Would give it five stars but wearing the mask in Texas heat at a theme park is rough, the best funnel cakes though

Its alright, id prefer to fly to California and go to magic mountain than go here but since its my local park i got a season pass anyways. Oh fyi a bottle of beer is $9

I was with the Edna Karr school band from New Orleans Louisiana they played at Six Flags that day , and after the event we enjoyed the rides the food and at 65 first time there it was a blast

Love it wish to go every day it's very fun and enjoy place

I have season passes for the family! We have been having a great time . Clean food taste great an lines are not too long in the evenings either. Plenty of shade an water sprinklers.

So much more organized and not as packed as before. Lines aren't as long and they are very cautious. Its been a while since we've been but its very clean and fun to be at.

Ive lived in the area my entire life. I only missed going to six flags over Texas 2 years out of 32. And that was because in was in the army... This place is my favorite place to relax and have a great time for an entire day! Get the season passes with the food.. If u go more than once, its well worth it...

The Customer Service is sad, sad, sad. I don't even know what to say! Even with me smiling and having manners I was greeted the entire day with complete rudeness.

Half of the rides were having technical issues at 11:45 am when the park opened up at 11am. Park listed that only two rides weren't operating but there was more than that. Luckily I have a membership and can go back but I feel bad for the others who paid good money and didn't get their money's worth. Get it together peeps.

Such a waste of time spent in lines. If you don't purchase a flash pass, (which are also extremely pricy) prepare to wait in lines for at least a hour- a hour and a half. All for a ride to last 20 to 40 seconds. Plus the mile hike you have to take from the parking lot.

My girls had a blast every time they went I personally am a water kinda gal I was waiting for the aqua man to be built

Was fun the employees at the rides arnt coordinated and seem confused about how to do there jobs one ride operator even started to launch a ride while people were still boarding the ride see another accident happening soon at this park if there employees don't get better at doing there job

Love this place! So many rides for everyone! Food choices have improved tremendously. Love the shade from all the trees too and all the pretty flowers this time of year.

Took the boys down to Frightfest. They had a blast. The park was packed on Saturday night, which it will be from now until the end of the month.

Buyer beware that your season passes do not gain you entry to the haunted houses. Those tickets are available for purchase separate to the regular admission ticket. For three boys, we paid $240 bucks. A little steep for a Saturday night.

Frightfest is fantastic! Kids love the combination of fun and spooky around Halloween. Rides are thrilling, variety of rides for older and younger kids. Food is on the pricey side. I like the water stations throughout the park, free fill-up because rides make me thirsty. Season passes are nice if you plan to return.

Welp coasters nerds live this park but as I scroll down this page I see 1 STAR REVIEWS why this is a top 5 six flags parks! Idk why people give this park a hard time. It s literally amazing GP get a life

I always love getting to go to Six Flags Over Texas with my family. Today was the first time in 3 years that we managed to go. For $30 parking and a little over $80 a person to get into the park, I would have expected them to have done a better job of maintaining the park. Several parts of the park appeared more run down than I've ever seen them, and the amount of trash laying around was unsatisfactory for the smaller than usual crowd this morning (due to weather).

Awesome rides great family fun ... Would give 5 stars but the food is a bit overpriced ... Check out the souvenir shops for great memories ... Better off buying the drink cups and pop corn buckets for discounted and sometimes free refills

Went for Halloween had a good time the kids had fun. Some places in the park cou6use some cleaning repairs and up grading

We love Six Flags! I ve had a season pass for about 5 years now and always love coming. We have never had a bad experience!

Would give more but honestly the process to get in is unbearable and more in depth then to get in to see the President of the US. And the employees were rude as hell. Buy tickets online! They are going to make you do it that way as soon as you get here anyway and wait in line to do that.

Lots of thrill rides. A kid's play area along with rides for the younger guest. Water rides. Easy rides. Carousel. Train ride around the park.

This is the place for most everyone.

Concessions are expensive as to be expected. Gets really crowded around major holidays.

