It was my first time to six flags over Texas and it was great! It's so much bigger than I realized by just looking at the map. It was easy to spend time wandering down different paths and riding all the little rides. The big rides didnt have long lines today and that was great too. We got to park before it opened and I would say that's the best way to do it. We left for lunch and will be going back this evening if the kids are up to it!

It's an awesome place to take your whole family. Everyone is welcome, there's so much excitement. It looks beautiful at night time with all the lights on!
I totally recommend Six Flags for anyone that is ready to have a full day of all kinds of exciting things to do with friends and family.
The only thing is the food could be better for the price that it is....other than that, it's awesome.

This place is fun. Don't get me wrong - it and Hurricane Harbor are awesome. They just aren't worth the price. You will likely end up spending over $100 for two people between parking and admission prices alone. Then, you get to wait an hour+ for at most a 2 minute ride, and rinse and repeat.

There are two instances where you should definitely come here. One is for private events. The park is usually kept open hours later, and the amount of people drastically reduces when the park closes to anyone but those involved with the event. This is the only instance where it is probably worth coming back time and time again. Secondly, if you've never been here - it's something you have to experience. It's one of the best amusement parks in the country.

All in all, a cool place but only worth going in the above instances.

I like Six Flags but I wish they'd lower their parking, food, and merchandise. They should create a package for older people to just stroll without getting on rides and buy food and drinks at comparable prices outside the park.

The park it self is awesome! I have enjoyed it since I was a young kid. DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP! I got one in October of 2019 And even with everything going on in 2020, the parks being closed for months.... they are STILL charging my account monthly.... they make it IMPOSSIBLE for you to get anyone on the phone. All their automatic voicemails make sure there is NOT an option for you to talk to anyone. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A PASS AGAIN! I will be making sure no one I know gets a pass ever!

We were skeptical with the pandemic, but or two to Six Flags was a much needed reprieve from quarantining! They made it so safe. There are spots for people to stand 6 feet apart in line for rides and it is enforced. Masks are also required and again, enforced. The employees were sanitizing rides constantly and we never felt like we were crowded. Our family appreciates their commitment to safety!

Holy. Bologna! Never again will I attempt to go on a New Year's Eve that is also a "bring a friend free" day. It was so insanely crowded! I rode 1 kiddie ride with my daughter, the train, and the carousel. That is it! The lines were ridiculously long for EVERYTHING. Even the playground in the kids section was crazy! We didn't even attempt getting in line for a funnel cake because even THAT line was crazy long! Never again!

Rides are perfect, but if you are going on weekends you need to wait at least 30 minutes just 1 ride. So for friday night for example you can ride up to 5 that s it. The best day to go to six flags is weekdays.

Me and family have lots of fun. There are many rides for all ages. I also like the year pass its affordable. The only down side is that saturdays is overcrowded and thats the only day i could go due to work. I dislike when your waiting to get on a ride and they say its close due to technical problems and been waiting in line like 30 minutes . I wish the company or owner would had made more six flags so maybe one would be closer to Tyler tx.

I have been going to this Six Flags since I was a little girl. Now I take my kiddos. Such an amazing bonding experience and fun for all ages. The prices, however, are very high, thats the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five. This year we invested in season passes to the park and a dining pass as well, for only $40 you can get a dining pass that includes a free lunch and one free snack per visit for an entire year?! Well worth it if you plan on visiting 3 or more times this year!!

The park was great on a Thursday with short lines and plenty of shady places or misting fans to cool down in, but the water was absolutely disgusting. If it wasn t murky brown, it had oil in it where animals were living. Several fish and turtles were swimming in oil and it was highly disappointing. However, a staff member overheard our group talking about it and said she would speak to somebody about it. I hope it gets fixed because it is a great park otherwise!

Terrible park, $89 and it s dirty, trash in ponds. Pay for go carts REALLY? . Slush machines constantly empty. Staff hates this place, you don t get a thank you, no good service. I will NEVER again go to this park. Totally sucks, no one helping when you come in, guide you to correct lines. Rides look unsafe old rusty steal.

Park was ok, just disappointed a bit due to the thrill rides closed an hour before closing. And we purchased the platinum flash pass for 125 per person. Such a waste. They should have disclosed before purchase of flash passes.

