The receptionist was FANTASTIC and helpful. The lobby even smells pleasant. The room was very tidy and in order.

The only thing I didn't expect is no mini fridge nor microwave in the room. It obviously isn't mandatory for all hotel rooms to have those, but considering we upgraded to the Junior Suite, I expected at least one of those; either fridge for my drinks or microwave for my leftover dinner.

Poor Internet does not always allow streaming and drops. Large rooms but show wear. Marks all over our carpet. Shower floor split and gooey. very small bathrooms. It's hard to get in the shower with the door and the toilet. Only 2 small drawers in room. No dresser in room or in closet. Bathroom towel had black marks on it. Pillows feel like filled with cotton balls. Nice lobby area. Free parking. Good location and 4 minutes into downtown Louisville. Nice friendly staff.

Old building in need of room renovations. Dirty carpets will leave your socks black, no microwave or fridge, and basic television stretched across an LED screen with those old dilapidated, stupid hotel room interfaces. Way over priced ... save your money as you can visit Jeffersonville without having to stay here. Jeffersonville is the only reason this place gets a 2nd star. I'm dissatisfied with my stay.

Had to turn water all the way to the top and even then was not lukewarm so 3 mornings of chilly showers. Good luck getting the shuttle. I asked 5 times (2 times night before) to be taken somewhere and never was available at the times I requested. Nice enough place not the nicest Sheraton I ve stayed in and people when was able to talk with someone were friendly but a bit of a disappointment overall.

The hotel staff are very kind (specifically Jermaine). The room had a view of Louisville that was beautiful. The hotel restaurant has great food, be sure to try it. There are also two additional restaurants attached to the hotel.

We've had issue after issue at this hotel. It all started when our friend was given a room that wasn't clean. Then, they moved her to a full suite - Nice! We are in our third room now and just staying put. The keys constantly don't work. Rhey are putting in a new system apparently. So, we have to get new keys at least once a day and hope they remember to put lounge access on them. Yesterday, there wasn't a sterno in the lounge so all the food was cold. We were told we could warm the food up in the microwave. The attendant in the lounge is not very friendly, bordering on rude., and keeps the TV on Leave it to Beaver rather than the news. She changes it back if someone puts it on the news. Germaine and Darryl have been great. The rest of the staff seems indifferent or confused. BTW, we are Ambassador level. Get you NOTHING at this hotel for that level of loyalty. Will not stay at a Sheraton again.

Stayed overnight on a family trip. Room was clean and spacious, with a nice view. There were some unexplained noises we could never quite pinpoint, a banging sound periodically. The morning we were set to check out, there was a dog barking repeatedly for nearly an hour. It took us a while to pinpoint it and realize it was coming from inside the hotel. We were leaving when we figured it out. Our television had a signal issue as some of the channels were fuzzy, including the hotel channel so we couldn't do the expedited checkout on the tv. These were not issues we were overly concerned with, and we had already gotten a reduced rate for the room. We only stayed one night. There are several good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, and other attractions nearby. I would stay here again.

Nicely updated recently. The pool is pretty tiny, but my kids didn't seem to care. I was totally obsessed with the flood wall that runs directly through the building and its parking lot. Very interesting.

Good sized room with lounge chair and study desk. Comfortable bed and bedding. Free parking. Breakfast is $12.

If your in Louisville and do not mind staying across the river, this place is great value and close to the bridge.

I can't say enough how wonderful our stay was at this hotel. When we first got there to check in our room was not quite ready but with having so many check outs that day we understood no problem so we had no issue waiting we were compensated while we waited and before we got to the room they called me and because of all the time waiting g we got up graded to the hotel sweet best room in the hotel it made our weekend wonderful. Plus the friendly staff and cleanliness of the property very very happy with everything no issues or complaints will definitely stay again

The hotel was as described but the bed wasn't as comfortable as I would prefer. We had a king size single bed room and I could feel the springs and the pillows turned to mush without any support. The facilities were clean and it was awesome to have the restaurants attached. Don't agree with having to pay for breakfast. Staff was very friendly and we had a good time.

Beds were very hard, thought I was sleeping on the box springs. Paid extra for club level access. However, the lounge was closed when we arrived, even though there was a sign saying it was supposed to be open. Had better breakfasts at a gas station. Hotel was very clean and near restaurants. But area around hotel was not very well lit and very confusing to figure out roads.

I stayed here on Business and was greatly impressed with the service and respectful assistance that I received. The front desk representative, Liberty, was so helpful and kind. Liberty showed the utmost dignity and respect, and honorable service, which I is why I appreciate Sheraton hotels and will return here in the future. He also got me a great room with a wonderful view and I loved the very comfortable bed and great pillows!!!

We have been there in two separate rooms one on floor 2 and one on floor 10, and the second time we stayed on floor 10, the view was spectacular! The pool and gym are well maintained. The downsides are that breakfast is only included for 2 vouchers per room per day, so you end up paying a $8-13 for any person you have after that. Also, no mini fridge or microwaves in either room.

This hotel is a little off the beaten path but has great views of downtown Louisville. There is a Hooters restaurant attached as well as another nicer restaurant. There are also a couple of other food choices in walking distance. The rooms are outdated and are showing their wear. Overall, I was unimpressed. There is not complimentary breakfast. In fact, they charge $12 for a very small buffet style breakfast. I don't have any major qualms about the hotel but I would probably stay elsewhere on my next trip to Jeffersonville/Louisville.

Very nice hotel and Emily on 2nd shift definitely went above and beyond for us and she's very nice. We travel a lot and having an interaction with hotel staff like her will definitely have us picking this hotel again! We had room 905 and the views of the Ohio river and the skyline of Louisville KY were AMAZING!