Parking is not very convenient unless you are a member.

Some of the staff are not very friendly. This tends to be the case in their larger restaurants.

Had a great time today with the family. Rode most of the coasters. There were several rides that we wanted to ride that were not working at the time. Crowd wasn't to bad until later in the day when people started showing up for fright fest. We went through all of the haunted houses as well. Three were really good and three were so so. All in all we had great time.

Six flags is still a great place to visit. Everything at the park is expensive so either be prepared for the sticker shock it take advantage of one of their prepaid offers. The only negative thing we experienced was that a lot of the rides we wanted to get on were closed for various reasons when we wanted to ride them. They would reopen later, but we did not have time to ride them

Just like Justin said me echoing him. It's just to crowded. We're diamond pass members as well. So We went yesterday for the fright fest. And it was elbows to elbows in the park. Bumper to bumper in the parking lot. One way in one way out to leave. And we reserved a parking space. And one of the parking lot attendants was very helpful and nice. And for that 3 stars made this visit appropriate. We had to renew our 2020 memberships before the deadline. So upon going into the park the employee scan 2 of my kids in on 1 card. So he referred us to guest relations. Which happened to be another long line. So we didn't stay after fixing that problem. We just left didn't want to encounter any more screw ups for the night. Hopefully holiday in the park is better #fingerscrossed

It's an incredibly fun thing to do with family and friends, the rides are awesome and it's an enjoyable experience.

Went to take my daughter to her interview, every person I ran across was nice, except for the security guard at the front... she was very rude...

Great rides! Staff member by the name of Jordan working Texas Giant made our night. He was so nice and friendly to everyone riding.

Made a reservation. Showed up at reservation time. No crowd at all. Got on our 2nd ride and was told they are closing early and that time is in 15 mins. We were able to ride 1 more ride and then closed. No mention of early closing on the website. 1 hour drive time for 30 mins of play time. Not happy at all!! Six Flags get it together.

I mean what can I say...this place is fun fun fun. Great area for the kids. Thrills for all ages...and decent food. Can be pricey if done ala cart, but membership is a great value.

First of all, who do I need to call to get someone capable of giving me Intel as to why out of every ride available I could only enjoy 5 without someone announcing "we're having maintenance issues, we not do not know how long it will take to resume the ride". It makes sense that you are peddling the season passes and membership because more than half your park isn't functioning. I'd rather save your money/time cause this park is absolutley deplorable.

Wonderful park with lots of fun rides. The lines are a bit long, but it's always worth the wait.

The park itself is great. I'm a season pass holder and can come and go as much as I want through the year. Do your self a favor of your heart is set on a certain ride, check the website. Updates on rides that might be out of service are updated on there and give you a better idea on what you can expect.

Fun place to be but the food is not good and there are so many lines.

Hands down the worst amusement park in the world!!! The customer service at the food stops. The worst I have ever seen!

Good value when you have the season pass and food pass. Beyond that you need to make sure you don't over spend. It's really easy to do here.

Park has gotten a lot cleaner recently and I really hope to see that continue. The lake next to the superman tower of power doesn t smell rancid like it did just a few years ago. Please keep up the cleaning! Increasing my rating to five stars

Almost all the rides were closed due to high wind drove hours to the park for nothing

The best Six Flags location in the country (out of the ones I have visited) lots of fun for all ages. They have rides just for the kiddos and great roller coasters for the big kids!!! Also lots of entertainment for anyone who doesn't enjoy rollercoasters

Great place to go when looking to have some fun. Parking is a bit high, and food and drinks inside the park are a little pricey ... but overall its a cool place to go.

Great time. Long lines but most of them moved pretty quickly

We went for Fright Fest. Expect to park far. The walk to the front isn't bad though, it just looks super far. Anyhow I expected there to be more FRIGHT at Fright Fest as there has been in previous years, there weren't as many costumed creepers as I'm used to. However Six Flags is always a great time.
The haunted houses are good I am told, we didn't do them as I'm a little chicken. Lol

I mean who doesn't like Six Flags? Its definitely a fun place! I'm not a big on riding rides and even I have fun here. The season pass is the best way to go. You can also use it at other parks. I use it at Frontier City in Oklahoma.

