About three weeks ago, I got a voicemail from a supervisor in the company, who said she want to discuss about my review. I called her immediately , but told she was with a client. I left a message mentioning that I was returning her call because she wanted to talk about a review I posted. She didn't called me back. Waited for about a week and
called again, she was not in office. Again, left a message mentioned this was my second time to call. The lady on the phone promised I should receive a call the next day, but after two weeks, there is none.
My point is, if they are not willing to discuss about the issue, why they called me? If they did, why not the supervisor continuously become unavailable to talk? Isnt' three weeks too long to respond for a phone call? I believe they do not have any respect for their customers and don't care about the bad product they sent out. Shame for a service company to treat a customer like this!

I sent two videotapes to be converted to DVD and my experience was horrible for two reasons: -
1. They sent my item to a wrong address three times. It took me months through calls and emails to get that corrected. Finally, the product was delivered to my door while I was not at home for more than a week, where I communicated the customer service to block any shipment/delivery in that window. They confirmed through email they will not ship it during that window but looks they don t care.
2. The entire video is with a split screen where the top screen (about two inches) shows the bottom part of the video. [If you see a man standing, the top part of the screen shows his leg and the floor he is standing on and the bottom and larger screen shows the top part of his body.] I have no interest to watch the second disk.

They keep you up to date with the progress of your order I liked that !!
I had a few Problems with them 2 of my tapes were wrong 1 was just blank and 1 was damaged so could not be put on disc. of course that was the one I wanted taped the most !! There was a note on the Damaged one saying that I would Not have to pay for it & the other had Nothing on it . I looked at there polices and If your send them something blank that can happen they offer you a free tape to disc or whatever you have the next time. They did Not do that !! I messaged them and they did refund me back to the card I payed with. I just wish that it was taken care of without me having to bug them about it. Other then that that tapes where put on disc like I wanted Thank You :)

After receiving a groupon for Southree's services, we went ahead and sent in about 40 old 8mm tapes and VHS's to be transferred to DVDs! We were thrilled with the results. Finally, after having all of these in a box in the closet for years, we are able to play them. share with family and friends, and just enjoy looking back through the years! I definitely recommend using Southtree!

Southtree is an Excellent and Professional resource! I'm so very happy that I found them! It has provided my family and I the ability to easily watch and share videos from the past. The process is all outlined, clean, and easy. The company has a great website that explains everything and "walks" you through the process. You just label and mail your tapes and mail them. Southtree expresses positive caring for your memories and updates you along the way. I received my orders in about 5-6 weeks each time. The DVDs are professionally made and look great! The DVDs I've received (about 20) are clear as can be considering the tapes I are 10+ years old. I had both VHS-C and 8mm tapes converted.The DVDs come labeled and as soon as you insert the disc, the table of contents comes up and you hit PLAY! That's it! I've had some DVDs also come in the Digital version which allowed me to share a video right to Facebook after using my Windows software. I am not tech savvy and I did it in 20 minutes, made my own little movie out of my home movies.
Definitely give Southtree a try!! You won't be disappointed. The cost is very reasonable for the awesome quality. When you sign up for emails, you will receive notifications of their discounts which occur often!
Excellent company to work with !

This company is awesome. I have used them to transfer slides to digital, as well as old vhs to digital and old 8mm film to digital. I love the rerunner feature online to maintain access to the digital format in the cloud, so that you do not have to constantly update the storage formats you save. They are reasonably priced, have excellent customer service and follow-up on questions, as well as an easy system to submit your projects.

The service logistic, general support and quality was good, but it was difficult to actually understand the real cost of the per photo conversion to make a comfortable purchase decision. The memory card with the photos was about 80$, it was unclear to me if I could have a simpler delivery on line avoiding this charge instead

Dodge at all costs. Go to wal-mart or a local multimedia center. Their "Reviews" on their website are falsified. Remember the dude from FYRE fest? Yeah these are the same types of people.

My experience with Southtree was amazing. I was nervous at first, sending one of items through the mail to some company Id had no prior interaction with. But soon all would be forgotten and all is good. I was initially told it could take up to 6 to 8 weeks to get my final product back. It took them 10 days to return my final product. Crazy!! I was super happy with the follow ups and the true professionalism from Southtree. I would have no problem using them again or telling anyone who asks about them. Great company and last but not least, the best value that I could find out there.

Excellent service, great communication, and quality product!

