Bad experience. They are not honest. Sold me a piece of junk. Whatever you do, don t go to the service department. My car literally sat for 8 + hours on my 1 day off and looked as if it had nothing done to it when picked it up. They are rude as well.

Called at 10 am spoke to Jessica to ask if they could take my lease that was ending she said yes, made appointment for 6pm after work. I show up, Mike Willock starts to take my info and keys, checks out my truck and says no we can't take your vehicle it's over the miles. I

ask for a GM I get Gabriel Jimenez a sales manager. He says they don't have room, then I"m told oh we don't take over mileage cars if customers don't pay we have to pay it. I say I'm leaving , then they threaten to tow my vehicle, I explain I made arrangements to have the truck dropped off since I was told yes on the phone and that I can't drive two vehicles at the same time. Then I'm told they don't take of out state leases. So what, are people who lease not allowed to move?

This place is a joke, I have no idea what to believe for why they wouldn't take my lease. Then they just got nasty about towing my vehicle. Great way to never earn any business from myself or anyone I know. Bunch of snowflakes at this place.

Most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had! Your business is truly valued here... and I wasn't even a Dodge/Jeep fan before my husband convinced me to look at the Jeep. We stopped in after getting a True Car quote, expecting to get the same old "used car salesman grimy tactics".... But received the exact opposite! Everyone was so genuinely friendly and not just solely focused on making a sale. The way I was treated here has turned me from a diehard GM customer to proud Dodge owner! I'll be back and will tell everyone I can about the fabulous stress free hassle free way to buy a vehicle you'll get at Ziegler!

This was my first time at Zeigler. I drove an hour away after they promised me they would get me approved on my Grand Cherokee....and they actually did it.
Frank V was very generous, took my grandkids to McDonalds during the test drive, and was very attentive to every detail involved in my transaction.
I ended up getting the car I wanted without settling for less!
Frank V was very kind & patient thru out my entire visit, as well as the rest of the team. I will definitely let my co-workers know about Frank & his crew at Zeigler Jeep.

Ridiculous outcome. Scheduled a test drive late Sa...

Ridiculous outcome. Scheduled a test drive late Saturday night to come out Monday morning. I even called early Monday to make sure the vehicle was still there. They said "Yes, the car is still here". On arrival, to my surprise, they ended up telling me the car was already sold. I am coming from the city mind you, so this wasn't a neighborhood dealer for me. VERY disappointed and sad to say will be sharing my experience with others.

I want to start with saying that this experience on buying my first Jeep Wrangler has been phenomenal. The staff at Zeigler were exceptional when it came to negotiating finance. They went above and beyond when it came to working with me. I especially want to thank Janae Landrum. Her customer service, determination and problem solving skills are what made everything happen. I highly recommend Ziegler for all your automotive needs.

I am very unhappy, I was told the vehicle had been given the Jeep high standard check out and was basically certified...upon having the vehicle for 1week noticed there was smoke coming from under hood. When I called Zeigler I was informed by the salesman Richard Donovan , with a chuckle oh I just used that as an example, you might want to check your oil...excuse me....just took all the joy out of being excited about working with this dealership

Dealt with Chris white. He was very patient and got us in and out. I orignally went in for a Infinity and we sat down and I needed a down payment as I have challenged credit. I told him I couldn't do it. I then went in a few days later and told them the wife wants a new van or suv show us what we can do. He went came out with a few options for us to see. Here is where they went above and beyond. My trade was worth 1800 all day long they gave me 3700 for it just to get the deal done and on top of that took 2k off the price of the Van. They never pressured me into a car I did not want and they also were very fast that day as I had a 2 hour window that to get in an out. I went to many other places and that said they could get me done just to waste my time and told the bank wont buy your deal. If anyone can get it done its Ziegler. I will be buying my future cars from then. Good Job Chris white and Zeigler staff.