Nice amusement park. Fun roller coasters. Food can get pricey. Get there early before opening so you don't have to wait in traffic to get in. I'm from New York and compared to Six Flags Great Adventure, my point of reference, Great Adventure is better.

Who doesn't love a good roller coaster? In this case lots of good ones! Stay hydrated

Another wonderful experience! 4 stars bc some of the rides were down. But they did give us a fast pass and ice water for waiting for a ride that was down. Which was a very nice gesture for our time....you know what...5 stars that was sweet.

Over priced, rundown amusement park. A single soda is $5.93. There are laws against price gouging, this should include when your only option is to buy their soda and they control the price. 1st and last time to go to sixflag parks. Big deal of the day, 2 bottles of water for $10.00.

My favorite place to go with my and I'm 34 years old. When I'm there I'm like big kid that wants to do everything. And I never miss a day at this place

Went over spring break. Half the rides were closed, half the stalls were closed, the railings and walkways were falling apart, just about everything looked to need a touch of paint or repair in some way. I'm glad I went but it was my first time to a Six Flags and I will never return to this one.

The Cristmas lights were still up, ride operators were very unprofessional, and we were served expensive but cold food(ordered a burger).
The owners really should be ashamed of this park.
Would not recommend.

Fun for all ages, holiday in the park seems to be getting better, get there early though if your here for the rides

Keeping things in perspective helps tremendously in a place like this. Remember this isn't Disney World. You aren't buying world class tickets. There are teens running the rides, working the snack bars, and the parking lot. It's a business model. You don't have to agree with the model or even support it if you wish. I'm trying really hard to give those considering going a strong heads up. It's a theme park with a model that pushes season passes hoping the patrons can only attend a few times. I bought season passes for my family and we have been 4 times this past year and a half I think. We also bought the dining package for lunches and snacks. I think when we did the math four visits is a bargain. We actually bought the tickets last year under a deal for two for one or similar. Still, after two years only 4 times or so. Look the park is fun keeping everything in check. Rides work MOST of the time and spreading visits over time helps make it much more enjoyable. Trying to cram everything in one day is miserable. Don't even try. It's a hit buying the passes but proper planning will yield a great advantage over time. You'll get cheap tickets and food the more you go because you've already paid and now the more you go, the cheaper it gets. But, again, this takes a little planning. If you like rides and theme parks and you want to go a lot, this works great. If not, do something else. I mean no disrespect here. I really am trying to steer people in the right direction. I hope and pray this helps someone.

We picked a great day to go. Short lines and not too hot.

Nice friendly atmosphere. Weekends tend to be a bit more hectic with teenagers, so if you have small children be weary.

Waited in line for the joker and they stopped it for some reason when we were next in line.. stopped mr.freeze after waiting for 30 mins.. never got to ride the harley Quinn one cause they never got it to start working... went the next day to hurricane harbor and SURPRISE also had rides shut down when it was our turn.. idk if we just had bad luck those few days or if this happens a lot either way would have a lot more fun if we didnt spend most of our time waiting on rides that we never ended up riding due to being shut down

We really enjoyed the park. Not very happy about the pictures at the end of the rides. Most weren't working and they don't tell you that when you purchase the picture pass. My kids loved the rides and we will return.

Way too crowded and the wait for the rides was near n over 3 hours for the big rides.

Many rides broken. Not many shops open to browse and cool off. Some really friendly staff some staff seemed annoyed.

Construction everywhere. Most all shows cancelled. I wondered why the crowds were so small. I think I've figured it out. Want my money back. Should do construction during off season.

Diamond member and we have to wait in line to get a cup and then another line for a drink and then it has to be at guest services which is in only in one spot. Employees up front when checked in were friendly but not trained properly. The logistics of this park is not good at all.