Great hotel! Very clean and we had a misunderstanding on the room we wanted and they fixed it no problem and no extra charge. The staff was very pleasant and kind. They didn't act like they hated their job or we were a bother. The room was very clean and cold and the view was also amazing of the Ohio River at night. Also it is a pet friendly hotel .We will definitely be back to this hotel. Thanks Sheraton Louisville Riverside Hotel for a great weekend stay!

I had stayed here on January 6th, 2020. I couldn't believe that it was only $81 for this my stay here! The hotel had a in-building restaurant that I would give 5 stars for also. The view of the Louisville skyline was awesome from the hotel's restaurant! They have FREE shuttle service from the airport there in Louisville, KY and back if you need it. All the staff were very friendly. The photos I've included in this review were taken at the restaurant in the hotel and looking out the window from the restaurant.

Price was not what it said on Internet and breakfast is extra...lighted make up mirror in room was not working. Hallway to room was dirty and security let people without a key into the back entrance.

First it was rated as a 3.5 star hotel and that is the correct rating. If that is what you are looking for in the Louisville area I would highly recommend it. Nice rooms with some need of updating, but cleanliness and helpfulness and attitude of the staff make this hotel stand out. Very convenient to good restaurants, downtown Louisville and the interstate. Great place and great people!

There are no refrigerator's and microwave's that are standard in guest rooms. I travel a lot with work and I feel like every hotel room needs these for their guests. Also, no shop in the lobby to buy drinks or snacks. But it is a nice and clean hotel.

Wonderful nights rest...... A little issue getting to it due to construction, but I will deal with the construction with the service I received. Food choices are great and within walking distance. And the view from the front of the building is wonderful.

Really great friendly hotel with good views of the Ohio River. There's a nice walk along the river with plenty of restaurants. There's also a nice walk/run over an old railroad bridge That's been converted for pedestrians. It's just on the other side of the river from Louisville, so quick access to downtown.

The location is fantastic. They are a 15 minute walk from everything the wife and I wanted to visit. The room was clean and well kept. The staff was very nice and helpful. They have a pool l, hot tub, and gym that looked to be well maintained. Price was very reasonable. The one complaint was of the bed. The bed was a little too firm and the pillows seemed to try and swallow your head making it hard to get comfortable for my wife and I. Also, bring your own drinking water. You'll thank me later. Over all, I enjoyed it and would stay here again.

Let me just say, Rolonda and Jerome are THE BEST!!! I was out with my husband and we had decided to go across the river to Indiana to eat dinner and have a few drinks. We had more than we should so we decided to walk across the street and stay at the Sheraton. Neither of us wanted to drive intoxicated. These people were just wonderful to us. We try and go there atleast once a month now just to get out of the house (we have 2 teenage boys). We keep going back because of the staff. They always go above and beyond. They have always made us feel welcome. This hotel is VERY Clean!! And they allow pets!! The rooms are up to date and the beds are to die for. I want whatever mattress they use for my own bed! My favorite room is 1004. The view is spectacular, especially at night when the bridges are lit up!! It is a club room so some perks come with that. The little club house on the 10th floor is very cozy and comfortable. Free drinks and appetizers for a couple of hours. The wait staff at the club house is phenomenal!! I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Plus, they have their own restaurant. And they are surrounded by about 4 more great places to eat within a very short walking distance. If your in or around Louisville, KY or Jeffersonville In, and need a hotel, I highly recommend the Sheraton Riverside!!! I would give 10 stars if I could!

Many positives about our stay at this hotel. Firstly, the hotel is conveniently located across the river from downtown Louisville. Close to several attractions and great restaurants. However, keep in mind that you must pay $2 toll to pass through the bridge. Next, the hotel staff was very accommodating and made our visit enjoyable. The hotel has two restaurants attached to it: barrel and bridge and Hooters. Parking was plentiful and free. The hotel offers a free shuttle which works only on tips to downtown.

Almost forgot about our room. It was amazing! Two bathrooms, a large living room and large bedroom.

Check out our view!

We have stayed here multiple times. It's conveniently located across the river from downtown Louisville. What this means is less traffic, easy parking, cheaper rates, and peace of mind. The rooms are spacious, clean, and relatively modern. If I were to fault the rooms, it'd be for the lack of a refrigerator and microwave. Otherwise, we've always been satisfied. The service we have received has always been top-notch. However, the only interactions we've had are check-in and check-out.

The staff has no clue what hospitality is. Awful service, decent hotel. Technically the hotel is not in Louisville, Kentucky, it's in Indiana, you have to cross the highway. You gotta pay tolls, it was easier to get an Uber in Louisville than Jacksonville.

The hotel is close to a walking bridge into Louisville for a proper nightlife experience. The room was very comfortable and the shower gets hot. Two complaints though which is why it wasn't a 5 star experience. Breakfast is pricey and doesn't come with a lot of options. I took the shuttle service to a nearby place and was told to call when I wanted to be picked up. I called 2 hours later and asked how long until they would come by to pick me up. I as told "you'll hear from the driver soon if it will be longer than 20 minutes". 30 minute later I get a phone call and hear "there are 2 groups ahead of you and it will be 45 minutes - 1 hour until pickup. I decline and catch a Lyft instead, and the shuttle/driver are at the hotel. I don't know all the circumstances for the shuttle, but definitely don't appreciate being told I would receive a call in soon and that turns into half an hour.

Our room was wonderfully clean (however there was a big spot in our sheets threadbare from it looked like scrubbing a stain out). I booked on Travelocity for about $50 cheaper than going through the hotel. Was told on phone there'd be no security deposit, but charged a $50 deposit upon arrival. The hot tub jets were not working. Otherwise, we were very pleased. If we ever head back down that way again, we will book with Sheraton. We got our king traditional room for $100 and it was far superior than any $100 hotel room normally is. I'd highly recommend.
