I dropped a pair of glasses on the Mini Mine Train. I saw them and couldn't get to them until the park closed they said. I tried waiting until the security people came, they never showed up so they just had me fill out a lost and found form that very same day. I was so upset because these were name brand sunglasses I got as a gift, and I called everyday to see if they picked them up yet and they kept saying no. I know one of the workers there stole them. They say they clean the park and around the rides every night so why shouldn't they have called the next day to tell me they picked it up.
I love six flags! The only thing is the trash smell is really bad.
Our family loves six flags, food, rides and soo many steps you can get in a day at this park. I love that they have a picnic area if you don't want to spend. I think being a member is a better deal (Gold, platinum, diamond etc..) not only do you get discounts on food, ices and much more but free refills. Most definitely one of my favorite spots to go with the family.
Good time at the Rides Superman and Titan are the best
If I could give this zero stars I would. Do not waste your money. This place is run down and awful. We paid tons of money to go into the park, an hour later they closed it due to l
Low attendance . So much money and we got to ride one ride. My kids were devastated. This place is full of empty hearts and broken dreams.
Holiday at the Park is Great!!! All the lights, shows and vendors is a great way to start the Holiday Season off right!!!!
Super fun place to go with family, or if you just want to go have some fun yourself.
FUN. FUN. FUN. And they are doing all the things to prevent the spread of COVID-19. There is a rollercoaster for everyone here.
It was fun but also overly crowded even on a Monday. Had to wait 1-2 hours for a single ride; waiting in a line
What can I say that hasn t already been said? As far as Six Flags are concerned, this one isn t as impressive as some of the other parks in the Six Flags line up. As far as theme parks in general go, This Park has A LOT to learn from an operations standpoint.
Loading and unloading ride cycles are dangerously mismanaged, leading to poor line management, leading to much longer wait times that their should be. You ll never know it though, they DO NOT POST THE WAIT TIMES ANYWHERE. I feel like that important to know: if you can t see all of the line, you can be waiting 15 minutes or an hour and 15 minutes and there isn t a single sign or even person that could tell you.
Get there before it opens so you can head to your first ride as soon as the gates open, you ll be able to get a handful of the better thrill rides in pretty fast, but after about 2 hours, be ready to wait, and wait and wait, and then be told the ride you ve waited an hour for is experiencing technical difficulties and you ll have to leave.
Every theme park I ve ever been to has offered something to guests when they experience a full shut down of a ride, like a pass to skip the line. Six Flags will just shrug and say you can TRY to come back later, but we don t know if we ll open again
Another hot tip: if a ride closes because of whatever reason within 2 hours of closing the park, it s not gonna open, they re sending those kids home.
It was one of the most funniest times me and my family ever had at any Six Flags.... I like this one more than the Atlanta one that I visit... the staff was very friendly and helpful
I have older and younger kids and they all really enjoyed it. I'm a filler figured lady, so unfortunately a lot of rides were off limits to me, but it was still a very good time. Head to the back of the park first and get there early!
Bought the season drinks and the website said not to bring them that they will still let us get the free drinks but we get here they will not let us get them due to Covid 19 so we are out $150 this park is messed up and uses false advertisement.
A fun place and not terribly expensive. The ride are great as always with a few exceptions. The park is severely showing its age with distressed buildings and fixtures. The food locations owned by Six Flags basically all serve the same food. There are some food vendors that are setup in the park which are awesome but if you have a meal plan, you can't use it with them. The overall experience was good but on more than one occasion the employees seemed more concerned with their social life than customers. In one instance leaving customers in line to take a three way personal conversation to a back room.
Six flags is one such place where you can have fun every time you visit. Superman tower of power is amazing, the Batman ride is my favorite. Definitely worth a visit
Worst experience ever. I have been a season pass member for years. Employees are rude and dont seem to care about customer service. I will not be returning.
Our party of five had a blast on the rides. The prices are breathtakingly high either in dollars or time, which is a serious gotcha. Don't come on a Saturday, especially in summer, work/travel schedule permitting.
Fast Passes for rides are evidently 50% off with military discount, but be prepared to pay $50-125 per civilian if you go that route, on top of the price of admission.
There is no "fast pass" for food and drink, and the heat this time of year means you're standing in the sun for an hour for a beer and some cheese fries - and you'll pay dearly. Service is extremely slow at most venues; apparently everyone on a register is underage and can't serve beer, so they'll run to the back for a manager. Vending machines charge $5/drink ($4.50/water).
Some features are an additional charge, with a minimum number of participants (depending on park attendance?), for instance Dive Bomber Alley.
