Great hotel with amazing service and very friendly staff. The food was great, the pool area beautiful and the beach very nice. We spent 1 week at the hotel with our 1-year old and it was a very relaxing holiday.
One negative thing was that when we arrived, our son (he doesn't walk yet) crawled around in our room and on the balcony. The balcony floor was quite dirty and had bird poop on it and our babys hands and knees were black within minutes. This was disappointing for a 5-star hotel. We asked them to clean the floor and they did it that same evening. Unfortunately the room service never cleaned the balcony floor (and new bird poop) again during the rest of our stay and also some sand and crumbs (from baby eating) in our room never got cleaned up during the whole week... this made us wonder about the general thouroughness of cleaning done at the hotel.
Also the prices for food and beverages at the hotel are very high.

We have been here twice. We love this hotel and the staff is incredible! We always had a prompt response with any issues and were greeted by name so often I wondered how they did it. Top-notch service. , Sofitel Dubai The Palm takes the #1 spot for service, relaxation and best rooms. Thank you!

Luxury. Nice big rooms, free wifi, very good fitness room with new exercise equipment, nice beach, free shuttle bus to the malls. We liked everything about this hotel.

We didn't have the kids, but the kids had had the very best here!

Overall enjoyed our stay despite not having a prewarning of the long wait between landing/arriving at the hotel and getting a room. Apparently this is common practice but the first time we ever faced it. The reception manager placated us with a courtesy room, hence the 4 stars. Be
warned that the food and drinks are expensive. Recommend half-board. They will upsell you the all inclusive drinks offer (no use to teetotallers like us)
In terms of onsite restaurants, we liked Maui (Indian cuisine so the name is a bit odd!)
Mostly ate at Manava the buffet style restaurant because of the variety that we could enjoy despite being vegetarian.
Didn't try any of the other restaurants onsite as the cuisine (Chinese, Steakhouse, Seafood) was not quite as appealing to a vegetarian.

Five stars all worth

It was very crowded, we recived the room by 6 pm. Company event was there with lots of un polite people. We recived additional towels after 3 am!! The beach is slime and not clean at all

If you have a good money for tour than stay in this hotel.

Lovely hotel with the best pools. Great place for families and singles/couples too. Staff are so well trained and polite. Cleanliness standards are absolutely high. Good in-house restaurants too.

Honestly always when I visit Sofitel something wrong happened with us !! But , I really do appreciate Mr.Suliman, Ms. Samera , Win and all the staff, But specially (Suliman &Samera) they are doing a superhero job !! All the weekend I see them at morning and night as if they not leave the place haha haha but Really they are kind & helpful they trying to make the visitors happy and satisfied . Really big thank for them ( Nice hotel and it s not first time for me visiting Sofital and will be Soon there again

Great and awesome hotel to enjoy the holiday with spectacular views with amazing staffs.

I went there for a beach acess and a brunch. The beach is nice and clean with comfy sunbed. Regarding the brunch which was at the world eatery restaurant I can see it was average, quantity wise it was huge but quality wise it really need improvements as taste of the food is much important than it's quantity

Beautiful hotel, amazing location and facilities, very spacious room, well equipped, tastefully design of the room, you can feel the harmony of colours and architectural style everywhere in the resort. And, overall, a
good selection of restaurants.
The hotel is always busy but does not seem prepared to accommodate all the guests' needs. We found it difficult to be accommodated by the main pool on a Friday and we were informed that "unfortunately, we came on a Friday and it is very busy'. Well, that is not the answer a guest wants to hear. On the reception service, speaking less and doing more would be fantastic. The CSR was speaking non stop even contracting us when trying to share some of the less positive experiences.
Live entertainment would add flavour and spice to the guests' experience but we could not find any: not in the pool, not in the restaurants.
Well equipped gym and great selection of spa treatments.
Hotel's app was inviting us to the advantage of various offers and promotions that the staff wasn't necessarily aware of. However, that wasn't a big problem, it was just the time we had to wait until we got the final bill.
There are plenty of facilities and activities for children which was very good.
Overall a nice experience, some work on the customer scrie scripts when dealing with customers would tremendously help.

The room was beautiful, but initially not given the room we booked. Fortunately, the duty manager helped us and sorted us an up to standard room.
Seem understaffed as room service would take forever (nearly 2 hours), and when trying to book the onsite restaurant (steakhouse because the others were closed), the staff never got round to ever booking our table, or advising us about a dress code. Fortunately, a nearby hotel/restaurant accommodated us so that we could enjoy our anniversary.

Very good hotel, very friendly staff, varied and abundant buffet

Excellent resort with fantastic friendly staff. Perfect for a family holiday or for couples. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and were treated with smiles all around. We were shown to our room by Ratna who explained the features of the resort, where breakfast could be found and setup our room for us.
We were delightfully surprised with a room upgrade to junior suite which was lovely. Breakfast options a great. Cannot fault anything about this beautiful resort

We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights in October 2019. The hotel is really nice and has great facilities. It's very tidy and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. However, from a service perspective, this was not a 5-star hotel. It was too busy and there were not enough staff. Every morning of our stay, we had to queue for breakfast at The World Eatery restaurant. Sometimes we queued up to 20 minutes. Not ideal with a young baby. There were lots of empty tables but just not enough staff to clean the tables. The pools were also very busy and it was a struggle to get sunbeds together. Not quite what you expect from a 5-star hotel. The drinks were expensive. Lastly, there were hardly any gluten-free options for my wife. Nearly every dish in every restaurant contained gluten. This probably sounds like a negative review but it's not intended to be. It's a nice hotel. But if you have saved hard for a 5-star experience, in my opinion, this hotel will not meet your expectations

Brilliant facilities, brilliant staff, brilliant accommodation.