I was very pleased with the reproduction of the photos that I sent. I tried the Living Social application. I was not disappointed. The service was prompt and all but 1 of the pictures was reproduced. If another offer comes, I will certainly use it.

Extremely slow and impersonal service. In 2015 could drop into the store in Chattanooga, discuss the order with employees and have the products avail in 1-2 weeks. My recent experience was completely different. There is no store-front and I had to have a package shipped to me and then ship my order back to them. I initiated the order Feb 3 2020, the order was received Feb 26 (I delayed shipping to them for 1-2 weeks) and received the final product April 25. That's an 8 week turn-around!!. I was hoping to have this product available for viewing at a family reunion - "luckily" it didn't happen bc of CV-19.

Over the past several years I have converted my 8mm tapes to dvds through Southtree. I got a really great deal through Groupon. Doing this has been a great gift to myself and to my family. This past Christmas we concluded our day with watching home movie and laughing to the point of our stomachs hurting. Since Christmas we have been watching alot and have experienced many emotions. Great job - went from a full box of old tapes to one USB drive. I also got the DVDs too and have enjoyed watching all these old movies on my computer. It took a while - 10 weeks - but I got updates along the way of where they were in the process.

We have used this company twice....with two different media types. They make the submission of your media painless, quickly process the order, and return the media packed very well. The quality seems, in some cases, better than the old media you have sent them. I would not hesitate to use them again. Very pleased.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed/surprised in the quality of my 8MM & VHS tapes that were converted to CD's. They were very fuzzy (all 9 of them). I wish I would have not spent the money cause I'm debating on just tossing them. My kids can deal with the 8MM/VHS's of their childhood's when I'm long gone. Lol

They did a great job on my slides, prints and negatives. They sent me a positive image from the negatives and even put the prints back in the envelopes that I used to sort them.

Wow!!! I was about to order 2000 negatives with a 50% cyber off deal. I assume I need t o find another service provider. All these customers cannot be wrong.

Used Southtree to convert old 8mm films to DVD content for my wife. Films were from the 50s through the 70s. They did a great job converting them. Service was fast. I made a mistake with the ordering, and customer service took care of everything with maximum efficiency and covered all the expense of mailing, etc. Working with Southtree was SOOOO easy! I highly recommend these folks, polite, professional and great quality!

EXCELLENT. EASY way to digitize your old video recordings.

They did a great job, much more quickly than expected, and at a very good price. The whole process was very smooth and efficient. I will definitely use them again. I had photos digitized, not audio or video tapes, but I'm sure they are great for that, too.

One thing to be aware of is that with their lower price (non "ice") copying, they do not clean the individual negatives to remove any dust, which WILL show up on the digitized copies, so I recommend that you do this yourself before sending them in. I used a lens cleaning cloth and lens cleaning solution and it worked great.

I sent 20 tapes in two orders to SOUTHTREE. They received the tapes and delivered back to me in less than two weeks in each order. I cannot really complain since everything was perfect. The video and the audio look fine.

Very easy to do. Buy online, a package shows up, you label everything, put it back in the box and ship it off. A few weeks later, everything comes back digitized (with the originals intact). A thing of beauty.

I orginally had undertaken a huge project to transfer my old VHS and Hi-8mm cassettes unto dvds and was down to just two when my son knocked over (and killed) my only old Hi8mm player I had for many years. Needless to say I wasn't at first crazy about someone else finishing the work that I started--but I researched and settled for SOUTHTREE. They were wonderfully patient with the questions I asked which resulted in my submitting my last reels to be transferred to dvds. I was not disappointed either with the wait nor the results. I would recommend SOUTHTREE to anyone who is interested in great service and keeping the integrity of your old reels intact. Thank you SOUTHREE!

I used a Groupon to have 19 VHS tapes converted to DVD. I especially liked the peace of mind that it gave me when I received an email every so often telling me the progress of my order. I didn't really pay attention to how long it was until I got the DVDs back because I was not in any hurry, but it was definitely within the 4-6 weeks. DVD quality is the same as the VHS tapes that I sent. Great job. I would use them again.

We had quite a large number of Super 8 movies, as well as some VHS that we had not seen for a long time. We laughed and ran the video back over and over. We saw people who are gone from this world, our parents, and our children when they were small. Memories brought back fresh, that's what Southtree brings you! Highly recommend them!