That said, you will have a full day of fun here. I'd come back, but I'd be sure to check current prices, and I wouldn't return on a Saturday except under duress.
Good time. Accommodating for the heat was a nice surprise by the park.
Six Flags Holiday in the park was lovely! The lights were spectacular and the festive music really set the tone. However, the mics on the Live music were too loud and sounded shrill. We went 6-10pm Saturday and there were not many people More
Back after almost 2 years of not going due to a disappointment I had at that time. Not sure if this time of my visit was better due to that it was not many people but it was a nice and pleasant day, not so many people and friendly staff. The new memberships are actually quite interesting.
Great place to take the family and the workers are very helpful.
Social distancing practiced by most. Everyone was wearing a mask. In fact a reasonably sized crowd not the wall to wall crowds like before.
Plenty of hand sanitizers. Lots of fun on some of the tallest, highest rides in the state. Free water available uoon request. Only ask is for electrical outlets to charge phones. None available from what i could tell.
This is the best experience ever, I loved the thrill of the roller coasters . I will I could take one home, I will definitely be coming back there on my next visit. #letsguide
Family of six spent $600 with flash pass and a coupon book for carnival games. Ended up spending $200-$300 in the park. I'm pushing $1000 here, and all the big rides are closed. Superman, harley quinn, joker, sky screamer, texas giant, all the big towers (forgot their names). Then kids went to ride bat man and did not have flash pass. They rode a grand total of 6 rides all day. The food here is good and unhealthy, as it should be, its fair/carnival food. But i had a Turkey leg and fries 15+change. Funnel cake 15+change big enough to share though. The ultimate sin here a 16oz bottle of $5.50 or $10.00 for 2. And the water fountains are few and far in between. All in all was complete waste of money and a total cash grab. The flash pass was pointless if rides are closed. We went to an escape room the night before and kids still talking about it. I will never go back or recomend six flags period. If on a budget forget it.
Please add a path way on the way out of the Diamond Elite parking spot. Multiple cars are heading our way. I don t want to get run over on my way to six flags. Add a red carpet, I don t feel so elite when I m about to get ran over by a truck. Thank you!
Also do something about the long food lines! I m waiting their like a baby bird waiting to be fead. Plus to make things worst, I m hearing 50+ year old woman complaining about the lines... like we need flash passes for food lines. Take my money and offer me a good deal. Other than that it s a great park.
Kind of dirty but pretty typical amusement park. Really amazing season pass deal
I love six flags. You need to try the joker ride, it's gonna make you scream
Rides for everyone in the family. We have had season passes for two years in a row and I really enjoy the perks. Especially getting to bring friends for free on special occasions. Christmas holiday season is the best.
Great facility would be nice if stuff wasnt broke down so much
I used to love this place until they focused on getting new rides and letting the older one rot. On some rides, the ride operators can be seen eating food at the control spot. Very poor hiring and some of the shows... AWFUL!
Good Family time. Alot of good safety measures for covi-19 ill be back next weekend.
You racist company. What a horrible organization. I will NWVER spend a red cent on your park of hate and segregation. You deny POC positions unless they whitewash themselves. You humiliate race for how they were born, insisting they conform to YOUR IMAGE. Newsflash, YOU are not God over anyone. We are all in that image. Shame on you. With summer vacation coming up, spending money on foreign lands seems more affordable than selling a piece of my beliefs and integrity to potentially LOSE MY LIFE in your less micromanaged hair rides.
We went there last Saturday and it wasn t worth it! Peace of advice if you must go to this park , just avoid on weekends! Nasty restrooms, after waiting almost an hour for a ride and found out ride was out of order.
Better than before covid. Loved it great job six flags, had a blast!
The lines flow quickly and smoothly, the staff is kind, and the rides are wonderful. I go for the titan and texas giant. Their newest ride, I believe called the el diablo, was also super fun and the guy speaking over the comm was hilarious to listen to in line and on the ride
Love this place so much! Always a wonderful time and so much fun! Membership is so well worth it with big family such as ours.
Obviously, as a man who enjoys amusement parks, I love it here. It's a great place for you and your friends to go and chill. I wish there were more spots for you to just chill in the shade for a sec, but it wasn't anything awful. One tip for everyone, be prepared for a lot of walking, waiting, and heat. Be sure to wear shoes that don't dig into your ankles (a very bad mistake on my part) and shorts that don't chafe your thighs (again, a bad mistake on my part), and to prepare for a day of thrill and fun!
