Sheraton Riverside Hotel Review

We had a nice experience staying here. Nice comfortable room. Beds were great. Lots of nice sightseeing within walking distance. Great view of the river. Restaurant was also very good.

The staff was very kind polite and helpful, going above and beyond. But the rooms were dated and there was no microwave or refrigerator in the rooms although there was plenty of room for both. I expected more from Sheraton.

Nice rooms and great place to have corporate events.

Rooms were very clean, breakfast was very good as well. When I checked in they gave me a room with people already in it.

An old hotel in need of major room updates. Rooms are dated. Carpets are old and have spots all over. Bathroom is old and grimy. Our initial room smelled like smoke and I had to switch rooms. I have always considered Sheraton a higher brand hotel but this Sheraton was a disappointment. I wouldn't stay their again.

The location is very nice, it is right off the bridge and just outside of Louisville. The rooms are not bad and service is good

Clean rooms and courteous staff. Great views of the river and city. Club rooms worth the upgrade. The shuttle service was excellent

Hotel was nice but bathroom needed some upgrades. There were no extra blankets or pillows in the room either.

Booked in advanced and paid in advance. Nasty Old stained not clean....asked to be moved to another room it was worse and the tv doesnt work. the lady at the front desk said oh well those are the two rooms I have. Never stay here it is the worst hotel....a holiday inn is better than this. The customer service made it even worse. If it was not 3am we would have left the hotel

We were not told about the extra $50 hold on the credit card till we check in. The rooms were decently cleaned they didn t have a fridge or a microwave or anything of that nature the rooms were all connected by a door in the middle and we had loud and annoying couple next door people who never were quite day or night. There was nowhere to get it store food while we stayed they provided breakfast but we were unable to ever attend because of treatment time. We as soon as we got there noticed you cannot hook up any hdmi to their tv and the remote was drowned in coffee and left by the last guest so it didn t work and it was just left. We noticed as soon as we got there it took 4 hours for someone just to come give us a remote so we could turn the tv off or down or to any other channel. It was the middle of the night by then! There were no trash bags in the cans, no one called me for the shuttle bus I needed to use or for my wake up call. I was greeted and left that place with a women with a Whoopy looking tattoo that said loyalty chicken scratched on to her chest and she was More Interested in eating her Corn Pops then providing great customer service I don t care if this is the hospital the doctor I was being treated by uses I will never stay at this place again.

The conference facility and the staff were good. The food was, meh. Nothing but carbs. Overall would come again for an event, but would eat breakfast at home.

Had high hopes for this Hotel and was not impressed at all. Pricey for quality of room. No mini fridge. Stains on bed cover. Black spot on ceiling by window. Bathroom very small water pressure very low. Great location and very convenient for walking and for the most part it was quiet and the staff was very friendly.

No. I am fortunate enough to be a frequent patron at SPG properties. The staff here - particularly Chris on the 10th floor Club Center is excellent - and they must be. Rooms are small, dated and soiled. The restaurant- great staff- fair at best in the food category. Try a other property in the area-this one leaves much to be desired.

It was a great experience the view was beautiful the staff was great the room was nice and spacious. I will definitely stay there again.

Great comfortable place with convenient food and drink. Shuttle to 4th street live. A favorite while enjoying Louisville or on business.

Great location overlooking downtown Louisville. Great places to eat just across the street. Will definitely stay here again.

Possible bed bugs on 8th floor. I've only given this a hotel a 2 and not a 1 because it did appear clean and the front desk person was very nice and helpful. There were some kind of bugs or something under the sheets directly on the matters. Let's face facts, there shouldn't be anything on the mattress itself except for some stains from swear and stuff. In this case there were some objects that looked like bug carcasses. I didn't thoroughly inspect as I wanted to get the hell out of that room and that floor.

Excellent service and comfortable room. The only drawback is the buffet breakfast is not included with your stay.

Great night's stay at the Sheraton in Jeffersonville. It was part of a golf package at Covered Bridge and our foursome was really pleased with the rooms, the bar downstairs, and Frank who shuttled us from our hotel to Louisville and back. This is on my list to stay again.

Worst hotel ever will never NEVER stay here again the room is stinking like a dead fish half of the bulbs in this dark room are not working bathroom taps are leaking so much noise from the adjacent rooms ceiling has water seepage spots. Front desk not picking the phone. Dirty carpets. Uncomfortable bed. Simply unacceptable.

Rooms are very nice. Drinks are a little pricy but otherwise very nice

We stayed 3 weeks ago and had an issue with our room. We were able to see the 2 room options to move to. The head of housekeeping moved our belongings and walked our pup while we were in Louisville. She took her all over the hotel to meet the staff and on a walk. They were so good to us that we booked again this weekend! They pulled out all the stops! Treats for the kids and got to stay in the same upgraded room! Sheraton will definitely be our stay every time we visit southern Indiana!