Always a great time here with family and friends, I have to send a shot out to the funnel cakes group, you manage to always have a smile and provide great service to us all the time we go there, keep at it

This amusement park is very popular & the seasonal decorations & things are pretty, but the park has issues. I never saw any paper maps available, ride lines take up to an hour or more for short rides, a few rides were shut down, the games, souvenirs, & food is ridiculously expensive (especially charging ppl $5 for regular water), and good luck finding your car in the endless enormous parking lot at the end of the day. We spent 30 minutes absolutely exhausted looking for out car to leave! The random signs you can't see & there aren't enough. They need colored signs for every few rows at least.

I ve been to Six Flags Over Texas many times. I used to buy a season pass every year. To all of the reviews that complain of long lines and the park closes due to weather conditions, Six Flags closes the park if any inclement weather or lightning is detected within a certain amount of miles around the park. That is for the public s safety! The weather gets rather nasty in this area at times. Also, the park is always crowded unless you go during certain times of the season. So if your traveling to come and visit the park, check the weather forecast for this area and come when it it s not the busy time of the year. The park is fun but you need to prepare yourself and check all conditions before you visit the park.

I had a wonderful time here. We visited the park on a Saturday in February. There were absolutely no lines. The park was very clean. We all enjoyed the rides. There were two rides that had to be shut down that we encountered. Both ended up opening so we were able to ride them. I was very impressed with how smooth of a ride the Texas Giant was. I have never been on a wooden rollercoaster that smooth.

Staff is always very friendly. Park is clean, most of the rides are operational. Membership is the way to go if you plan on going more than once a year. We go at least 10 times or more plus Hurricane Harbor. Never had a bad experience at this location.

Never made it in. Web site ticket purchases were confusing. Bought tickets at 8pm for the next day. Some how the date changed to that day... Can't get any real person on the phone. Will not reply to messages or email. I am out $278. Word of warning to you. Never again six flags. Fool me once shame on me, no fool me twice...

Needs to be cleaned up bad. Basketball balls and trash in the " river" lost shoes and socks in the park. Just a leaf blower threw out the park and sweeping it up would be nice. Nice rides though.

Usually an awesome place to visit, but when we tried to go on the Saturday before Halloween (Fright Fest), it was terrible. Traffic was backed up on its street and it took us an hour to even get to the park. While in line people had told us the lines were impossible so we just did a straight beeline out of the park. So essentially, we entered and turned right back around and exited. Never even got out of our car! A huge waste of time but other days are usually just fine.

Great food, great thrill rides. Overall exceptional experience. The cleanliness of the restrooms were mindblowing. I give this location an A+. However, still curious about the "Shock Wave" we did not get to enjoy the Galactic virtual reality but it turned out to be a fun traditional coaster. The Justice League 4D metropolis ride in Gotham made up for it.

I went to the park to enjoy Holiday in the Park, but a lot of the lights weren't working on top of the buildings in the area near the Oil Derrick. The tables were dirty as usual at JB's Smokehous, however overall we still had fun.

Too many rides were broke down. I don't know what Six Flags is doing with its money but I know they are not putting in back into the park. Parking is $30 a day, not included in ticket prices. Park was run down, employees were not the friendliest. Kids were not happy about the place, pretty sure I will never go back unless they do alot of improvements.

We came from out of town for memorial day weekend and was so happy that it wasn't as busy as we thought! Were able to get on a lot of the rides and the most we waited was 30 minutes. Makes me realize how much I miss Astroworld!

We are new Diamond Elite Members and love the perks. This month, for like 15 days, we could each get one person in free. We usually have a great time there. The only downside is that often there are rides we want to ride and they are always shut down. Harley Quinn? Never ridden it in the 3 months we've been members. El Diablo, the brand new ride? We've been to the park 3 times since it opened, and all 3 times, it's been down.

Don't eat at Johnny Rockets; the staff looks like they are just miserable. We tried it twice, both times the same. DO eat at JB's Smokehouse Barbeque. The counter staff were all pleasant and even the dining room attendant was helpful, teaching us how to use the automated kiosks.

Been coming two or three times a year for my entire life and it's only gotten better! Really excited about all the new developments and rides, and it looks like there are more in store. Season Pass is DEFINITELY worth the money.

It has changed a lot from when I was a kid the food is not as good, not as many rides and just not as much fun, I only go when my job have their company picnic, but I always have a good time on that one day

A very fun park to visit with lots to do. The 4d battle for metropolis experience ride is a must if you are there even if you are not a fan of the roller coasters. There is something for everyone to do. Also for the kid in all of us you can get pictures with Bugs Bunny Daffy Duck and even Wiley Coyote. The drinks are expensive unless you do the endless refill for a day for 17 dollars. But you can also bring in a empty bottle to fill up with water. Food is a little more reasonable but still expensive . It is better to get a re entry stamp to the park and do the picnic option instead and save the cash. The best thing is the souvenir's they are dirt cheap for a amusement park. I found many things for under 6 dollars. Overall a great experience and I will be back.

