Interior is the older explorer style which is not my style. Good food. 5 stars for that. Other than that, everything as expected for price.

Excellent hotel resort & hospitality & services ;would recommend to everyone for vacation and wedding

Very pleasant hotel, good staff, great breakfast. A really lovely stay, with staff being helpful. a most comfortable room, lovely grounds, just an enchanting experience.

The ONLY downside (and the reason this did not get 10/10) was the ridiculous Spa rules if you want to use the Sauna or Steam room (Hammam), where they want you to pick up a towel from the poolside and later deposit it at poolside after use. This is the first hotel I have used where the Spa does not provide towels! It defeats the purpose of being relaxed, if one has to go across to the pool both before and after the spa experience.

One other minor issue is that the beach has a lot of broken coral, but that is the same everywhere around Flic en Flac.

Great hotel, food very good. Very clean, condition very nice. Would go again.

Beautiful experience good buffet foods , even the other inside Resturant s they have are so good , we tried the Japanese and the muration resturant are great .

Maybe the only thing I would suggest is having a small pharmacy , or at least machine that sells important stuff like sunscreen and others .

It's nice place. beatiful beach is also very perfect!! good service and employee is very kind. but little bit ignore the Asian.

The stay was pleasant overall! The spacious rooms, the idyllic surroundings, the excellent meals allowed us to spend 4 relaxed days. The spa was up to our expectations, it was a real escape thanks beauticians, thank you to them!
Some negative points justify the note:
- We deplore a lack of attention and consideration on the part of the reception staff, who several times made us seemingly wait unnecessarily.
- The activities did not look well organized. We asked 3 different places (towels, boat house, boat house annex) if we could do archery and how. We were sent in front of the targets, making sure that the facilitator was arriving at 3pm. At 15:10 he was not there, we turned around.
- Last but not least, the previous occupants of the room smoked indoors. Not only did the hotel not make the necessary to remove the smells of tobacco (room 208) before our arrival (the quilt stank and was rolled into a ball in a closet), but in addition we were not warned and we did not offer to change rooms. When I first reported the problem, the bed linen was changed. But the smell was still present. I posted it a second time the next day. Nothing was done. We spent our entire stay with these smells of cold tobacco.
Moreover, for our 25 years of marriage we would have liked to have a few small touches from a 5 * hotel, but nothing! Pity !

Quiet, no crowded beach, distance between the beach chairs around 10 meters. Nice view from the Seaview rooms. Food very good, not sensational, lots of fruit. Friendly, helpful staff.
BUT: wheelchair or buggy a disaster (actually only 1 star rating). No barrier-free toilet, no elevator, public rooms (bar, etc.) only accessible via steps. At Accor / Sofitel: we live in the 21st century, barrier-free construction should be standard!

Pleasant and well located hotel, the staff is warm and smiling, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the restaurants offer a multitude of choices, we would like to thank Mr Parvesh Jugmohun the manager for his professionalism and his attentiveness to us during our stay. We had an unforgettable vacation in Mauritius !!
Hotel to recommend, we will come back for our next stay in the island.

Great luxury hotel!

This is a hotel I would clearly recommend for anyone who wants to visit Mauritius.
Everything is as you would expect from a 5* international brand hotel.

We stayed here for one week, during our holiday in Mauritius and I can say that we enjoyed it a lot.

Our package included half board, so in the morning and in the evening we could benefit from the very nice selection of food. Each evening there was a different food theme.

The hotel has a large beach at the water front just perfect for swimming or snorkeling. There are also pedal boats available for free to the hotel customers.

As amenities, the hotel has a few saunas, spa facilities, a few "a la carte" restaurants which are available only with an advance reservation.

Classy place. Very beautiful and friendly staff. Good experience at restaurant Ming.

The spa pool was empty, no more water ?? What happened ? The so spa?

We have just finished our vacation on a paradise island, in this hotel where we found with happiness all the staff who were devoted to our happiness and our well being. We celebrated my birthday there and the day was full of surprises and emotions.

Top staff, management present and attentive.

OK overall, you can get more hospitality for your dollar at for example the LUX in Le Morne. However, the biggest problem is the fly infestation. I am not one to leave negative reviews, hence the 3 stars, but hopefully this will start a movement from management to address the issue. Its so bad you cannot even taste your food because you are to busy swatting flies for the entire lunch. With no flies the place is a 4 star. 5 stars would be incredible hospitality, food and luxurious facilities.

We weren't at the Sofitel but at the Hilton which is next to it. Both great places to stay and food is good.

I love this a hotel that makes you dream and I find that it deserves more than these 5 stars the swimming pool is superb the welcome is warm and the cuisine in all the restaurants is at the top nothing negative to say about this wonderful hotel

Beautiful garden with waterfalls and water jet. Beautiful SPA and all his staff is friendly. Good home gym. Well appointed room, nice bathroom, poor soundproofing, good room service. Restoration too typical European, average quality.

