All night drum circles maybe your thing. But after 24hour of flying I tend to enjoy my sleep.

I don't know if it's your intake fan or what but I'm staying on the third floor and you can not tell the difference between a bass head party or mechanical failure.

Hard pass next time I'm through.

Fine busy hotel attached by elevated walkways to YYZ Terminal 3 (West Jet, international carriers, Sunwing, Air Transat, NOT Air Canada) and Link inter-terminal rail link to Terminal 1 and the UP Express train to downtown Toronto.

New in 1991 when terminal three opened, the hotel has some older room appointments but is soundproofed, has some rooms that face the terminal/airfield, and has very busy, high traffic lobby bar. The lobby and reception is one the second floor with conference and meeting rooms on level one. Access to T3 entrance #24 is a short walk across the road on level one.

The room is large, the bed extremely comfortable with fine pillows and comforter: I had a wonderful restorative sleep. The bathroom is spacious but the water pressure is very low. The towels are fluffy and a bathrobe was provided (but no slippers which would have been helpful for visits to the pool). There is an in-room coffee maker but no fridge (you can request one, though).

There is a indoor pool (max 4 ft 6in deep), hot tub, and fitness room on the second level as well. (The pool as a lift and handicapped accessible shower.) Theses facilities are open 24-hours which is great! Towels are provided in the change rooms. Both times I went I was the only one there - like having my own indoor pool :)

Plane spotting is fun and easy with runway view rooms (free upgrade possible if Bonvoy or Marriott member).

The room corridors are kinda dark. The hotel is clean, well maintained, busy, convenient to both terminals and the staff were professional, responsive and helpful. There's a gift shops that sells essentials, postage stamps, and wide selection of snacks.

Rates are high but worth it for convenience if you have a long layover. The Up Express can get you to downtown in 25 minutes. One-way fare is $12.75; for a Long Stayover Ticket it's $12.75 for a time-limited roundtrip ticket.

The room service menu is expensive: $47 for steak sandwich. There are less expensive options across the road in terminal three.

The bath room amenities were OK, nothing special. There's an in-room safe, iron and ironing board, and plenty of electrical outlets to charge all your electronics.

The catering was excellent and there were a variety of meetings available to accommodate our group of 20. The food really was great.

Yeah, it was a nice stay. I recommend the Sheraton Gateway for a short stay or long layover - definitely! I would have rated it higher except there's no outdoor green space but given its location and purpose that is understandable. Terminal 3 is a short walk to get some air.

I stopped at the Sheraton to meet a friend for drinks and dinner while I was connecting through Toronto. It was a quiet afternoon with plenty of seating available. We sat up at the bar and the service was mostly good, the bar tender was obviously being asked to do multiple things so wasn't the most attentive. The food was very good. The drinks were incredibly expensive - $11-15 for a beer! Selection was average, and very expensive.

Thanks

Great place, and clean, the hotel restaurant was nice and checkin was quick. a little noisy in the rooms facing the airport so I would recommend facing the other way. People are honking horns all night at the drop off zone which can be annoying to a light sleeper.

worst stay ever. they are very very expensive and taking advantage of people stranded at airport due to bad weather charging way high for very low quality poorly maintained rooms which does not deserve even a single star. even they are so cheap they do not give any bathroom amenities and guess what they are free but you have to call them to get them. seriously what a joke. even wifi is not free in freaking 350 dollars a night room.

Hotel rooms are pretty dated. The beds are not comfy at all, the room and bathroom was not clean! Very over priced, I wouldn't recommend at all. Choose other near hotel with shuttle service and avoid this "5 stars" hotel.

This is a reasonably priced and very convenient option when flying out early or arriving late. While the front desk staff was great, there were not enough of them. Also our air conditioning was squeaky.

Always a great visit

Very convenient hotel for our early morning next day flight. The staff were amazing with our daughter, especially in the club lounge where she was spoiled. Check in and check out were a breeze and the amenities were lovely.