It was so much fun I recommend going on a weekday and investing in the food pass the food is exspencive it's not the best food but it's not bad eather
Son really enjoys it, but they should just incorporate the flash pass for everyone like Disney does. It would be worth a slightly more expensive ticket versus all the different membership options along with the Flash pass.
As a result, unless you end up paying a lot more, you spend half your day in line for the big rides instead of just having a good time.
Only 4 stars instead of 5 because the staff is not as open, welconing and friendly as they could have been. There was the occasional staff personnel that was welcoming and friendly and would answer questions instead of just directing you to another unfriendly person. But it is Six Flags so of course friendly staff or not the entire family had fun and we opted for the platinum membership so we will definitely be back.
My home park super fun and high thrill rides and a lot of casual family rides. My personal favorite six flags park
Always have a great time. My complaint is this... The lines take forever to get through because so many seats are left empty.
Park is good as long as you have a membership. After a year or so, kids get bored, unfortunately.
Trying to cancel the membership is a nightmare. I have been trying to do this for almost 5 months...You cannot do it on phone, you have to use the website, which has some issues.
They kept charging my card even if I am not using my membership for 5 months now. and again no body is helping (or at least trying to help) over the phone.
Really frustrating...
Come here every year with my family! Great park with so much to do and lots of rides
The rides are great and the lines are short, but the cleanliness of the restaurants is questionable, at best. They really need to do something about that quickly.
Six Flags was fun. Even better when you get the Flash Pass. Only problem was one of our Flash Passes kept turning off. We had to go exchange it 3 times, which takes time away from having fun.
I grew up going to Six Flags over Texas. They've made a lot of significant changes and the new rides are awesome. Entering the park is pretty smooth and parking seems to fill up really fast. Generally the wait times are pretty quick, but it's been a while since I experienced really lengthy lines like when the Titan was premiered.
There's a kids section that caters to the younger kids who can't ride the bigger rides and has a lot to offer for them. There's also lots of Warner Brother characters to see out and about.
Food is rather expensive here and so are the drinks. But it's average for most theme parks. We often opt to share meals.
I highly recommend their season pass and even the dining plan if you plan on visiting more than once in a year. It's also valid at other Six Flags theme parks.
I'd also suggest going for their Halloween Fright Fest events. They put a lot of work into the shows and the whole park. Christmas events aren't as fun as the Halloween ones in my opinion but still fun regardless.
The only thing I would changed is how very rickety the Judge Roy Scream rollercoaster is. It's an all wood roller coaster but has gotten significantly worse over these years.
I don't think I have ever come to Six Flags and not had an abdolute blast! Every ride is fun. Most of the workers seem to be happy. The waits are a little long, but what can you expect from a place that attracts such a crowd because of how fun it is! Once you go to Six Flags, other amusement parks just don't quite seem to cut it anymore.
Staff is always nice and helpful if we need anything. Pefered parking staff needs to be updated on how many spots are left.
This is a wonderful amusement park with a TON of things to do and see, for a wide range of ages.
Unfortunately, it's a place of nightmares as well. Be prepared to wait a painfully long amount of time even with flash passes. While some of the older rides with long lines have shade and are equipped with fans that spray water to cool you off, the newer rides do not have either, or very little shade, and you are left toasting by the sun for over an hour or two. This was the case for us when we went to ride the Riddler ride and the line wasn't even that long.
Also, the prices are crazy expensive! $5.50 for a regular vending machine drink OR $5.49 if you choose to wait in line to buy one at a food/drink stand. What a steal! Parking is also huge hassle and you're better off walking rather than waiting for one of the shuttle buses.
With that being said, you can avoid the biggest issues being the long waits in line, HEAT/HIGH TEMPERATURES, parking nightmare, and overcrowding if you choose to go in a cooler month, i.e. October-December, especially in the early evening time.
Disappointing for the price. The rides really need to be maintained better. When we went around 30% of the rides were shutdown. The train, harley quinn spinsanity, boomtown depot, oil derrick, cloud bouncer, Aquaman splashdown, More
Is there anything going on New years Eve? Fireworks? What are the hours??
Nice of them to reopen but they have still a few things to iron out still, they're on a good road though, hope they can fix problems with app and geotracking soon
Too bad - My daughter accidentally dropped her smores packet on the ground....the attendant said he couldn't replace it.
So many things to do there's no way you can get bored
I've been coming here since i was a kid. This is the first year i am buying season passes for my kids. I have to admit though this place is getting crazier and crazier. It is getting to such a point that you can't walk through even the main walk areas. Just to get our season passes situated (2 of them), it took over an hour. I remember the days when you could ride most of the park in 1 day, not any more. At least not without an express pass, which is a whole different opinion altogether. It's always been expensive to go, but they've found new ways to capitalize that larger families just can't jump on band wagon of.
