This is a wonderful amusement park with a TON of things to do and see, for a wide range of ages.

Unfortunately, it's a place of nightmares as well. Be prepared to wait a painfully long amount of time even with flash passes. While some of the older rides with long lines have shade and are equipped with fans that spray water to cool you off, the newer rides do not have either, or very little shade, and you are left toasting by the sun for over an hour or two. This was the case for us when we went to ride the Riddler ride and the line wasn't even that long.

Also, the prices are crazy expensive! $5.50 for a regular vending machine drink OR $5.49 if you choose to wait in line to buy one at a food/drink stand. What a steal! Parking is also huge hassle and you're better off walking rather than waiting for one of the shuttle buses.

With that being said, you can avoid the biggest issues being the long waits in line, HEAT/HIGH TEMPERATURES, parking nightmare, and overcrowding if you choose to go in a cooler month, i.e. October-December, especially in the early evening time.