Quality experience, but the arrival was nightmarish
Check in 12:25, my room was given to me ready at 15H20, almost 3 hours later. Knowing that I had 14 hours of plane in the legs, plus 3 hours of stopover in Dubai. Short harassed, a pity of this lack of attention for a 5 stars

Finally the SPA should give bathrobes to the right size: -) to avoid walking with the apparent panties.

Otherwise, impossible to integrate this stay on my account ACCORHOTELS, what a pity decidedly !!!!

Probably my best Hotel in Mauritius so far. The best beach, after all it shares the same are with flic en flac beach. My highlight goes to the huge bath tub in the luxury and spacious bathrooms. A bit pricey but worth the stay.

A very good hotel. Lots of fun activities are there. Good environment and facilities by them are loving. -2 star just because of food. Indian food is just missing as my sixth finger in my hand is missing. Family and friends had trouble of food. Other than food it was an awesome experience staying here.

I booked from the reservation app where it was free of charge for breakfast and spa for guests. I went to the spa center for them and asked for a foot massage and pedicure service for fingernails. I went to the reception and after the question the employee told me that only the spa bath is free of charge, the rest of the services have fees, and he never told me in the beginning, but he said that all the spa services are free !!

This hotel is definitely a must stay hotel with a very good service delivered by the team.

An idyllic stay, perfect home, top room ... the PARADISE

It's been 6 days that we are in this paradise on earth. Very nice staff very caring. Beautiful rooms, very clean, and buffets morning and evening of very high quality and very original. Themes every night. This hotel deserves its reputation. A dream vacation in a beautiful environment. The garden between the hotel and the beach is beautiful. Pool grandiose and clean. On 9 hectares of tropical gardens, this contemporary, beachfront spa resort is 9 km from the Casela Nature Park, 15 km from the Tamarina Golf Club and 20 km from the Rempart Mountain.

The relaxed rooms and suites have a tropical vibe and feature balconies or terraces with ocean or garden views. All offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screens and minibars, as well as tea and coffeemakers. Room service is available. Upgraded suites add butler service and espresso machines.

Amenities include a spa with a Jacuzzi, plus 2 bars and 5 restaurants, 2 of which serve Asian cuisine. There's an outdoor pool and a kid's club; tennis and scuba diving are available.

Beautiful hotel about 1 hour drive from the airport. The buildings blend in with the lush natural surroundings.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bedding, cozy, allows a good rest. There is a bathtub and a shower.
A balcony allows you to relax in front of the ocean, a few steps, beyond the coconut trees and colorful trees.
The corridors, the dining rooms, the reception are open on the outside, which gives a feeling of freedom and allows to take advantage constantly of the nature.
The buffet restaurant is very good, varied.
The gym overlooks an aqua pool, which gives a pleasant and unusual impression; the pool itself is large and clean.
Finally, facing the sea, in the evening, the lapping ripples on a background of blazing sun sends us to paradise.

Impossible to complain about this luxurious place. Immense pool by the beautiful lagoon, super relaxed, friendly and dedicated staff-in particular with the kids, king-sized comfy beds, endless yummy buffet breakfast, awesome kids club with great activities and quality lunch, dolphins watch, snorkeling and so on...we are very priviledged and thankful to spend time in this magical place. Expect high prices (similar to Paris) for not included food, drinks and extra services but otherwise this place is quite magical when you're not used to be spoiled like that

We took advantage of the Day package and it was superb, excellent value for money.
The delicious food .. the very large swimming pool, the magnificent view and the soothing relaxing atmosphere.
The staff at the top, they are very smiling, warm and very helpful this
which made the day more enjoyable.

- aging hotel, wait for a renovation to go there because there at this price there is better elsewhere, it no longer deserves its 5 stars. Leak in the 2 bathrooms of the room, lack of electrical outlet, disgusting deckchair at the pool and at the beach (which is not the most beautiful ...) the price of bottles of water at the restaurant ...
We had a good time with family but we stay with a little taste of disappointment when we compare to other 5 stars on the island.

I stayed with you two nights. Personal attentive, pleasant, smiling, whether at the bar, restaurant, spa. very clean room, and thanks to joanne for booking for her efficiency.

The hotel is very good overall, the only drawback is the attire for men at night, obliged to put on pants and the price of restaurants which is 4X higher than restaurants in the city of Flic in Flac which is 3.5km from the hotel, suddenly we went out every night to eat outside.

The rest nothing to say, the staff is super nice, there are organized activities, etc ...

Anything beyond the basic formula, for supplements it's expensive. The spa, taxi service, drinks, meals outside the formula, etc. Expensive expensive .... Too bad the setting, the attentive staff is one of the qualities of this hotel.

Very nice hotel overlooking the beach, with a very professional and pleasant staff.
Buffet breakfast in an open room overlooking the pool and the beach. Dinner at the same place with mandatory business casual outfit (shorts, flip-flops, sarongs and other prohibited beachwear)
The hotel has other restaurants and offers water activities.
Two main types of rooms: rooms overlooking the beach with beautiful views or very nice suites in bungalows but not directly on the beach.

Beautiful resort, amazing staff, great food...overall an amazing holiday I'll never forget.