Came here with my girlfriend to look at a used 2015 Chevy Silverado. We were helped by a girl named Anna. We test drove the truck and it was great. Our saleswoman was talking the truck up saying you never see these trucks which was funny because I have friends with the same truck and I see them on the road everywhere. They were asking $26,750 and tried to throw on $995 worth of prep fees and $695 worth of destination fees. Prep fees shouldn t be laid on the buyer. That is part of the dealership to take care of and is part of them doing their business. Our payments would have been $680 for 60 months. That came out to around $41,000 for a $26,750 truck. But the out the door price she showed us was around $31,000 which would have came out to be about $517 for 60 months. Told us there was no negotiating the price. There is always room for negotiation when buying from a dealership. We were upset being that this is the worst experience we ve had at a dealership. We ve been to about four other dealers who were more reasonable on prices and fees. Us knowing we were going to get ripped off were clearly upset and she gave us attitude because we saw right through her gimmick. She was trying to steal our down payment and rip us off on the out the door price. I guess that s how you treat military and police. We received an email on our feedback from the customer service department which I shared my experience with and all we got was a slap in the face. I received an email following up with their clearance sale. I would rather not deal with this dealership again. If we can t even get a half decent experience somewhere why would we be interested in your clearance sale? This was your prime example of a car salesmen/saleswoman try to make the most commission off someone. If you plan on going here expect to get ripped off.

I am on my 6th jeep. The last 2 I bought from Zeigler. Have had nothing but great experience with them. Always got a great deal on the price. Excellent service department. From sales to finance to service always been extremely satisfied all have been knowledgeable but friendly. My sales man Ervin Cottingham did an excellent job, I told him what I wanted and not only deliver, he surpassed it.

Had to go for a service recall and an oil change. My appointment was at 4:00 which I made. I waited for 15 mins finally someone paid attention to me and took my car, it is 5:30 now and I am still waiting, I was told that there are not enough mechanics after 5:00pm that s interesting because I would think that s when you get the most people. Anyways the gentleman I dealt with was very nice and polite, however I would not come back for an oil change.

This is an update of my review from a few days ago...

This is an update of my review from a few days ago. The original was quite lengthy and I couldn't fit both my post and the update - so I had to summarize a bit to include both the main points of my original issue and how well Zeigler came through to rectify them.

On a recent Saturday, I leased a 2018 Jeep Cherokee that was loaded with features but, unfortunately, it didn't come with my must-have, which was a top quality integrated phone system. The onboard Nav and phone system in the 2018 may do the trick for some people who are a bit less plugged in than I am but, because of my job, I live on my smartphone. Access to Android Auto was a must for me.

The 2018 Grand Cherokees, Compass and Wrangler all have the Gen 4 Uconnect integration but the 2018 Cherokee actually has the Gen 3, which is sadly missing this feature and any workaround is a bit clunky. We actually did first look at the '18 Compass with my salesman Chuck - it's a great car but a little small for our needs (though it did have Android Auto). I wanted to see what was the next class up and I thought when we saw the Cherokee that we found something that fit the bill - especially when we looked at the Limited and I realized it had nice-to-haves in it I didn't even know I'd use. At a very reasonable lease price I might add.

Unfortunately for me, I didn't discover that my single top must-have feature was missing from the '18 Cherokee till I took the car home. On Sunday, the dealerships are closed so I called back on Monday to see what arrangement we might reach to make up for this. I was at first told that there's not much Zeigler could do and I was more or less stuck with an admittedly very nice car - but one that didn't meet my needs (for those of you thinking about leasing, just remember there's no right of rescission there).

Understandably, I was more than a little upset - after all it had been just a day since I'd closed my lease and I was a return customer from my 2014 Jeep Patriot I got from them. After that, I was done with Zeigler; ready to swear off ever doing business with them again.

But, later that night Mike Borawski (the Sales Manager) and Chuck Christos (my sales guy) both gave me a call and asked me to come in. They'd heard that I was less than pleased and despite my having no recourse, they didn't want this to be what defines my experience with Zeigler. They could very easily have just let me go off and lose my future business after my lease expires in 3 years. After all, Zeigler moves a lot of cars (I heard that bell ring probably 8-9 times while I was in) and I doubt my missing purchase would have been too great a problem for them. They had their commission, there was nothing to gain here for them except my satisfaction as a customer.

They worked with me and turned my opinion around 180 degrees. I won't be specific about my terms; I certainly don't want to put them at a disadvantage, but I can honestly say that we came to an arrangement that left me perfectly satisfied and they really did their best to do right by me. Despite my obvious irritation when we started out, both Mike and Chuck were extremely professional and, more importantly, willing to work with me to the point that they have absolutely kept me as their customer.