I was very nervous about mailing my now adult children's childhood videos off to be put on a newer format that we could watch (given they were VCR tapes). I only had a few of these prized possessions as I did not own a video recorder when they were children. It was like Southtree knew how worried I was because they kept me informed of the process steps through emails the whole time they were working on converting them over. I can now pop in DVDs and watch them whenever I want. We laugh. We cry. We enjoy. I am so appreciative to have these small treasures in my life and it was really reasonable pricewise for the joy our family has gotten out of them. Mailing them off was the hardest part! Now I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

I had a wonderful experience with Southtree. Thankfully, I got my VHS and Digital 8mm tapes converted before they were lost forever. I did have some damage to the tapes but Southtree made DVD's from all they could manage to retrieve. I am so grateful and will use Southtree for my next project.

This company did an amazing job taking 1000 slides and old photos I sent in and mailing back in record time a nice neat jump drive organized by slide/photo. The process was clear and easy thanks to simple to follow directions and preprinted shipping labels/boxes.

I decided to go thru my mother's old slides and use this company to digitilize them as a last minute Christmas gift. I knew since I was late sending them in there was no chance to get them back in time so boy was I surprised when three days before Christmas the package was on my porch! My mom absolutely loved the slideshow! I can't thank this company enough for not only doing a fantastic job but obviously pushing themselves to do it in time for Christmas. Southtree did such a fanastic job digitizing my VHS tapes that I ordered another box. I will also send some pictures to Southtree to digitize. The process was very easy, and they did excellent work. Southtree aslo took good care of my precious memories.

Southtree did an AWESOME job on converting my videos to DVD. I couldn't wait to watch them! It brought back a lot of good memories watching the DVDs. There were videos of family members that have passed away and it was extra special to see those loved ones again. Just got back an old 7in. reel tape we had converted to CD. Quality was as good as possibly could get and took the amount of time promised. Great way to preserve old formats of tapes, pictures!

Southtree provided a high quality conversion of a 56 year old tape recording of my future wife being interviewed for the 1960 Miss Oklahoma contest. The quality of the recording was no doubt at least as good as the original recording...which was not that great back in those "dark ages"..!! They kept me informed at every step and got the CD back to me in less time than I expected. I would recommend them for any media conversion...if they can do that kind of job with such old material, I have no doubt they can handle just about anything...Kudos..!!

I bought a groupon to convert 10 tapes (8mm and VCR) to DVD and loved this service. They tell you what stage they are in while you are waiting for your DVDs to return and shipped back a nice neat package promptly. I will be looking to use them to convert a bunch of negatives to prints or DVD as well. It helps if you give them a label on each tape, to help them label your new DVDs. Thank you Southtree. I've been passing your email deals to my friends. This is a huge timesaver and well worth the price.

I had 2 micro cassettes that I wanted transferred to DVD. Great price with Southtree so I placed the order and mailed them in. I realized that it might take 6-8 weeks, but to my surprise, I kept getting updated emails from them and wa-la! They were done in about 2 weeks! I was thrilled. AND, their little email updates were fun and amusing and kept me in the loop of the process so I didn't have to worry if my tapes were lost or if anything had gone wrong.
After they arrived (and were in great shape!), I decided I had to have another copy, so off they went again and I anxiously await the next set of DVD's in the mail soon.

I was really hoping to be able to give this company 5 stars, but because of poor customer service and mixing my video tapes up, I cannot. I had all of my Hi-8 tapes organized and labeled as to what was on them. When I got the tapes back they were all in different cases and not the way I had sent them in. When I called customer service the first time, I was on hold for 10 minutes and then they hung up. Called again, same thing. I think after 10 minutes of being on hold, they drop your call. When I finally got a hold of someone, he said, "well, sometimes that happens". No apology or offer to make it right. As far as video quality, I compared them with a few I did on my own and the ones they did, seemed darker. Overall, not the experience I was hoping for. I may try another company for the rest of the videos I have.

I am so pleased with the service Southtree provided by converting old VHS tapes of my daughter when she was an infant to digital videos that I can save and preserve without fear of the tape wearing out and breaking! The quality is the same as the VHS and I can share the videos electronically. I highly recommend those who have considered preserving photos and videos to make the investment- don't wait until it's too late.

I had a video cassette that was 25 years old and another that was about 15 years old. No longer owning a VCR I decided it was time to get them burned to a DVD so I could present the older one to my sister, who was in the same position as me--no VCR. Now she is able to enjoy the recordings of her grandchildren, who have all grown and have established families of their own. She was delighted with the DVD and has already viewed it several times. I would highly recommend Southtree to everyone who has family recorded video cassettes they would like to be able to enjoy again.

