The best! They came and picked me up at the body shop and took me to get the rental and when my car was ready to be picked up, I just left it at the body shop and they came and picked it up, no extra charge. Just great service all the way around! It couldn't have been easier or gone any smoother.

We rented from this place because it was cheap and we were going to Disneyland for a few days (thurs to mon) and the girl we rented from seemed robotic (not uncommon for girls her age at all) the biggest telltale sign for me that I m about to have a bad experience is when they ask for a review ahead of time.

Our first problem happened a few minutes after we drove off the lot. As we tried to put gas, the card we used was declined and it turned out an extra $200 was taken from the account. We had to call but it wasn t explained to us that there would be a deposit.

Our worst was the drop off. We dropped it off at 9pm as we got back around 7:30 and had to drop everyone off plus fill it with gas. I didn t think we needed to take a picture for proof but TAKE A PICTURE AS PROOF. They claim to have NO CAMERAS on their property.

So they said we never returned it and after playing phone tag with everyone, the girl we rented from DOESNT work there anymore, and they actually rented out the car BEFORE verifying that we returned it. So we returned it, they just rented it to someone else immediately.

That s not only unprofessional, that is very messy. Do you need to retrain your employees, Enterprise?! Or do you linger on a faulty system?!

Either way, how in the HECK do you deal with cars and NOT have cameras?! These are expensive cars and you re telling us you re going to charge US for a brand new car?! No.

NEVER rent from here unless you re willing to be extra. Terrible customer service and so much stress for what was supposed to be a vacation. Go to Hertz next door. Rent a freaking mule. Idc, don t come here.

Avoid this Enterprise location. When I got there, they didn't have the car class matching my "confirmed" reservation. At other Enterprise locations, they usually give you a free upgrade (you just pay the additional taxes) - but at this Enterprise location they tried to charge me 50% more than the reservation price for the upgrade.

If you need an AWD/4WD vehicle for trips to Tahoe, don't try to rent an AWD/4WD vehicle from this location. They try to tack on an extra $25/day (!!!) fee for "guaranteeing all wheel drive, which is an extra feature." In some cases, this doubles the total rental cost. And the worst thing is -- when I pressed them on it over the phone, they admitted that it's not Enterprise policy, it's not standard across locations, it's an entirely discretionary charge. The people running this Enterprise set the arbitrary fee. If you want AWD/4WD, go to Hertz. They'll make a note of it, give you the vehicle at the same rate as published online, and not try to scam you.

Not open Saturday afternoons...at any South Bay location! They close at 12! But they gave me a 12 noon reservation! I show up at 12:10 place is locked up. I call them. They tell be all locations close at 12, even the airport locations!

Friendly service. But I had a 5pm reservation, showed up at 5:10 and was told that the car just needed to be washed and would take 5-8min. Instead it took about 50 min before the car was finally ready. I periodically asked for updates but kept getting told car is pulling up now. I would be ok if things were unexpectedly delayed, but being told 5-8 min then waiting 50 min with no explanation is unacceptable.

I had the displeasure of renting through Enterprise during COVID-19, because of necessary travel. I booked the car successfully through the website, picked up at the airport, and planned to drop off at a different location. When it came time for drop off, it turned out that the planned location (which I could walk back from) had been closed for 3 months! Throughout the whole reservation and rental process, no one bothered to inform me. I called the number for the location, and was forwarded to another location miles away. I was suddenly expected to return the car at a different location, miles away, and figure out how to get back to where I needed to be in an unfamiliar city.

The only silver lining was that the Lyft driver (which Enterprise did not reimburse me for) also had an Enterprise horror story, so we commiserated together on the way back.

We had a late night flight and no idea what to do with our bags or ourselves for the day. Originally we were just going to rent a small basic car for the day and return it after hours. They picked us up and when we got to the store there was a shiny Tesla just tempting me... Out of curiosity I asked how much more it would be for the day... $40 more. Needless to say I rationalized that by saying it's basically an entertainment charge that keeps us from wanting to spend money on a museum we'll be bored in or eating too much food at a happy hour lol. No gas charges and no need to top up the electric charge, but the joy of driving one for the day.
They did refund the wrong amount because for some reason they thought I had it for two days. I called the local office and got lucky by talking to the same guy we rented the car from and he remembered us and he also remembered seeing us bring the car back as he was leaving. He refunded the charges for the extra day, so just because it was easy and there were no arguments about us having the car for the extra day I'm saying it was 5-stars.
It was a great way to spend a few hours. Driving to the bayshore, scooting around googleplex and checking out moutain view. It was also the hottest day on record for Palo Alto that day and the Tesla was comfortable quickly every time we got back in the car.

