terrible place i can't even explain how terrible is it

If it stays this way it will be a breeze to come here so far the new check-in process is exactly what I expect from a company that handles food food items and such we don't have to get out of our truck and walk a quarter of a mile anymore and deal with the rude lady behind the glass we now stay in our truck we leave the bills at the gate house they call us give us a door unhook and drop and wait I don't know if the unloading time has improved but so far just not having to walk back and forth and walk through their warehouse deserves a five-star cuz they was terrible before read all the negative comments that are below I agree I've been here many times..

Appointment was midnight. Didn't get assigned a door till 3am. The place is filthy. They need to shut this place down. Health department would have a field day. Bathrooms are disgusting. Trash everywhere outside and inside. I feel sorry for the product going to the public and the possible contamination of food from how dirty this place is.

Typical of C&S... 23:30 delivery appointment, arrived at 19:30. Empty at 04:00.

Corporate needs to clean house I have been to every c&s on the east coast and this one is the worst I'd rather go to Walmart dc and wakefern dc before coming here this is a said excuse of a warehouse no system what so ever

this is the worst place you can go to deliver !!! they have to issue an exit pass in order for you to get paid - they don't do it in general - they only issue one exit pass so you can leave the facility - after that you have to pay $100.00 per PO# to get paid - in my case 5 PO's , this is a ROBBERY - they even have a department named " carrierrequestpod" - i am calling the better business bureau!!! the illegal practice they do has to stop .
it is their job to provide all necessary documents - but they don't on purpose !!!!!! don't go there - will cost you $4-5-6-700 the pleasure to deliver to their place
if you want to pay their rent, electricity, all other expenses GO AHEAD!!

Appointment 7 am , still sitting at dock 1:30 pm , Nasty people here . The worse company ever ,waste our time and fuel,sooner or later C&S will not have anyone hauling for them except their own Hunt trucks ,

Very bad especially against the truckers that deliver their goods things happens on the road that can cause u to b a little late and they have NO hospitality straight aholes make u wait 3 to 4 days for next delivery appt hold yr truck for storage and burn extra reefer fuel and lose money need BBB on them,truckers we gotta stick together on these situations!!

This place takes forever to off load. Delivered here as a 2nd stop with only appx 12 pallets. 7am appt. and it's almost noon and I'm still in the dock.

Check in at 5am given door at 7am start unloading at 11 and stop for lunch break and 8 hrs. Still sitting here waiting at to be unloaded

Very bad service ,lazy worker and root people, they use the stupid & rubbish language with drivers. Behave with drivers like criminals.The worst place to unload, more than 10 hours wait for unloading on the dock. My company will never come again for their load.

Place is near hassle-free since covid I love coming here over a lot of places now. And while I appreciate them being one of the few places left with actual bathrooms available to drivers they should definitely clean them every now and again or at least leave supplies for us to tend for ourselves

They don't deserve one star. Not on this load. 9.5 hrs later and still unloading is incomplete

They are so bad for the appointment, and worest ever no go, even that recieving interance smell is verey bad no go

Ironically this place is MUCH better due to Covid changes. Go figure. Overnighting...if there's space...usually. It's about average for waiting now.

Management and workers dont care..18 hours doors waiting.. open doors..on the dock .. all uneducated poor pity people all losers. They don't know why they getting pay check. Very dirty place

Very rude woman in receiving office. She shouldn t be dealing with the public. Us drivers are just trying to do our jobs. Also, waited 4 hours for her to tell me they could not tell me when they would unload my trailer

They held my truck for 14 hours.!! Then said oh..sorry we forgot to call your driver he has been done for 6 hours, thats after i tryed to get ahold of them for 7hours, they did not pick up the phone, shame on them shame..

This is the worst place to be got here at 4AM still waiting on my BOL they take 5 hrs to unload then it takes them another 5hrs to check the product i just wanted to get to my next loaded can't wait on BOL here my next loaded will be late because of them do not come here if you can you will be here all day and night

Good place + overnight, check in 9:20pm, got the door 10:00pm, left the door 12am. In the dark doc is poorly visible

Worst place I ever had. The woman in the office she is rude, she don t like the color people. I hate that place. I was waiting door more 24 hours, while the other getting door As soon as they get there.

Improved service unbelievably I was in and out in 3 hours. nice people at receiving and security and unloading

This is the first time ever giving C&S a positive review but went in 3 pm for 8pm appt.. they gave me a call about 530 pm and was outta there 10 mins b4 my appt time...

In and out in a couple hours. Nice people. No problems here.

Negative stars!!!! Worst experience at a receiver ever. Been here 12 hours. Staff is rude and unpleasant, one driver was here for 2 days to get unloaded. Don't ever come here!!!

Warehouse Supervisor is agrivated due to lack of help. Making me sit while they unload dropped JB Hunt trailers. Arrived and put to door 105 At 08:30 for an 09:00 appointment going on Noon they have not started on my trailer yet. Supervisor said don't take Sunday deliveries here because I will be sitting all day. No priority for live unloads, poor management, lack of help and rude demeanor from Supervisor which was agrivated because he was having to unload dropped trailers because of lack of help. I will not accept any further deliveries to this location. I will be requesting detention pay as well.
No respect for the hours of service rules we as drivers are bound to comply to. Bad Bad place!!!