Used their photo scan service for the first time and am VERY impressed. I have about 150 OLD, historical photos that I'd wanted to have scanned, but had been afraid to send them off (loss, damage, etc.). Took the plunge with Southtree and never looked back. Never had to. Every time I even THOUGHT about contacting them for an update, one would magically appear in my e-mail inbox. :) They kept me informed every step of the way. They were great keeping me updated on my order. My DVD's are wonderful.

They did a great job in a very timely manner, as promised. They kept me updated throughout the process so I knew what was going on each step of the way, which was very reassuring considering all the bad reviews I've found online. My order was simple, just converting 6 vhs tapes into simple dvds without titles. The tracking was constantly adjusted throughout the video and the quality was better than expected considering the age and condition of the tapes. One tape had been completely unwatchable on my VCR but they somehow managed to restore the whole thing and put it on dvd. They did a wonderful job at a great price and I would recommend them to my friends.

They have done several projects for us and each was done carefully, correctly and quickly. They label your photos so there is no risk of losing originals and everything is returned together in one package. Very professional!

I made my first order about 7 months ago. Before I could get them boxed and shipped, my husband unexpectedly passed away. You can imagine my emotion when I got my DVD's back and saw my precious memories saved. One of them was my 30 year old VHS of our wedding. To have it preserved was PRICELESS. I have since had several more done and plan to continue until all my different "tapes" are converted. Great communication as they move through the process makes you feel comfortable about how your memories are being cared for. I am very satisfied with the service and end product.

The process was very easy. They kept me informed as to where my order was in their process, and it arrived at my door and was in a format that was very easy to use. I will be sending some 35mm movies out to be digitalized very soon.

Excellent service. I got this service through Groupon and I had hundreds of old photos from my mom that I send in for scanning. They took about 8 weeks to get back, but they returned all of my photos and the scanned versions on a flash drive. I would highly recommend this service.

Terrible! Filled my order wrong, only sent DVD's and I ordered a thumb drive. I returned the order January 4th. Today is April 10th and I still do not have that order. Terrible customer service, hard to get answers. Implied they couldn't find my order by asking me what the box looked like that I mailed it back in. I could go on and on about how much I regret ever doing business this company.

really excited about this process and how everything turned out! it was really smooth and the customer service agent who spoke with me was very helpful. we sent in our film during a really busy time, in late november, so it took about a full six weeks to receive the finished product, but the wait was worth it!

I have been wanting to have 4 VHS tapes converted to DVD's for a long time but all places that did this were too expensive. Finally I found Southtree and was elated with the price and results. I was finally able to share these memories with my youngest daughter who had never seen them..

So easy. I just had to select the videos I wanted to transfer, and follow the directions from Southtree. The DVDs arrived in practically no time and were very viewable.

Southtree is an excellent and reasonably priced company to convert your video cassettes into DVDs. I used their services on or about 2013 and had no problem at all. They carefully protected and returned my originals. I would use them over and over again.

It was supposed to be a $14.99 deal from Groupon, but ended up costing another $10. for a thumb drive of my photos and $10. shipping cost for only 50 slides I sent in for transfer. They came out beautiful, but the huge box they sent me was ridiculous. A smaller box would have saved me some money I think. After reading the company's response, thank you for the refund !

The good, they provide a valuable service at a reasonable price. The bad, I paid to convert audio reel-to-reels and received a 1-2GB wav file for each one, not very versatile. I failed to dig into their website enough pre-order to find the article saying they don't separate tracks or albums, even though customer service told me they would. I would have paid extra for a useful digital conversion, seems they are more interested in churning out orders rather than top notch service, you can do better.

Their system of preparing your media for shipment and scanning is user friendly and leaves little room for error. My converted files were great - some of the VHS tapes I sent were 30 years old, and the slides almost as old. My only negative would be that sometimes their communication was lacking. My package was delivered but I had no idea that it was being sent. But overall - I'd definitely recommend!

When my daughter's father passed away earlier this year, she found some old home movie tapes among his personal effects. She asked if I could get them converted to DVDs. So I went looking on line researching how best to accomplish this. In my inbox I found Amazon's deal of the day for Southtree.....it was perfect. I sent off the tapes and in less than two weeks, I received the tapes and the digital DVDs back. The best part was that Southtree updated me during every step of the process. The quality is excellent and we couldn't be happier. Thank you Southtree!

I was very impressed with all the service and product from Southtree. They communicate at every step to let you know how far along your conversion is, and I received mine back in less time than promised and it was very good quality. I would definitely use them again.