Overall, I was satisfied with my experience. I had to change my return date a couple of times and I was accommodated fine. My only complaint is that the 2 vehicles I rented were a bit dirty on the inside. It's been raining a lot in the Bay Area so the exterior was not an issue. I'm referring to stained seats and miscellaneous items (lint, a piece of a wrapper, someone else's paperwork) inside of the vehicle. The stained seats are a biggie. I mean come on. How hard is it to clean the seats with an over the counter product OR take it to a cash wash?

With that said, I'd still use Enterprise in the future. I like the pick-up/drop-off service as well.

I was referred to this location through the at-fault party's insurance. The staff was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and efficient. They seemed to have a lot of experience working with insurance as well. The whole process went very smoothly :)

Made a reservation online, called to confirm that the car was ready for pick up, and the car was dirty, the inside had a strong cigarette odor, I asked for a different vehicle, they willing to do the exchange at an additional $10 daily charge. Return the vehicle, on Saturday but they charge two additional days, even though I gave the keys to one of their employees Saturday morning. But in all other aspects, they are helpful and friendly.

I was not happy with the overall experience. There were aspects about renting from Enterprise that was great, but my overall experience was not satisfactory. I was picked up from the auto-body shop from a very professional and nice gentleman, which was great. But upon arriving at the rental office, the experience was a little chaotic. There were employees sitting around and walking around without anything to do, but I had to wait to be served. The car that was assigned to me was small and not very comfortable. I remember it being a Hyundai. It didn't drive well, the switching gears wasn't smooth, car wasn't as clean as I expected. When it was time for me to return the car, the office closed at 12pm on a Saturday and all day on Sunday, which was very inconvenient. I had to wait until Monday to return my car, which then entailed another layer of planning to bring the car back on another day.

Excellent experience. We were driven to the train station after we dropped the car at Enterprise. Very convenient. The process of renting was quick and smooth. Very knowledgeable and efficient staff and very good price. Nothing added to the price listed on the internet either. Great company!

Service was fast and convenient, but joking about another customer paying $500 to replace a key then handing me the broken key to figure out remote access was a bit on the poor service side. Iasked why the key had not been replaced, he stated we had to rent the car. Last time, the car wasn't clean. I didn't discover the food on the passenger seat until after I left. Cheaper than SFO airport, but not the same level of service

This location fills the rental car tanks to 3/4, which is difficult to fill to without going over. This enables them to get free gas from customers overfilling tanks when returning the vehicle.

Exploitative business practices. Take your money elsewhere.

I rented a 12 seater van recently from this location. The pick up was easy, the pricing was great and the manager at that time was very customer friendly and gave me the car a day earlier. However, when I returned the car, I saw a strange charge for ~$100 on the receipt. When I inquired about it, the associate mentioned that he had no idea what that was for. Then we went to the manager (different manager this time). She said that she had put that charge since the car was picked up a day before and that the previous manager should not have given that as comp. This really upset me and I told her that I do not expect to be charged for another day when the contract I had signed on did not say so. She took out the charge saying lesson learnt! I think this is basic customer service. There is a contract that you have the customer signed written by you. There should not be any debate about whether to follow it!! Be careful everyone and be sure to read your receipts. I am giving it 3 stars primarily because of the first manager who comped me a day.

Could not have been any easier got picked up and was in and out in no time was able to drop it off before they open. The free up-grade was much appreciated.
The staff was very friend and knew what they were doing I will definitely use enterprise again and this location was very convenient.

The whole service looked like a scam. I booked a cheap car like Toyota Vitz or so online using their "only $9.99 per day weekend special" so the total should have been roughly $30. Upon arrival my car was silently substituted to Dodge Charger which eats way much more gallons per mile than Vitz. To my notice that I booked another car the representative said there were no other cars available. How come if I booked my car 5 days beforehand? But the greater surprise was to find out that I also should buy insurance package with costed $37 per day, so my total rose from $30 to $150. Being on their site I've *never been informed about any insurance*. Of course, I could opt out of insurance, but I didn't want to cover the cost of the Charger just in case. Instead, I'd like to see the insurance prices *before* I booked the car. Finally, the staff said that $37 is a flat rate for all sedans, which sounded like a hoax. Just to compare with their competitor - Hertz - when I book a car online I always know my total and what's exactly included into the price. I also several times received car upgrade, but the insurance always stayed unchanged. It's unlikely that I will ever try Enterprise again.

