When I had originally made the reservation I had told the lady on the phone that I would be arriving in the early morning & if I would be able to check in then to which she replied yes. I had never received my confirmation text, so while I was on the road I called again to make sure that they had my reservation. The man who took my call confirmed it & said he had sent out another text which I never received. I also asked him if it was ok to check in upon arrival into town which he also told me yes.
When I tried to check in at 8 am the lady at the desk rudely responded that they were full & that the current guests weren't checking out until noon & that I wasn't able to check in until 3. I tried explaining that I had made a reservation & that was told by 2 other employees that an early check in wasn't a problem.
So I left & drove down to the Quality Inn where I explained to the man my situation & he gave me a room that he let me stay in until 1.
When I was finally allowed to check in at 3 & went upstairs the room smelled musty & there was mold growing on the ceiling over the shower. I paid $150 for that?? I should have just stayed at the Quality Inn where the room was cleaner, it had a couch & mini fridge, & was abt $60 less a night. Plus they were much nicer over there.
When I had gotten up mon morning & went downstairs for a cup of coffee, they actually wanted $3 for a small coffee. Asked if I had a breakfast voucher. I just wanted a cup of coffee. Never again. Totally not worth it.
Nice place and great All around staff.
No frig. or microwave in rooms. Breakfast way over priced were it is included at other places.
Awesome place to stay. Everything was great from the lobby to the room. Nice location as well, quick walk to the river with an amazing view of Louisville.
Stayed for 5 days. The lobby and restaurant were gorgeous! There is complimentary shuttle service within 5mi, from 7a-11p... Which is SUPER convenient! The room wasn't bad, either. Our room had no refrigerator or microwave, though. And the bathroom was the smallest we've seen in years. The worst part of the hotel visit, was the cheap toilet paper! I know that seems silly, but for such a nice hotel in a beautiful area- they could splurge on some good tp! Overall, we were very happy to stay there, and will again. Just bringing our own tp next time! :)
Parking a little tight at night but staff was very friendly. A few bars and restaurants in walking distance and view was pretty good
Great hotel on the river. There are chains within 3 minutes walking, and you can get to Jeffersonville restaurants or the walking bridge within 10 minutes. The club lounge is great with great staff.
Nice location with well equipped rooms and friendly staff. The decor and rooms could use updating.
Hotel is in a nice location. Rooms were clean. Bathroom was clean. Beds were clean. Staff was really friendly and professional. My family enjoyed our stay here. Wouldn't mind staying here again
The room was great but the breakfast was expensive and not very good. I would stay here again but would never get their breakfast here again. The hot food was barely warm. I would have asked them to help make it right but I was on the way to a meeting and didn't have time. I suspect they would have made it right.
Sheraton has what we needed when we needed it. Great pet friendly rooms and service.
Great hotel, great views and local food is spot on.
Good views of the Ohio River for thunder over Louisville
The room seems clean but is small and the bathroom is tiny. When I checked in, no details about hotel services were provided - no information about food options or the pool or anything. We tried to order room service Sunday night and no one answered the phone. Called guest services and was told that the restaurant was closed through Labor Day. However, the location is nice being so close to the riverfront and the price was decent.
Friendly staff. Rooms where clean and kept at a good temperature. They had a shuttle service running and it was a great way to get downtown.
Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, quick response to all my needs will stay here again
There was a professional atmosphere here. Although I have experienced slightly better atmospheres this was enjoyable. I would highly recommend it.
Pet friendly, conveniently located to all local attractions.
Room was very clean!! The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay!!
A great hotel with a wonderful atmosphere. The staff is great and the rooms were nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Fine except hot humid hallways and no mini fridge in room for leftovers.
Clean and friendly staff. Room sizes are decent, bathrooms are small, great views of the Ohio river and down town Louisville. Located in Jeffersonville Indiana, on the opposite side of the Ohio River. You will have to take an uber or car ride to reach downtown Louisville, it will cost about $12 without surge pricing. I would not suggest using the shuttle provided by the hotel though.
The only issue I had is when we used the Sheraton Shuttle. We were the last group to unload at a location and the driver demanded we provide him monetary compensation for the ride. I found this to be rude since customary tips are determined based on the quality of the trip.
All of the other staff I interacted with were wonderful and made my stay extremely enjoyable. I look forward to making a reservation here the next time I visit the Louisville area.
It was nice, clean, and convenient. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Disappointed in the amenities. For the price paid for the room, I expected to have a fridge and microwave in the room, and ice machine on every floor, and a continental breakfast. For 2 people we were only given one set of towels. We asked housekeeping for another set. One person was super rude and would not give us another set told us to go to the front desk. However another person was more than happy to help and get us another set of towels.
Hotel staff was very nice rooms are clean view was good
Great view & friendly service. However, I was disappointed there was no fridge or microwave, although I assume you could request them. Additionally, there is no way to turn on the shower faucet without getting in & it sprays cold water on you. The toilet paper is also difficult to reach, which is placed far back. Not many options for walking distance grocery.
First off I wasn t welcomed into the place yesterday. No one spoke ; The staff is not friendly at all. I had to find out about the on site dining and bar because they sure didn t explain about of the amenities. I called downstairs to ask for trash can liners and they claimed they didn t have them. Was left with one wash cloth and one towel.....I even called downstairs to ask a question about the room and was cut off in mid conversation. I am asking because I did not know. These people that they have working their need an etiquette session
The hotel was ok. No fridge in the room. Asked for a single bed, received 2 smaller beds for 1 guest. Shower drain was so slow I was standing in water.
Accommodated our team when another hotel was deemed unworthy. Got us settled quickly. Room was normal, but wish there was a mini fridge...
