. No place to grab a quick bite. Only pool restaurant which is extremely overwhelmed and slow. When you try to contact manager, no one gets back to you. So basically you wake up, have to go downstairs and wait in line for a cup of coffee at a slow pace. You want to relax by the pool and loud kids yelling next to you. You want to eat something and it s at least 1 hour to get food. You want to escape the noise and go to the beach, they want to charge an additional $25 just for an umbrella. What kind of vacation is that ? Not worth it !! Better off staying home. Management doesn t even call back. I guess they don t care about customer loyalty.
This is hands down my favorite vacation getaway in the US. The staff is seriously amazing. Their work is so effortless, yet so precise to make you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Additionally the layout of this property is so smart. Every room has such an amazing ocean view and balcony. The restaraunts provide exceptional food. I love the location as well, being directly across from the Bal harbor shops is so convienient. I can t say enough good things about this property and hope that it doesn t change now that its owned by Marriott.
My husband and I stayed there to celebrate his birthday and to unwind after a hectic week at disneyworld with our little one, and this resort exceeded our expectations with regards to service and hospitality. My husband and I love to travel, and we have stayed at many luxurious resorts, and the St. Regis Bal Harbor is one of the finest resorts we have stayed at. Their pools are pristine, and their beaches are not overcrowded. The ocean temperature was perfect (we went in October). I would highly recommend renting a day villa if you want to spend all day at the pool or beach. It is air conditioned, and a great way to escape the heat and enjoy some privacy between taking dips in the pool and ocean. We had a massage at their spa, and the masseuse knew exactly how to loosen all the knots we created lugging our baby all over disneyworld. All of the food we ordered at the resort was fabulous. Our stay was so fabulous, I am thinking about retiring in Miami
An oasis of pampering and privilege, The St Regis Bal Harbour has long been a favorite destination hotel for jet-setting travelers like my family - The resort features spacious, luxuriously appointed guest rooms and suites with a direct More
Went to St. Regis today for a relaxing bachelorette day and it was Amazing!!! Wagner, Corey, and Inda provided my friends and I great service!! I have never received such amazing service anywhere in Miami like I did here at the St Regis. It was the best day of the trip because of the spectacular service we received from Wagner, Corey, and Inda. I definitely recommend staying here!!!
WOW WOW WOW.... What an amazing place- great service, great location, great everything !!!! I could go on for pages telling you how great evertything at the St Regis Bal Harbour was, but I will keep this post simple and to the point.
Whether for work, pleasure, family or a romantic get-away, look no further. Located about 5 miles (via oceanside bike path) from South Baeach, you can spend all of yourt time at the resort, or you can venture out with ease.
Booking your stay with SPG / Marriott points is an added benefit, definitiely a good value for the points spent.
The hotel and the condo part are beautiful, very modern and comfortable, with very good amenities. Have a coffee entering on the left with incredible bills and sweets, highly recommended
This is one of my go-to places when I don't want to be disturbed by others. For one you have to pay to park. The staff is wonderful and the view is amazing. A little pricey but it's worth it.
As a resident in the north tower. I can say the saint regis is the best hotel/ residency in bal harbour. Expect top service and a great stay. Would recommend to anyone
The hotel is very amazing and the service was excellent and everyone was smiling eager to help. The food was excellent well recommended will be going back soon.
We just arrived today and so far the experience has been nothing at all like we are in a luxury 5 star hotel. we have so many complaints I don't even know where to start.
1. It took them a very long time to get our room ready
2. There was no where for us to change to bathing suite so we can enjoy the amenities while waiting for the room.
3. only one restaurant by the pool was open, with very poor and slow service. the quality of some of the items on the menu, like guacamole, was horrible and uneatable. the bill for 2 adults and two kids that don't eat much for a light lunch came to $250. It's totally outrageous. on top of that after we paid, we realized they had overcharged a few items on the menu. we tried to get a hold of the food and beverage manager, but he is no where to be found. 6 hours has passed and no luck.
4. there is no coffee or tea in the rooms. and that doesn't even have anything to do with COVID. they only make it available to the suite rooms that are $3000 per night. we are paying $1500 per night and are not qualified for complimentary tea or coffee. just ordered one pot of tea and it costed $26.
over all this place is extremely overpriced and no value what so ever. they have eliminated a lot of services but raised the price. We only stay at 5 star hotels, but will never come back here.
it's all about money and no service.
PS. we have been trying to speak with a manager regarding our complaints, but there is no manager available to speak with us. They tell us the manager is cleaning the rooms because we are very busy! go figure!!
also a lot of new crew that don't know what's what. so it certainly ads to the frustration.
hoping to get out and find another nice hotel to stay at for the reminder of our vacation.
More quiet than Miami. Across from Neimans and shopping. Elegant. Brand new hotel! Lovely Remede spa. Beautiful beach, pools, restaurants. Greek restaurant. Fancy desserts, sandwhiches, cappucino in lobby.
Just stayed at this hotel for two nights and cannot say enough. BY FAR the NICEST HOTEL I've ever visited, further enhanced by the most attentive staff, impeccable grounds, excellent restaurants....Aside from the hotel being top notch, the location is as well; directly across the street from Bal Harbour shops and just minutes from South Beach and Brickell. Seriously puts the RC and FS to shame. I'd award the St. Regis 10 stars if I could! Glamorous and upscale without the attitude! Will be back
Very beautiful grounds and hotel. The rooms are well appointed and feel like new. The balconies overlooking the ocean are really amazing and contributed a lot to our enjoyment of our room. Great room service. The pools and beach access were great. Super helpful staff. Great proximity to Bal Harbour Shops and Surfside shops.
We were very disappointed in our last stay. First we arrived at hotel 3pm and as a Marriott Platinum we always get early checkin. My room was ready only at 4:15pm. Arriving at the room, mini fridge had open food and dirty plate from previous guest. In Covid times this is totally unnaceptable. So I had to wait another 20 minutes or so to finally be in another room (which btw was not 100% clean and had trash from previous guest behind furniture. I stayed there 5 nights, and I requested 4pm checkout. They said they were full and 2:30pm was the latest. We checked out 2:30pm, left the bags at the room for bellman to pickup and went for lunch at hotel. Around 3:45pm we called for our car and they still didnt even collect bags from the room, which means they could have done the late checkout we asked about. I do NOT recommend. Better stay at the Ritz or Aqualina.
Very disappointed of the service. Bad cleaning in the rooms. Covid excuse for every reason. Manager not helpful at all!! My room was not done until 4:30pm after i called several times and spent hour on the phone.
Beautiful property, huge ocean view rooms with very large balcony. Unfortunately, bar and restaurant service was very slow. I can only assume they don't worry how long it takes because all gratuities are mandatory, so they get a 20% tip whether they deserve it or not.
Rooms are top notch - all large and ocean facing. Very close to several restaurants. Don't recommend dinner in the hotel, as there are more diverse options at the same pice point very accessible. South Beach is 30 minutes but only $15 in an Uber/Lyft. Service is what you expect at a St. Regis.
Nice hotel but the beach area is dirty and the security staff is more like hired goons that try to intimidate you if you don't submit, even if their request is illegal.