I got a great weekend deal and the customer service reps were very nice. The facility is conveniently located and has deals that the airports and Stanford don't offer. Excellent if you are staying in or near Palo Alto. I gave them only four stars because when I returned the car, the manager was present and I listened to her boss the employees around (rather loudly). I really didn't like to see/hear that because if I were one of the employees, I would have felt belittled or disrespected. Plus, it was early morning, I had to wait for a shuttle to the airport and she said they didn't have any coffee because they ran out two weeks ago. I know Enterprise isn't obligated to give customers coffee, but it would be a nice, five star-earning touch. In fact, every other Enterprise I've used has provided bottled water, so I know they think about these small comforts.

Branch Manager Nicole Milner runs a friendly, efficient and helpful operation. My situation was a little difficult and she was able to smooth out the problems with ease. And the ride back to my work office after I had returned the vehicle was icing on the cake. I can't recommend this Enterprise location highly enough. In all my dealings with car rental services, I have never had a better experience.

The employees here are ridiculous. I asked to remain indoors while waiting for an Uber due to poor air quality due to wildfires. They told me that they are trying to minimize the number of people inside due to the pandemic, but yet no one was inside at the time. It seems they pick and choose the health precautions they want to enforce because the manager pulled down his mask to speak to a customer. I simply asked again (politely) to remain in the store, but he threatened that if I didn't leave, he would call the police. Just unnecessary to escalate the situation so quickly ...

I thought their service was really handy and valuable since it would have been very costly for me to get to them to pick up the car. They arrived at my location with all the paperwork.ready for me to sign so I didn't have to get to their office. The people were all very pleasant. The only thing I would say that is a heads up is that they need to work out a new policy for people who rent over the weekend and return their car on Sunday. (That's not what I did but I heard about it.) This location, as I understand it, charges the customer as if the car was returned on Monday because that's when THEY return to the office. I would never agree to a contract like that. They need to find out how other locations nationwide handle that situation. .

These guys are willing to go down to about $27 per day for an econo-car if you give them a good reason.

This is a training center for Enterprise. The quality of service you receive all depends on the student. I've actually had one student twice, and she clearly doesn't understand relationship marketing as opposed to driving hard to squeeze the last dime out of a deal. She swapped cars on me upgrading me to a pricier model , even though I had made it clear that I was about to drive the car for a grand total of perhaps 50 miles and all I needed was a simple ride.

But I get great deals because my mechanic sends so many customers. My Car Doctors understand how to build relationships. Cheaper than taking uber/lyft home.

I booked a car from June 1 to June 2 and returned the car on time. Since the building is not staffed over the weekend I just parked the car exactly where I had picked it up, (on the street in front of the office) and put the keys in the keybox as indicated. Later I was charged for 3 days instead of 1. I called and they said that I had not returned the car. Fortunately, I have records of taking an Uber from their office immediately after returning the car and records of being elsewhere the next day. Later Enterprise called and they admitted that I had indeed returned the car but the key was missing. However, they actually had the key as I was speaking to them. They suggested that I must have returned the next day and hid the key somewhere and that I was lying about it! I can understand them making a clerical mistake , but this was extremely rude and unprofessional. It is somewhat ludicrous to suggest that someone would go through all this trouble and ridiculous to discount the possibility of a simple clerical error on their part. In any case, I will not tolerate being insulted when not at fault. This is the last time I will be doing business with this branch.

The staff at the Palo Alto Enterprise was accommodating and helpful. There was an issue with the minivan we rented. Andrew stepped and without missing a beat switched us our to a large SUV which was a better fit for our needs. Drop off was quick and easy. Our vehical was spotless. I would highly recommend the Enterprise Palo Alto location. I also rent from this location for work as well as personal.

I rented a car for one day, Friday to Saturday evening.
Because they close at 12PM on Saturday, they assumed that I kept the car for 3 days and wanted to charge me for that !
Then they told me that I bring the car with less gas that when I took it.
Hopefully they ended up charging only what was initially planned after discussing over the phone.