Only a few of the rides had long waiting times. The girls had a lot of fun. The biggest complaints we had were the food took too long get and the bathroom floors and sinks really need to be fixed and cleaned regularly.

5 major rides were closed yesterday. Suped crowded. Long lines and some dont have misting fans. Overall you spend 7 hours in line for 1 hour of actual rides.

Rides are closed. Games are broke. They nickel and dime you for everything. They don't really take care of the park like they used to. Was still fun though.

Got a couple good rides but rides are frequently closed for technical reasons. Lines can be upwards of an hour wait. They really need to work on speeding things up. Choose a week day.

I wish it wasn t so expensive for food and drinks since the tickets are insanely expensive already. Other then that 6 Flags is always a great time. I love all the rollercoasters and water rides. The lines are crazy long but you know what your getting into when you go to an amusement park. You definitely want to get there early that way you have the day to ride all the rides.

This was our first and last time at Six flags! Most of the rides were shut down due to technical difficulties and then you wait over an hour in line to get on one of the few that are open and they shut down. It was a very frustrating experience. We ve been to many different amusement parks and have never Experienced these problems before. They really need to fix or update their equipment and Lowry their prices. It was truly a waste of time and money! Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

Love Six Flags membership. Free food. Free parking. Free drinks. What more can you ask for?

They do a good job here with bringing new rides and keeping visitors comfortable. The have misters and sprinklers everywhere during the summer and cool fall and winter events. Main complaint from me is the fact that water costs $5 per bottle and the fountains spew out water that is warm. For an old park it is pretty well run.

It was great and not as packed as usual, but alot of the main thrill rides were not working and we got the flash passes mainly for the big thrill rides. Even though the main rides weren't working, it was still a fun date.

Drove to Texas to experience Six Flags Over Texas, and was extremely disappointed. We were notified that the park was closed on the first day that we tried to enter the park. Second day the park was open, but only 3 of the rides were open. There were no vendors, no rides, no fun. The staff doesn t care. Honestly Six Flags Magic Mountain is always well worth your money. I can t recommend this location at all.

When I went to six flags I got over heated and left. I saw so many poor older elderly peoples walking around looking over heated. Please open up later in the day and close at a later time. It s a shamed how hot it be and no one cares about it. Open early and close late to help the poor older peoples out. It s way to hot to be out there standing in 100 degree weather! This membership is trash if I can t enjoy my visit because of severe heat.

Great service amazing food and awsome rides. Also there are tons of attractions. I have been there every year for the past 3 years.

Went to Fright Fest. The theme is waiting in line. Wait in line to get through security, then wait in line to get through the entrance, then wait in line for rides, wait in line to buy $7 water, wait in line...wait in line for a ride that breaks right before you get on. I think all the major coasters had technical issues through out the day.

The place is completely run by teenagers with no apparent management. Everything is done really innefficiently leading to long lines. They could probably be making a lot more money if they fixed their obvious issues. For instance, we ordered some wings and tenders at one "fast food" type place and waited for our food for 35 minutes after ordering. We could see into the kitchen. There were 9 kids standing around with their hands in their pockets doing nothing while only a few others we're working. They could be selling 4 times as many $14 chicken tenders if they had an adult in the room telling how to get to work.

We paid extra for the flash pass which made things more enjoyable because otherwise we might have only ridden about 3 or 4 rides all day. However, the signage around the whole park is terrible. There were many issues trying to find the flash pass entrances, for example. Sign could be improved all around, for food, parking lot, etc.

Scare Zones coulda been a lil better, just a bunch of youngster's in costumes chasing after the cute girls or just standing around.
However, my child and I hada great time regardless, lines weren't that long, great weather, good day and great memories in the making.

Great park. Central location. Excellent price if you buy a pass or membership. Family always has something to do if no other plans work out

Went with some friends and got on every last ride. Loved the place and can't wait to go back again. Look online for a discount offers.
