Lovely hotel ..... everything here is perfettoooooo

Situated amongst the many canals in Abu Dhabi. It has a lovely souk

The place is very wonderful and the service is more than excellent

Here you can find restaurants, souvenir shops and wonderful scenery.

The best hotel in Abu Dhabi, it is my favorite place. Thus, sitting at the pool bar and having the service from Ragib and Jamal is the best thing. I really appreciate them.

Wonderful and clean and the staff are welcome. And the breakfast is delicious

The stay was ok. The bed and pillows were not comfortable at all.

Also in the dinner and breakfast in Al Sofra, there was no name tag for each food in the buffet. It was confusing and time consuming to find out what food is what... this point is not acceptable from a 5star hotel like Shangrila.

Overall we expected a better experience from the hotel but we are bit disappointing unfortunately.

Simply the best hotel in town ... Super clean rooms , super friendly staff and the location is great

One of my bests experiences in Abu Dhabi with the pool next to the riverside and a lot of attentions for Christmas time. Personel is actually in support of the customers and every need could find a solution. Rooms are absolutely classy. I really enjoyed my stay there. Thank you !

Hotel needs upgrade in Room Technology.
TVs are old (not smart TVs). Not enough electric sockets.
Pool bar menu should have more food offerings. Coffee available is not brewed, it is machine.

Nice hotel with nice view and also close to a place where alot of restaurant

We are a fan of Shangri la and as such, we expect a high level of customer service when staying in one. Shangri la in AD did not disappoint and surpassed all our expectations. The hotel itself was immaculate, the grounds beautiful. But the staff are first class, starting with the club lounge. Jane, Angela, Freddie, Deirdre were excellent. Couldn't do a better job if they tried.
The pool staff were great and very attentive.
Check in was a breeze, check out, even more so.
Breakfast buffet was not as extensive as other Shangri la hotels but what was there was of high quality so it wasn't a big deal.
We will definitely return

We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel, the room's are ver nice and the breakfast is fantastic.

The place, the service and the staff are just amazing

the hotel is clean, staff are nice, the offer I got from Booking ,com , was excellent and I enjoyed staying at the hotel ,
but the beds (mattress) was terrible, me and my wife had severe back pain from the first night and it got worse every day, I could barely walk from the back pain ( I stayed 7days) also the mattress for the extra bed was very thin and bad, when I complained on the 5th day, they changed the extra bed mattress to a thick one but the main bed mattres was the same , whatever was done to fix the problem did not work

Excellent Service. Dealt with all my requests swiftly and the room was fantastic.

The room is comfortable. But the beach is terrible, view of the construction site. Everywhere it smells like paint and damp. If food is not included, then get ready to give a lot of money for food.

I love the Chi spa, 90min massage for 560AED right now! Such a beautiful walk and Gondola cruise on the canal. It s green and tranquil, even though the souq doesn t have the buzz it use to have, you can still find some good items. Really enjoyed the sunset drinks by the pool.

Shangri-La is Shangri-La. Exquisite service, food and accommodation. A great place to relax.

Celebrated my husbands 30th Birthday here! The hotel is so beautiful and the views are amazing. The hotel also went out of there way to make my hubbys birthday special! Thank you everyone at Shangri-La for making our stay special.

I was looking for peace and excellent service. I found both. Loved my stay at Shangri-la!

I would like to commend the staff of Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri for their genuine hospitality. When we arrived, we were actually in the wrong reception as our booking is in the residences and not on the main hotel. However, the receptionist (I m sorry I have forgotten to take note of her name but she was an Arabic lady on duty at 4pm on the 2nd) who was kind enough to provide us a buggy to residences reception. The drivers are all smiles and very accommodating despite the blazing heat of the sun. Ms. Zen at the reception was very professional and anticipated our needs when she offered a late check out. Everyone that we had encountered were very warm and hospitable - housekeeping, in room dining, pool attendants, spa therapists and their manager Ms. Vanessa who welcomed us like a family, concierge, and even Service Centre who were very much willing to assist queries and requests on the phone.
Just a suggestion that since it is summer, a refreshing welcome drink and a cold towel would be a nice touch.
Overall, your people is the reason why guests and fellow colleagues keep on coming back to your property despite the numerous hotels and resorts lining up on the same area.

Excellent service amazing stay very comfortable special thanks for Ms Loubna and Ms Leavana from them, they are exceptional and very attentive and smiling all the time. Always taking care of us trough the stay.

We have stayed at the Shangri La 3 times in 12 months and will be booking again soon. We love the property and the staff are outstanding. In no order, Deirdre, Joseph, Marvin, Jane Preacilla, Reggie and their many colleagues make our stays perfect.

Its always great to stay at Shangri-La, its my home no matter where I go

-front office personal should be careful in behaving with guests .They should have the attitude to solve any problems in more gentle and caring manner rather then showing threatening attitude.
-in bath room of room no 1003 there is no push shower in toilet .As muslim its difficult for us to use bath room.
-I hired in two rooms. Televisions are of old model.They are not smart TV as a result kids were unhappy as they couldn't watch netflix,amazone or youtube.Hotel authority should change all Tv to Smart TV which will reduce the cost of Dish TV too and guest will be more happy.

Everything was perfect! It was our 21 wedding anniversary and the hotel made a beautiful display on the bed with rose petals and the towels in the shape of swans with a heart. The other surprise was the delicious opera cake and some sweet treats that was brought to our room. The suite we stayed in was truly wonderful and spacious to fit extra 2 beds. The only negative comment I may possibly have is that the tiling of the pool need maintenance. We shall definitely stay at Shangri-La again! Thank you to Shangri-La and all the attentive staff for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable!

Great hotel with beautiful view of Sheikh Zayed Mosque

Rooms with a nice view to mosque on the river, great service, family friendly, great for weekend getaway

Lovely place to visit while in Abu Dhabi especially at 18-19 hours local time

I travelled with a friend for my birthday. When we arrived at the hotel we were accompanied to our room by Guest Relations Officer Gazel Villanueva who did a superb job, she showed us our room, decorated with balloons, a special birthday cake, garland and a card, signed by the staff, so sweet. The hotel and staff are fantastic, spacious rooms, everything well kept, great pool(s) and beach. I specially want to express my gratitude to Zen and Pooch from the Horizon Club and off course to Gazel. They are your best ambassadors. We had a great time!

Very nice hotel in front of the big mosque (partly hidden by new constructions), the architecture is magnificent and the service always at the top.

This is definitely my favorite hotel in the world! I ve stayed with you twice and I can t wait to come back. The service is excellent, the rooms are spacious and beautiful and the overal experience of the hotel is luxurious and homey at the same time. Very good restaurants and close to traditional shopping centre

Staff are awesome, place is nice but better go for higher floor rooms

There's a restaurant on the lower floor with great buffet service. Ask the staff and they will direct you to this little piece of heaven!

Went for Friday brunch buffet was very well presented with lots of choices, you can choose between 3 different packages without alcohol, with alcohol, or champagne. This is view from infinity pool.

Such a beautiful hotel conveniently located in Khor Maqta. It s also connected to the Souk Qaryat Al Beri. Facilities are amazing, dining options are great - loved the Friday brunch at Sofra Bld.
