Great service experience. Dealing with some issues on my boat...they have been great.

Great sales department but when I took my new Outlander ATV in for the first 10 hour service (with only 260 kms on it), and for a few things I was lead to belive were warranty items, when I picked up the machine, some if the required service work was not performed. I had marked and put silicone on some of the bolts and they weren't touched not to mention I was also billed labor and material for the warranty items! Was able to eventually get my money back but not without a big hassle.

My friend and I recently Inquired about purchasing two used snowmobiles from St. Onge Recreation. Things started out fine but quickly went south, I had the pleasure of dealing with Gerry Dennis who was very knowledgeable, very professional and the only honest person I dealt with. My friend and i both put a $500 hold on these vehicles while we were waiting on financial rates. Once my credit application was accepted I was then transferred to the finance department and this is where things got interesting.

I received an email approving my credit application from Darryl Wallin their BUSINESS MANAGER. I looked it over and I was appalled at there rates as I have a great credit score. I quickly responded with an email as well as a phone call but Darryl always seemed to be away from his desk or with another client. At this point I was getting very frustrated with no response from Mr. Wallin. I called and went over Darryl's head and low and behold Darryl contacted me very quickly.... CONVENIENT!!

Both theses deals were based on a finance rate that was acceptable to both parties. This was agreed upon prior to the credit application being submitted. We could not come to an agreement and I simply asked for my $500 deposit back. After hours of arguing on the phone they where still refusing to return my deposit. After talking and explaining the situation to the only guy in the place that is professional Mr. Gerry Dennis quickly spoke too the owner and Darryl to resolve this situation and I am happy to say I finally received my deposit. I will never step foot into St. Onge again. I do not recommend this place to anyone and If I could leave a no star rating I would have.

I would just like to express to the sales man Gerry Dennis If you ever go to another dealership please advise us. It was a pleasure dealing with someone who is professional and knowledgeable.

February 2019, I was north of Huntsville snowmobiling. My 2015 skidoo had a leaking RAVE gasket. I wasnt able to get to any dealer but I had friends meeting me who were driving through Barrie, who could stop and pick up the part for me BUT depending on traffic St Onge likely would have been closed.
I explained that I would like to pay for the part over the phone and if the part could be left outside somewhere kind of hidden, that would be awesome. The parts person I was speaking with was willing to help me out until it came to the payment.
I was told "you've never bought anything from us and I dont have your drivers license. For all I know you could be using a stolen credit card" . I was in complete disbelief and furious.
Due to this person's lack of customer service and respect for the short snowmobile season, my family day long weekend was cut short.
I know if it was a salesperson taking my good credit card for a deposit on a new toy, they would gladly take it over the phone.
Many years ago my dad stopped dealing with St. onge, and im glad I never started.

"St-onge" you guys are far away from any Saint that's for sure..Would never get my bikes or any of my other toys serviced here. Sloppy work. Sloppy attidude.. Just watch how they act after they make the sale. They are under staffed and not very welcoming... Went there with my buddy to buy a dirtbike and we had just finished a tile job so we weren't wearing the best of clothing and 3 sales people walked right past us and they weren't with any other customers... Everytime i go there someone new is behind the service desk so they go thru employees quite often it seems... Only reason they get so much business is because they are right off the highway and they get a lot of rich people from Toronto. Ive had 2 "okay" exeriences on the sale side of things butover all I steer away from the "Saint" Luther. Plenty of options.

Excellent customer service! Thanks to Scott for having my sled serviced and ready for the weekend as promised, despite their hectic workload. It's a pleasure to deal with St Onge and I recommend them to everyone. Check them out, you won't regret it.

Bought two motorcycles from Todd so far and he's always given me the best deal I could find anywhere. Highly recommended!

In the fall I purchased a new sled and the service was pretty good. Recently however things have changed. I tried to purchase a new Yamaha side by side and no one would even respond to me. I went in to the store and they apologized and explained that they were really busy with sled sales and they would now help me but it was too late, I bought a new one from Gordon Bay. I also recently tried to buy two new Seadoo's but once again, no response. It seems they are too busy again I guess....

Always have what I want if not they get it in fairly quickly.

Knowledgeable people.. Salesman Jerry is great to work with and friendly. Very helpful. Service department is sub par. Always someone complaining about service every time I go in. Parking is an absolute mess. Almost worth looking for a new dealer as I've never seen a more unorganized mess.

I'm from up north around Sudbury but I have family in the muskokas, we usually make the extra trip down to Barrie to pick up parts from St onge as they are much more helpful than the dealers we have up north. Glad I found you guys youve been a lot of help. love the longer hours!

i have purchased a few toys at St.Onge over the years & was satisfied with experience. More recently i bought a used (2012) low hour PWC which experienced a major engine failure. I had put 3 hours on the clock when it failed. After getting towed in & taking the machine into the service department I'm thinking this is going to hurt. Daryl called & said they were taking care of it. They installed a long block & had back on the water quickly. No dealer is wonderful every time but that's what a stand up dealer does & that's why they will continue to get my business. The lowest purchase price is not always the best deal. Staff were great, the building is oddly laid out ,some items not easy to see.

I've always had a good experience here with ordering parts and shopping for gear, everyone has always been helpful and pleasant. Can only give 4 stars because I've never made a large purchase here but imagine the sales people are top notch also!

Over the past ten years we have purchased numerous new and used units. The process has always been straight forward and stress free. We have also purchased replacement parts, maintenance parts and aftermarket parts for these units. Always a good time with the fun bunch.

Hands down the best place for outdoor rec. Vehicles and parts. Super awesome staff that can answer any question you could ever have. Horns up!