Id give them 0 star if I could.. I did a reservation to rent an economic car in redwood city. They didnt have the car I requested so I was told to go to this location in palo alto. it took me like 45 minutes to get there. When I got there they showed me a different car for $600 i was like dude I requested an economic rentalcar for $145 not a $600 rentalcar car.this guys kept talking about how good and nice was to drive this car. In the end I ended up canceling my trip because this guy couldnt get me what I requested online.according to this guy from the redwood city location I was suppose to get the same price. Im very upset because they wanna give you what they want not what the customers request. They dont care about thier customers.. I wouldnt recommend this place..

My wife and I needed a car for a week for a small vacation squeezed into a larger one. The folks at Enterprise on San Antonio Road were just wonderful. We reserved the car which was ready for us on time and we returned it to 'open arms.' There was a bit of a misunderstanding about how the return gas price was to be figured but the management handled it well and we went away happy. We'll do it again. Thank you.

There are hick ups with every rental service, delays happen etc. They are part of the business.

However, this location has a staff that goes above and beyond. I wasn t particularly easy customer as I was renting for a month and was picky about everything. Highly recommended.

I needed a car for commuting while my truck was in the shop for a week. I got one right away and they were flexible about the length of the rental. It was a nice, clean 2014 Elantra. It drove very well and got good mileage. The office is very convenient to the MV body shops off Middlefield Rd.

Renting a car is not usually a pleasant experience since it is typically stemming from an unfortunate event...such as my brand new car broke down and now I have to bring it in to the dealership for what is for sure going to be a stressful experience. With that being said, I was happy to have Enterprise Palo Alto there to help me continue rolling along in life.
The dealership called them over to pick me up and take me to their branch. Adrianne was there within 10 minutes to pick myself and another client up. She was professional, courteous and most importantly she engaged with both of her passengers to ensure that we didn't simply sit in an uncomfortable and awkward silence during the 5 minute drive back to her office.
Upon arrival I met with Logan, who promptly had me setup and ready to go in less than 10 minutes. Got a standard extended cab Chevrolet pickup truck that fell under the $30 per diem amount that the dealership covered. I initially declined the insurance coverage stating that my credit card and my current insurance would cover me should an accident happen. Logan was quick to point out, that while I placed a deposit on my credit card, since the dealer would actually pay for the car, my CC would not protect me against and accident. Since my insurance deductible is $500, it only made sense that I spend the $15 per day on their insurance to provide me with peace of mind.
I had the car for two days, it ran great and was everything I would of expected. The service was impeccable and they even followed up with me to ensure that the experience had been going good so far.
I surely hope I never have to rent a car anytime soon, but if I did I would make the extra trip down to the North Palo Alto branch to work with these two again. Thank you for the great service!

The car arrived only 1.5 hours late. It was not clean, the lighter socket did not work (for the USB charger), and the tank was only 1/4 full.

The service people were nice, though.

Truly outstanding customer service. I've rented from here more than fifteen times (mostly weekend special) and I've never been to a faster or friendlier rental office. It usually takes about 15 minutes to rent a car and 5 to drop one off.

Shout out to Amanda, Tiffany, Giovanni, Morris, Diana, Jerome who made every visit a pleasure.

Once Amanda even saw me walking down the street coming to rent and picked me up. Seriously, this location is the bomb! Thanks guys!

Never ever rent from this company again! I returned my rental on a Saturday at 8:00am Molly the supervisor there was on the facility and asker if I could get a ride back which was only a couple of miles. She was very rude and told me we are not open you'll have to wait an hour for that. She then got into a van with 2 other employees and drove off. I was left outside the store on a bench and cold weather. I don't use cell phones and was not able to get anyone to pick me up and so I decided to walk back home in the cold and rain.

I've had good times and decent cars, except the last trip - the car given to me was a Jeep Compass, and it was awful. Alignment felt slightly off, gas tank was ultra small and MPG was terrible (kept having to fill up), the turn signal "cracked" back into position, the dashboard had no indicator if the lights were on or off, the engine was super weak and struggled over the moderate hills to LA (which felt unsafe). Also, when I complained about it, I was told to just not get a Jeep next time. I was given an upgrade ticket for the next time I rented, but I did not appreciate this experience.
