What can I say that hasn t already been said? As far as Six Flags are concerned, this one isn t as impressive as some of the other parks in the Six Flags line up. As far as theme parks in general go, This Park has A LOT to learn from an operations standpoint.
Loading and unloading ride cycles are dangerously mismanaged, leading to poor line management, leading to much longer wait times that their should be. You ll never know it though, they DO NOT POST THE WAIT TIMES ANYWHERE. I feel like that important to know: if you can t see all of the line, you can be waiting 15 minutes or an hour and 15 minutes and there isn t a single sign or even person that could tell you.
Get there before it opens so you can head to your first ride as soon as the gates open, you ll be able to get a handful of the better thrill rides in pretty fast, but after about 2 hours, be ready to wait, and wait and wait, and then be told the ride you ve waited an hour for is experiencing technical difficulties and you ll have to leave.
Every theme park I ve ever been to has offered something to guests when they experience a full shut down of a ride, like a pass to skip the line. Six Flags will just shrug and say you can TRY to come back later, but we don t know if we ll open again
Another hot tip: if a ride closes because of whatever reason within 2 hours of closing the park, it s not gonna open, they re sending those kids home.