My original review was less than favorable, but it would have been just unfair to leave it as was after the extra mile these guys went for me. I have to admit I cannot think of a single complaint. After my experience with Mike and Chuck, I couldn't be more pleased with Zeigler.

I traded in my leased Grand Cherokee for a new leased Wrangler from Zeigler. The dealership was amazing throughout the entire process and my salesperson Oday was excellent. We'll be getting all our vehicles from them in the future. I bought a Chrysler 200 there a few years ago as well and I returned after visiting other dealerships because I liked everything about Zeigler much better. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who needs a vehicle. I also love my Wrangler. I've had it almost a month. It's a nice change after Grand Cherokees for a few years, and a lot more fun to drive! 10/10 for Zeigler, Oday and the incredible guys in finance. I worked with Derick and he was great too.

I was walked through each step of the experience with great staff. I have already had my car serviced with my protection package and was treated just the same by the service department. In what turned out to be a long day of vehicle indecision, test drives, financing discussions/calls, and lack of patience at times on my part our experience was made memorable because of Rene Quinones.

Rene was informed, knowledgeable, and above all else patient as we navigated the purchasing process. We got what I believe was a great deal on our vehicle, thanks to our communication with Rene, but it was the process in dealing with Rene that will be mostly impactful for me and my wife.
Rene is a credit to his profession, to the dealership, and incredibly additive to the Zeigler group. I will certainly go back to him personally the next time around and would be glad to refer others to him as well.

I was looking for a car with very specific options...

I was looking for a car with very specific options and was very pleased to find it at Ziegler. I live 3 hours away from this dealership, so I was surprised with how easy it was to get a price quoted and many of the details worked out over the phone. While I had hoped this would make for a more efficient buying process when I arrived at the dealership, I was sorely mistaken. Despite having and appointment and everything decided except for my trade-in appraisal, I spent more than 3 hours in their showroom waiting. I even made it very clear that I was conveniently in the Chicago area for a family event and I was on a tight timeline to get to it. Here are the reasons I ended up waiting so long (and being an hour late for my family event):

-Waiting to go get the car I said I wanted the previous day from another lot a couple miles away.
-Waiting for sales managers to "approve the numbers"
-Waiting to sit in a room with a "customer service" lady who tries to scare you into extended protection plans and wont take no for answer until you say it a 5th time.
-Waiting to sit in a room with a finance manager so he can push 3rd party financing on you with above average interest rates and built in extended warranties.

Overall, not a good dealership experience. The salesman (Marco) who took care of me did a good job, and none if this is his fault, so that at least made it tolerable. In the end, I got exactly the car I wanted at a better price than I could have locally. However, it's unfortunate that a customer who has done all their research ahead of time and knows exactly what they want is punished by being forced to run through the gauntlet of unnecessary add-on sales pitches. I feel bad for any customer that enters Ziegler with anything less than 100% confidence in the vehicle they want to purchase and a strong reserve of will power.

Gave it 4 stars, cause once I pulled into the dealership customer parking lot ALL the salesmen of the dealership were all outside standing n waiting for customers to come in n swoop a deal . To me it just seemed too eager of them n too much of trying get a sale rather then letting us settle in first n get out of our car to breathe before approaching us . Other than that everything was great! My salesperson was Sebastian. He approached us right away and had the answers to all my questions. Very nice , pretty knowledgeable , wonderful Fade (haircut) , well spoken an was very concerned about not letting me leave without a car n getting deal done that same day . Think he knew I wanted that Jeep as bad as he wanted make a sale lol . I knew what car I wanted when I approached the dealership and sebastian helped me pick out my New 2018 Jeep Renegade Sport which I couldnt be any more happier with! Took some negotiations n back n forth but overall couldnt be more happier with both the car and Sebastian for being such good sport throughout the whole thing . He helped us get a real good deal on the car n made sure we were as happy as he was . Always asked if we needed anything , any questions , n gives you plenty of time to explore your options n talk amongst your peoples . Overall great experience for my first car n I suggest picking Sebastian as your salesman.

All I can say is James King made our experience great! Back in April we went to look at some Jeep's as we needed to replace my Wife's car. After research and several test drives, we had our eyes set on another make and model from another dealer. We decided we'd test drive a Jeep just to make sure we did our due diligence in looking into most of the available options that met our criteria. Working with James made the process easy and we found ourselves falling in love with the Jeep Compass. Thank you James King for all of your help and patience. ***BUYER BEWARE*** Don t be fooled by the 4 star ...