As for the rides, the classics remain. However, who waits in lines for the classics. The app is somewhat useful, but don't plan on the ride waits to be realtime or very accurate. It's best for the digital map.Smoking sections and some other items aren't listed at all. The group link has to be prepared in advance, fair warning. It also doesn't do anything for parking.
This is one of the better six flags. There is something to do for everyone! If you're an adrenaline junkie like me, make sure to hit the Texas giant and the Titan. They'll for sure show you a good time. Great food offered at high price but that's just part of the experience. Friendly employees and depending on when you go...usually short wait times. Weekends are obviously busy, go during the week and you'll find you can squeeze out more rides. Overall great experience everytime i visit and will continue to do so every year!!
My granddaughters love the place, when they come to visit, we take them there once or twice...
Rides are are the best, but eating areas are pretty cold, like food would be less then room temp before you get it.
It was great! I can't wait to go back. The gold pass is 100% worth every penny!
Very nice amusement park has alot of rides as long as it's not busy and you dont have to wait forever it is so much fun.
Get the dining pass. The food prices are crazy but gotta love six flags
Great place so much fun love the rides and the funnel cakes so good

Fright Fest Originally only one night in October called 'Fright Night', Fright Fest is the annual Halloween festival at Six Flags Over Texas. Fright Fest takes place throughout the month of October and features several specialized additions to the park. Haunted houses, decorated pathways, patrolling ghouls and spooky music all contribute to the park's transformation into a giant 'scream' park.
Holiday in the Park A tradition started in 1985, Holiday in the Park is now one of the park's most popular seasonal events as the park's season winds down towards the end of November and throughout December. Hundreds of thousands of Christmas lights are strung around the park buildings and rides. An authentic snow hill is available for visitors to sled down. Festive holiday shows, arts and crafts, and delicious seasonal food also bring the holidays to Six Flags Over Texas.

One less star because the trash cans on restaurants are full and tables dirty on busy days and feel like the place can be better maintained some areas look old and unkept. Other than that fun place to go to, lots of rollercoasters, fun for all.
Has many things to have fun for children and adults.
Been going since i was knee high to a grasshopper never had a bad time
It's pretty fun but can be a bit pricey if you're bringing a bunch of family. Not what it used to be though - I used to go here years ago with family. I think it's almost made for teenagers and young adults, but most of the rides I'm familiar with had closed. Not to mention, it's a little dirty... Still, some of those rides are unbeatable and worth the long wait.
Great fun. However during my last trip my girlfriend had her phone stolen from her bag. So if your going just keep an extra close eye on your stuff but more importantly have fun.
We had fun! Food was extremely overpriced. Waited in line for a hot dog only to have the window closed and we were told they ran out. And it would be 30 minutes before they had more . Very missed managed . The stand was run by teenagers that really did not want to work.
The Christmas show and rides were fun.
Would've given this review 5 stars but there are several rides that are either closed or being removed. Wish I would have known this before planning my trip with the grandkids. The website showed a few that were noted for closure, but not all of them were listed. Food was good but it's pricey. Definitely recommend purchasing the souvenir cups with unlimited free refills. If you are staying at a motel close to the park, be sure to ask if they have a free shuttle service to and from the park to save you the $30 parking fee! If possible, go on a weekday, shorter ride lines!
Really cool place we had lots of fun. Really busy on Easter long time to get on rides but overall had lots of fun
It seems like there is always something new to do. Season passes is the best investment I have made.
Fun rides! Some lines were very long. Food & drinks were very expensive. We had a good time, but you really need to plan your rides. It takes a long time to walk to the other side of the park. They had a good mix of (and well documented) rides for younger kids vs older kids. Their app seemed to work pretty well. Could easily find closest restrooms, rides, restaurants to your current location, then get directions. We all stayed there 7 hours. All were pretty tired by the end.
Fun place to go. Not to fond of some rides and feel they are unsafe. I also feel some rides need upgrades because they hurt you.
Had a blast. No lines. Ride the Titan over and over till i got tired of it. God time though!
Amazing rides for children and adults. Some of our favorite food and snacks: barbecue sandwich and funnel cake with toppings. Definitely worth getting the day souvenir cup or season cup.
Expensive and not worth the high cost to bring my family. Rides are crowded with long wait times.
Great rides, great entertainment and I love that they were considerate of the concerns for viral outbreak by the additions of sanitizer dispensers and constant cleaning of the facilities.