Amazing service! It is an older property, but well maintained. The staff are incredible. We arrived at the airport a few min before 5pm and call the hotel to inquire when the shuttle would pick us up. We were told they run every 1/2 hr. Connor at the hotel asked us to jump in a cab and not wait for the shuttle and they would pick up the fare. Later in the evening the hotel shuttle picked up and dropped us off to a concert we were going to. As i said the service was impeccable.

Very accomdationg to our meeting needs and would consider them again.

Loved the location. You could walk to so much. Rooms were clean . Friendly staff and very accommodating.

I have not been here yet the day that I will give my opinion is a pleasure.

Smelly & very bad stains on carpet. Switched rooms but it still had such badly stained carpet we decided to leave & change hotels.

First night was pretty good. Everyone was very courteous and customer service is great! Looking forward to the rest of our stay.

In a pinch we'd stay again but for the price there's better options. The only nice thing about the place is the easy access to places to eat

Really loved how clean our room was when we got there. We booked a room for the thunder over Louisville event. They offer free complimentary breakfast. But you have to have these tickets they give you in order to eat. Which really makes no since if your staying there. The dining room area is so freaking small it's not funny. It is really cramped. The breakfast stuff they had and the options was great. But the waitress they had running around on the floor was kinda rude and seemed stuck up. Kids tried asking for straws but she ignored them. Seemed to me like she was really being inconvenienced having to be there and doing that job. I had to ask the guy behind the bar I'd I could get some straws. Super sweet and help he was. A warning for parents if you take your kids there. They have a waffle maker there which gets extremely hot. My son tried making a waffle and burnt his hand which ended up as an er visit.

Great night's sleep. Best bed I've slept in across the country in hotels so far.

Nice place. Quiet and a short Uber to downtown Louisville.

The hotel rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are nothing spectacular- on the small side. Overall enjoyable. The tv was not working when I arrived. I called the front desk and the serviceman was in my room within 2-3 minutes. The tv was fixed right away. Overall a convenient location, though there is just about nothing to do around the hotel.

Great hotel but hard to get to. Pay close attention to the exit ramps to get there.

Not very clean, always a problem when we stay there and we are platinum status. Will stay elsewhere when in that area from now on.

Spacious clean and comfortable room, front desk staff were friendly and helpful, convenient shuttle to downtown.

Shower was barely lukewarm 2 days in a row. Was shivering when it was over. It was brutal. Front desk said "a boiler was out and that they like to keep their showers cool so that no one gets scalded". Get the boiler fixed ASAP. Unacceptable and frankly ridiculous. Took like 10 minutes to check me out, the front desk guy clearly didn't want to be there, poor attitude and not focused on customers. Beds and pillows were very nice and comfortable. Room was very clean.

This was a nice hotel, the staff was very friendly and it was a very short commute to Louisville. Frank, the concierge, is a very knowledgeable and super friendly person. He recommended a great restaurant for the wife and I to visit and he even took us there too with the hotel shuttle. I included some pictures because here are some of the views from the hotel. I took these with a drone, but you can see the river and bridge and such from your hotel room depending on where you re at.

I expected way more. Expensive, small dingy room. Hairdryer under the sink looked older than I am and has never been cleaned.
Parking is a mess, several lots, drive around until you find a lot with a parking spot.
People beating on trash cans and dogs barking in the hotel at night. Personel were super nice but didn't seem to know how to do their jobs

My experience was comfortable and relaxing. Very clean spscious rooms.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Had a great breakfast although it is rather pricey at 12: 95 it wasn't that bad for me because we had some vouchers for free breakfast. The lobby where the cafe and bar are located is nice and open and all the room seem to have pretty good views of downtown Louisville and the Ohio River. Overall a nice stay

I've only visited this location for a few retirement parties given by my job and never stayed here but from my visits here everything was very nice and the hotel staff was extremely professional!

The location of this hotel, right across the river from downtown Louisville, is great! The price was really good too. My room was not facing downtown, but I could still see the Ohio River from the window. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

The only downside about the room was it looked a bit dated and had no mini-fridge. It has been a long time since I've stayed at a hotel without a fridge in the room.

Overall it was a good place and stay and I'd recommend it.

It was okay. The room was clean. Interiors are drab. Room doesn't have a microwave or a refrigerator. The hotel is satisfactory but doesn't measure up to the associated price. Would recommend Marriott rather.

Bad location. My room had a couple things that were broken.

Easy to find. Nice room and shower. Friendly professional staff.

Very good place. They were very nice. Shuttle was always on time, and when they couldn't use the shuttle they paid for your can.

Nice hotel perfect for our weekend visit to Louisville.