Front Desk staff were very accommodating, views were perfect and the bed was a dream. Rate was extremely reasonable for the room we were provided.
Very nice stay, especially if you're visiting Louisville with a car. Overnight stay was fine, just small things like a light bulb not working, room was cold when we entered and our breakfast menu wasn't processed. They were very apologetic and brought up breakfast fairly promptly. No discount though with added gratuity... But staff were very friendly and room was quite nice.
Jermaine M. Front Desk Supervisor is one of the rudest employees I have ever seen in the hotel hospitality industry. He needs training on how to approach and speak to guests. Very disappointed and I will most likely be removing our business from this hotel as long as he is an employee.
Filthy and a disgrace to the Sheraton name. My baby crawled across the floor and was black the carpet is so filthy. There was a layer of dust under the glass on the table. The sheets and comforter were stained. And the bed skirt was stained. Oh, and 4.80 for a bottle of Dasani water? No thanks.
This hotel is good standard Sheraton. We booked as last minute good deal with no parking fees as driving cross country. did not realize how close to downtown it was, it is very close right across bridge
Experience the grandeur of comfort and grand views of City of Louisville and Jefferson.
Great business nice rooms and they allowing vaping which is a very big plus for me. 10/10 would go again
Great service. Everyone was very nice. Rooms were acceptable.
I enjoyed my stay very much! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The view of the river is great! Lots of places to eat in walking distance. And bar is open fairly late 11 with a great selection of spirits! Jermaine was extremely help full at the desk. Thanks I'll be back!
Convenient location right across the river from downtown. A couple dining option in the hotel with a lobby bar! Very helpful staff!
Very nice hotel with exceptional service staff that goes above and beyond. Free airport shuttle is also available. My only complaints were the lack of the basic refrigerator and microwave in the rooms. It makes it difficult to arrange food options for someone like myself who has to eat gluten free (and impossible to keep leftovers for the rest of you). I really found those simple items being missing in such an upscale facility rather strange.
Sounds outside were too loud. Car convention or other loud noises sponsored by the hotel. If not sponsored, then it was not handled.
Quiet environment which was nice for meeting and catching up with friends.
Very nice stay, helpful staff, breakfast is over priced and under whelming.
A few adjustments had to be made but the staff were accommodating everything work out just right it was a nice day overall
Had a wedding to go to, they had all there rooms not ready yet, said it would be 10 mins, took an hour to get a response back. They we're very unprepared and unprofessional. Everything else was just very medicore.
We were there over the weekend for a youth conference. The accommodations were great for an event of that size (90-120 kids).
I attended a small event at the hotel. The staff was very accommodating and I had a very enjoyable time. I'm sure I'll be back again!
Room was comfortable, but breakfast was sad - $12 for poor selection of not so great food from the buffet. Easy walk across the bridge to Louisville.
My stay July 17 -July 21 was Excellent. The staff was very professional and friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious. I do wish the rooms had refrigerators for people who needs to refrigerate Medicine. The restaurant Hooters connected to the hotel was not that great , but that was not the hotels fault. The actual highlight was the shuttle driver Darrell. He was on time when ever you needed him . He was very friendly and professional. He was very informative on local restaurants, activities, and places to see. He had a great sense of humor, Plus dressed very sharp for the job. I would stay again when needing a hotel in the Louisville, KY and Indiana area
The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean.
Rooms okay. Terrible breakfast buffet. For 12 bucks, should've been way better. Not enough parking.
Great customer service here from the front desk to the courtesy shuttle. Also had a great meal at Bridge and Barrel.
It was wonderful, definitely pay a little extra for the club suite!
We didn't stay in a room so I can't comment on that. We popped in to watch "Comedy by the Bridge" it was awesome and the host was very welcoming and friendly. Lounge had an amazing view of downtown Louisville. Very modern and swanky. Had a yummy fall drink menu (in the spring) but couldn't make basic drinks. Elevators did take forever and it was super hot on the second floor? Very clean with ample parking in the heart of everything.
Drove through the parking lot. It was clean and the driver of their van was friendly.
This Hotel is definitely a winner. The staff are very friendly.
The Gift Shop "The Market" had many different items and was very interesting.
There are two employees that deserve the upmost accolades; Frank Green the Bell Captain with his 10 years in Tenure and many stories was excellent Service. Also Alton the Houseman was extremely busy and detailed getting the Hotel looking extremely beautiful this morning.
The Management especially Brandon Sparks was very helpful and professional. He has by far been one of the most courteous hotel Front Office Supervisors.
This Morning Rob Cook and Faith in the Riverside Cafe were very cheerful and hospitable.
Even this morning Katie Gibson Front Office Supervisor helped out with a couple complimentary bottles of water.
Paula in housekeeping was very helpful in locating the ice machines. 2, 4,6, and 8 floors have Ice Machines. She had a couple wonderful things to say about the Hotel when asked here how long she has worked her. "Love working here and Love the Staff" "Should come back and see us" She has been here a year. "HAVE A BLESSED DAY" was her parting conversation and that truly was a a great start to my day!!!
The was a few adjustments to get used like not having a refrigerator or microwaves in the rooms but they accommodate for Ice on even numbered floors and a Microwave on the First Floor in the "Market".
Nice hotel, and an awesome view of downtown Louisville! The new Bridge & Barrel is really nice. Friendly staff.
Great location right on the river with close by restaurants
Room with two queen beds featured in pictures for "standard room." Reserved room for one adult and two seventeen-year-old female students... Only 1 king bed in room. Manager was helpful and provided a cot, but booking information was misleading.