Fun for the whole family! Holiday in the park is my favorite time to visit! The lights, the music, and the shows are beautiful! Food is just okay and overpriced, but not terrible. They are adding new foods and those could use some flavoring. The taco shop is not good. JB's Smokehouse is one of the best places to eat. Close to the top of the list is Mucho Nacho. I'm excited to try the Philly cheesesteaks.

We visited on a Monday in May figuring it would be a little less crowded. It wasnt. Lines were extremely long for every ride. We got on 4 rides in a little over 3 hours. 5 of the thrill rides were not operational at the same time. We waited for almost an hour in the line for Mr Freeze rollercoaster only to be told it is temporarily shut down. I understand that rides break down but it just seemed like 5 breaking down at the same time was ridiculous. Most of the ice cream stands and some of the food places weren't open. After standing in line for 15 minutes for the Titan rollercoaster a family of 10 skipped the line and pushed their way in front of us. A park employee saw this happen and did nothing about it. By this time we had enough and we left after being there for only about 4 hours. Tickets are way too expensive to have a terrible time. We will not visit this location again.

Love six flags everything was great just 3 or 4 of the major rides were shut down all day that was kind of disappointing we also did the haunted houses they we're not really worth spending the money on hell block 6 was the best one if super man and other closed rides would of at least opened I would give ,another star

I love coming to Six Flags! We got a season pass and come quite frequently. We almost always have a great time! The rides are awesome, food is yummy (though expensive), and it's a great place to make friends! Took a star off because most employees just don't seem to care. It is a treat when you're greeted enthusiastically and are quickly and kindly served. Most employees have responded with "I dunno" when asked the simplest of questions, like "Where is the nearest restroom?". I'd say, on average, 1 in 4 employees are knowledgeable about their work environment/park layout and 1 in 8 employees are kind and helpful and help provide a pleasant park experience. It's kinda what you get when you mainly employ teens who don't really care about anything other than doing bare minimum and getting paid.
My only other complaints are the prices of, well everything, and the fact that we (and many others) had trouble after buying a 2 park season pass. (When we went to hurricane harbor, they said we only had a six flags pass, even though we paid for the 2 park pass- had to wait 2 hours to get in the park). I understand I should expect to pay a pretty penny when coming to an amusement park, but I don't want to be price gouged from the moment I pay for parking, to the minute I walk out of the park. Thank God we spent $200 and got a season pass with free parking and discounts on food as well as bought a $30 refillable six flags cup (which a park employee tried to steal -problem was rectified by mgmt though), otherwise we wouldn't come here, what with entry fees being $75 per person ($60 ticket, $10 processing fee, $5 taxes.)

Not alot of food options for vegeterians, so food passes are pointless. Lines for rides can get pretty long, staff are young unenterested teens. Rides are ok, but not many can be squeezed in between all of the waiting. Restrooms are TERRIBLE. if you don't have a pass, it is extremely expensive for food, intrance, and parking. You'll pay about $20 up for parking, $65 a piece for entry, $6 for a drink, $10 and up for food. Not a terrible experience, but also not a place I'd care to revisit.

I love the rides and ive come here since I was a child and dont have any bad experiences here but the reason I'm only giving 4 stars is because the facilities such as the bathrooms are way too small and way too old and run down. Also the roller coasters are amazing but the rides that have been here for so many years are terribly faded. Obviously this is an expensive fix but the entire park could definently use a touch up. Overall though I 100% recommend this park for all thrill seekers or not of all ages to visit as I have the last 15 years!

When looking for a fun time in Arlington, this place does NOT disappoint. Good selections of rides, and many fun gift shops to visit too! Fright fest is a must, so if you can go during that time, you should! They also have an amazing holiday in the park, with live Christmas music and hot chocolate.

this place is amazing to go with friends I had a discount on their season passed which gave my family of 7 season passes each for 30! love going on somewhat rainy days it's always empty and rides open up after rain stops, can't wait to go back the again with friends and family!

Great way to spend a day with the family. The rides definitely give you the head rush you look for out of a rollar coaster ride and the feeling doesn't ever get old. I would definitely recommend this 6 flags as the place to go!

Only 5 big boy rides in the park compared to Six Flags Magic Mountain which has like 19 big coasters. Pretty disappointing. The restrooms are disgusting even in the morning. Rides have been down every time I visit.