Had an excellent experience with Southtree. The ordering process was clear and once they received my tapes they let me know. They returned the tapes and dvds quicker than they had estimated. Several tapes were either blank or unreadable and they clearly identified those tapes. I will be using Southtree again for some more tapes.

Southtree did a fantastic job! I was nervous sending all our precious memories off to an unknown company. No problem. I was kept informed every step of the way, from them receiving the order and right through every step of the production process. My tapes and DVDs arrived safely and in about 7 weeks (I had them convert 29 tapes, so this timeline was very satisfactory to me).

From their webpage to receiving my product in the mail, this was a very customer friendly experience. Southtree notified me that they had received my product, notified me how the process was coming along, notified me that it was in the mail and I received it much sooner than expected. I have been extremely satisfied with the entire process and plan to have more items transferred by Southtree.

Did and an excellent job of VHS to DVD conversion for multiple tapes.

I sent my family VHS tapes from 30 years ago and Southtree let me know when they arrived and kept me a breast of the progress on duplicating my tapes and let me know when they were shipped. We were very happy with the results and plan on sending more VHS tapes for them to transfer.

I've been putting off having my old camcorder 18mm tapes converted to DVDs because I was afraid they would get lost or ruined - I was afraid to let go of them! I found Southtree online and they treated them like my babies and kept me informed throughout the entire process. When they arrived back at my door in less than 2 weeks I was stunned!! We have had so much fun watching our old family videos - it's been so many years! I can't express how much joy they have brought me! they had a sale on fb for developing tapes, any tapes, for $5. I didn't notice the dates of the sale and 2 days later when they finally replied to me that my 8mm tapes were included, in my excitement I put my order in. the invoice that I paid, which came from them, stated that I owed 54.95.
they let me know when they received my order and also sent me progress reports. so far, so good. I was beyond excited....some of my tapes were 50 years old.
towards the end of the process, I get an email, telling me there was a balance of over $100. what? I paid the invoice that THEY created. the agent then tells me (with a flippant attitude) that he'll make a deal with me and only charge me half of that. I told them to send my tapes back to me or honor their invoice. they refused and my tapes arrived back home today.
its the principle of the whole thing. it was their mistake, I'm sure the whole transaction was nearly completed. why they couldn't just eat their mistake is beyond me. not very good business sense. I wouldn't recommend this company. not very ethical.

10 STARS!!! I cannot overstate what a positive experience this was! The return on investment (yeah, we had a coupon) was MORE than worth it! The ease of use and the quality of how we were handled as customers from beginning to end absolutely exceeded ALL of my expectations. AND....the cherry on top: I did all this around the holidays knowing that 3 of our 4 sons would be home, and they got 20 videos completed and returned to us BEFORE Christmas. Again, I cannot say enough positive, and I have recommended to ALL our family and friends. FYI, get registered with them or watch for groupons or coupons on Facebook because they regularly have coupons ranging from 30% to 70% off.

I contacted the Southtree website as a result of a posting on FB. The cost with discount was reasonable, so I sent VHS in to convert to DVDs. I received an email from the company at every step of the process: they received my items; reviewed my items; sent them to processing; and they are on their way back to me. Excellent customer service. I then decided to send in some audio cassettes to convert to CDs. These would not have been received by Christmas due to time frame; however, they did anyway. Appreciated the quick turnaround. The quality of the items is good considering mine were over 20 years old. Only one was too bad that it could not be converted and they tagged it and gave me an explanation. A good company and I highly recommend.

My experience with Southtree in getting my VHS tapes transferred to CDs was excellent. E-mails were sent to me regarding the progress of my order/request. Not only is this the case with my first order, but midway through the process, and because of Southtree's e-mail updates, I sent a second order to be processed. I felt that if this company took the time to keep me posted on the progress of my family videos to CDs, that any issues that would come up their customer service would be top-notch, which was the case. Specifically, on my first order, I forgot to add a coupon code and sent an e-mail right away, but because I didn't want order processed w/o code, I called and didn't have to go through the annoying "for this, press 1 or 2 or 3" and actually talked to a real person who was courteous, helpful and professional and received a reply e-mail that code was applied. Another plus were the discounts offered which were awesome and made the decision that much more easier to use Southtree. Truly a great experience.

This service was fast. Setting up the tapes was easy to do following the simple directions. The price was great as was the honesty level due to the fact I sent a blank tape which THEY found and contacted me to give me options on how we deal with it.. My experience was great and I look forward to working with them again once the rest of the tapes are released from captivity.