I have purchased quite a few toys over the years from St. Onge Recreation and always had luck with their sales guys. This past winter I was having a ton of trouble with my snowmobile that I had purchased privately and they managed to track down an electrical gremlin that others could not find.

Great service and friendly atmosphere. I'm experiencing an electrical issue and got a ton of good advice as to what to look for.

Nice store. One guy in thr parts store was being a jerk but thankfully there was someone nicer there with a bit of manners to talk to me woth a bit more respect and friendliness. Overall good store with nice products.

Love my Bv2s helmet I bought from there. Warranty issues are fixed then and there no hassle. Awesome dealer.

I just wrapped up a purchase of a brand new Kawasaki side by side through St Onge recreation and it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Even in the current situation we are all in Alyse, the sales rep I worked with made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. All questions were answered knowledgeably and quickly, not to mention professionally and politely. When I went in to drop off the final payment, all recommendations for the current situation were followed, and it took less than 10 minutes completely social distanced to finish the process. The delivery driver, I believe his name was Isaac, was kind, professional, polite and on time. If I had had half his work ethic at his age I could have afforded to buy this machine 10 years ago. Thank you Alyse and Isaac and the rest of the team at St Onge for making this purchase such a breeze even in this crazy time. Cheers.

Excellent service. A short drive north of the big city for excellent selection, service and quality is why I keep returning year after year! I will say to anyone reading, if you want to buy a new machine (winter or summer) you re out of luck and need to be thinking about putting a deposit on next years model if you want to have the experience, cuz they re all sold out early!

No people skills here. Sales staff are lazy or simply not interested. Walked in looking at 4 wheel ATV's. Was not approached by a single sales person. Went to Orillia and purchased an ATV the same day. Great job St. Onge!!!

Most recently I picked up my boat and they didn't put the drain plug back in.

I drove two hours before I noticed.

beware of this place and especially their service department.....called them to do service on my boat and they told me to bring it in....next morn i tow my boat for 1 hour 45min trip....i get there and guy in the parking lot tells me don't bother unhooking boat? i go to service desk and they say my boat is too old and they won't service it? I told these guys all the details and what was wrong the day before, i stated the year of the boat 3 times that day. They said sorry they can't? Nice work guys....hope covid 19 takes your business out........

I have just purchased a VL800 from st onge in barrie and had the best experience i have ever had compared to multiple dealerships i have purchased vehicles from in the past. I had dealt with Nick, Peter and Fernando and they where very professional and realistic, they took their time and worked with me to get myself something i was happy with, they had also made sure that they are giving me something safe and reliable which is a huge plus. Over all in my opinion best dealership to buy anything from if its snowmobiles, atv's, seadoos, motorcross plus much more they offer i would honestly go back to them for any power sport need or service in the future great job guys and thank you i appreciate it.

This is the first google review iv'e ever written about a service dealer. I ordered a trailer for my Sea Doo Spark last Thursday on the phone with the sales rep. I was told there were 15 in stock but was not informed that they were not assembled yet. I drove 2.5 hours only to be told by the sales rep that the trailer wasn't at the yard or had not been assembled yet. I was at fault according to the sales rep because I should have given him a specific date and time I would be there to get the trailer. After driving back home the sales rep then told me on the phone that the trailer would be ready to go Saturday morning. I had told him I would arrive the following weekend. Fast forward a week later, I called the sales rep to notify him I would be arriving Friday around the early afternoon and asked if the trailer was ready to go to which he responded "yes its 100% ready to go." I had arrived around 2:00 p.m paid the full amount for the trailer only for him to tell me the trailer was still at the other yard. He then asked me to hold tight while he tried to find out what was going on. I was told it would take a half hour to get the trailer from their other yard to the dealer where I had been waiting. I then got a text saying the drivers were behind schedule and wouldn't be dropping the trailer off till around 3:45 p.m. He also added that I should have told him exactly what time I would have been arriving because apparently that matters. After sitting for 2 hours with no communication from the sales rep, I then ended up speaking to the manager who actually tried to find out where my trailer was. No more than 15 minutes later the trailer was at the yard. I appreciated the fact he actually tried to understand how far I was driving only to sit there for 2.5 hours because the sales rep is incompetent and pathetic at his job. I will also add that the sales rep never once called me during the week to give me any update on the trailer. I believe the sales rep is lazy with zero communication skills and accountability and I personally believe he's not qualified to tie his own shoes let alone deal with sales. I will never return there and truly hope they find better staff.

Great place to deal with. Did my purchase via email. They are straight shooters, no hidden fees no BS. Price could not been beat. Will defiantly be purchasing here again.

Just bought my sled in for service and inspection when I got on the trail the engine warning light comes , I open up the side panels and I see the sensor on the muffler is unscrewed and hanging there, on the other side they didn t even install the belt cover, they changed my over $500 , no attention to details, I will never bring my sled or use this company again

I dropped my 1986 Suzuki intruder to have it repaired and inspected for registration purposes. All the major repairs were done within the first week of being dropped off to their location. Three weeks later and they still held my motorcycle claiming that a small box by the backrest was missing a locking device and needed replacement because it was a safety issue. According to them it was the same as having a loose car fender, what a joke. Repairs were finally made and I paid them in full including delivery to my home address in the same city. Going into week 5 and their incompetence and lack of professional skills have shown to be the poorest of the entire nation. One of them even said to me that he only wanted my money and not my bike. If it is not delivered today, then tomorrow I will be showing up to them with the cops. Avoid this struggling little shop at all cost unless you can tolerate poor customer service and ignorant behavior on a place that it suppose to service the clientele with the utmost highest standards of business. I will never let them touch any of my vehicles again.