***BUYER BEWARE*** Don t be fooled by the 4 star review.Please read my review, as it may save you some serious $ and headaches.
I was told by salesman Vine the car I purchased had been through a 155 point inspection. Let s just say- that never happened. Here s a list of problems the first 2 weeks of getting my car.
1. Burned out tail light- right off the dealership lot
($100 lightbulb I replaced the next day)
2. Broken caliper on rear passenger side
3. 3 wheel bearings replaced on the front axle and back driver side. Major safety issue that was over looked and could have caused serious injuries!
4. Broken dipstick- so they never even checked the oil.
5. Coolant was nearly empty.

They might clean the engine bay and shine the car- that s about it.
I was told by the salesman the sound during the test drive was rotor dust. Cute- it was the wheel bearings that were shot. Thanks for caring for our safety.
I ve already spent a small fortune on a car that I was assured went through their inspection
I was told by the finance person that there was no warranty on any of this work. Make sense now- since they didn t do anything.
No follow up phone calls. Once you re out the door and have your money- they don t care about you.
It s an experience alright, just like their slogan says The loud music blaring inside makes it a blast when making an important life decision like buying a car.

Edit: After speaking with Lindsay and Lou from the dealership about my recent experience, they offered a reasonable resolution. It may have been the best car buying experience for me, but glad they helped pick up some of the pieces.

We bought a new 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee last month. Mark Newman our sales guy was great! He was able to give a great price for our trade-in (a 2012 Grand Cherokee from Zeigler). They also transferred our oil change package to the new vehicle. We added a protection plan and a sunroof for a great price too. Mark was part of the process the entire time even after the fact. He gave us his cell number in case there is ever a question or for whatever reason. And yes, I have texted and called him about some of the new features in the Jeep. He doesn t disappoint, answers all of my questions with a smile. Overall, great experience. We will definitely recommend Mark to anyone! Thank you, Mark!!

I have now bought 3 cars from them and they make the process relatively painless. They are high energy and if you know what you want you can get in and out with a great deal. I have been very happy with the process there. I found them because I had gone to fields near my house and the process was so slow and the inventory lacking so I got up and left. I'd never go back after buying from Ziegler.

One of the worst car buying experiences ever. Went to test drive a jeep. Was told that I would need to be pre-qualified before that could happen. I would need to go and fill out a credit appication! I asked why, and that I have never heard of this, salesman said sorry that is what his manger told him! Really? Talked to the manger and his actions where rude, and his solution was to argue that this was their policy-- sorry no test drive and that was it! Went to Napelton Jeep/Chrysler in Arlington Heights and did a test drive and bought a fully loaded 2014 Jeep SRT8 in an hour! Great Experience with their entire staff!

For my first experience of buying a car, this was not very fun. We arrived after calling to say we would be arriving to drive and buy a particular car. It took 45 more minutes to pull the car up. Then the buying process proceeded to take three more hours... when we were simply paying cash.
The dealership was clean, and the employees were professional but the efficiency and service took the excitement away from driving off with my first car.

Waste of time stated they could work with me called my phone for 3 weeks straight
Told them I had 500 down they said we will be able to find something keep in mind that I wanted anything I could get

Got a co signer as asked with a fair 600 score just to be told we need 5000 down

On top of it they had the audacity to laugh when I first came in and told them the last place had required 2000 down

They stated that dealership was a joke but it seems they are the joke bc their required down payment was 3000 more

Horrible Service!!! I will never be back to buy anything from them. Robert P. was one of the salesmen that helped us. He was rude and insulting. He acted like he was a manager it was only till I looked on the website and saw he wasn't.
Jeep dealerships are a dime a dozen, don't waste your time and money with ZIEGLER.
They play games with both.

Top of the line!! From start to finish, we received phenomenal service with everyone who worked with me to purchase my first vehicle. I can t speak highly enough about Jorge Matos. One of the most professional, down to earth salesmen I ve ever worked with. He made things so relaxed at what can be a stressful time. I encourage anyone to request to work with him, he was spectacular. Everyone else we worked with for financing, coverage, etc. was outstanding as well. Great people, great service. I will be recommending to everyone I know and look forward to working with them in the future.