Great and professional! I sent all of my parents VHS home videos to be transferred to DVD for their anniversary. I was a bit nervous considering they were so old but Southtree did an amazing job preserving the AV quality. They also kept me up to date on every step they made, sending an email once they arrived, when they started to clean them, when they were transferring, and when they sent them out. I never felt in the dark about what was happening and that is important to me. Their prices are also the best I've seen especially for their quality work!

You have to read what you are buying, their DVDs are only playable on a DVD player they are not mp4s or another digital format, they can give you that at an additional charge. Had to send mine back to get put on a thumb drive (extra time) then the box arrived and no thumb drive. They try to make things right but are not very good at it.

This place is rocking it!!! I sent photo slides that had been given to me from my grandmother. These slides were taken between 1950 and the late 1980's, but regardless of the date taken, they all came out great. What I personally loved about Southtree is that they provide updates throughout the production process - everything from them receiving your package to them prepping your product to be digitalized. It took only approximately 8-10 weeks for the process to be completed, which is pretty quick in comparison to the rest of the industry. Southtree individually cleaned each photo slide I provided them, and then put them on a CD data disc. The moment I shared with my family, it instantly revived memories that had been buried with these old photo slides that hadn't been touched in over 20 years.

Overall, I would highly recommend Southtree, and plan on using them again.

Saving family memories is as easy as the ads say it is! I sent off our films and received a dvd with no problems. Southtree informed me all along the way just what was happening with my movies. No muss, no fuss! I was very satisfied with our dvd and got all our home movies transferred.

I've used four video and photo transfer services and Southtree takes top honors. The site is super friendly, the prices are among the lowest, the service was timely and the product was exceptional. I recently had Hi 8 cassettes transferred to mp4 so I could easily edit the media in iMovie. I am sensationally impressed since I can share all of my and my father's old video and film with my children and grandchildren through Airplay on AppleTV. Thank you Southtree!!!!

Great service! Was hesitant on sending in my only copy of my son's Christening, but made the leap of faith. After sending the tapes, I received emails from the team keeping me updated on their progress. The final data discs and orginal tapes were returned to me after appprxiamtely 4 weeks. I am now able to watch the Christening from any of my devices and TV with ease. I will definitely be using Southtree's services again!

They did a great job with the small 8 mm films I sent in. Looks great! I want them to do more but don't like their pricing as they charge by the reel - not the length of film. My Mom has many old films on 5 inch reels that are not even close to be full. I hate to pay $50 for the amount that is on the reels. Three or four reels would be enough film for one 5 inch reel but I"m going to have to pay a lot more because my mother put on reels by subject (such as their wedding which is probably two or three small 8 mm films) instead of filling the reels as full as possible. But, I guess I need it done.

I originally bought a Groupon to transfer our VHS-C tapes to digital, and was very reluctant to send off these valuable items. (We did "back them up" onto regular-sized VHS tapes just in case) It was quite a wait (which we were informed of before we sent them in), but when we got the items back, it was well worth the wait. The quality of the video is what you'd expect. They look like VHS quality, but having them saved digitally where we can watch them whenever we'd like, and share them, was worth every penny and the wait. We were so pleased, that I sent my parents' 8mm film to them just this week as an anniversary gift. Can't wait (but will) to get them back and to see the looks on my parents' faces as they get to relive the memories! The long wait is the only thing that prevented me from giving them 5 stars.

Southtree turned my old videos into DVDs! I was afraid they would be too old and nothing would be able to be restored. But Southtree did it! I was so happy to have the memories back to watch as often as I want! Thank you Team Southtree!!!

We have a big tin box of 8mm/super 8 movies from the '50s that I've started having converted to DVDs. I sent a portion of them to Southtree. Despite what they said about taking 6-8 weeks, I received my DVD in a little over 2 weeks. The whole family was together on Christmas Eve (2015) and had a great time seeing us as children and my parents as young adults. The grand & great grands were amused to see the oldies younger than they are. I just received my 2nd batch back from Southtree and will be sending in the 3rd shortly. Great service - they keep you informed during the whole process on where your films are. Obviously I highly recommend Southtree.

My biggest complaint is that they did not clean slide prior to scanning leave me with a sub par photos with tons of dust. VHS conversion were OK for the most part with one being returned with a report of prior damage. Left my place OK, but not worth the battle. I will convert it myself at a latter date. Actual rating is 3 1/2 stars.