If u r on time, u ll be out in 3 or 4 hrs. I was there for 10 hrs, coz I was too early. They gave me the door, but no activity until my appointment time.

I'm a Truck Driver and when I visited C&S their customer service experience was outstanding. The woman who helped me name was Rae. She was very pleasant, helpful, kind, not to mention beautiful. I had a very great experience. Keep up the good job.

They are sloppy 6 1/2 hours unloading they dont deserve any stars

I'm a truck driver and after delivering a load to c&s during the night shift, I got to tell you, I had a good experience there. The beautiful young woman at the receiving window was very nice, kind, and professional. Every time I came she got me a door right away, and I can't forget about that warm smile. Thanks Rae!

We have a phone call to verified our appointment before 3 pm on Saturday we get here at 230 pm after we have a difficult driving situation with I-95 close and flat tire and all the stress to be on time just to realize they close early so we understand and we come back Sunday 530 am to made a line for almost one hour and is almost 2pm and nothing not even at the door. Maybe if they show a little consideration to us I don t complaining here but the lady s you need to face they are really rude , acting mad when they don t even knowing we have two days with not taking a bath and not able to get a load to continue because is a miserable situation at this place. I hope they improve at least on their behaviors

Far from a timely unload manner. Why give you an appointment time let's say 7am when you won't hit a door till 9am and won't be finished unloaded by afternoon sometime? Poor place to deliver to.

Stay away!!!! Worst place for produce ,dairy or dry loads. It's a good place if u need to reset your hours.

Bad place to download I am here from 8:30 am my Appoinment was at 9am and it is almost 12 and they have not finished downloading really I do not recommend coming to download here

No parking truck stop 5 miles away North. Make sure you come on the plain road entrance. Right off the exit Three stars unable to reach shipping and receiving by telephone at night

The worst place to unload, more than 8 hours in the unloading door. Look like they play chess inside.

4pm appt on LTL load - got a door after 7pm, it s a midnight now and probably will be here till morning / C&S sux

The young lady at the window rae is a very pleasant person to encounter at c and s

10pm appointment, arrived at 930, it is now 330am and still haven t even got a door. 6 hours here and nothing. Checked back in after 3 hours and was told to wait for a call. Still waiting.....

It's a black hole for the truckers - the gravity is so strong here, that nothing can't escape from this place and time freezes.

Very pleased with the customer service, fast, and friendly and a big shout out to Rae for going above and beyond to help someone.

This place sucks. Dont deliver here unless you want to get lots of detention pay. And dont expect to make your next appt on time. If 0 stars was allowed id give it 0

You have to park at Pad 7 and it s 4/10ths of a mile to the door you check in at. I m not lazy and would walk a mile to check in if I needed. (not exaggerating, I used a geo tracker on my way up to see) However when it s raining hard an no exceptions are made, don t expect me to be very happy when I come inside to check in. Then I m told that I have to wait another 2 hrs before I can check in and there is no driver s lounge and I d have to return to my truck. What a way to treat drivers like worthless animals. If the weather is foul, be kind enough to make exceptions. Would you have your loved ones do this? I doubt it! Not to mention the yard drivers that fly by spraying you with the rainwater on the ground, and there is no markings for a pedestrian walking area not even a crosswalk. This by far is the most inconsiderate place I ve been to. I was soaked head to toe, thanks for treating the people who keep your business running like unwelcome animals.

This place is very bad to deliver to. They are very slow at unloading. The lady who calls you to a door is right down rude as hell. If you ask her something she cuts you off and being hateful. They need to better unloaders and better office people. Been at the door since 6 am and still waiting 5 hrs later

A breath of fresh air. After years of coming to this place I can say finally a step in the right direction. And, the young lady (Rae). Need more like her . She goes the extra miles in my opinion to explain. First time in and out under an hour. Big shout out.

Rude people at receiving didnt allow me to spend the night but just down the road 4 miles there is a little truck stop with an amazing diner so truckers go there there is plenty of parking id say 25-50 trucks can park depends on how others parked and its open 24hrs definitely not coming back to this big porta potty

I realize many truck drivers are animals, but can't you have clean restrooms and working vending machines?

I am a new driver and I come from an office environment I hate the lack of professionalism. You office people have a job, and should do it correctly. Not make a line of people wait because you are unhappy and you want to feel empowered by making people wait on you. You have a job to perform and should do it correctly! Go home and try again.

Guard and dawn at the window are nice but it shouldnt of taken all day from 20 to 9 in the morning until 14:15 to get unloaded for 3 pallets, wont ever come back here again

The driver was late for an hour and a half.
Checked in at 10:30 instead 9 a.m., checked out at 13:18.

Wells it s a grocery warehouse. That should tell you everything long wait time. Minimum 4hrs that s what I was there for. Place has over night parking and bathroom in the corner of the parking lot. They ll let you check in early. My appointment was 0900 and had checked in at 9:30pm the night before. Lots of room to back in the docks.

Second time here, first time I was here for 18 hours. This time is 10 hours and counting.

This place is TERRIBLE! NO DRIVER SERVICES & THEY EVEN DISCONNECTED THE DRIVER LINE. NO WAY CAN YOU SPEAK TO ANYONE. ROUGH PAVEMENT WITH HUGE HOLES & VERY VERY VERY SLOW. AVOID THIS PLACE!! Just a terrible terrible experience. I will NEVER be back.