The amenities and luxurious room appointments are excellent. The service of staffs are impeccable while being very friendly. There are plenty of choices in terms of activities and dining. The gym and tennis court are there as well as places for stake and bar, Chinese and seafood restaurants. You can swim in the pool or in the beach. Kids also will have plenty of things to do and enjoy from. The only drawback is the temperature outside during the summer which was unbearably hot. It is a bit far from the city center but all you need in a business visit or family vacation is there.

Really enjoyed this hotel, especially porterhouse restaurant.

If you are a windsurfer, this is the place in Dubai.

Luxury at it's best - the beds are to die for and everyone around is so gentle and polite. Maui beach restaurant is so enjoyable at late night - a fairytale atmosphere.. I will be back..xxx

Great staff and great service throughout my whole stay.

I've had amazing week's experience with my kid (4 y.o) this January 2020 in Sofitel the Palm - true tropical paradise, a little French Polynesia in Dubai!! I really appreciated the great pro-active service of the team, every our wish and even thought were approached with real care and attention. The room was spacious and always clean, also with the nice view. The swimming pool was amazing! All the restaurants were great, especially Seafood MOANA recommended for dinners. For the lunch we preferred the Lounge on the seaside - cool music and sushi! Breakfasts were very tasty - we tried cosy The World Eatery, a lot of fresh juices, fresh bakery and big variety of delicious hot dishes! And very nice KID's Club, where my son played while I spent couple of hours in the SPA. SPA in Sofitel is truly amazing, green and beautiful - you have to try! Car-transfer to the airport was a blast - upgrade to the cosmic TESLA was unexpected bonus to our perfect stay!!! I want to thank so much the Management of SOFITEL team and the whole team for making our family vacation so memorable and unforgettable! Warmest regards, Katya and Damien

excellent and first class service as well as courteous friendly staff. Perfect location for Atlantis Erlebniswelt. Particularly safe pool area as beach area by extremely attentive liveguards. Excellent themed restaurants and buffet restaurant. However, the prices are higher (customary) for 0.33ltr. Fanta (here Mirinda) 30AED almost 8Euro. Otherwise fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommended. Excellent concierge service.

My famil and I stayed at the Sofitel The Palm Resort & Spa in March 2016 and had a great all round experience. Throughout our two week stay we were very well looked after and the staff were excellent which is why we are returning again in July this year!
We returned in July 2017 knowing full well the temperatures can rise above 50 degrees! Yes, it's cheaper at this time of year as as long as you can bare the heat it is still a wonderful experience. This visit was partly about business too and getting around to various appointments was easy, even to Abu Dhabi.
This time we did not have an apartment but one of the hotels family suits which worked quite well for us despite no kitchen or washing machine! The hotel laundry service is very expensive but we have discovered an external laundry service! I am sure that future visits will revolve around an apartment and savings can be made on doing your own laundry and some cooking. Will keep you posted.

The place is beautiful and comfortable with restaurants, grocery, pharmacy and some other stores

LOCATION , LOCATION , LOCATION!!! Expensive but wow what a location. Food is average but try for the a-la-carte menus which are much better quality. To stay at this hotel is great and the private beach and pool are wonderful. Car parking is plentiful and getting on and off the palm is okay, but can be expensive by taxi.

Very good and courteous service. Room (62 sqm) very nice and clean. Great and very attentive room service! Beautiful plant in Polynesian style. Very nice pool area. The beach was very clean (sea water was extremely warm, so we mostly stayed at the pool). Breakfast we booked in the hotel afterwards (was cheaper than booking platform). Very fine we also found the free shuttle service to the city (Dubai Mail, Burj Khalifa, etc.).

Staff are very nice and friendly. We were lucky to stay in the suite which also provide access to the Club. Food and drinks are simple but nice. Most importantly, we were able to stay until evening after check out because of our flight schedule. Will definitely go again!

Loved staying here. The staff is amazingly helpful, the breakfast is flabbergasting. If you want a romantic getaway in Dubai, then I would recommend this place. The prices are on a higher end, nonetheless an felicitous value for money.

I stayed the last 3 days (during covid) and I m impressed with the safety measures that Sofitel has. I felt super safe during my stay, and the service from part of the staff was exceptional.
I will definitely come back!

Very nice quiet and luxurious hotel, the hotel has our expectations completely fulfilled :-), I can only recommend to because stressful altag in Dubai City to endgegen.

Great hotel with excellent service and food - especially the Chinese restaurant and Porterhouse steak restaurant which was amazing food. Laguna lounge is perfect for chilling out with great tunes by the new DJ! Would definitely recommend and come back again.

Such a nice hotel with friendly staff. We went to the spa where you have all day access to the spa amenities (plunge pool, sauna, steam, hydrotherapy pool) and amazing massages.
They have an outdoor pool for the spa guests you use, however, half of it is under construction still.
All in all a great experience! They also give you tea, fruits, and nuts
